Something to be said about the set not shaking up too much is that this is the last leg of the tour that doesn't repeat markets; starting with Europe they'll be returning to Paris, London, and multiple shows in Germany so there's more incentive for them to really shake things up starting in June than it is now, when I'm sure the majority of people they're playing for haven't seen the tour yet. Might see more significant changes in Europe, but this could also be wishful thinking. I'm cool with them having a new selection of 3-4 songs per leg they throw in while the main body of the set remains.

We're off! Linkin Park continue the From Zero World Tour with its second stop of the leg in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the BOK Center for their first show in the state since 2008! It's been quite some time since the band last performed in Oklahoma, but that's not entirely their fault - while the last show they played there was in 2008, the band were on site and ready to go in Pryor in May 2015 to headline the Rocklahoma festival, however strong tornado-warned storms caused multiple evacuations throughout the day as well as over three hours of delay for Linkin Park's set. The show was ultimately cancelled, and when the band were set to return in 2017 to Oklahoma City on the One More Light Tour, tragedy struck. All that being said, the band has five album cycles to catch the great people of Oklahoma up on with this show in Tulsa! The band's last show in February 2008 on the Minutes To Midnight Winter North American Tour was certainly one the attendees will not have forgotten. Opening with 'What I've Done' and it's legendary AMBO Intro, the band launched right into their set with the likes of 'Don't Stay,' 'Somewhere I Belong,' and 'Lying From You.' While this performance of Set R brought goodies like 'My December,' 'Valentine's Day,' and 'The Little Things Give You Away,' Chester was struggling with sickness during this portion of the tour so some songs had to be dropped. 'Given Up' was dropped, leading to a very rare occasion where 'Wake' didn't transition into the song, and rather went into 'Lying From You' at this show. 'No More Sorrow' and 'Points Of Authority' were also skipped due to Chester's illness, but the extended outro they were playing for 'Points' was tacked on to 'Papercut,' leading to another rare moment! Their previous show before that in 2004 on the Meteora 2004 North American Tour luckily went off without any problems, and fans were treated to some great rarities like 'P5hng Me A*wy' and 'It's Goin' Down,' as well as new Meteora tracks like 'Nobody's Listening' and 'Breaking The Habit.' This setlist was only confirmed a few years ago in 2022 after some research by the LPLive team! This show took place at Norman's Lloyd Noble Center, where LPLive found Hahninator's graduation ceremony was held last year! The band performed in Oklahoma a whopping four times during the Hybrid Theory cycle, the last being on the inaugural run of Projekt Revolution in 2002, where the band brought out all the stops such as 'Forgotten,' 'Pushing Me Away,' and 'Step Up,' and even bringing out DJ Z-Trip on 'It's Goin' Down.' 'Crawling' had to be stopped and restarted due to rowdiness in the pit, but they got through and pushed into the encore that kept delivering big moments such as 'By Myself' and their cover of Deftones' 'My Own Summer (Shove It).' The band performed there three times in 2000: in December in Oklahoma City on Papa Roach's Master Bay Tour for some type of radio festival and in Tulsa in November (their last performance in the city until this show!) on P.O.D.'s King Of The Game Tour a few months after Hybrid Theory had dropped, and once in Tulsa in October on the Kottonmouth Kings' Ridin' High Tour two weeks before Hybrid Theory dropped (and lacking Phoenix, who joined the following month - Scott Koizol was on bass for this earlier 2000s shows). It's been 25 years since Linkin Park last rocked Tulsa, and 12 years since they rocked Oklahoma. Big things are bound to happen! A full audio recording of the band's show at the Oklahoma State Fair Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on February 18, 2002. This setlist has a whole lot of goods including a 'With You' opening with the iconic "Come on!" scream and their cover of Deftones 'My Own Summer (Shove It)' in the encore. The band kicked off the fifth leg of the From Zero World Tour in Austin, Texas on April 26, and while much of the setlist was similarly structured to what we've seen already, the band loaded up a bunch of surprises for this new leg! Set A5 made its debut, kicking off with the familiar combo of Inception Intro A with 'Castle Of Glass' lyrics into 'Somewhere I Belong.' Adjustments were made early to the set as 'Lying From You' returned to Act 1, being played second and 'Crawling' moving up to third. Things got more interesting as the set continued, with 'Up From The Bottom' getting its highly anticipated live debut after 'Burn It Down.' The band threw another curveball at us right after, performing 'Where'd You Go' live with Linkin Park for the very first time, and it transitioned right into 'Waiting For The End' which featured a new extended intro that's more akin to the studio version, with another loop of the main synth incorporating the 2024 intro synth into it. Mike prefaced 'Where'd You Go' by saying it was a request, after which Emily pointed to herself, likely meaning she was the one who wanted to sing it! It's The Rising Tied's 20th anniversary this year, so adding the song to the set is another nice little homage to the record as it reaches its second decade. Mike kept the Fort Minor vibes alive with his solo medley, which was extended between the 'When They Come For Me' and 'Remember The Name' portion while Mike went into the crowd and whipped out an extra verse: 'Until It Breaks' verse 3, which you may know from the old 'Waiting For The End' Apaches Intro! 'Over Each Other' moved up in the set, taking the place after 'Lost' which was performed in its new piano into full band version. Mike played the guitar melody of Depeche Mode's 'Enjoy The Silence' on his synth during the extended intro of 'Overflow,' adding some new flair to the intro. Mike did a remix of 'Enjoy The Silence' in 2004 for their Remixes 81-04 project, and it's nothing short of epic. Definitely check it out if you haven't heard it! The last surprise of the night came during the extended bridge of 'Bleed It Out,' where the 'Cut The Bridge' bridge moment was replaced by a verse of 'There They Go,' making it three different Fort Minor songs that appeared in the set! Other fun moments include Mike going into the crowd for 'In The End' and taking a woman's phone to record a video and Emily sneaking in the "Toothpaste, caught in the Lidl' line during 'Two Faced!' Mike even referenced our tweets about it being Phoenix's first show with the band in Austin along with Emily and Colin before 'Bleed It Out!' The band definitely kept us eagle-eyed fans on our toes from beginning to end with this one. With a new set comes replaced songs and some missing ones, but to us it seems like the band has a lot planned for the rotations between the different sets. New versions of Set B and Set C are still a mystery as we are only at the start of the tour, and we know that on previous legs the band has switched a couple things between them. It does look like there are some new spots for rotations, the first one in the set being the 'Lying From You' slot. On their back-to-back nights in São Paulo and Saitama earlier on the tour, the band rotated between 'Lying From You' and 'Points Of Authority' for this portion, but with a third set now there's room for a third song. Seems like 'From The Inside' would fit right in with these two in this early heavy rotation to me. The "screaming" rotation slot that 'Casualty' sits in previously had 'Keys To The Kingdom' and 'Given Up' in that spot, but perhaps throwing 'IGYEIH' in there for its live debut instead would be a good move, or perhaps even the heavily rumored return of 'QWERTY.' 'Over Each Other' seems like it'll rotate with 'Good Things Go' in the ballad spot after 'Lost,' and perhaps we could see the live debut of 'Stained' wrapping up this rotation in the third set. In the encore rotation, 'A Place For My Head' keeps its spot in Set A, but with 'Lying From You' off the table in Set B, we could see the return of 'Lost In The Echo' or maybe 'Keys To The Kingdom' return to this spot. Regardless of what features in the next set, it does seem like we are geared up for at least one more song they haven't been playing yet in one of the versions of the set. 'Unshatter' surprisingly hasn't made its debut, and the band has a whole slew of other tracks that they played last year that are now missing ('Leave Out All The Rest,' 'Breaking The Habit,' 'My December,' etc.) that could make a return. What're your predictions for the two remaining sets? A great quality full recording of the band's show in Austin, Texas at the Moody Center on April 26, 2025. The band sounded great and seemed to be having a lot of fun to kick off the tour! grandson is opening this leg of the tour, and has brought out a new setlist for Linkin Park fans! From what we can tell, it seems that he's playing a handful of new music (at least three songs) and a cover of Bob Dylan's 'Masters Of War,' so he has some new vigor to deliver Linkin Park fans from 2024's bouts. Known songs you can look forward to include 'Stigmata' and 'Drones,' which bring some explosive energy to his set before 'Blood // Water' closes things out. grandson is as happy as we Linkin Park fans are to see the band back in action, and you can feel that infectious excitement in his performance. Be sure to catch him perform if you can! Who's going to the show? Weatherman Rogue Soul reporting in with actually quite a lot to say this time - it's severe weather season out in the midwest and Great Plains, and if you're from Oklahoma you know what you're in for! The National Weather Service has Tulsa placed in a Slight Risk for severe weather tomorrow, which means there's a chance some strong storms and a small risk a tornado rolls through. Chances aren't high, but be weather aware and be ready for anything! Monday actually seems like a calmer day than it has been lately for Tulsa weather-wise, but be prepared for some rain in the afternoon and muggy temperatures. If anything crazy comes up, we'll try to post an update on socials but also have a way to receive alerts! Doesn't look like we'll have a repeat of 2015 on our hands. Linkin Park continues their first U.S. Leg of the tour with a show in Grand Rapids, Michigan on May 1 before heading east and down the eastern seaboard for shows in Maryland (I'll be there!), North Carolina, and South Carolina before topping things off with festival appearances in Ohio and Florida. We'll have you covered on everything the band does at this show and everything they whip out for the rest of the year, so be sure to sign up on the forums and follow us on social media (Twitter/X, Instagram, Facebook)!

