  1. Linkin Park's run of pre-tour promo appearances continues (or starts, I guess) on November 2, 2024 with an appearance in London, England for the League Of Legends Worlds 2024 Opening Ceremony at The O2! Linkin Park will be part of the opening ceremony for this year's world championship playoffs - and given that the single 'Heavy Is The Crown' is the Worlds theme song this year, it's no real mystery what they'll be playing here. In fact, the official page for League Of Legends Esports lists all the performances out ahead of time, so there's very little to leave to the imagination when it comes to the music at this. The lineup includes Ashnikko with 'Paint The Town Blue,' Mars Atlas of Forts and Tiffany Aris with 'Still Here,' and of course Linkin Park with 'Heavy Is The Crown.' We're not quite sure if this is the exact sequence the ceremony will go through, but we know Linkin Park will bring the music to a huge finale with 'Heavy Is The Crown.' Being that this is an Esports event, you can be very certain that there will be a wide array of very accessible ways to watch this all go down. The image above includes all the info you need - the livestream will start at 7am PST / 2pm GMT and will be streamed live on lolesports.com. We'll be watching along with the rest of you, so stay tuned with us and send us your reactions to the event! The production is bound to be insane for this one. After this show, the band head to Paris, France to kick off the second batch of tour dates this year with a massive arena show at the Paris La Défense Arena on November 3. The band have been rehearsing all of October for these upcoming shows, so who knows what's in store for us! Be sure to follow us on social media (Twitter/X, Instagram, and Facebook) for coverage on all the madness coming up in the next few weeks!
  2. Things are heating back up in the Linkin Park world as we enter From Zero release month and the next leg of the From Zero World Tour! As the band begins to kick the tour back up with shows in Paris, Dallas, and São Paulo, they will be offering up some promotional performances in Europe before the big shows begin. The first of those will be for the NRJ Music Awards in Cannes, France on November 1, 2024. The event is held at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannes and will broadcasted on TF1. Now, we're not entirely sure ourselves what the situation is with this performance. Based off of the announcement, it seems unclear whether or not the band will be performing in Cannes themselves or if the performance will be pre-recorded. It's looking more likely to be the latter, though what that entails itself is also uncertain. Billie Eilish, who has also been announced as a performer at this event, will be performing a show in Atlanta the day of the award show, so it seems at least some performances will be pre-recorded. The band has been rehearsing thoroughly for much of October in preparation of this next batch of shows, so they'll have had plenty of time in Los Angeles to have done some sort of private performance for this show - perhaps similarly to their performance for the Rio+Social event in 2012, where they showed a couple of songs from a Third Encore rehearsal ahead of their Music For Relief / LPU show a few days later. The band will likely just be playing one song - most likely from the new album - and it really could be any of the three we've heard so far! 'The Emptiness Machine' has taken the world by storm, so it seems like the most likely contender given that it one of the band's biggest songs in their career. 'Heavy Is The Crown' is another possibility, knowing that it'll be the focus of their next promo performance the next day in London for the League Of Legends Worlds Opening Ceremony. New single 'Over Each Other' could receive its "live" debut as well here, seeing Emily take the spotlight at a different type of event for the first time with the band. We'll just have to wait and see what happens! Linkin Park's last performance at an award show was in April 2017, when they performed at the ECHO music awards in Berlin, Germany, performing 'Heavy' with Kiiara. The NRJ Music Awards kick off at 9:00pm CET on November 1, 2024 and will be broadcast live on TF1. On top of their performance, the band are also up for the award for Best International Group, up against Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, Måneskin, and OneRepublic. For those outside of France, we'll be seeing if we can find anyway to tune in from abroad so we can watch as well - be sure to follow us on social media (Twitter/X, Instagram, and Facebook) for coverage on the band's upcoming tour dates and the release of From Zero on November 15!
