  1. Past the show now, but no it wouldn't be. We do it ourselves too
  2. Just announced during Linkin Park's livestream in São Paulo, Linkin Park will be releasing a live film of their From Zero release show in São Paulo to theaters in 2025! This will be the band's first proper Live Film since 2008's Road To Revolution. Along the way, other live recordings like Berlin 2012 for Living Things + and One More Light Live (audio release) have come out, but nothing really to this degree has been released by the band in a long time. The Living Things + show was shown in theaters in the United States in June 2012, the same month the show occurred. This release will likely be a different edit to the Multishow stream, or at least a polished up version of it. The Living Things + showing was also livestreamed, and the theatrical version was just about the same as the livestream version. It's hard to say what the precedent is at the moment, but as we get more information on this, we'll bring it to you!
  3. Very strong chance I'll be there. Can't believe after all these years I haven't properly met you - hope to see ya there! here's what I'm thinking for myself. With the possibility of 2 nights at Brooklyn and Newark (2 nights of Linkin Park in Newark is insane, btw), 2025 might look like this for me: Mexico City? Baltimore Welcome To Rockville? Brooklyn N1 Brooklyn N2* Boston Newark N1 Newark N2* Philadelphia Nashville? Los Angeles? last time LP toured and the LPLive crew did their multi-show US tour runs I was like 14/15. I'll be 25 in January, ready to get fucked up and jam out with you guys next year all over the place
  4. I can try but I also have three different social media sites to post updates on about this AND the other livestream, so I'll see if its feasible for me to do so! EDIT: should be able to watch it for free and without signing up here: https://megacanaisonline.com/canal/assistir-multshow-tvonline/
  5. I'm running my VPN to Brazil and set my city to a random Brazilian town when I signed up, so far it looks like it's working. Updating the main thread with the link
  6. two separate livestreams. Linkin Park’s ends after TEM on their YouTube channel worldwide. Globo livestream is hosted on a completely separate website and may just be a completely different broadcast, and possibly on available within Brazil
  7. What a fantastic day to be a Linkin Park fan. As I write this, Linkin Park's first album in seven years is only hours away from being released here in humble New Jersey, and even though much of the world is finally hearing the record for the first time, there is little time to step away from LPLive coverage. And that's because on top of the release of the long-awaited From Zero album, Linkin Park have COME TO BRAZIL. The band celebrate the release of their new record From Zero with two sold-out shows at São Paulo's Allianz Parque, the first of which goes down Friday, November 15, 2024, for their first headlining show in Brazil since 2012, and you can join in on the action with not one, but two livestreams! We'll get more into that soon... Linkin Park began their short South American run of 2024 shows with their first performance ever in Colombia, at Bogotá's Coliseo Medplus on November 11, 2024. The beautiful fans in Colombia finally got to experience the magic of a Linkin Park show in their own country, as they brought new hits like 'Heavy Is The Crown' and 'Over Each Other' and old classics like 'Somewhere I Belong' and 'In The End' to the packed arena. The band continued their streak of not playing the same set twice, continuing to adjust the setlist by moving the normal rotation slow down into the encore, meaning Bogotá got a rare encore performance of 'A Place For My Head' to top things all off. 'Casualty' replaced 'Given Up' in the setlist - a fair trade given how heavy a toll either song must take on Emily's voice! Mike even rapped a verse of 'There They Go' by Fort Minor over the extended bridge of 'Bleed It Out' to give the fans of Colombia one final treat. Perhaps the most special moment of the show, however, came as a result of technical difficulties. The sound system seemed like its countdown hit zero during the second chorus of 'The Emptiness Machine,' when almost everything seemed to malfunction. The band carried through the song (likely unaware of the issue), but despite the issues the crowd in Bogotá sang even louder to make up for the lost instruments. After a few minutes of idling around for the sound issues to be resolved, the band got things back up, and delivered a second, proper performance of the song. It's things like this that can only happen live, and everyone from the band to the crowd seemed to have a good attitude about it! Linkin Park's full show in Bogotá, Colombia on November 11, 2024. South America has always been incredible to Linkin Park, and this year is no exception. But Brazil always takes things a step further, which we're going to see in action once again in São Paulo. Linkin Park's last venture to Brazil was in 2017, closing the first leg