Wow! https://linkinpedia.com/wiki/Live:20250426 Where'd You Go (debut by Linkin Park) Up From The Bottom (live debut) Until It Breaks verse 3 over Mike's Solo Medley some tasty stuff going into this leg. thinking with some of the new positions we have some new rotations, I'm thinking: - LFY/POA/FTI - OEO/GTG/Stained Would love to see that the new part of Mike's solo is a rotating verse deal, too.

It's time to get busy, everyone. Linkin Park kick off the next leg of the From Zero World Tour on Saturday, April 26 at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas! This marks the beginning of what will be the band's heaviest touring schedule in nearly a decade - starting with this one, it'll be a nearly non-stop ride until we reach the South American tour dates in Brazil in November. After having stopped at three cities throughout the United States in 2024's run of shows (Los Angeles, Brooklyn, and Dallas), the band will be embarking through most of the rest of the country over the next few months! United States Leg 1 dots the Midwest and Eastern Seaboard as they trek from Texas to Oklahoma and Michigan. They then bounce east for shows in Maryland, North Carolina, and South Carolina, before rounding things off with two festival appearances in Ohio and Florida. Spring is here and LP is bringing it to a rocking start! You'll be surprised to find out - as the LPLive staff were when we looked it up earlier today - that this will only be the band's third performance in Austin, and their very first headlining show in the city. The only other shows the band played there were all the way back in 2000! And it gets even better - the band hadn't even released Hybrid Theory yet when they had last been in Austin. Additionally - on top of the obvious Emily and Colin, this will be Phoenix's first show with the band in Austin, as Scott Koizol was touring with them in mid-2000 due to Phoenix's obligations with his other band Tasty Snax (you can read more about this on Phoenix's Linkinpedia page). The first show in the city was at the climax of Union Underground's An Education In Rebellion Tour in August, while the second was in mid-October (two weeks before Hybrid Theory came out!) in the middle of the Kottonmouth Kings' Ridin' High Tour. Both shows were at the Back Room bar/club. With only a partial setlist known amongst the two shows, there's not much we can confirm from these shows, but it's certain that the crowd were treated to raw, early performances of songs like 'One Step Closer' and 'With You.' 'By Myself' is confirmed to have been performed on the Ridin' High Tour, and the first known performance comes from a show only three days before their Austin one, in Springfield, Missouri. Needless to say, Austin fans have been waiting a long time for Linkin Park to return to their city! Linkin Park performing 'By Myself' live at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City on November 10, 2000. Their last performance in Austin in 2000 is only the second confirmed performance of the song ever! The band's first few shows of 2025 showed that they are ready to blow fans away for the rest of the year. The band performed three shows in Mexico in January and early-February before flying over to Asia for two shows in Japan and one in Indonesia, and even between the six shows, the band kept the surprises rolling! The band reorganized the setlists from 2024 a little bit for the first six shows, introducing new rotations, live debuts, and even a welcome return. Set A4 kicked things off in Mexico City, the interludes and set-structure remaining the same, but with some new additions! 'Overflow' and 'Good Things Go' made their live debuts, as well as a new version of 'Lost' that goes from the piano version they were playing last year into the full band version! 'Over Each Other' and 'Two Faced' changing their positions in the setlist, while other songs were ultimately dropped: the early-set rotation featuring 'Points Of Authority' and 'Lying From You,' while 'Leave Out All The Rest,' 'Breaking The Habit,' and the 'My December' and 'Friendly Fire' rotations were replaced by new songs. Another From Zero track made a debut of sorts as well, in the flashiest way possible: Mike sang the bridge to 'Cut The Bridge' during the extended bridge of 'Bleed It Out.' No matter how many times I type that, it will always feel insane. 'A Place For My Head' replaced 'Lost In The Echo' as the Set A rotation. The band's next show in Zapopan revealed more changes, with 'Casualty' rotating out with 'Keys To The Kingdom' for some The Hunting Party representation and 'Lying From You' becoming the Set B rotation - it featured in the encore for the first time since Taipei 2013 at the end of the Living Things World Tour! The finale of the Mexican Leg in Monterrey revealed the final rotations, and perhaps the most surprising ones for Set C: 'Given Up' was added to the "scream" rotation, and 'From The Inside' made its Emily and Colin debut as the rotation song in the encore! It was the first song to be "revived" with the new lineup since 'All For Nothing' in Arlington (or arguably the first since 'A Place For My Head' since 'All For Nothing' was a live debut), and the first time the song was ever featured in the encore. The rotations persisted in Asia, though with little surprises thrown in. The band's two shows in Saitama coincided with Mike's and Phoenix's birthdays, which were celebrated both nights. Since the band played back-to-back shows at the same venue, they added an extra rotation for Night Two, performing 'Points Of Authority' in the place of 'Crawling.' The tour ended with the band's first show in Jakarta since 2011, at the end of the A Thousand Suns World Tour. Mike, Emily, and Colin also debuted an acoustic version of 'The Emptiness Machine' on the Japanese TV show DayDay. All of this happened in only six shows, so we can only imagine what's ahead of us! Linkin Park performing 'From The Inside' live for the first time with Emily and Colin in Monterrey, Mexico on February 5, 2025. What's the next song Linkin Park will bring back out of their locker? The two months between the last shows and this show was the longest break the band gets all year, and they've been quietly rehearsing for at least a few weeks now. They've released two new songs (with 'Unshatter' dropping on Friday!) as well as announced the release of the Deluxe Edition of From Zero, so they certainly didn't rest too much! With that being said, let's talk about what we might expect to see the band whip out throughout the rest of the year. It's all but confirmed that the band will be debuting 'Up From The Bottom' with Mike confirming they will be "playing the song on tour" on the red carpet of the iHeartRadio Awards, and with 'Unshatter' dropping the day before the tour kickoff, it seems like the band want the fans to learn it a bit before they hear it live! In a recent interview, Mike said they had been rehearsing "three... or five" new songs, leaving a lot of possibilities! It seems like the band will be changing up their setlist a bit more, with a promise that their sets on the tour will be diverse. From From Zero, 'IGYEIH' and 'Stained' are yet to be performed at all, and 'Cut The Bridge' still needs a proper live debut. Colin mentioned 'QWERTY' in a TikTok livestream earlier in the month, leading to a great deal of speculation that the song may be coming to the sets soon (though he later joked about how much trouble he got in for mentioning it)... He also mentioned last year that he'd like to play 'Runaway' live. Emily has stated that she would like to perform 'Lies Greed Misery' and 'Blackout,' while the one song Mike mentioned ('From The Inside') has already entered the rotation. This lineup of the band seems to be enjoying the heavy side of the music lately, so songs like 'QWERTY' could fit right in with the energy (and would fit real nicely in the "screaming" rotation they've got going on). The LPLive team is hoping for songs like 'No More Sorrow,' 'Guilty All The Same,' and the return of 'Lost In The Echo' - what songs do you hope the band bring back out in 2025? Linkin Park performing 'Good Things Go' live in Zapopan, Mexico on February 3, 2025. The band seems really excited to perform everything from the new record live - with only two (and a half) songs left, which one will be next? grandson is returning open for the band once again on this upcoming leg of the tour! Anyone who saw the American or European shows in 2024 with grandson opening knows that he is as ecstatic as the rest of us that the band is back and kicking, and he definitely put on a show worthy of celebrating a monumental occasion. For his opening sets in 2024, he kicked his shows off with a snippet of his collaboration with Mike from Post Traumatic, 'Running From My Shadow' before diving into his own '6:00.' He delivered heart-touching moments with songs like 'Heather' while also exploding on his own tracks like 'Blood // Water.' It's a performance you don't want to miss, so be sure to get there early if you can to catch him! grandson performing 'Running From My Shadow' and '6:00' at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, California during his opening set for Linkin Park on September 11, 2024. Who's excited to see him again? Maybe you'll see him in the mosh pits! Who's going to the show? Weatherman Rogue Soul's got his job back now that pre-show posts are back (despite government defunding...) and can report that it'll be a cloudy and wet day... but less wet than it has been for the rest of the week with some showers early in the afternoon leading to overcast skies! So dress for some spring showers but be ready to jam. LPLive founder Hahninator will be flying in to the city to see the tour kickoff, so if you see him be sure to say what's up! The band continues north through the interior U.S. for the next shows, with their first show in Oklahoma since 2008 on Monday, April 28 and their return to Grand Rapids, Michigan on May 31. 'Unshatter' drops on Friday, April 25, so be sure to run it up on streaming services so you'll be ready to sing your lungs out in case they debut it at the show! The band is also releasing plushies in collaboration with Youtooz on April 29, so ready your wallets for those too. We'll have you covered on everything the band does at this show and everything they whip out for the rest of the year, so be sure to sign up on the forums and follow us on social media (Twitter/X, Instagram, Facebook)! In memory of Nick Kramar, we dedicate this pre-show post and our coverage of the show to him.

Teased on Youtooz's social media today, it appears the collectible plush company will be creating plushies for the current lineup of the band! No release date on these yet, but they look like they're about to be adorable. Which member(s) are you gonna get 🤔

