  1. What was slated to be Linkin Park's first show in the United States next year has just been cancelled. The Sick New World festival in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 12, 2025 has been officially cancelled by the promoters. No official reason beyond "unforeseen circumstances" was given as to the cancellation, but the nearly $500 ticket prices for a bit-too-packed lineup for a one-day festival may have played a role. Linkin Park's first show of their U.S. leg will now be on April 26, 2025 in Austin, Texas. This gives the band a bit of an extended break, now with over two months off between the Asian Leg and U.S. Leg 1, which will be the longest break the band has pretty much all year. The band still have two more festival appearances planned for the United States (Florida's Welcome To Rockville and Ohio's Sonic Temple) that do not seem to be signaling for any cancellations. The first cancelled date of the From Zero and Emily/Colin era! Perhaps not a great milestone, but it's one we're at nonetheless. Certainly better circumstances than last time we had cancelled dates. No news on whether or not Linkin Park will plan to perform in Nevada or Las Vegas sometime in the next year, but if they do, we'll have the news for ya first.
  2. With the 2025 From Zero World Tour announcement, a handful of dates were announced without a venue being finalized yet - namely Jakarta, Indonesia and the whole South American leg. The first announcement of those venues has come, with Linkin Park coming to the Gelora Bung Karno Madya Stadium on February 16, 2025! LPU Legacy Pre-sale: Monday, Dec 2 at 10AM (Local Time) LPU Passport Plus Pre-sale: Monday, Dec 2 at 12PM (Local Time) General On-sale: Thursday, Dec 5 at 10AM (Local Time) Tickets and more info at linkinparkinjakarta2025.com.
  3. be thankful you aren't the one who has to watch all of them and add the one snippet of actual new information to the Linkinpedia pages
  4. With the most interesting page yet, I present the Alex Feder page. Somehow mentioned everyone from Justin Timberlake, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Melania Trump in this lol All LP band members now have a page on Linkinpedia! Will get busy on the older member's bios as well as members of other bands (Mike's PT Tour, Fort Minor, Dead By Sunrise, etc.) slowly but surely.
  5. Wow funny enough we are literally talking to each other right now about making the Alex page lmao! Will be up soon, might make a whole separate post now that I've written up all the main member's band pages. And for the record, my quick 10 minute research yielded a lot of stuff I did not know about this guy, so the page will be pretty long for sure!
  6. This interview is a gold mine. Took like two and a half hours to go through and add the information to all the Linkinpedia pages, but wow. This guy let Mike go on his tangents and that gave us exactly what we wanted LOL. Emily looks wonderful here, might I add. For those who wanna do some reading, I updated these pages on Linkinpedia: From Zero (album), IGYEIH, Heavy Is The Crown, The Emptiness Machine, Casualty, and Two Faced. FZ album page has a lot of new information on Emily and Colin joining and their dynamic as the new members of the band.
  7. 1 Brooklyn pit ticket and 3x for me and my friends (who’ve never seen the band) for the Newark pit! will pick up more along the way (as the paychecks keep coming in…) who will I be jamming with there?
  8. LPU presales begin tomorrow! be sure to check the show you're planning to go to if there's any alternate schedule. check your accounts for your pre-sale code. using some sneaky Inspect Element tools, I found a price range (without Ticketmaster fees) for some of the US shows: Baltimore: $59.50 - $184.50 Newark: $65.50 - $190.50 LA: $59.50 - $249.50 Philly: $59.50 - $199.50 Nashville: $51.75 - $176.75
  9. With one LPU code you can buy 6 tickets total (meaning 6 across multiple shows)
  10. 💛 appreciate you for reading my fellow New Jerseyan. doing it for the fans
  11. One of my best friends lives in Boston now and I've been meaning to visit him, so this'll be the perfect excuse. Might have to be in the pit as a result lol
  12. Ah yes! We were in a rush to skedaddle because we were going to the 30STM concert at MSG after lol. Will properly meet up again next year!