  3. Episode 3 will not take as long, promise 😁
  4. What a lineup. Only problem with this festival is, how can you possibly keep making this sort of lineup a one-day event 😂
  5. Ryan Shuck speaking about the Linkin Park comeback should be put on plaques.
  6. mom, i made it to the sources list 😎
  7. took a few days off due to a number of... events (only the shoutbox will ever know) but I'm back on the mission. Dave "Phoenix" Farrell Rob Bourdon Chester Bennington Emily Armstrong
  8. not mentioned yet but this will also be adding 'Morning After' to streaming (Spotify at least) in addition to the live tracks
  9. Hi y'all, the new era really set off the writer within me so I've been spending some time these past weeks working on some pages we've been putting off of starting for a long time. One such project are pages for the band members, and with the recent shake-up I thought it'd be a good time to write these up and give clarification to the band members' lives and output. I've only started a couple so far (with a lot of the early life/early career info coming from the Xero and Hybrid Theory pages), but I've made enough progress to the point where I wanna open it up to you guys and ask if there's anything I didn't cover that you'd like to see more info on, or if anything is confusing to read. Let me know! Here's what I've got done so far, and who I've yet to get to. WRITTEN: Mike Shinoda Brad Delson Joe Hahn Dave "Phoenix" Farrell - added 10/8 Rob Bourdon - added 10/9 Chester Bennington - added 10/9 Emily Armstrong - added 10/9 Colin Brittain - added 11/5 Alex Feder - added 11/23 TO-DO LIST: Alex Feder plans to update the previous LP/Xero members sections on the Linkin Park page - some may be expanded to a full page Scott Belsha David Garrett Andrew Lanoei Kyle Christener (HT 20th Anniversary lawsuit) Mike Elizondo (Heavy Is The Crown) Mark Wakefield Also planning on adding gear sections (written by Astat) and a personal life/family section to the pages as well after the main parts of each are written Another question I want to ask - should we do pages for other related-bands members? Like the DBS/Grey Daze/FM members & other important people in the band's sphere?
  10. Added all of these. Resolution = early Lost Demo, and The Wizard Song = Resolution, so it's included on the Lost page.
  11. Colin said on his Instagram Live today that they will be coming to Argentina, Mexico, and be playing German festivals in 2025. Indonesia and Singapore too!
  12. the only person who can write the first pre-show post for the return to Mexico is you. they'll ban me if I write it
  13. Joe was a judge on their music reality show Superband (basically The Voice for Korea) so I think he gained (or had) at least some sort of popularity there to be enough to be a whole judge for a season. Not a lot of us on the forums here from this side of the world so I’m not sure what their perspectives are of each member of the band. Also, slight addendum to the post: this show is happening in Incheon, not Seoul. Incheon is a bit further away.
  14. After an incredibly busy month in the Linkin Park world, we have finally reached the final hurdle of the first leg of this awesome marathon. Linkin Park will play their fifth show of the From Zero World Tour tomorrow, September 28, in Incheon, South Korea at the Inspire Arena! This will be the band's first show in Asia since 2015, and their first in South Korea since 2011. The first leg of Linkin Park's From Zero World Tour has certainly been a wild ride! From their first full show back at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, California on September 11 to their most recent endeavor at London's O2 on September 24, Linkin Park has kept us on the edge of our seats trying to keep up with everything going on within the show. The band's most recent show saw them debut Set B to fans in London, with the interludes and intros featuring the bridge chorus of 'Iridescent' and the rotation slot featuring 'Keys To The Kingdom,' after it was dropped in Hamburg in favor of the world premiere of their new single 'Heavy Is The Crown.' Both new songs made their UK debuts, 'The Emptiness Machine' giving Emily Armstrong a moment to connect with the crowd early on in the set and 'Heavy Is The Crown' erupting during the encore, with Emily nearly hitting the full bridge scream before falling over backwards Dead Sara-style, showing that she is definitely getting more and more comfortable with every show! 