The band's brand new single 'Up From The Bottom' - the lead single for the upcoming From Zero (Deluxe Edition) release, is out now everywhere, with a music video to go along with it!
-
Riding off of the coattails of one of music history's biggest comebacks, Linkin Park has burst into 2025 with their new single 'Up From The Bottom' and a music video - but there's more! The band will be releasing a new Deluxe Edition of From Zero on May 16, 2025 featuring three brand new songs: 'Up From The Bottom,' 'Unshatter,' and 'Let You Fade.' TRACKLIST: From Zero (Intro) (0:22) The Emptiness Machine (3:10) Cut The Bridge (3:48) Heavy Is The Crown (2:47) Over Each Other (2:50) Casualty (2:20) Overflow (3:31) Two Faced (3:03) Stained (3:05) IGYEIH (3:29) Good Things Go (3:29) Up From The Bottom (3:03) Unshatter (3:16) Let You Fade (3:28) The Emptiness Machine (Live) (3:16) Heavy Is The Crown (Live) (3:25) Over Each Other (Live) (2:52) Casualty (Live) (2:55) Two Faced (Live) (3:57) The album is available to pre-order from the band's official store. There are two vinyl variants (a translucent emerald green and ghostly orchid) as well as two CD options (regular and an expanded booklet edition). A merch drop featuring a few other items also dropped at the same time. Also, there will be a limited japanese edition of the 2CDs and that one comes with acrylic smartphone stand and keychan as a bonus. The five live tracks likely come from the digital releases earlier in the cycle, which were paired with proshot live videos on their YouTube channel. 'The Emptiness Machine' was from the launch show in Los Angeles, 'Heavy Is The Crown' from London, 'Over Each Other' from Paris, and 'Two Faced' from Brazil ('Casualty' has not been shared in full yet), so it's likely these recordings are from these shows, though this is not confirmed. The digital (streaming) version will not feature the live tracks. While we have 'Up From The Bottom' to enjoy until the release of the new music, we can share one tidbit from the From Zero Linkinpedia page. In their "From Zero: A Conversation With Mike Shinoda and Emily Armstrong" talk, Mike and Emily talked briefly about old demos, including 'Unshatter': "Mike described the process before Emily joined the sessions as "if it was a painting... then it starts with a blank canvas, and then we sketched something, and we erased it. And we sketched something, and we erased it... and slowly, it started to be like, 'maybe, this part's good, maybe that part's good...' and then we started to go, 'That's it,' and that's when [Emily] showed up." Some of the first demos Emily sang on were called "Unshatter" and "Vertigo," the latter dated around 2019. This period was very slow and scattered, with them going through periods of not even seeing Emily for weeks or months. The demos from this period were inconsequential musically according to Mike, but were necessary for them to get to the first step of putting together the next Linkin Park album." Other songs mentioned include 'Vertigo' and 'Breathing Underwater,' which could still appear somewhere down the pipeline.

looks like the band are teasing new photos alongside the previous teasers of a new music video. A wild Brad Delson has appeared! https://x.com/linkinpark/status/1904614457466380685

Headlines like this really remind me that we are in a new age! Three Linkin Park songs will be added to Fortnite Festival, a game in the vein of Guitar Hero or Rock Band, made by Harmonix who are responsible for those games as well. 'Faint,' 'The Emptiness Machine,' and the new song 'Up From The Bottom' will be available to play on vocals, guitar, bass, and drums. I'm not too familiar with Fortnite Festival to confirm, but hopefully we will be able to get the stems (the individual tracks) from these songs as well. Fortnite Festival includes tracks from hundreds of artists from Linkin Park and Metallica to Katy Perry and Dua Lipa. It's great to see that Linkin Park's music, both new and old, will be potentially hitting a brand new generation of listeners here. Anyone going to be playing these tracks in the game? The pack drops on Thursday, March 27 alongside the release of the band's new single 'Up From The Bottom.'

Before heading home for what will be their longest break all year, Linkin Park return to Jakarta, Indonesia for the final show of the Asian Leg of the From Zero World Tour on February 16, 2025 at the Stadion Madya Gelora Bung Karno. It has been quite some time since Linkin Park has last graced the stage in Indonesia! This will only be the band's third show in the country ever, the last being on 2011's A Thousand Suns World Tour. Their show in Jakarta in 2011 was the third-to-last show of the whole world tour behind Bangkok and Singapore, and featured a wide array of tracks across the band's discography at the time. New tracks from A Thousand Suns like 'When They Come For Me' and 'Blackout' graced the city, while tracks like 'No More Sorrow' and 'Shadow Of The Day' also got some time to shine after the country had been skipped on the Minutes To Midnight Tour. The band's first visit there dates all the way back to the summer of 2004, the first Asian date on the Meteora International Tour. The band appeared in the country despite travel warnings from the United States government, which led to cancellations in the country from the likes of Missy Elliot, Limp Bizkit, and Garreth Gates that summer. The band still performed the show, however, as the country stood as one of their biggest markets in Asia at the time. Out of concern for their female fans, Chester stated that the show would start early at 4:00pm so everyone could get home in the safety of light. Despite the controversy, Linkin Park delivered a massive first show in the country, churning through Meteora-era hits like the Hip-Hip Medley consisting of 'Step Up,' 'Nobody's Listening,' and 'It's Goin' Down.' The legendary Nine Inch Nails cover - 'Wish' - also graced Indonesia's ears during the encore. With a lot of catching up to do since 2011, the band's third show in the country will surely be another one to remember! Linkin Park performing 'In The End' in Jakarta, Indonesia on September 21, 2011. From the way the crowd sings this one, you can tell the fans from this country love the band. There's a lot of singing to be done at this show, too! Another cool note about this performance - Brad plays the guitar harmonics from 'Pushing Me Away' during the second half of the second verse, if you listen closely! The Asian Leg of this tour has been an eventful one, if not a short one! The band played two nights back-to-back at Saitama, Japan's Saitama Super Arena, and threw in a bunch of variations to spice things up between shows! The band celebrated Mike and Phoenix's birthdays on the first night, blowing out candles on a cake onstage before 'Casualty.' Set A4 made a return, featuring 'Casualty' and 'A Place For My Head' as the rotation songs and 'Castle Of Glass' in its interludes. The band has been matching their last song on their pre-show playlist before they walk onstage with the country this year, with Vicente Fernandez's 'El Rey' in Mexico, the Pokémon Theme Song on Saitama night one, and 'Monster Zero March' from the original Godzilla soundtrack on Saitama night two. Another note is that Mike accidentally sang the demo lyrics to 'Cut The Bridge' during the extended bridge of 'Bleed It Out' at this show, too. Saitama night two followed suit with an extra rotation slot: 'Crawling' rotated with 'Points Of Authority,' making it the first show to not feature 'Crawling' and the first appearance in 2025 for 'Points.' This modified version of Set B4 (listed as V5 on the paper set) featured this along with 'Keys To The Kingdom' and 'Lying From You' as rotations, as well as 'Burn It Down' during the interludes. The performance of 'Keys' marked the first performance of any material from The Hunting Party had been played on Japanese soil - this statistic is even crazier with Indonesia, as no music since Living Things has been performed in the country. This'll be the first time Indonesia's had the chance to singalong to numbers like 'Castle Of Glass' and 'Burn It Down,' and we can hope for a surprise appearance from more tracks from The Hunting Party and One More Light too to pop up. Jakarta is lined up for Set C4, featuring 'Given Up' and 'From The Inside,' the latter of which is fresh off the press with the band's new lineup, having debuted in Monterrey, Mexico earlier this month. Linkin Park ripping 'Keys To The Kingdom' live in Saitama, Japan on February 12, 2025. The first song from The Hunting Party to be performed live in Japan - will Indonesia see some similar statistics be broken? Who's heading to the show? If you're in Jakarta this weekend, be on the lookout for a Linkin Park-themed Tahu bulat truck going around the city and grab a bite before the show! It's monsoon season in Indonesia, so it's no surprise that Weatherman Rogue sees thunderstorms and rain in the forecast for Sunday, and it'll be hot and humid to boot. So be sure to stay dry and light and get ready to jam with the band! Not sure if there's an opening band or not yet, but I'll update the post with information as it comes. After this show, the band takes the rest of the month, March, and most of April off before launching into the busy part of the year, kicking things back up on April 26 in Austin, Texas for the first leg of the United States tour. With the cancellation of the Sick New World festival in mid-April, there's nothing on the live schedule until the end of April, so the band may have some extra time to prepare some new surprises! We'll have you covered on the setlist and all the fun stuff that happens at this show, so be sure to sign up on the forums and follow us on social media (Twitter/X, Instagram, Facebook)! See the rest of Linkin Park's 2025 touring schedule on our live guide.