of the One More Light Tour in South America with a second appearance at the Maximus Festival in São Paulo. The band brought brand new tracks to the stage for the first time on that run, including 'Good Goodbye' and 'Talking To Myself,' and made sure to open the show with a bang with the beloved 'Fallout' and 'Roads Untraveled' mashup intro leading straight into 'The Catalyst.' The band's prior shows in Brazil didn't go quite as planned like the Maximus Festival show did, though. The band performed two stops on the Circuito Banco do Brasil in 2014 in Belo Horizonte and Brasília as part of The Hunting Party Tour, and were plagued with technical issues at the first show in Belo Horizonte. Songs like 'Burn It Down' and 'Final Masquerade' were littered with issues, 'Burn It Down' in particular being quite a messy performance. The second night in Brasilía went much smoother, and after having being dropped due to issues the night before, the 'Castle Of Glass Experience' received an update with the speeches from 'The Radiance' by Robert J. Oppenheimer and 'Wisdom, Justice, and Love' by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Brazilian fans were also treated to some of the new tracks off of The Hunting Party like 'Guilty All The Same' and 'Until It's Gone.' The band's last (and first) headlining appearances in the country were in 2012 on the Living Things World Tour. The band made four stops in Brazil: São Paulo, two nights at Rio de Janeiro's Citibank Hall, and Porto Alegre. The band performed all three sets they had rotating through these stops in Brazil, giving fans a full taste of the Living Things Tour. Across three sets included unforgettable moments, such as 'A Place For My Head' opening Set B and 'With You' preceded by the Game Of Thrones theme music opening Set C. Rare Living Things tracks like 'In My Remains' and 'Victimized (w/ QWERTY)' were also played. In 2010, right at the start of the A Thousand Suns World Tour, the band made a few festival stops in South America, including the Starts With You - Music and Arts festival in Itú. The band unleashed brand new songs like 'Wretches and Kings' and 'When They Come For Me,' while also gracing Brazilian fans with their first tastes of Minutes To Midnight tracks like 'No More Sorrow' and 'Shadow Of The Day.' 'Bleed It Out' returned as the closing song after 'What I've Done' closed out the first few shows, and Mike sang the chorus of 'Burning In The Skies' over the bridge. Linkin Park played their very first show in Brazil in 2004 as the last stop of the whole Meteora World Tour, performing at the Chimera Music Festival. Sadly, no recordings of this show exist, but we know the band opened the pits up that night by giving Brazilians the nastiest set they had ever seen, including the 'Blood, Anger, Suffering' outro transition between 'Figure.09' and 'From The Inside,' the Hip-Hop Medley featuring parts of 'Step Up,' 'Nobody's Listening,' and 'It's Goin' Down,' and even a cover of 'Wish' by Nine Inch Nails to over 80,000 people in São Paulo - their biggest show yet up until that point! Brazil has always had an important place in Linkin Park's heart and history, and there is no doubt that continues tonight. Perhaps the single most disastrous performance in Linkin Park history: the infamous 'Burn It Down' from the Circuito Banco do Brasil show in Belo Horizonte in 2014. At this point, anything you can actually dream of happening could be a real possibility in Linkin Park's current form. Their last few shows have broken a lot of precedents - doing things that the previous lineup simply never would've even considered. At one show alone, in Arlington, Texas on November 8, the band debuted a song live after ten years with its original guest ('All For Nothing' with Page Hamilton) as well as a world premiere of a non-prerelease track in 'Casualty.' And even outside of the live stratosphere, the band have been breaking walls down by shadow-dropping a new single called 'Two Faced,' which is perhaps their most Hybrid Theory/Meteora sounding song they've done since... well, Meteora. What's even more exciting is Emily commented on Linkin Park's post about the release: "Let’s play this song live tomorrow! 🇧🇷" All signs are pointing to Brazil getting something incredibly spicy at this show, whether it be a live debut or the revival of an old, forgotten song. Songs like 'No More Sorrow' or 'From The Inside' would be welcome surprises as a rotation song, or perhaps another cut from The Hunting Party, and with two nights in the same city, the band is bound to flip things up a little bit. What are your best guesses as to what'll go down tonight for the release show? Is 'Two Faced' going to be the only addition, or are they hiding more up their sleeves? The 'Casualty' live debut in Arlington, Texas on November 8, 2024. 