'Waiting For The End' once again made her quite emotional at this show, but she powered through the tears and delivered a great performance of the track, fans cheering her on after the song ended. The 'One Step Closer' extended outro at this show was also quite fun, Emily changing up the norm by screaming "I'M ABOUT TO FUCKING BREAK!" as the guitar solo kicks in. Both Emily and Colin Brittain have been kicking ass in their new roles, Colin continuing to shine in moments like the 'When They Come For Me' and 'Remember The Name' mashup and in 'Papercut' - those fills he adds in the second verse are so spicy. Tour-Brad Alex Feder continues to deliver as well, unleashing some strong guitar solos throughout the night. And we can't move on without thanking Mike Shinoda for his LPLive shoutout before 'Keys To The Kingdom': "Some of the hardcore fans at sites like LPLive have been wondering what Set B is... show 'em, Emily," to which Emily replied with her first words to our website: "I'll fuckin' show ya." Linkin Park performing 'Keys To The Kingdom' live at the O2 in London on September 24, 2024. Mike shouts us out at the start of this video - if you're reading this, thanks Mike! Linkin Park's return to South Korea is long overdue, with this being their first show there in thirteen years! On top of that, this will be Linkin Park's first show in the continent of Asia since 2015, when they performed five shows in China for the unique The Hunting Party Chinese Tour, which concluded in Beijing on July 26, 2015. Linkin Park's last show in South Korea was on the A Thousand Suns Asian Tour, which wrapped up the touring cycle. They performed at Seoul's Olympic Park Arena on September 8, 2011 for the second stop of the leg, featuring A Thousand Suns rarities like 'Burning In The Skies' and the album interludes like 'The Requiem' and 'Jornada del Muerto.' Prior to this, the band's second show ever in the country occurred at the end of 2007, closing out the band's real touring for the year at the climax of the Minutes To Midnight Asian Tour on November 30. The show got off to an immense start, opening with 'One Step Closer' (still a shock at the time, as 'One Step Closer' was pretty much the only song they closed with for a majority of their career up until that world tour) followed by 'Lying From You,' 'Somewhere I Belong,' 'No More Sorrow,' 'Papercut,' 'Points Of Authority,' 'Wake,' and 'Given Up'... damn. The band kept a good mix of old rarities ('Don't Stay,' the piano version of 'Pushing Me Away') and new tracks like 'Leave Out All The Rest' and 'Shadow Of The Day.' 'The Little Things Give You Away' opened the encore (a fitting song, as two of LPLive's staff members are currently in the path of Category 4 Hurricane Helene), the band leading the crowd in a sing-a-long of Happy Birthday to Brad afterwards. Linkin Park's first show in the country was on the Meteora World Tour, once again closing out their Meteora Asian Tour with a show at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium on October 29, 2003. If you've been keeping up with things these last few years, you may recognize this show, as a full pro-shot recording of it was included in the boxset of the Meteora 20th Anniversary boxset last year! This show captures a great representation of the Meteora cycle, opening with 'Foreword' and 'Don't Stay' before launching right into new songs from Meteora and older tracks from Hybrid Theory. Rarities at this show included 'Figure.09,' 'My December,' 'By Myself,' 'P5hng Me A*wy' from Reanimation, and a full performance of 'Nobody's Listening.' This setlist was the longest the band had ever played up until this point, with nearly 19-songs that included a 3-song encore, only missing a couple songs off of both albums. Linkin Park's history in South Korea may not be as lengthy as other stops on this tour, but it has undoubtedly been important in the band's history - and that is certain to continue at this show. 