This is all stuff we WOULD put a note for, it's just a matter of we can't always find 100% of the little mistakes that happen between shows, so we list what we can confirm. Largely with bass/guitar mistakes, those are brief/hidden enough to not really warrant. But then look at this OSC in 2012 where it seems Rob fucked it up and confused Brad and Phoenix too: No ill intent meant, the main purpose is to show the differences between each show. Joe messing up an intro is more of a welcome tradition at this point than us complaining lol. Even the band jokes around with each other about the mistakes every so often. Since we're bringing up mistakes, I'll present my personal favorites, coincidentally both 'Burn It Down' - the first one has a pre-recorded instrumental in 2016 with just Chester and Joe where so much somehow goes wrong, and the second is the infamous 2014 Brazil show where everything went wrong lol (Mike plays in the wrong key at the start, Joe misses the cue because Mike stops playing, the whole band forgets they are playing a shortened version of the song). Chester even says at the end: "That was interesting" and then he and Mike both laugh it off. They're professionals - they have a good laugh about it and move on, probably don't think about it a few seconds later.

Linkin Park continue the Asian Leg of their From Zero World Tour tonight with night two in Saitama, Japan at the Saitama Super Arena - and if night one is any indicator, we may be in for the best performances on the tour yet for night two! Night One in Tokyo was perhaps the best the band has sounded since they returned. No major surprises came in the form of changes to the set, but fans in Japan witness the band in full form nonetheless. Set A4 returned, featuring 'Castle Of Glass' lyrics in the interlude, 'Casualty' in the mid-set rotation and 'A Place For My Head' in the encore rotation. While nothing much changed on the surface from the set's last appearance at the tour kick-off in Mexico City, the show featured many little details that made it a whole new night. The show took place on Mike's birthday (and only three days after Dave's), so the crowd took a few minutes to sing 'Happy Birthday' to them both before they blew out candles on a cake brought out by the crew. This heartwarming moment was followed immediately by 'Casualty.' The band dimmed the lights for the last song on their pre-show playlist, invigorating the crowd with the Pokémon Theme song ("I wanna be the very best that no one ever was") -- as a big Pokémon fan myself, this is a phenomenal moment to be alive. The set was riddled with further Pokémon references throughout the night, including Mike shouting "I choose you, Pikachu!" (to which Emily responded, "I look like Pikachu.") right before kicking into 'A Place For My Head.' The band definitely felt right at home and had a lot of fun at this show - Joe even came back out from the encore break adorning a guitar, pretending to play a little before running back to his station. One thing you can always depend on a Japanese crowd is to be the right amount of respectful - singing at the top of their lungs when they need to and showing respect and being quiet during more intimate moments. This practice lead to some truly incredible moments, such as the stunning renditions of the half acoustic/half full-band version of 'Lost' and 'Good Things Go.' Songs like 'Overflow' got moments to truly shine for perhaps the first time, while the classics like 'One Step Closer' and 'In The End' exploded with more meaning than ever before on Japanese soil. Emiy was at the top of her game, delivering huge screams on 'Two Faced' and 'Heavy Is The Crown.' Another cool moment was during the extended bridge of 'Bleed It Out,' where the normal "Bridgeception" mashup with the 'Cut The Bridge' bridge actually featured lyrics from the demo version of the song (the lyrics can be seen written in artwork on From Zero)! One final detail is that the 360 stage setup returned for this show, but with the end-stage production; what this means is that the band performed with a modified version of their current arena setup at the end of the arena but with seats on all sides. The 360 setup from 2024 will return this summer in the United States and Canada. An absolutely stunning performance of 'Lost' at night one in Saitama, Japan's Saitama Super Arena on February 11, 2025. Night Two in Saitama holds a lot of promise and opportunity - but what set will the band deliver? Set B4 features 'Iridescent' vocals in the interludes and 'Keys To The Kingdom' and 'Lying From You' as rotation songs, while Set C4 includes 'Burn It Down' vocals in interludes and 'Given Up' and 'From The Inside' (the latter of which is being performed with the new lineup for the first time this year). It's not too late to switch things up for a surprise in Japan, though. Last year's 'QWERTY' single release was boosted by a live release from the song's iconic performance from the short but legendary 2006 Japan Tour -- there's no time like the present to whip this one out of the bag, especially after debuting 'All For Nothing' last year for a one-off in Arlington, Texas. On the topic of heavy music and The Hunting Party, no music from that album nor One More Light (barring an intimate performance of 'Heavy' featuring just Chester and Mike in 2017) has ever been performed in the country, as the band's last visit there was in 2013 for a series of shows for the Summer Sonic festival. The band had a three-night residency planned in 2017 at Chiba's Makuhari Messe, but the shows never ended up happening due to Chester's passing. It's the perfect opportunity to bring out 'Keys To The Kingdom' to give Japan some well-deserved Hunting Party action, and even perhaps 'Friendly Fire' to give them the One More Light action they missed out on equally as much. We're still waiting to see Emily, Colin, and Alex take on more numbers from these records, especially 'Guilty All The Same,' 'Final Masquerade,' and 'Talking To Myself.' The band has rarely ever performed a single night in Tokyo when headlining in the city, always playing at least two (and sometimes three!) shows in the city back-to-back. This practice goes all the way back to 2003, where the band played three nights at Tokyo's Nippon Budokan. The second night featured the addition of 'My December,' being performed for the first time since Projekt Revolution 2002. The third night featured a further addition of 'Nobody's Listening,' marking the first time the regular studio version had ever been performed after having been extended earlier in the year. The band played two completely different setlists in 2007's two shows at the Saitama Super Arena, bouncing between tracks like 'Hands Held High' and a 'No More Sorrow' opener on night one and a 'One Step Closer' opener plus 'Leave Out All The Rest' on night two. The band's 2011 venture to Chiba saw both different setlists and the 5th LPU Summit, a tradition we'd like to see return soon. LPU members entered the venue early to explore the band's live setup and get up close and personal with them, asking questions and sometimes even being treated to an acoustic performance or soundcheck. These shows are remembered for them being the debut of 'No Roads Left,' which had its first verse and chorus performed over the bridge of 'Bleed It Out' for a few shows around this time. Will 2025 continue the band's legacy of unforgettable back-to-back nights in Tokyo? The band delivered what was perhaps the best performance yet of 'Overflow' at the Saitama Super Dome in Saitama, Japan on February 11, 2025. Which songs will shine in night two? Who's heading to the show? Weatherman Rogue Soul here to report a chilly but sunny day in Tokyo, so dress warm and get ready to jam! A reminder that there is no opening band AND the band will be taking the stage quite early, with doors at 4:30pm and show time at 6:00pm. After this show, Linkin Park's wrap up their Asian Leg this weekend on February 16 with a show in Jakarta, Indonesia before heading home to rest and gear up for the real gauntlet of touring they have coming up. With no shows for the rest of the month or March after Jakarta, the band will return to the United States to kick off their first of two legs in April. And don't miss the stripped down performance of 'The Emptiness Machine' that Emily, Mike, and Colin performed on the Japanese morning show DayDay! We'll have you covered on the setlist and all the fun stuff that happens at this show, so be sure to sign up on the forums and follow us on social media (Twitter/X, Instagram, Facebook)!