'Casualty' is a definite in these upcoming sets - will the 'Two Faced' live debut hit just as much? Luckily, you'll be able to find out for yourself as this show will be livestreamed! There are actually two livestreams confirmed for the show: a limited livestream hosted by Linkin Park themselves and a full broadcast from the Brazilian channel Multishow, streaming via Globo. Linkin Park's stream can be accessed via their YouTube channel, and will also be linked below. The description reads, "Join us for Act 1 from our show," likely meaning their stream will go up until 'The Emptiness Machine' - perhaps something else will be shown after? When that ends, we can head to the Multishow/Globo livestream to keep up with the rest of the show. According to a comment by an LPLive member, it may be behind a paywall for those outside of Brazil, however. No matter what, an account will be needed to watch it via the Globe website, so if you plan on trying to watch the stream through there, be sure to sign up and be prepared. A countdown to the livestreams can be found on the YouTube video for Linkin Park's stream, and the Multishow stream can be accessed here. EDIT: You should be able to watch the full livestream from Brazil for free and without signing up from this link. Who's going to the show?! LPLive staff member lpliveusername will be there - hopefully he doesn't melt the whole place down himself! Weatherman Rogue Soul reporting in a cloudy and humid day with otherwise warm temperature, so be ready to escape the muggy weather in the venue and stay hydrated! Linkin Park have a second night in São Paulo tomorrow as well, so expect a lot of news to come out of Brazil in the next few days. The band will be back next year as well, having just announced their 2025 From Zero World Tour dates across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. The band has one more show for the year before they pack things up, take things easy, and get some rest before a very busy touring schedule in 2025: the freshly announced Soundstorm Festival will bring the band to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for the first time in their career on December 12. With the new record finally out, we can't wait to be back on board, getting ready for tour, and bringing you guys updates on all the crazy moments going on at every single show. Be sure to follow us on social media (Twitter/X, Instagram, and Facebook) for the latest updates from the band and their upcoming shows, and sign up on the forums to join the discussion! The new album From Zero is available now!
  8. Today truly gave Linkin Park fans a shock with the announcement of the 2025 From Zero World Tour, and they slipped perhaps an even more surprising show announcement under the radar - they will be performing in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for the new Soundstorm Festival, alongside other headliners Eminem, Muse, and Tyler, The Creator! The band will play on the first night of the festival - Thursday, December 12, 2024 (this year)! The festival features a lot of electronic acts and DJs with rock artists mixed in - friends of the Linkin Park family including Thirty Seconds To Mars and Steve Aoki will be on the bill with them on the other days, so seeing a collaboration onstage isn't too far-fetched either! Perhaps Jared Leto will come out and perform a single with them ('In The End' would be fun, and Thirty Seconds To Mars have covered part of 'Crawling' before), and we all know that Steve Aoki could mean the potential revival of 'A Light That Never Comes' or even 'Darker Than Blood' - or both! After the band debuted 'All For Nothing' with Page Hamilton in Arlington, Texas earlier this month, we now know that we should always be expecting the unexpected on this world tour. And of course, the band will be headlining on the same day as Eminem, who will presumably be playing at the same time. But will a long-awaited collaboration between the two artists finally be possible? Linkin Park has not performed in the Middle East since 2010's A Thousand Suns Tour, where they played shows in Israel (which featured the famous mashup of 'The Messenger' and Bob Marley's 'No Woman, No Cry') and the United Arab Emirates. Mike Shinoda also visited Israel with two shows in Tel Aviv on his Post Traumatic Tour in 2019. This'll definitely be a very interesting and telling show for the band - how will they be received here? It should be noted that Saudi Arabia's clothing policies have been relaxed in recent years as they try to expand their tourism industry with sports and entertainment - WWE hosts a myriad of events in the city, including women's events, where they can compete while wearing long sleeves and covering up their legs. There are still some rules to follow, but the country has become much more lax on this side of things in recent years, and Emily's normal attire should be more than admissible. So for everyone worried for Emily's well-being - don't worry! This is slated to be Linkin Park's final show of 2024 (as of right now). From Zero is out TODAY, November 15! Linkin Park performs two shows in Brazil in celebration of the album release - stick with us for coverage of those shows and this one on our social media (Twitter/X, Instagram, and Facebook), and sign up on the forums!