'Nobody's Listening' live in Seoul, South Korea on October 29, 2003 at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium. A very rare full performance of the song, even for the time! What can we expect to see happen at tonight's show in Incheon? Well, assuming the band has prepared their standard three sets for the tour, we have now seen each of them at least once. London, as mentioned before, featured Set B, with interludes including 'Iridescent' and 'Keys To The Kingdom' as the rotation song. Los Angeles and Hamburg both got Set A, featuring 'Castle Of Glass' in the interludes and 'Lost In The Echo' as the rotation song. Brooklyn on September 16 has been the only performance so far of Set C, which features 'Burn It Down' in the interludes and 'A Place For My Head' in the rotation. Seeing as the band hasn't replayed this set yet and gone through the other two in Europe, it makes it seem that it Set C is the most likely option for South Korea. None of us here at LPLive will be complaining about some more 'A Place For My Head' action on this tour, but if the band decides to surprise us with something new (the unforeseen Set D?!), that'd be even better! For what it's worth, this will likely be the first appearance of "Long" Set C, which is actually the same length but swaps 'Keys To The Kingdom' with 'Heavy Is The Crown.' There will be no opening band at this show, leaving Linkin Park a little extra time perhaps to throw something unexpected into the set! Last time they performed without an opening act (their UK shows at the end of the One More Light European Tour), they added an extra song into their setlist. Linkin Park performing their new song 'Heavy Is The Crown' at London's O2 on September 24, 2024. She really gives it her all during the bridge - she even falls backwards after the scream! Who's going to the show?! Weatherman Rogue S(e)oul here to report a humid and hot day, but with generally clear skies - perfect weather for a show! This is Linkin Park's last show of this leg of the tour, taking October off presumably to recharge and make some promo appearances ahead of their From Zero album release, due on November 15. The band's touring is not done for 2024, however, with recently added dates in November for Paris, Dallas, and São Paulo coming up, as well as the previously announced show in Bogota, Colombia. The next of these shows is Paris, France on November 3, though it is likely that Linkin Park returns to London to perform 'Heavy Is The Crown' at the closing ceremony for Worlds 2024. The song has recently been released as the second single from the album, alongside a music video for the Worlds 2024 games. A new LPTV episode is out, featuring footage from the band's show in Los Angeles at the Kia Forum earlier this month. As always, we'll have updates for you on today's show and everything else going on in the Linkin Park world, and will be bringing it to live here and on social media (Twitter/X, Instagram, and Facebook), so be sure to follow us and sign up on the forums!
  15. Took about 7 years and then an additional hour and a half on top of that, but this page now exists. https://linkinpedia.com/wiki/2017_Touring_Summary
  16. If we can ever get everyone's schedules aligned, we would also love to do episode 2 LOL
  17. 99% sure the person songing in the clip is a guy called Mako who I believe sang songs for the last season of Arcane. Probably had him do a trailer/interlude version for the show, like the New Divide version for Alita: Battle Angel a few years ago. I IMAGINE thats what’s the version listed on the Arcane soundtrack? Maybe they do have another version