Given Up in the Casualty/KTTK spot, and while POA doesn't get its first encore spot, FROM THE INSIDE is back! First time with Emily, Colin, and Alex, AND the first time it's ever been in the encore!

can confirm he typed One More Light himself instead of OMS. character development 🥲 great post! It’s nice to run down someone else’s memory lane every so often if anyone else would ever like to do one for their show, feel free to shoot me a message and we’ll see if we can make it work

Thanks for the love on the post, everyone! 2024 started similarly with just one rotation spot in the setlist before new songs were added in and switched out with others. It was only in Brazil that all three rotations happened, anf that was because of the two shows. With the two shows in Japan coming up next week, I think they must at least have a FEW songs to switch in and out, but we may very well not see them until then. That being said, since the rotation songs themselves seem to have switched around (APFMH now in Set A), I think B and/or C will have something cool in that spot.

The From Zero World Tour is officially underway, and it continues February 3, 2025 in Zapopan, Mexico! Linkin Park are back on the road, starting off their busiest year of touring in over a decade in the capital city of Mexico. The first stop of the tour in Mexico City brought a huge start to the tour, complete with familiar goodies and new surprises. The band performed a new version of Set A (Set A4), which is the setlist that features 'Castle Of Glass' lyrics over the interludes such as Inception Intro and Resolution Intro. A number of changes were made, especially structurally: songs like 'Two Faced' and 'Over Each Other' saw their spots switched around in the set, the latter of the two being moved up significantly further than in 2024, in the slot after 'Burn It Down.' 'Two Faced' was performed before the solo portion of the show. Last year, the rotation song in this set was 'Lost In The Echo' - in 2025, that slot in Set A now begins with the classic 'A Place For My Head,' featuring in the encore after 'Papercut.' The biggest surprises of the night were the additions to the set, which all happened almost consecutively. The first was the debut of a brand new version of 'Lost,' a "hybrid" version that started off with the piano verse and chorus we have become familiar with last year before launching into the studio version of the song, starting with the heavy intro before launching into the second verse of the song. This marks the first time the entirety of the song was performed, and the first time the song has been performed with the full band. The band also performed the song in its original key rather than the different key, presumably because the song doesn't serve as a transition into 'Breaking The Habit' anymore. Coming right out of this bombshell was the live debut of 'Good Things Go,' sung at a lower key to make it easier to sing for Mike and Emily. This unexpected fan-favorite was certain to get its debut this year, and we knew it was coming soon based off rehearsal photos the band shared in January. What we didn't expect, however, was another live debut! Right out of the Kintsugi Transition came the live debut of 'Overflow,' meaning two of the most-requested songs from the new record have made it to the live show. One more From Zero moment came during the extended bridge of 'Bleed It Out,' where Mike sang the bridge of 'Cut The Bridge' over it. Really feels like he had us specifically in mind when he thought that one up! The live debut of 'Good Things Go' live in Mexico City, Mexico on January 31, 2025. With all the surprises at the first show, it leaves us wondering what the band will bring to fans in Zapopan! The band has never performed in Guadalajara, so this show will be a first for the area. The band has visited Mexico on three tours in the past: in 2002 opening for Korn at the finale of the Hybrid Theory World Tour, in 2012 for their first headlining shows in the country on the Living Things World Tour, in 2015 for a quick two shows on The Hunting Party World Tour. This leaves room for a whole lot of history to go down at this show. One thing to note about the Mexico City set is that many of the rotating spots from last year has now been replaced by new songs that'll presumably be sticking around. The setlist is lacking the rotations of 'Points Of Authority' and 'Lying From You,' as well as 'My December' and 'Friendly Fire.' 'Breaking The Habit' and 'Leave Out All The Rest' have also been dropped in favor of the new songs. The first pairing could be in a new rotation with 'Crawling' in a sort of "old classic" rotation early in the set, while it seems more uncertain for the softer numbers. Three variations (which were then varied themselves) of the set were played in the short 2024 world tour, with over ten songs being played irregularly throughout the tour. This includes 'Keys To The Kingdom' and a one-off 'All For Nothing' from The Hunting Party, which currently has no representation in the set, as well as 'Given Up' and 'Lost In The Echo.' The rotation slots seem to have changed around now that 'A Place For My Head' features in Set A - will 'Lost In The Echo' and 'Keys To The Kingdom' return in Set B and Set C, or will different songs take their place? Songs like 'From The Inside' and 'Runaway' were floated by the band last year, so we'll have our eyes locked on that part of the set especially during our coverage for this show. Do you expect any more surprises to happen between the next few shows? The live debut of 'Overflow' live in Mexico City, Mexico on January 31, 2025. With 7.5 out of 10 full songs on the new record played, we now have a full 'Cut The Bridge,' 'IGYEIH,' and 'Stained' yet to appear live. Pretty good for the first show of the full world tour! AFI will once again be opening the show, and that's reason to celebrate as they really brought the fire in Mexico City! Opening with classic 'Girl's Not Grey,' the band spent no time getting right into the jams for the night. The band largely stuck to the old classics, such as 'Love Like Winter' and 'Paper Airplanes (Makeshift Wings),' but did pull 'The Missing Man' from 2018's The Missing Man EP and a few selections from 2013's Burials such as '17 Crimes.' The show closed out with an epic finale of 'Miss Murder,' perhaps the band's most iconic song. Having toured with them previously in 2014 on the Carnivores Tour, AFI are no stranger to opening a Linkin Park show up the right way, and we're sure you'll be blown away in Zapopan by them, too! The full band live debut of the new "hybrid" version of 'Lost' in Mexico City, Mexico on January 31, 2025. What surprises are in store for Guadalajara? Who's heading to the show? Weatherman Rogue Soul reporting a beautiful sunny and hot day in Guadalajara for the show, so dress lightly, stay hydrated, and get ready to rock! The band's Mexican Leg of the tour wraps up with one more show in Monterrey on February 5 before they fly to Asia for two shows in Japan and one in Indonesia. The band will likely take the stage around 9:00pm, with doors at 5:00pm and AFI at 7:45pm. We'll have you covered on the show's setlist and all the surprises the band may throw at us, so be sure to sign-up to the forums and follow us (Twitter/X, Instagram, and Facebook)!

