The From Zero World Tour is bringing Linkin Park to some new territory! Linkin Park begins their short South American leg of the tour on November 11, 2024 with their first ever stop in the country of Colombia at Bogotá's Coliseo Medplus! Things are looking great for Colombia. The band absolutely blew away all expectations and precedents with their setlist in Arlington, Texas on November 8, 2024 at the Globe Life Field. For once, the nonsense I wrote about in the last pre-show post about "what could happen" actually happened! The band hit their stadium rig stage with Inception Intro B (with 'Iridescent' vocals) and 'Somewhere I Belong,' immediately bringing that Live In Texas spark back to the Lone Star State. The surprises began after 'Castle Of Glass,' and in a big way - Page Hamilton from opening band Helmet came out onstage to help the band bring the live debut of 'All For Nothing,' from 2014's The Hunting Party, to the stage it has long awaited. Ten years after the album came out, this year's #JusticeForTheHuntingParty has really made its mark. 'Keys To The Kingdom,' another The Hunting Party song that got its live debut this year, was also supposed to be played during the encore, but was dropped in the end, possibly due to time constraints (the band was 10 minutes late to the stage and went over curfew by about 20 minutes, even with dropping a song). With this, we went from only half of the album being played live to a solid 8 / 12: 'Keys To The Kingdom,' 'All For Nothing,' 'Guilty All The Same,' 'Wastelands,' 'Until It's Gone,' 'Rebellion,' 'Final Masquerade,' and 'A Line In The Sand.' This leaves 'War' and 'Mark The Graves' (and interludes 'The Summoning' [which actually has been used in the live show before, just not by itself] and 'Drawbar') left to be played from the record. There are only a handful of songs in the band's discography that have never been played live, and with a lot of big ones that we never thought would see the light of day again getting crossed off the list, we can't help but wonder what could be next. What song from The Hunting Party do you want to see Emily tackle next? The live debut of 'All For Nothing' featuring Page Hamilton live in Arlington, Texas on November 8, 2024. The surprises didn't end there, however. After his solo 'When They Come For Me' and 'Remember The Name' mashup, Mike admitted to the crowd, "We have a second surprise for you tonight. You get to find out -- Dallas gets to find out what happens when Em puts her screamy pants on!" The band then launched right into the world premiere of 'Casualty,' giving fans in that Texas stadium the first real taste of the song. With Mike roaring like he's in Rage Against The Machine and Emily blowing the bridge up like its 'Spit It Out' by Slipknot, 'Casualty' is undoubtedly one of Linkin Park's heaviest songs ever. And the fans in Texas knew it too, after blowing up the From Zero Pit into a frenzy of moshpitting after Mike's challenge: "If ever there was ever a time at a Linkin Park show to show us the biggest pit that you can... Some of you motherfuckers haven't been in a pit in like ten years! Don't you miss it? You gonna show us you still got it?" The band switched up the setlist a little more (this version of the setlist was given a new name: B2) by moving 'Over Each Other' later, replacing 'Friendly Fire' in the setlist. Since it's From Zero launch week... could more surprises be on the way? Being that this is their first show ever in Colombia, perhaps surprises are unnecessary - the setlist as it is is about as good as it gets in terms of being spread all over the band's discography (with the exception of One More Light if 'Friendly Fire' is out for good). But without Page Hamilton supporting, it seems unlikely we'll see 'All For Nothing' again anytime soon, so perhaps the rotations return to normal in Bogotá (the rotation for Set B is normally 'Keys To The Kingdom,' which was moved to the encore before ultimately being dropped). Set A and Set B have been played so far, leaving Set C a good chance to come back out at this show (but with two more shows left, it's hard to say what rotation the band will follow). Set C contains 'Burn It Down' in its interludes and 'A Place For My Head' as its rotation song. Set C also hasn't been played with 'Over Each Other' or 'Casualty' yet, so with those additions to the set, perhaps we'll see things get even more changed up as they find the right