  18. Iridescent over tonight's interludes. We've got Set B tonight!
  19. From the website: LPU Legacy: "PASSPORT PLUS MEMBERSHIPS PURCHASED BY AUGUST 24, 2024, ARE LABELED "LEGACY" AND WILL HAVE THIS PRIORITY PRE-SALE" LPU Passport Plus: "PASSPORT PLUS MEMBERSHIPS PURCHASED STARTING SEPTEMBER 5TH, 2024, AND ONWARDS WILL HAVE ACCESS TO THIS EXCLUSIVE PRE-SALE"

  22. Ahead of days of teasing (and years of "COME TO BRAZIL"), Linkin Park has announced more tour dates for November 2024! This includes their return to Brazil on November 15, 2024 - the same day that From Zero is unleashed upon the world! Fans in Brazil will be treated to the From Zero Album Release Show this November for Linkin Park's big comeback in the country after over 7 years. The band will also be performing the Paris La Défense Arena in Paris, France, and to the Globe Life Field baseball stadium Dallas, Texas - some of the biggest shows the band has ever headlined in these cities! From Zero World Tour - November November 3, 2024 - Nanterre, France (Paris La Défense Arena) * November 8, 2024 - Dallas, Texas (Globe Life Field) ^ November 11, 2024 - Bogota, Colombia (Coliseo Medplus) November 15, 2024 - São Paulo, Brazil (Allianz Parque) - From Zero Album Release Show * - support from Sleep Token ^ - support from Bad Omens, Jean Dawson, and Helmet Tickets are available on LinkinPark.com. LPU Pre-sales begin Wednesday, September 25 at 10am local time (Legacy Pre-Sale at 10am, Passport Plus at 12pm). If you have been signed up for the LPU since before August 24, you have access to the Legacy pre-sale. If you joined since September 5, you can access the Passport Plus presale. General Sale begins on Friday, September 27 at 10am local time. This will be Linkin Park's first appearance in Brazil since 2017's One More Light World Tour, where they closed their South American leg at the very start of the tour with an appearance at the Maximus Festival in São Paulo on May 5, 2017. Their last headlining show in the country was in 2014 on the Living Things World Tour, on October 12, 2012 in Porto Alegre. Nearly 12 years since Brazil had a proper Linkin Park show, and the first time a Linkin Park album release has been celebrated outside of the USA with a proper release show ever! In Brazil nonetheless. This is bound to be a legendary show. Rumors for more South American dates this year have been rife, with more rumored dates in Chile and Argentina still brewing. Another rumor for the Viña Del Mar Festival in Chile in February 2025 has been going around, making it seem very likely the band returns to the continent again next year if not this year. The band is currently wrapping up the first run of shows of this world tour, performing today in London and later this week in Seoul before taking October off (presumably for promo appearances for the upcoming album) and ultimately heading to Colombia on November 11 for their first show in the country, which sold out nearly immediately - perhaps this demand from that show is what led to more South American tour dates being considered for 2024! The Paris show was also in the rumor mill for the last week, but has now been officially announced. As always, stay caught up with us on social media (Twitter/X, Instagram, and Facebook) for the latest updates on Linkin Park's upcoming tour (including today's show in London!) and other ventures, and sign up on the forums and share your thoughts with the community (we don't bite)!
  23. Added this and Chile 2025
  24. Linkin Park have returned, and they simply have not stopped giving. The From Zero World Tour is over halfway through its first run of shows, the fourth show taking place at the iconic O2 in London, England on September 24, 2024. What does Linkin Park have in store next for Europe and the fans? Let's get into it. The first three shows of this trek have been nothing short of an adventure. From the very first show on September 5 at the LPU livestream event in Los Angeles, California to the most recent in Hamburg, Germany at the Barclays Arena on September 22, every show has has the whole fanbase watching closely. Hamburg - Linkin Park's first European show in seven years, since Chester's passing - featured what the band called "Long Set A," which wasn't really any much longer than the original Set A that they played at the first full show at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, California, but did feature one major difference: instead of deep cut 'Keys To The Kingdom,' the band performed the second world premiere of the cycle with the thrilling 'Heavy Is The Crown' live debut. Featuring Emily Armstrong with some of her finest heavy vocals yet, the band really fires off on all cylinders here. The new song from From Zero features some rapid