Interesting to read all these retrospectives on the album. Personally, I can agree that I don’t really listen to the WHOLE album anymore but I do make sure to spin whatever tracks pop up in my shuffle, as I would any LP song. Maybe its because of the duty I have with this website but TEM fills me with inspiration and I’ll always feel that adrenaline of “damn, this is the first new song my favorite band released in about 7 years” and I get sent straight back to September. I think this era will be largely less about the music for me and more about the memories I’ve been making with the friends I haven’t seen in years and the places I’ll be going. When LP last toured I was 17. I just turned 25 at the start of the month - I’m a grown ass man and nearly a completely different person than back then, AND I now will be going with my best friends to see multiple shows in the summer. FZ simply just kinda changed the tide of my life when I was going through a lot, and I will always cherish it for that reason. Kinda the same idea of how Mike said he feels connections to the song not for their sound but for the story of it coming together. And for the record, OML is a phenomenal lil album. people take things too seriously, say what you will about the production and sound but you can’t deny the band were at least TRYING to tap into a side of their songwriting that they hadn’t before. The lyrics are much more honest and visceral than most songs on THP, for example. To me, OML isn’t the music of the kids who made HT but the adults who came that far and have different things to lose and worry about. As I get older the songs make that much more sense to me. OML still Top 3 for me.