  13. Lots of stuff out today. Linkin Park : "Nous sommes reconnaissants envers les fans" - NRJ, November 14, 2024 Linkin Park Track by Track Playlist - Amazon Music, November 15, 2024 Linkin Park | Mike Shinoda & Emily Armstrong, New Album "From Zero", Chester Bennington - YouTube, November 15, 2024 Linkin Park examines their DNA as they kick into the 'FROM ZERO' era - KROQ, November 15, 2024
  14. Brazil, you never fail to impress. And we're certain that you guys will keep on giving, because it's time for night two of Linkin Park live at Allianz Parque in São Paulo, Brazil today, November 16, 2024! Linkin Park's first show at Allianz Parque was a day of celebration for fans all over the world. November 15, 2024 also happened to be From Zero release day, making the show the album release show! And the band knew exactly how to celebrate: give the fans a live debut on livestream for both the fans in the stadium and home to go crazy over! That's right, the band debuted 'Two Faced' during Act 1 of the set, which was streamed live from their YouTube channel. Joe scratched to some an ominous, slowed-down vocal before the song kicked in, before launching straight into the song, both Mike and Emily bringing their best energy to the stage. Mike encouraged fans to start some pits during the extended bridge, and they certainly followed suit. The stream ended after a hearty performance of 'The Emptiness Machine,' but not before flashing an announcement that the show will be filmed and broadcast in theaters worldwide next year! Luckily, the Brazilian TV channel Multishow broadcast the rest of the show for Brazilian viewers, giving us more insight to what happened for the rest of the show. Nothing too surprising happened for the rest of the show as the band worked their way through the setlist, but that didn't make any moment of the show any less special. In fact, it was one of the best shows yet, with the crowd itself influencing parts of the show. Mike's solo mashup of 'When They Come For Me' and 'Remember The Name' ended with Mike joining the crowd in a sing-a-long of the 'When They Come For Me' chorus, in which he remarked afterwards, "I have a confession to make: Dave and I have always wished that we had some kind of song that was good enough to be a football chant." The band burst straight into a thrilling performance of 'Casualty' afterwards. Another memorable moment was a particularly beautiful performance of 'My December,' leaving most of the crowd (and us at home) in tears. Check out the full livestream recording of Linkin Park's first night in São Paulo, Brazil on November 15, 2024! It's possible this is the same version of the show that'll be shown in theaters next year. The band was clearly having a lot of fun during the show, clear after 'Numb' when Mike joked around with Joe: "Look man, I'm just having fun up here! I can't help if my hands want to play extra notes... I'm that guy sometimes, I can't help it. The best part is that this is like livestreamed, too. There are people watching. It's not just these guys. Oh, that's fun! On this next one, we want to hear every voice out here. If you're watching at home you can sing into your fucking computer? You can sing into your phone and record it and show us online later." During 'Lost In The Echo' (which was played during the encore at this show), Emily picked up a pair of Brazilian flags, draping one over Mike and one over her mic stand. And finally, during Mike's first verse of 'Bleed It Out,' Phoenix stole his guitar picks and then tried offering it back to Mike just to annoy him. Mike picked up a friendship bracelet from the ground during the second verse. Mike then rapped 'A Place For My Head' verse one over the extended bridge while starting straight down Mr. Hahn's camera. One of the best parts of this era has been how much the band themselves seem to be freer than ever and are having so much fun onstage again! The show's conclusion was marked by an epic fireworks show above the stadium as they took their final bows and said goodbye. For this show, it's hard to say what could happen! With Live In Texas, the DVD was composed of shots and recordings from the two shows they played in Texas on the Summer Sanitarium tour, so it's possible that this show will also be recorded for the live film if they plan on releasing a differently cut version. If such is the case, it's possible they play the exact same setlist again: Set A2 with 'Castle Of Glass' interludes and 'Lost In The Echo' in the rotation spot. If not, Set B remains the only set to get a run in South America so far, with 'Keys To The Kingdom' as a rotation. The last Set B was the debut of 'All For Nothing' in Arlington, Texas and had 'Keys To The Kingdom' dropped for time, so this may be the first performance of the proper set. Maybe they'll sub in a different The Hunting Party song again - but that could be wishful thinking. Who's heading to the show? If you want to read up on the band's live history in Brazil, check out the previous pre-show post for night one (it seems like it would be a bit superfluous to give the same history lecture two posts in a row). Weatherman Rogue Soul here to report pretty much the same wet and humid conditions as yesterday, though it'll be a bit warmer. No official livestream for this show sadly, but we'll still have you covered with updates on social media (Twitter/X, Instagram, and Facebook), so be sure to follow us! This is the band's last show of the month, but they have one more for the year before resting up before a very busy 2025: the Soundstorm Festival in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on December 12, 2024. The band have dropped some new merch along with From Zero on their official store, so check that out, too. If you've listened to the album, be sure to leave your reviews in our discussion thread! Tickets for Linkin Park's 2025 From Zero World Tour go on sale next week, so be sure to check the dates near you to see if you can make it when the band hits your country!