rap verses from Mike, some The Hunting Party reminiscent choruses, and a heavy Meteora-type bridge featuring a ten-second scream from Emily! Every track we hear makes us even more excited for the record - what did you think of the song? It's coming out tomorrow, September 24 as the anthem of the League Of Legends Worlds 2024 championship, which, if you haven't noticed, is the day of this show! Besides that, the rest of Set A stayed intact, with the interludes and intros featuring lyrics from 'Castle Of Glass' and 'Lost In The Echo' being performed in the rotation slot (with some excellent work by Colin Brittain, might I add). The question still remains: what will Set B contain? We've seen Set A (Los Angeles) and Set C (Brooklyn, New York on September 16) main differences between sets have been the song lyrics used in the interludes and intro (in Set A, 'Castle Of Glass' is used, while 'Burn It Down' is used in Set C) and the rotation slot. Set A features 'Lost In The Echo' being performed for the first time in its entirety since January 2014, and Set C features 'A Place For My Head,' a legendary live song. Europe have introduced the "Long" sets, which seem to just swap 'Keys to The Kingdom' with 'Heavy Is The Crown.' The first question is, which song will be used for the intros of Set B? The other two are both singles from Living Things, which props up the likes of 'Lost In The Echo' or perhaps 'Powerless,' which would be a first for the latter. 'Roads Untraveled' has been used as an intro previously in 2017, which makes it another possibility. They could break the trend and pick another song from the discography outside the album as well, and they've been breaking trends this with pretty much everything with this cycle. The other, probably far more important question, is what song will be in the rotation slot. The other "regular" rotations from the past like 'Lying From You,' 'Points Of Authority,' and 'Papercut' all have firm positions in the set, leaving few options outside tracks like 'From The Inside' or maybe redemption for 'Keys To The Kingdom' and The Hunting Party. The could dig into the deep cuts and whip out an old jam like 'No More Sorrow,' 'Figure.09,' or 'Blackout,' but that may be raising the bar too high. Anything is possible with this new lineup now, though, and we're excited to find out! Let us know your guesses for both, and hopefully we'll see the debut of Set B in London and get all the questions answered! LPLive member sckofelng's video of the world premiere of 'Heavy Is The Crown' from Hamburg, Germany on September 22, 2024. More of his videos are being uploaded to the LPLive YouTube channel tonight, so keep checking back! It's no shock that Linkin Park is returning to the United Kingdom on their first trek back, as they've had many important moments here over their career: some of the final shows with Chester in July 2017, the legendary Milton Keynes show that was filmed for 2008's Road To Revolution featuring Jay-Z, and Hybrid Theory being performed in its entirety at Download 2014 are just a few of the huge moments the band has had in the country in their career. With this being their 28th appearance in the just London overall (not counting 2008's London, Ontario show), we have a lot to cover. Let's go back to the most recent shows, where the band performed two back-to-back nights at The O2 at the end of the tour One More Light European Tour in July 2017, the first at the arena and the second at the legendary Academy Brixton. The band performed a longer setlist at these shows due to having no opening act, making it their longest shows in the careers up until that point. The first show, July 3, 2017, featured a lot of goodies from One More Light, including 'Invisible' and a special 'Sharp Edges.' A rare 'Hands Held High' verse preceded 'Invisible,' making it the first time since August 2009 that the song had been performed like that and the first time since June 2014 that the song had featured in a set, where it was part of Mike's original Solo Medley. 'Good Goodbye' was performed for the first time in its entirety after being performed as a shortened version prior, because Stormzy was there to perform his own verse. 'From The Inside' was added after 'New Divide' to make up for some more time, and 'Somewhere I Belong' featured in the normal rotation slot. The next show on July 4, billed as One More Night in London, saw Stormzy come back out and 'Points Of Authority' and 'A Place For My Head' in the rotation spots. 