  9. fixing this thread up with... the actual information lol hope to see plenty of you fuckers on the road 🫡
  10. she looks ready to invade the shout-box 🥲 this is so sweet

  12. We’re only a few days away from the release of From Zero, but the band has not stopped the train from rolling ahead full force! Another song from the record - ‘Two Faced’ - has just been dropped by surprise! Linkin Park: "We couldn't wait any longer for you to hear this song and see the video, so here it is a little early. “Two Faced” is out now." This song is straight out of the Hybrid Theory and Meteora playbook, featuring everything an old-school Linkin Park skng should have - a heavy riff, a huge chorus, an absolutely disgusting breakdown, and even scratching from Mr. Hahn himself. This one’s definitely going to be a favorite, and I bet it’ll be even better live! From Zero is out this Friday, November 15, 2024. The band plays shows in Brazil on the album release day and the day after - will this song be premiered live there?
  13. Vanouver and San Jose, CA added. More even at this hour, how many will pop up tomorrow? Still some big cities missing. Seems like Europe should have more too
  14. thats a lot in the New Jersey area… AND My Chemical Romance is playing The Black Parade in full here in August… my poor, poor wallet
  15. full thoughts coming soon. got a lot to process but I love it top to bottom. Stained is my baby. we must protect her.
  16. forgot to mention these but thank you guys, means a lot 😇
  17. The From Zero World Tour is bringing Linkin Park to some new territory! Linkin Park begins their short South American leg of the tour on November 11, 2024 with their first ever stop in the country of Colombia at Bogotá's Coliseo Medplus! Things are looking great for Colombia. The band absolutely blew away all expectations and precedents with their setlist in Arlington, Texas on November 8, 2024 at the Globe Life Field. For once, the nonsense I wrote about in the last pre-show post about "what could happen" actually happened! The band hit their stadium rig stage with Inception Intro B (with 'Iridescent' vocals) and 'Somewhere I Belong,' immediately bringing that Live In Texas spark back to the Lone Star State. The surprises began after 'Castle Of Glass,' and in a big way - Page Hamilton from opening band Helmet came out onstage to help the band bring the live debut of 'All For Nothing,' from 2014's The Hunting Party, to the stage it has long awaited. Ten years after the album came out, this year's #JusticeForTheHuntingParty has really made its mark. 'Keys To The Kingdom,' another The Hunting Party song that got its live debut this year, was also supposed to be played during the encore, but was dropped in the end, possibly due to time constraints (the band was 10 minutes late to the stage and went over curfew by about 20 minutes, even with dropping a song). With this, we went from only half of the album being played live to a solid 8 / 12: 'Keys To The Kingdom,' 'All For Nothing,' 'Guilty All The Same,' 'Wastelands,' 'Until It's Gone,' 'Rebellion,' 'Final Masquerade,' and 'A Line In The Sand.' This leaves 'War' and 'Mark The Graves' (and interludes 'The Summoning' [which actually has been used in the live show before, just not by itself] and 'Drawbar') left to be played from the record. There are only a handful of songs in the band's discography that have never been played live, and with a lot of big ones that we never thought would see the light of day again getting crossed off the list, we can't help but wonder what could be next. What song from The Hunting Party do you want to see Emily tackle next? The live debut of 'All For Nothing' featuring Page Hamilton live in Arlington, Texas on November 8, 2024. The surprises didn't end there, however. After his solo 'When They Come For Me' and 'Remember The Name' mashup, Mike admitted to the crowd, "We have a second surprise for you tonight. You get to find out -- Dallas gets to find out what happens when Em puts her screamy pants on!" The band then launched right into the world premiere of 'Casualty,' giving fans in that Texas stadium the first real taste of the song. With Mike roaring like he's in Rage Against The Machine and Emily blowing the bridge up like