  15. New merch following the release of From Zero has been pushed to the Linkin Park store! This merch drop includes a couple of new t-shirts, pullovers, and a hoodie featuring more "liquid" designs with the new logo and other visuals. A number of accessories are included, including socks, a beanie, coasters, a tote bag, a canvas flag, a sticker pack, and even a beer koozie! Shop through the new collection on Linkin Park's official store. Anyone planning on purchasing anything? I know I'm old now because I have my eyes on the socks and coasters 😅 Keep in mind Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales are coming up in two weeks (spoken like a true retail worker), so there may be some deals (likely on the older items, however) coming up later on.
  16. Should be fine. Maybe it gets taken down when the film comes out if it's the same exact feed but I sort of doubt it will be. Should be fine to upload to YouTube.
  17. Past the show now, but no it wouldn't be. We do it ourselves too
  18. Just announced during Linkin Park's livestream in São Paulo, Linkin Park will be releasing a live film of their From Zero release show in São Paulo to theaters in 2025! This will be the band's first proper Live Film since 2008's Road To Revolution. Along the way, other live recordings like Berlin 2012 for Living Things + and One More Light Live (audio release) have come out, but nothing really to this degree has been released by the band in a long time. The Living Things + show was shown in theaters in the United States in June 2012, the same month the show occurred. This release will likely be a different edit to the Multishow stream, or at least a polished up version of it. The Living Things + showing was also livestreamed, and the theatrical version was just about the same as the livestream version. It's hard to say what the precedent is at the moment, but as we get more information on this, we'll bring it to you!
  19. Very strong chance I'll be there. Can't believe after all these years I haven't properly met you - hope to see ya there! here's what I'm thinking for myself. With the possibility of 2 nights at Brooklyn and Newark (2 nights of Linkin Park in Newark is insane, btw), 2025 might look like this for me: Mexico City? Baltimore Welcome To Rockville? Brooklyn N1 Brooklyn N2* Boston Newark N1 Newark N2* Philadelphia Nashville? Los Angeles? last time LP toured and the LPLive crew did their multi-show US tour runs I was like 14/15. I'll be 25 in January, ready to get fucked up and jam out with you guys next year all over the place
  20. I can try but I also have three different social media sites to post updates on about this AND the other livestream, so I'll see if its feasible for me to do so! EDIT: should be able to watch it for free and without signing up here: https://megacanaisonline.com/canal/assistir-multshow-tvonline/
  21. I'm running my VPN to Brazil and set my city to a random Brazilian town when I signed up, so far it looks like it's working. Updating the main thread with the link
  22. two separate livestreams. Linkin Park’s ends after TEM on their YouTube channel worldwide. Globo livestream is hosted on a completely separate website and may just be a completely different broadcast, and possibly on available within Brazil
  23. What a fantastic day to be a Linkin Park fan. As I write this, Linkin Park's first album in seven years is only hours away from being released here in humble New Jersey, and even though much of the world is finally hearing the record for the first time, there is little time to step away from LPLive coverage. And that's because on top of the release of the long-awaited From Zero album, Linkin Park have COME TO BRAZIL. The band celebrate the release of their new record From Zero with two sold-out shows at São Paulo's Allianz Parque, the first of which goes down Friday, November 15, 2024, for their first headlining show in Brazil since 2012, and you can join in on the action with not one, but two livestreams! We'll get more into that soon... Linkin Park began their short South American run of 2024 shows with their first performance ever in Colombia, at Bogotá's Coliseo Medplus on November 11, 2024. The beautiful fans in Colombia finally got to experience the magic of a Linkin Park show in their own country, as they brought new hits like 'Heavy Is The Crown' and 'Over Each Other' and old classics like 'Somewhere I Belong' and 'In The End' to the packed arena. The band continued their streak of not playing the same set twice, continuing to adjust the setlist by moving the normal rotation slow down into the encore, meaning Bogotá got a rare encore performance of 'A Place For My Head' to top things all off. 