'Faint' closed the second show, swapping spots with 'Bleed It Out,' the latter having a verse of the rare Xero song 'Reading My Eyes' over the extended bridge. Jon Green also came out for 'Nobody Can Save Me' for the first time - fans will remember him as the hero in the shadows of the band's performance at the band's Hollywood Bowl Chester Tribute. The band visited the city earlier on in the year for the One More Light Promotional Tour, with Mike and Chester making some appearances at YouTube Music Space and Warner Bros Records to drop some Q&As and some piano performances of songs like 'Heavy' and 'Battle Symphony.' Linkin Park topped off their The Hunting Party European Tour with two back-to-back performances in London's O2 as well in 2014. Night one on November 23 featured many Hunting Party specials right off the grill, like 'Guilty All The Same,' 'Rebellion,' and 'Final Masquerade.' This set featured a full performance of 'With You,' the 2014 version of Collision Course's 'Dirt Off Your Shoulder/Lying From You,' and 'Somewhere I Belong,' as well as a 'Points Of Authority' rap between 'New Divide' and 'Until It's Gone' in the encore. The next show on November 24 closed out the tour, saw 'Points Of Authority' and 'With You' get swapped in positions, and 'Crawling' was performed in the encore at a shortened and sped-up version. As the band missed the U.K. on the Living Things World Tour, these were also the first performances of songs like 'Burn It Down,' 'Lost In The Echo,' and 'Castle Of Glass' in the country. Linkin Park performing 'Good Goodbye' in its entirety for the second time ever with Stormzy live in London, England on July 4, 2017. The band was no stranger to London during the A Thousand Suns World Tour, however. With three total performances there during the cycle, all featured the band at their best at the time. The iconic iTunes Festival 2011 performance was the last on the cycle for the country, featuring well-tuned A Thousand Suns tracks like 'Iridescent' and 'Waiting For The End,' as well as a special performance of Adele's 'Rolling In The Deep' by Mike and Chester. The full show was webcast, and selections from the show were released as a Live EP on iTunes. The band topped off their first European Tour of the cycle in 2010 with another set of back-to-back nights at the O2 Arena (it's quite shocking, frankly, that this 2024 show isn't a back-to-back set). The first show on November 10 saw the band open with 'The Requiem' and 'The Radiance,' before blasting into fresh tracks like 'Wretches and Kings' and 'When They Come For Me.' The second show on November 11 was the site of the very first LPU Summit, a tradition we'd like to see return on the upcoming tour! Earlier in the day, the band treated LPU members to an exclusive behind-the-scenes event, taking questions and even letting fans check out the stage. An assortment of Brad, Mike, and Chester performed acoustic versions of 'Leave Out All The Rest' and 'The Messenger,' before the show that night treated fans to an opening of 'Fallout' and 'The Catalyst' for the very first time. 'From The Inside' was also brought back at this show after being soundchecked earlier in the day. Unsurprisingly, the band ended their Winter Minutes To Midnight European Tour in January 2008 with two shows at the O2. The first night on January 28 featured Set T, which opened explosively with 'What I've Done' with its AMBO Intro into 'Faint,' 'No More Sorrow,' 'Somewhere I Belong,' 'Lying From You,' 'From The Inside,' and 'Points Of Authority.' Holy shit. Other highlights of the show include rare performances of 'Valentine's Day,' a full 'Hands Held High,' 'My December,' and a rare and brief cover of Rihanna's 'Umbrella' by Mike on piano. The second night on January 29 opened with 'No More Sorrow' and 'Don't Stay,' which is just as filthy. 'The Little Things Give You Away' and 'In Between' rounded out the night's goodies. The band played a number of promotional appearances before the album came out in May 2007, including a full intimate show at the Astoria, treating fans to previously unheard tracks like 'Given Up' and 'No More Sorrow.' The DSP recording of the band's first night in London on January 28, 2008. The first seven songs of this show is a simply insane run for any band. The Meteora World Tour did not feature any back-to-back nights in the city, but they did visit on multiple occasions. The band exploded in the Wembley Arena in November 2003, featuring a special setlist with 'Breaking The Habit' fresh off its live debut, a mashup version of 'Nobody's Listening' (that we only recently discovered), and a full 'It's Goin' Down.' 