its 'Spit It Out' by Slipknot, 'Casualty' is undoubtedly one of Linkin Park's heaviest songs ever. And the fans in Texas knew it too, after blowing up the From Zero Pit into a frenzy of moshpitting after Mike's challenge: "If ever there was ever a time at a Linkin Park show to show us the biggest pit that you can... Some of you motherfuckers haven't been in a pit in like ten years! Don't you miss it? You gonna show us you still got it?" The band switched up the setlist a little more (this version of the setlist was given a new name: B2) by moving 'Over Each Other' later, replacing 'Friendly Fire' in the setlist. Since it's From Zero launch week... could more surprises be on the way? Being that this is their first show ever in Colombia, perhaps surprises are unnecessary - the setlist as it is is about as good as it gets in terms of being spread all over the band's discography (with the exception of One More Light if 'Friendly Fire' is out for good). But without Page Hamilton supporting, it seems unlikely we'll see 'All For Nothing' again anytime soon, so perhaps the rotations return to normal in Bogotá (the rotation for Set B is normally 'Keys To The Kingdom,' which was moved to the encore before ultimately being dropped). Set A and Set B have been played so far, leaving Set C a good chance to come back out at this show (but with two more shows left, it's hard to say what rotation the band will follow). Set C contains 'Burn It Down' in its interludes and 'A Place For My Head' as its rotation song. Set C also hasn't been played with 'Over Each Other' or 'Casualty' yet, so with those additions to the set, perhaps we'll see things get even more changed up as they find the right place for these songs. The possibility still remains for some surprises, though. Perhaps a new rotation song like 'From The Inside' or 'No More Sorrow' get added to the mix, or maybe another From Zero song sneaks its way in there: of the three songs Emily said she was most excited to play live, 'Two Faced' and 'Overflow' remain. Will 'Friendly Fire' return, or has it run its course on the tour? Hit us with your best guesses as to what we'll see go down in Colombia! The world premiere of 'Casualty' live in Arlington, Texas on November 8, 2024. Who'll be heading to the show? Weatherman Rogue Soul here to report a pretty muggy and cloudy day, with rain and some thunderstorms in the morning and afternoon, with a cool temperature. Dress for a wet but good time ( )! After this show, the band concludes their touring for the year by celebrating the release of From Zero with Brazil, with shows in São Paulo on release day and the day after, November 15 and 16. The first show (which happens on release day) will be livestreamed, as well, so we can all tune in for the action! Listening parties have begun around the world, giving fans a chance to hear the record before it finally drops on Friday - our thread is filling up with fan reviews and accounts, so check it out and share your thoughts on the album if you heard it too! And if you missed it, a new version of 'Heavy Is The Crown' featured in Arcane Season 2 is now available for streaming! As always, we'll have you updated on everything that goes on at the show - especially the surprises! Be sure to follow us (Twitter/X, Instagram, and Facebook) and sign-up on the forums to share your voice!
  18. The softer guitar part in the first half of this was used in the Ext. Intro for HITC at the Worlds 2024 performance, so hopefully they revisit that in some capacity eventually.
  19. A second version of 'Heavy Is The Crown' is out now on streaming services! The Original Score version features in the Arcane League Of Legends series, the second season of which dropped its first three episodes on Netflix today. The song is featured in episode 1 (which is itself titled "Heavy Is The Crown") about 33 minutes in and runs to the credits. This version is slower and more atmospheric, coming in with a slow and heavy explosion in the second half. What do you think of this version of the song? Could make for a cool live intro in the future. The full soundtrack for Season 2 of Arcane League Of Legends will be out on November 25, and also features the likes of Twenty One Pilots, Mako, and Imagine Dragons.