'Casualty' replaced 'Given Up' in the setlist - a fair trade given how heavy a toll either song must take on Emily's voice! Mike even rapped a verse of 'There They Go' by Fort Minor over the extended bridge of 'Bleed It Out' to give the fans of Colombia one final treat. Perhaps the most special moment of the show, however, came as a result of technical difficulties. The sound system seemed like its countdown hit zero during the second chorus of 'The Emptiness Machine,' when almost everything seemed to malfunction. The band carried through the song (likely unaware of the issue), but despite the issues the crowd in Bogotá sang even louder to make up for the lost instruments. After a few minutes of idling around for the sound issues to be resolved, the band got things back up, and delivered a second, proper performance of the song. It's things like this that can only happen live, and everyone from the band to the crowd seemed to have a good attitude about it! Linkin Park's full show in Bogotá, Colombia on November 11, 2024. South America has always been incredible to Linkin Park, and this year is no exception. But Brazil always takes things a step further, which we're going to see in action once again in São Paulo. Linkin Park's last venture to Brazil was in 2017, closing the first leg of the One More Light Tour in South America with a second appearance at the Maximus Festival in São Paulo. The band brought brand new tracks to the stage for the first time on that run, including 'Good Goodbye' and 'Talking To Myself,' and made sure to open the show with a bang with the beloved 'Fallout' and 'Roads Untraveled' mashup intro leading straight into 'The Catalyst.' The band's prior shows in Brazil didn't go quite as planned like the Maximus Festival show did, though. The band performed two stops on the Circuito Banco do Brasil in 2014 in Belo Horizonte and Brasília as part of The Hunting Party Tour, and were plagued with technical issues at the first show in Belo Horizonte. Songs like 'Burn It Down' and 'Final Masquerade' were littered with issues, 'Burn It Down' in particular being quite a messy performance. The second night in Brasilía went much smoother, and after having being dropped due to issues the night before, the 'Castle Of Glass Experience' received an update with the speeches from 'The Radiance' by Robert J. Oppenheimer and 'Wisdom, Justice, and Love' by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Brazilian fans were also treated to some of the new tracks off of The Hunting Party like 'Guilty All The Same' and 'Until It's Gone.' The band's last (and first) headlining appearances in the country were in 2012 on the Living Things World Tour. The band made four stops in Brazil: São Paulo, two nights at Rio de Janeiro's Citibank Hall, and Porto Alegre. The band performed all three sets they had rotating through these stops in Brazil, giving fans a full taste of the Living Things Tour. Across three sets included unforgettable moments, such as 'A Place For My Head' opening Set B and 'With You' preceded by the Game Of Thrones theme music opening Set C. Rare Living Things tracks like 'In My Remains' and 'Victimized (w/ QWERTY)' were also played. In 2010, right at the start of the A Thousand Suns World Tour, the band made a few festival stops in South America, including the Starts With You - Music and Arts festival in Itú. The band unleashed brand new songs like 'Wretches and Kings' and 'When They Come For Me,' while also gracing Brazilian fans with their first tastes of Minutes To Midnight tracks like 'No More Sorrow' and 'Shadow Of The Day.' 'Bleed It Out' returned as the closing song after 'What I've Done' closed out the first few shows, and Mike sang the chorus of 'Burning In The Skies' over the bridge. Linkin Park played their very first show in Brazil in 2004 as the last stop of the whole Meteora World Tour, performing at the Chimera Music Festival. Sadly, no recordings of this show exist, but we know the band opened the pits up that night by giving Brazilians the nastiest set they had ever seen, including the 'Blood, Anger, Suffering' outro transition between 'Figure.09' and 'From The Inside,' the Hip-Hop Medley featuring parts of 'Step Up,' 'Nobody's Listening,' and 'It's Goin' Down,' and even a cover of 'Wish' by Nine Inch Nails to over 80,000 people in São Paulo - their biggest show yet up until that point! Brazil has always had an important place in Linkin Park's heart and history, and there is no doubt that continues tonight. Perhaps the single most disastrous performance in Linkin Park history: the infamous 'Burn It Down' from the Circuito Banco do Brasil show in Belo Horizonte in 2014. At this point, anything you can actually dream of happening could be a real possibility in Linkin Park's current form. Their last few shows have broken a lot of precedents - doing things that the previous lineup simply never would've even considered. At one show alone, in Arlington, Texas on November 8, the band debuted a song live after ten years with its original guest ('All For Nothing' with Page Hamilton) as well as a world premiere of a non-prerelease track in 'Casualty.' And even outside of the live stratosphere, the band have been breaking walls down by shadow-dropping a new single called 'Two Faced,' which is perhaps their most Hybrid Theory/Meteora sounding song they've done since... well, Meteora. What's even more exciting is Emily commented on Linkin Park's post about the release: "Let’s play this song live tomorrow! 🇧🇷" All signs are pointing to Brazil getting something incredibly spicy at this show, whether it be a live debut or the revival of an old, forgotten song. Songs like 'No More Sorrow' or 'From The Inside' would be welcome surprises as a rotation song, or perhaps another cut from The Hunting Party, and with two nights in the same city, the band is bound to flip things up a little bit. What are your best guesses as to what'll go down tonight for the release show? Is 'Two Faced' going to be the only addition, or are they hiding more up their sleeves? The 'Casualty' live debut in Arlington, Texas on November 8, 2024. 