'Papercut' opened the show with a new intro, while 'My December' and Reanimation's 'P5hng Me A*wy' opened the encore. The band played a show there before the album came out during the LP Underground Tour in March 2003, dusting off new Meteora tracks and delivering rare performances of 'Hit The Floor' and 'Easier To Run.' The band made a number of promo appearances around this time, including an appearance on Top Of The Pops and CD:UK/Headliners, which both featured even rarer performances of 'A.06,' with Chester singing part of Deftones' 'My Own Summer (Shove It)' over it at Top Of The Pops. The band also played 'A.06' at their show that summer ahead of their appearance at Reading and Leeds at the Kerrang! Awards which was also held in London. Something about the city really brought that song out of them at the time! Linkin Park played seven shows in 2001 alone in London on the Hybrid Theory World Tour. In September 2001, the band played a legendary headlining show at Docklands Arena, a recording of which we released in 2012 for our 6th anniversary and has since become a legendary recording amongst the hardcore fanbase. Though they dropped 'Step Up' from this show, the set was full with big moments like 'High Voltage,' 'And One,' 'By Myself,' and a tease of Guns 'n' Roses' 'Sweet Child O' Mine' before 'One Step Closer.' The band played a set for BBC Radio One's Lamacq Live show, performing Hybrid Theory almost its entirety and out of order, subbing in 'High Voltage' for 'Cure For The Itch.' Before the that, the band ended their globe-spanning US-To-Europe Tour in June 2001 at their first show at the Brixton Academy, which featured the live debut of Chester's 'Morning After,' which he performed acoustically to open the encore. The song would later become a Dead By Sunrise song. The set opened with a huge combo of 'A Place For My Head' and 'Forgotten,' and had the last performance of 'Cure For The Itch' until 2007. Linkin Park opened for the Deftones' 'Back To School' Tour at the Docklands Arena in March 2001, winning fans over with a set that opened with an eruption of 'With You' and 'Runaway.' The band's very first show in England was in London in January 2001, delivering a set at TUTU's with featured raw performances of 'By Myself' and 'In The End.' The band also did a BBC Radio One Evening Session set a night later. This legendary video of Linkin Park performing 'High Voltage' at the Docklands Arena in London, England on September 16, 2001 will never get old. This will be the last stop of the tour that grandson opens, and while his presence will be sorely missed going forward, his mark will not be forgotten and he'll definitely deliver once again in London! This man is just as excited as all of us are for the return of Linkin Park, asking fans at each show, "are you ready to be a part of music history tonight... Are you ready for the return for the greatest show in music, Linkin Park?!" grandson opens with part of Mike's 'Running From My Shadow' from Post Traumatic which he featured on, and was part of his come-up in 2018. He then blasts through some of his bigger songs like '6:00' and the Shinoda-produced 'Riptide' before taking a slower moment with his song 'Heather,' dedicating it to Chester and everyone who couldn't be here with us to experience the return of Linkin Park. He closes out with his massive 'Blood // Water' before joining fans in the pit to jam out to Linkin Park! Who's going to the show?! LPLive staff member PEPPEPARK will be in the crowd, so if you see him be sure to say hi! Weatherman Rogue Soul reporting a cloudy day with some chillier temperatures, so stay comfy but be ready to jam! If you missed it yesterday, the official merchandise booth will be open again before the show outside the venue from 1pm. As of right now this is the band's last European show on the schedule before they head off to Asia to wrap up their September run of shows in Seoul, South Korea on September 28. However, rumors are popping up that more tour dates are following, popping up around the sole Colombia date on November 11. Rumors state that Paris, France may have a show on November 3, and the band may appear to perform 'Heavy Is The Crown' at the Worlds 2024 closing ceremony in London on November 2, perhaps booking some more dates around that period in the continent. Rumors are also rife for South America, with shows possible in Brazil, Argentina, and Chile around the same time. 'Heavy Is The Crown' drops tomorrow, September 24, and Linkin Park's new album From Zero is out November 15. We'll have updates for you on the show, and will be bringing it to live here and on social media (Twitter/X, Instagram, and Facebook), so be sure to follow us and sign up on the forums!
  25. Hey guys, with all the tour rumors popping up I thought I'd make a thread like I used to do and try to piece together the band's upcoming tour schedule by looking at where they may be playing. Will be interesting to see how much of this turns out to be true at the end of it all! If you have anything, post it in the thread with a source. If there's anything big we'll make a separate Newswire post about it, as well.