place for these songs. The possibility still remains for some surprises, though. Perhaps a new rotation song like 'From The Inside' or 'No More Sorrow' get added to the mix, or maybe another From Zero song sneaks its way in there: of the three songs Emily said she was most excited to play live, 'Two Faced' and 'Overflow' remain. Will 'Friendly Fire' return, or has it run its course on the tour? Hit us with your best guesses as to what we'll see go down in Colombia! The world premiere of 'Casualty' live in Arlington, Texas on November 8, 2024. Who'll be heading to the show? Weatherman Rogue Soul here to report a pretty muggy and cloudy day, with rain and some thunderstorms in the morning and afternoon, with a cool temperature. Dress for a wet but good time ( )! After this show, the band concludes their touring for the year by celebrating the release of From Zero with Brazil, with shows in São Paulo on release day and the day after, November 15 and 16. The first show (which happens on release day) will be livestreamed, as well, so we can all tune in for the action! Listening parties have begun around the world, giving fans a chance to hear the record before it finally drops on Friday - our thread is filling up with fan reviews and accounts, so check it out and share your thoughts on the album if you heard it too! And if you missed it, a new version of 'Heavy Is The Crown' featured in Arcane Season 2 is now available for streaming! As always, we'll have you updated on everything that goes on at the show - especially the surprises! Be sure to follow us (Twitter/X, Instagram, and Facebook) and sign-up on the forums to share your voice!

The softer guitar part in the first half of this was used in the Ext. Intro for HITC at the Worlds 2024 performance, so hopefully they revisit that in some capacity eventually.
-
A second version of 'Heavy Is The Crown' is out now on streaming services! The Original Score version features in the Arcane League Of Legends series, the second season of which dropped its first three episodes on Netflix today. The song is featured in episode 1 (which is itself titled "Heavy Is The Crown") about 33 minutes in and runs to the credits. This version is slower and more atmospheric, coming in with a slow and heavy explosion in the second half. What do you think of this version of the song? Could make for a cool live intro in the future. The full soundtrack for Season 2 of Arcane League Of Legends will be out on November 25, and also features the likes of Twenty One Pilots, Mako, and Imagine Dragons.

Threw some higher quality videos onto the main post.

and this, ladies and gentlemen, if why I pour over every single possible detail in these show posts. I can’t say I called both, but at least I mentioned the possibility of both happening ‘Keys To The Kingdom’ was in the encore before HITC but dropped, likely due to time. Imagine two THP songs in the set that haven’t been played before this year… maybe in South America. full show:

Just a week before From Zero is unleashed upon the world, Linkin Park performed what may just be their heaviest song ever at the Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. Check out the world premier of their new song 'Casualty' live in Texas: Mike during the bridge: "If ever there was ever a time at a Linkin Park show to show us the biggest pit that you can... Some of you motherfuckers haven't been in a pit in like ten years! Don't you miss it? You gonna show us you still got it?" Some really insane stuff from the band here. Mike sounds like he's in Rage Against The Machine and the bridge feels like I'm watching Linkin Park play 'Spit It Out' by Slipknot. What a time to be alive! The band also debuted 'All For Nothing' from The Hunting Party at the show, playing it with guest Page Hamilton from Helmet, who opened the show. This is the second song from the album to receive its live debut this year, after 'Keys To The Kingdom' featured in a handful of sets in September. #JusticeForTheHuntingParty has truly come! Check out the show page for more notes and details: https://linkinpedia.com/wiki/Live:20241108 The band continues the tour next week with their first show in Colombia ever on November 11 and two shows in São Paulo, Brazil on From Zero release day (November 15) and November 16. At this rate, will we get another live debut, perhaps in Brazil? Show #1 in Brazil is being livestreamed, so we'll be ready for all the action.