We're back in business! After a short excursion around the world last fall, Linkin Park are back in action to kick off their first large-scale world tour in almost eight years. The 2025 From Zero World Tour kicks off on January 31, 2025 in Mexico City, Mexico at the Estadio GNP Seguros. What does the band have in store for us this year? We've had a few months off, so let's dive into a quick recap of where things left off last year. Linkin Park concluded their touring in 2024 with a bang, with a short run of shows in South America in November and their first ever performance in Saudi Arabia in December. The band kicked things off in South America with their first show ever in the country of Colombia, delivering a huge show to fans in Bogotá. Last year's sets featured snippets of different songs in the interludes used throughout the show and different song rotations, and toward the last few shows the band really began mixing things up. Set C was performed in Bogotá, featuring 'Burn It Down' lyrics over the interludes and 'A Place For My Head' as the rotation song, with the surprise slot being moved up into the encore starting at this show. While the show itself was great, the band did have a couple of hurdles to overcome. Technical issues marred the set early on, with most of the distortion effects on the instruments cutting out during the first chorus of 'The Emptiness Machine.' The song was performed a second time by request of the crowd once the problems were fixed, though the band did leave the stage after 'The Catalyst' to get things completely fixed. Additionally, as documented in an LPTV episode, Emily and other members needed pure oxygen onstage to help them breathe properly due to the high altitude of the country. Despite it all, the band powered through and played a big show before heading off to Brazil for two shows in São Paulo's Allianz Parque to celebrate the release of From Zero. The band's two shows in Brazil sent ripples through the country itself. The first show, taking place on the release date of the album, set the tone for the band's long-awaited return to Brazil. Set A was brought out, with 'Castle Of Glass' used during the interludes and 'Lost In The Echo' being played as the rotation track. As it was the first time on the tour the band played the same city twice, the changes between sets were really played with in Brazil. 'Lying From You' and 'Points Of Authority,' which has previously both been played, became rotations between shows, as well as 'My December' and 'Friendly Fire,' the latter of which had been absent from sets for the last handful of shows. 'Two Faced' made its live debut after 'Lying From You,' and the Brazilian crowd truly gave it a warm welcome into the band's live catalogue. The first show was partially livestreamed, where it was announced that a theatrical edit will be released of it some time this year - stay tuned for that, as the full show broadcast on Multishow really captured how powerful a show it was. On top of the other handful of new tracks that were being freshly performed (such as 'Casualty' and 'Over Each Other'), the show also saw older tracks get some love. The crowd sang a football chant at the end of Mike's solo medley of 'When They Come For Me' and 'Remember The Name,' leading him to comment that he and Phoenix had always wanted a song with that kind of vibe. The second show brought much the same passion as the night before, with Set B closing out the leg with 'Iridescent' lyrics and a last-minute switch up of 'A Place For My Head' as the rotation song instead of the freshly debuted 'Keys To The Kingdom.' The band's last show of 2024 was another check off the list, with their first show ever in Saudi Arabia and their first show in the Middle East since the A Thousand Suns World Tour brought them to Israel and the United Arab Emirates in 2010. Their show took place at Riyadh's Soundstorm Festival, which boasted a huge lineup including Eminem, Muse, Thirty Seconds To Mars, Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki, and more. While we didn't see any collaborations happen, the band delivered their first festival set of the tour which did offer some surprises and a look into what the band may be considering for 2025's festival appearances. The band cut the set down to mostly the big singles, opening with a run of 'Somewhere I Belong,' 'Crawling,' and 'New Divide.' 'Two Faced' was moved down after 'Waiting For The End,' and 'Given Up' made an unexpected return after being dropped for a few shows (likely in favor of 'Casualty'). No encore break meant the band went straight from 'Faint' into the Resolution Intro and 'Papercut.' The band treaded a lot of new territory in 2024 despite only being active for the last quarter of it, so it'll be exciting what new horizons the next few years will bring! Linkin Park performing 'Two Faced' live for the first time in São Paulo, Brazil on November 15, 2024. This proshot video released by the band gives an idea of what you can expect to see in their theatrical release of the show coming later this year. Now that we're all caught up again, let's dive back into a different past: this time, let's talk about Linkin Park in Mexico. The band's last shows in the country were in June 2015, which included a show in Mexico City's Arena Ciudad de Mexico. This show came on the second-to-last leg of The Hunting Party World Tour, and was the first headlining show of the leg for them, having been playing festivals in the United States and Canada at the shows prior. The band added a couple of songs into the set given that they had some more time, including 'Points Of Authority' (which was last performed at the end of 2014), 'Final Masquerade' (which had been dropped at the festival shows), and 'Crawling,' which was performed in full for the first time since the band's Hybrid Theory in full performance at Download 2014. Mike's 2014 solo medley was replaced by a shortened version of 'Remember The Name' and the full band live debut of Fort Minor's 'Welcome.' This was the first time that (relatively) complete versions of Fort Minor songs made their way into Linkin Park shows, a tradition that has kept up with 'Remember The Name' for the last few album cycles. 