  20. Threw some higher quality videos onto the main post.
  21. and this, ladies and gentlemen, if why I pour over every single possible detail in these show posts. I can’t say I called both, but at least I mentioned the possibility of both happening ‘Keys To The Kingdom’ was in the encore before HITC but dropped, likely due to time. Imagine two THP songs in the set that haven’t been played before this year… maybe in South America. full show:
  22. Just a week before From Zero is unleashed upon the world, Linkin Park performed what may just be their heaviest song ever at the Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. Check out the world premier of their new song 'Casualty' live in Texas: Mike during the bridge: "If ever there was ever a time at a Linkin Park show to show us the biggest pit that you can... Some of you motherfuckers haven't been in a pit in like ten years! Don't you miss it? You gonna show us you still got it?" Some really insane stuff from the band here. Mike sounds like he's in Rage Against The Machine and the bridge feels like I'm watching Linkin Park play 'Spit It Out' by Slipknot. What a time to be alive! The band also debuted 'All For Nothing' from The Hunting Party at the show, playing it with guest Page Hamilton from Helmet, who opened the show. This is the second song from the album to receive its live debut this year, after 'Keys To The Kingdom' featured in a handful of sets in September. #JusticeForTheHuntingParty has truly come! Check out the show page for more notes and details: https://linkinpedia.com/wiki/Live:20241108 The band continues the tour next week with their first show in Colombia ever on November 11 and two shows in São Paulo, Brazil on From Zero release day (November 15) and November 16. At this rate, will we get another live debut, perhaps in Brazil? Show #1 in Brazil is being livestreamed, so we'll be ready for all the action.
  23. What a time to be alive. the band just finished playing LOATR as I post this
  24. Time is counting down fast to the release of From Zero in just about a week from now, and what better what to tide over the wait than some more show coverage? Linkin Park are bringing the From Zero World Tour back to the United States for its next stop - the Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas on November 8, 2024! The last stop of the From Zero World Tour brought the band back to France for the first time since 2017, and they certainly returned with style! The band performed in Nanterre's Paris La Défense Arena, performing a stadium-level show for the first time since 2014's Carnivores Tour stop in Tampa, Florida (where they played at a baseball stadium, similar to this event in Dallas). The band debuted their stadium rig at this show, debuting a new stage (with a typical concert layout rather than the previous 360 stage) with new production. The band brought back essentially the same set from the September leg, with the addition of the new From Zero single 'Over Each Other!' The band added the song in after Mike's solo medley mashup of 'When They Come For Me' and 'Remember The Name,' and featured Emily Armstrong on vocals AND guitar for the first time in her tenure with Linkin Park. Emily was no stranger to ripping some guitar out when previously performing with Dead Sara, so we're excited to hear what else she'll be bringing to the table as the band perform different songs! Emily and Mike shared many moments throughout the show, including a bunch of coaxing Emily to speak French to the crowd and Mike hugging her after she messed up a line at the end of 'Points Of Authority.' The band performed Set A at this show, with 'Castle Of Glass' featuring over the show's interludes and 'Lost In The Echo' in the rotation slot. 'Bleed It Out' featured verse one of 'A Place For My Head' over the extended bridge, as well. Linkin Park performing 'Over Each Other' live for the first time at the Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre, France, on November 3, 2024. This was the first time Emily played guitar with Linkin Park! It had been a long time since Linkin Park had been to France, but it's been even longer since they've been to Texas! Their last show in the state was in 2015, performing at the Bud Light River City Rockfest in May. This set featured a rare 'A Line In The Sand' performance fresh off its debut earlier in the month, as well as a stripped down version of their second collaboration with Steve Aoki, 'Darker Than Blood.' The extended guitar solo bridge to 'What I've Done' was longer than usual due to Chester missing his cues twice to