What a time to be alive. the band just finished playing LOATR as I post this

Time is counting down fast to the release of From Zero in just about a week from now, and what better what to tide over the wait than some more show coverage? Linkin Park are bringing the From Zero World Tour back to the United States for its next stop - the Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas on November 8, 2024! The last stop of the From Zero World Tour brought the band back to France for the first time since 2017, and they certainly returned with style! The band performed in Nanterre's Paris La Défense Arena, performing a stadium-level show for the first time since 2014's Carnivores Tour stop in Tampa, Florida (where they played at a baseball stadium, similar to this event in Dallas). The band debuted their stadium rig at this show, debuting a new stage (with a typical concert layout rather than the previous 360 stage) with new production. The band brought back essentially the same set from the September leg, with the addition of the new From Zero single 'Over Each Other!' The band added the song in after Mike's solo medley mashup of 'When They Come For Me' and 'Remember The Name,' and featured Emily Armstrong on vocals AND guitar for the first time in her tenure with Linkin Park. Emily was no stranger to ripping some guitar out when previously performing with Dead Sara, so we're excited to hear what else she'll be bringing to the table as the band perform different songs! Emily and Mike shared many moments throughout the show, including a bunch of coaxing Emily to speak French to the crowd and Mike hugging her after she messed up a line at the end of 'Points Of Authority.' The band performed Set A at this show, with 'Castle Of Glass' featuring over the show's interludes and 'Lost In The Echo' in the rotation slot. 'Bleed It Out' featured verse one of 'A Place For My Head' over the extended bridge, as well. Linkin Park performing 'Over Each Other' live for the first time at the Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre, France, on November 3, 2024. This was the first time Emily played guitar with Linkin Park! It had been a long time since Linkin Park had been to France, but it's been even longer since they've been to Texas! Their last show in the state was in 2015, performing at the Bud Light River City Rockfest in May. This set featured a rare 'A Line In The Sand' performance fresh off its debut earlier in the month, as well as a stripped down version of their second collaboration with Steve Aoki, 'Darker Than Blood.' The extended guitar solo bridge to 'What I've Done' was longer than usual due to Chester missing his cues twice to come back in. This show was a festival performance - their last headlining show in the state was in 2014, on the aforementioned Carnivores Tour, where they made two stops: Dallas and The Woodlands that September. The band held their 11th LPU Summit at The Woodlands show, treating LPU members to a VIP experience with the band as well as an exclusive acoustic performance of 'Final Masquerade.' Needless to say, it'd been a long time coming for Linkin Park's return. The band have never been strangers to Texas, however. The band made another two stops to the state on 2012's Honda Civic Tour, again hitting the Dallas and Woodlands combo. These shows featured some eclectic sets from the band, featuring new tracks like 'In My Remains' and 'Victimized (w/ QWERTY)' and even opening up in The Woodlands with 'A Place For My Head.' The band closed 2011's A Thousand Suns North American Tour with a pair of rescheduled dates in Dallas and Houston, after the initial pair of shows were cancelled a few weeks prior due to Chester being ill. These shows featured a wide variety of new A Thousand Suns songs like 'Burning In The Skies,' 'Waiting For The End,' and 'The Catalyst,' while still finding time to treat fans: the legendary 'A Place For My Head' verse and bridge combo for 'Bleed It Out' was born at the Houston show, where Chester sang "You will never get the best of me" for the first time during that extended bridge. Linkin Park performing 'What I've Done' live at the Bud Light River City Rockfest in San Antonio, Texas on May 24, 2015 featuring a super extended guitar solo from Brad Delson after Chester missed his cue to come back in. Projekt Revolution 2008 also concluded with a pair of shows in Dallas and The Woodlands, bringing fans a second wave of Minutes To Midnight nastiness with everything from 'Wake 2.0' and a new version of 'Cure For The Itch' to a Street Drum Corps intro to 'No More Sorrow' and 'Crawling' with Chris Cornell. Projekt Revolution 2007 was even more kind to Texas with three shows in the state: Selma, Dallas, and Woodlands. Across three consecutive nights, Texas got the full Minutes To Midnight experience as the band