'Waiting For The End' featured for the first time in the encore at these Mexican shows as well. 2012 was the next most recent visit to Mexico City, this time on the Living Things World Tour, right off of the tail of the Carnivores Tour. Again rocking the Arena Ciudad de Mexico, the band brought some rarer album tracks from Living Things out like 'In My Remains' and 'Victimized,' the latter of which was mashed up with the bridge of 'QWERTY.' Older tracks made appearances too, including 'With You' and 'Points Of Authority.' During the bridge of 'Bleed It Out,' the band performed a cover of the Beastie Boys' 'Sabotage,' honoring the passing of Beastie Boys' rapper and bassist, MCA. These series of shows were the band's first headlining shows in the country, and the first time since 2002 that the band had played a show there. The band's last show of the Hybrid Theory World Tour (barring a charity performance a few days after) took place at the same venue the band will be headlining in 2025 - Foro Sol (which is now known as the Estadio GNP Seguros). The band opened for Korn at this show, omitting some of the deeper cuts from the era like 'Forgotten,' 'My December,' and 'It's Goin' Down,' but bringing a big punch for their first show in Mexico as well as their last proper show of their first world tour. This show featured a rare performance of Linkin Park's cover of 'My Own Summer (Shove It)' by Deftones, possibly the final performance of the cover ever as the setlist for the benefit show a few days later is unconfirmed. As is the theme with this record, we are somehow once again back where everything started - the same venue that began Linkin Park's live history in Mexico is where things pick back up again to kick off their first broad world tour of their comeback. An audio recording of Linkin Park's first show in Mexico - March 2, 2002 at Foro Sol in Mexico City, Mexico. Check out the performance of 'My Own Summer (Shove It)' at 36:22! And now, let's get back to the present. Now that the album has been released for a few months and the band has had time to rehearse again, we're expecting a couple of switch-ups in the setlist over the next few shows! We're as in the dark as to what the band will be performing in Mexico City and going forward in 2025, but we have a bunch of guesses! Let's start by talking about the general setlist itself. The band carefully constructed the 2024 setlist to tell a story and reintroduce themselves while still proving that they are the same band, and this narrative was attached to the various interludes and intros that featured within the sets. One big question is whether or not these intros and interludes will continue to be used in 2025, and if so, it seems more likely that the band will be modifying last year's setlists further rather than constructing a brand new one. But if not, there are a number of songs raring for a chance to open the show or even the encore - many fans have noted that the Arcane version of 'Heavy Is The Crown' would make for an excellent show opener or encore opener, and would be a cool extended intro to the song itself. Speaking of new songs, it would be shocking to us if some brand new songs from From Zero aren't performed live. The only song that seems to be outright confirmed to be performed is 'Good Things Go,' the closing song from From Zero that -- to the surprise of the band -- really struck a chord with the fanbase. Photos from rehearsal show lyrics from 'Good Things Go' on the teleprompters, indicating that the band were rehearsing the track. Another interesting indicator is that Alex Feder, the band's touring guitarist standing in for Brad Delson, posted footage on his Instagram of him practicing 'Good Things Go' - on the drums! Could Colin Brittain and Alex be doing the ol' switcheroo for this song? Colin already steps away from the drum kit for a couple moments in the set, playing electric guitar during 'When They Come For Me' in Mike's solo medley and acoustic guitar (and backing vocals) in 'My December.' We haven't seen Alex switch up his weapon of choice yet, but they could be trying a different arrangement of members for 'Good Things Go' - time will tell! It wouldn't surprise us to see other songs from From Zero be debuted either - the band expressed interest in playing a number of them, especially 'Overflow' which was requested by the crowd in Brazil the day of the album release! What new songs are you looking forward to hearing live the most? It'll be interesting to see if the band add any older songs from their catalogue into the setlist as well, perhaps increasing the number of rotating spots in the setlist. A few tracks were mentioned last year, with 'From The Inside' being one that Mike himself said the band were considering bringing out for the 2025 tour. With 'Lying From You' and 'Points Of Authority' now being rotated, 'From The Inside' would fit right in alongside them in the third version of the set (assuming that a completely new set hasn't been made). Colin also mentioned that he would like to play 'Runaway,' as well as noting that the band had rehearsed some more songs from The Hunting Party - 'Keys To The Kingdom' and 'All For Nothing' both made their debuts live last year, and despite either song not being played much ('All For Nothing' being played at only one show where Helmet opened), we hope the #JusticeForTheHuntingParty energy continues this year! It would be fantastic to see songs like 'Guilty All The Same' or 'Final Masquerade' make a return. What classic tracks do you want to see make a return this year? The live debut of 'All For Nothing' with Page Hamilton from Helmet at the band's show in Arlington, Texas on November 8, 2024. While the song was only played when Hamilton was around, this performance shocked the fanbase at the time and showed a change in the band's attitude toward bringing out rarer songs. Maybe some similar surprises are in store this year! AFI will be opening up for the band on the Mexican leg of the tour. If you're a fan of mid-2000's rock, this band needs no introduction with singles like 'Miss Murder' and 'Girl's Not Grey' remaining timeless jams to this day. These will also be AFI's first shows of the year, so you can expect them to whip out their biggest tracks and then some. AFI previously opened for the band in 2014 on the Carnivores Tour, and coincidentally the last time I saw AFI was last summer when they opened for... Thirty Seconds To Mars. Some sort of spiritual Carnivores Tour reunion took place in my life last year, it seems. Regardless, AFI always bring an eclectic and unforgettable show, and you can expect them to throw a great party before Linkin Park take the stage. Who'll be attending the show? If you're in Mexico City, pick up some tamales before the show, because dinner is on the band - free tamales will be available before the show at three locations in the city, so if you need a bite before the gig, check one of these spots out! Weatherman Rogue Soul is back in 2025 to report a beautiful day for a show on Friday, with temperatures in the 70s and a few clouds in the sky.