come back in. This show was a festival performance - their last headlining show in the state was in 2014, on the aforementioned Carnivores Tour, where they made two stops: Dallas and The Woodlands that September. The band held their 11th LPU Summit at The Woodlands show, treating LPU members to a VIP experience with the band as well as an exclusive acoustic performance of 'Final Masquerade.' Needless to say, it'd been a long time coming for Linkin Park's return. The band have never been strangers to Texas, however. The band made another two stops to the state on 2012's Honda Civic Tour, again hitting the Dallas and Woodlands combo. These shows featured some eclectic sets from the band, featuring new tracks like 'In My Remains' and 'Victimized (w/ QWERTY)' and even opening up in The Woodlands with 'A Place For My Head.' The band closed 2011's A Thousand Suns North American Tour with a pair of rescheduled dates in Dallas and Houston, after the initial pair of shows were cancelled a few weeks prior due to Chester being ill. These shows featured a wide variety of new A Thousand Suns songs like 'Burning In The Skies,' 'Waiting For The End,' and 'The Catalyst,' while still finding time to treat fans: the legendary 'A Place For My Head' verse and bridge combo for 'Bleed It Out' was born at the Houston show, where Chester sang "You will never get the best of me" for the first time during that extended bridge. Linkin Park performing 'What I've Done' live at the Bud Light River City Rockfest in San Antonio, Texas on May 24, 2015 featuring a super extended guitar solo from Brad Delson after Chester missed his cue to come back in. Projekt Revolution 2008 also concluded with a pair of shows in Dallas and The Woodlands, bringing fans a second wave of Minutes To Midnight nastiness with everything from 'Wake 2.0' and a new version of 'Cure For The Itch' to a Street Drum Corps intro to 'No More Sorrow' and 'Crawling' with Chris Cornell. Projekt Revolution 2007 was even more kind to Texas with three shows in the state: Selma, Dallas, and Woodlands. Across three consecutive nights, Texas got the full Minutes To Midnight experience as the band rocked the stage with three different setlists and loads of tracks, both new and old. The energy must've been something else - enough for Chester to pull off the full 'Given Up' scream at the Selma show - one of only three times this ever happened! The Meteora Tour was further proof that Texas seems to be the spot to see a Linkin Park show. Projekt Revolution 2004 brought three consecutive shows (the first time they ran the Dallas, Selma, and Woodlands trio), seeing the band deliver legendary moments like the Hip-Hop Medley featuring parts of 'Step Up,' 'Nobody's Listening,' and 'It's Goin' Down,' the Blood, Anger, Suffering Outro Transition between 'Figure.09' and 'From The Inside,' and even Bert McCracken from The Used guesting on 'Faint.' And who can forget the band's most iconic Texas performances: their Summer Sanitarium shows with Metallica in 2003 in Houston and Irving, immortalized on the band's first live DVD and album, Live In Texas. These shows almost don't need an introduction, as they are amongst the top benchmark performances in all documented Linkin Park history. From the hits like 'Numb' and 'Breaking The Habit' to deeper cuts like 'P5hng Me A*wy' and 'By Myself,' these shows had everything any old-school Linkin Park fan could need. Linkin Park frequented Texas the most in the careers during the Hybrid Theory days. The cycle's final tour, the very first Projekt Revolution in 2002, saw the band stop at Fort Worth, offering up some really rare tracks like 'And One' and a cover of Deftones' 'My Own Summer (Shove It).' Five stops were made in Texas in 2001, the last of which was in November on the Family Values Tour, featuring Stone Temple Pilots, Staind, and more. The band has always loved a Texas triple-feature, and they did so on Ozzfest 2001 with shows in Selma, Lubbock, and Dallas. Even earlier in 2001, the band performed at the Woodlands' Buzzfest VII festival, as well. The band's first tours ever in 2000 brought them to Texas every couple of weeks with eight total shows: one in Dallas on P.O.D.'s Kings Of The Game Tour in November, two in Dallas and Austin on the Kottonmouth Kings' Ridin' High Tour (and a possible third show in Houston that we aren't even sure occurred), and an unreal five shows (Amarillo, Dallas 1, Dallas 2, Corpus Christi, and Austin) on Union Underground's An Education In Rebellion Tour. Tallying it all up, that'll make 32 (maybe 33) shows in Texas in total, with 11 (just