'Casualty' is a definite in these upcoming sets - will the 'Two Faced' live debut hit just as much? Luckily, you'll be able to find out for yourself as this show will be livestreamed! There are actually two livestreams confirmed for the show: a limited livestream hosted by Linkin Park themselves and a full broadcast from the Brazilian channel Multishow, streaming via Globo. Linkin Park's stream can be accessed via their YouTube channel, and will also be linked below. The description reads, "Join us for Act 1 from our show," likely meaning their stream will go up until 'The Emptiness Machine' - perhaps something else will be shown after? When that ends, we can head to the Multishow/Globo livestream to keep up with the rest of the show. According to a comment by an LPLive member, it may be behind a paywall for those outside of Brazil, however. No matter what, an account will be needed to watch it via the Globe website, so if you plan on trying to watch the stream through there, be sure to sign up and be prepared. A countdown to the livestreams can be found on the YouTube video for Linkin Park's stream, and the Multishow stream can be accessed here. EDIT: You should be able to watch the full livestream from Brazil for free and without signing up from this link. Who's going to the show?! LPLive staff member lpliveusername will be there - hopefully he doesn't melt the whole place down himself! Weatherman Rogue Soul reporting in a cloudy and humid day with otherwise warm temperature, so be ready to escape the muggy weather in the venue and stay hydrated! Linkin Park have a second night in São Paulo tomorrow as well, so expect a lot of news to come out of Brazil in the next few days. The band will be back next year as well, having just announced their 2025 From Zero World Tour dates across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. The band has one more show for the year before they pack things up, take things easy, and get some rest before a very busy touring schedule in 2025: the freshly announced Soundstorm Festival will bring the band to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for the first time in their career on December 12. With the new record finally out, we can't wait to be back on board, getting ready for tour, and bringing you guys updates on all the crazy moments going on at every single show. Be sure to follow us on social media (Twitter/X, Instagram, and Facebook) for the latest updates from the band and their upcoming shows, and sign up on the forums to join the discussion! The new album From Zero is available now!
  24. Today truly gave Linkin Park fans a shock with the announcement of the 2025 From Zero World Tour, and they slipped perhaps an even more surprising show announcement under the radar - they will be performing in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for the new Soundstorm Festival, alongside other headliners Eminem, Muse, and Tyler, The Creator! The band will play on the first night of the festival - Thursday, December 12, 2024 (this year)! The festival features a lot of electronic acts and DJs with rock artists mixed in - friends of the Linkin Park family including Thirty Seconds To Mars and Steve Aoki will be on the bill with them on the other days, so seeing a collaboration onstage isn't too far-fetched either! Perhaps Jared Leto will come out and perform a single with them ('In The End' would be fun, and Thirty Seconds To Mars have covered part of 'Crawling' before), and we all know that Steve Aoki could mean the potential revival of 'A Light That Never Comes' or even 'Darker Than Blood' - or both! After the band debuted 'All For Nothing' with Page Hamilton in Arlington, Texas earlier this month, we now know that we should always be expecting the unexpected on this world tour. And of course, the band will be headlining on the same day as Eminem, who will presumably be playing at the same time. But will a long-awaited collaboration between the two artists finally be possible? Linkin Park has not performed in the Middle East since 2010's A Thousand Suns Tour, where they played shows in Israel (which featured the famous mashup of 'The Messenger' and Bob Marley's 'No Woman, No Cry') and the United Arab Emirates. Mike Shinoda also visited Israel with two shows in Tel Aviv on his Post Traumatic Tour in 2019. This'll definitely be a very interesting and telling show for the band - how will they be received here? It should be noted that Saudi Arabia's clothing policies have been relaxed in recent years as they try to expand their tourism industry with sports and entertainment - WWE hosts a myriad of events in the city, including women's events, where they can compete while wearing long sleeves and covering up their legs. There are still some rules to follow, but the country has become much more lax on this side of things in recent years, and Emily's normal attire should be more than admissible. So for everyone worried for Emily's well-being - don't worry! This is slated to be Linkin Park's final show of 2024 (as of right now). From Zero is out TODAY, November 15! Linkin Park performs two shows in Brazil in celebration of the album release - stick with us for coverage of those shows and this one on our social media (Twitter/X, Instagram, and Facebook), and sign up on the forums!