about a third) of those being in Dallas! Will show #12 be the best yet? Linkin Park performing 'Given Up' live in Selma, Texas on August 3, 2007. This was one of three performances ever that Chester nailed the full scream during the bridge! What can we expect at this next show in Dallas? This will be the band's biggest show in the United States since 2014, their first in a stadium-level venue. The new production will be a first for the U.S. as well, giving fans who traveled to a show in September a new look at the set. The band will surely be playing the three released songs from From Zero: 'The Emptiness Machine,' 'Heavy Is A Crown,' and 'Over Each Other' will set the venue alight, and will be the first time the latter two have been performed in the country. It looks like the sets haven't changed significantly since September, so Set B ('Burn It Down' interludes and 'A Place For My Head') or Set C ('Iridescent' interludes and 'Keys To The Kingdom') with the addition of 'Over Each Other' seem to be next in line. The band rehearsed pretty intensely throughout October, though, so it's possible they have another surprise or two under their sleeves for these upcoming shows. Perhaps a new rotation song like 'No More Sorrow' (especially pertinent given the U.S. election results...) or 'From The Inside' will be subbed in, and with the release of From Zero on the horizon, we can't help but hope for another preview at a new song ('Casualty' and 'Overflow' seem to be two favorites by fans who have heard the album and the band) in Texas. Helmet is opening for them at this show as well - could we finally see the live debut of 'All For Nothing' with Page Hamilton this year? Will #JusticeForTheHuntingParty strike again? Hamilton performed with the band at a the Relief Live! event in 2015 and they didn't perform the song, but the band has a new mindset now. Time will tell - what would you like to see switch up in the current set? The band has quite an arsenal of opening acts prepared for this show: Bad Omens, Helmet, and Jean Dawson will be starting the night off. Jean Dawson is an indie artist mixing elements of hip-hop and pop into his dramatic and emotional soundscapes, known for songs like 'P4IN' and 'MENTHOL*.' Linkin Park fans may be more familiar with Helmet, a staple band in the hardcore and alternative metal scene. Lead singer Page Hamilton featured on 'All For Nothing' from The Hunting Party AND has guested with the band before on other songs, so it's definitely possible we see the tour's first guest come out! Helmet are known for their songs 'Unsung,' 'Milquetoast,' and more. Bad Omens are the a part of the newest wave of bands that have broken through in the metal world, already a huge band in their own right and ready to win over more Linkin Park fans. Clearly inspired by Linkin Park in both sonic and emotional terms, Bad Omens' sound is built to pierce through their listener with soaring guitars, screams, and beautiful atmosphere in between. You can expect to hear some of their most popular songs, including 'Just Pretend' and 'THE DEATH OF PEACE AND MIND.' If you're going to the show, who are you most excited to hear? Page Hamilton from Helmet ripping a guitar solo with Linkin Park during 'Bleed It Out' at their show for Relief Live! in Los Angeles, California on November 14, 2015. Will we see Hamilton come out with the band in Dallas? Who'll be heading to the show? LPLive staff members Hahninator (Mark), GlassCastles (Nick), and Ben Newberry will be at the show, so be sure to say what's up if you see them! Weatherman Rogue Soul reporting a pretty wet day for the DFW area, so be prepared to get wet if you plan on waiting outside, and watch out for possible lightning! Dallas is outside the area that should be concerned about severe weather, but all the same, be weary. An official merchandise booth will be open outside of the stadium starting at 2pm, so if you want to go early and grab some merch, get it done! Linkin Park's From Zero World Tour continues next week in South America with their very first show in Colombia as well as a pair of shows in São Paulo, Brazil celebrating the release of From Zero. The band have also begun announcing festival appearances in 2025, with shows penned in for Las Vegas at Sick New World and Ohio for Sonic Temple. Listening parties for From Zero have started kicking up around the world, so be sure to check out our full list of them to see if one's happening near you! And if you're in Australia, Canada, or Brazil, be sure to check out the new pop-up events the band have announced for you, as well.