rocked the stage with three different setlists and loads of tracks, both new and old. The energy must've been something else - enough for Chester to pull off the full 'Given Up' scream at the Selma show - one of only three times this ever happened! The Meteora Tour was further proof that Texas seems to be the spot to see a Linkin Park show. Projekt Revolution 2004 brought three consecutive shows (the first time they ran the Dallas, Selma, and Woodlands trio), seeing the band deliver legendary moments like the Hip-Hop Medley featuring parts of 'Step Up,' 'Nobody's Listening,' and 'It's Goin' Down,' the Blood, Anger, Suffering Outro Transition between 'Figure.09' and 'From The Inside,' and even Bert McCracken from The Used guesting on 'Faint.' And who can forget the band's most iconic Texas performances: their Summer Sanitarium shows with Metallica in 2003 in Houston and Irving, immortalized on the band's first live DVD and album, Live In Texas. These shows almost don't need an introduction, as they are amongst the top benchmark performances in all documented Linkin Park history. From the hits like 'Numb' and 'Breaking The Habit' to deeper cuts like 'P5hng Me A*wy' and 'By Myself,' these shows had everything any old-school Linkin Park fan could need. Linkin Park frequented Texas the most in the careers during the Hybrid Theory days. The cycle's final tour, the very first Projekt Revolution in 2002, saw the band stop at Fort Worth, offering up some really rare tracks like 'And One' and a cover of Deftones' 'My Own Summer (Shove It).' Five stops were made in Texas in 2001, the last of which was in November on the Family Values Tour, featuring Stone Temple Pilots, Staind, and more. The band has always loved a Texas triple-feature, and they did so on Ozzfest 2001 with shows in Selma, Lubbock, and Dallas. Even earlier in 2001, the band performed at the Woodlands' Buzzfest VII festival, as well. The band's first tours ever in 2000 brought them to Texas every couple of weeks with eight total shows: one in Dallas on P.O.D.'s Kings Of The Game Tour in November, two in Dallas and Austin on the Kottonmouth Kings' Ridin' High Tour (and a possible third show in Houston that we aren't even sure occurred), and an unreal five shows (Amarillo, Dallas 1, Dallas 2, Corpus Christi, and Austin) on Union Underground's An Education In Rebellion Tour. Tallying it all up, that'll make 32 (maybe 33) shows in Texas in total, with 11 (just about a third) of those being in Dallas! Will show #12 be the best yet? Linkin Park performing 'Given Up' live in Selma, Texas on August 3, 2007. This was one of three performances ever that Chester nailed the full scream during the bridge! What can we expect at this next show in Dallas? This will be the band's biggest show in the United States since 2014, their first in a stadium-level venue. The new production will be a first for the U.S. as well, giving fans who traveled to a show in September a new look at the set. The band will surely be playing the three released songs from From Zero: 'The Emptiness Machine,' 'Heavy Is A Crown,' and 'Over Each Other' will set the venue alight, and will be the first time the latter two have been performed in the country. It looks like the sets haven't changed significantly since September, so Set B ('Burn It Down' interludes and 'A Place For My Head') or Set C ('Iridescent' interludes and 'Keys To The Kingdom') with the addition of 'Over Each Other' seem to be next in line. The band rehearsed pretty intensely throughout October, though, so it's possible they have another surprise or two under their sleeves for these upcoming shows. Perhaps a new rotation song like 'No More Sorrow' (especially pertinent given the U.S. election results...) or 'From The Inside' will be subbed in, and with the release of From Zero on the horizon, we can't help but hope for another preview at a new song ('Casualty' and 'Overflow' seem to be two favorites by fans who have heard the album and the band) in Texas. Helmet is opening for them at this show as well - could we finally see the live debut of 'All For Nothing' with Page Hamilton this year? Will #JusticeForTheHuntingParty strike again? Hamilton performed with the band at a the Relief Live! event in 2015 and they didn't perform the song, but the band has a new mindset now. Time will tell - what would you like to see switch up in the current set? The band has quite an arsenal of opening acts prepared for this show: Bad Omens, Helmet, and Jean Dawson will be starting the night off. Jean Dawson is an indie artist mixing elements of hip-hop and pop into his dramatic and emotional soundscapes, known for songs like 'P4IN' and 'MENTHOL*.' Linkin Park fans may be more familiar with Helmet, a staple band in the hardcore and alternative metal scene. Lead singer Page Hamilton featured on 'All For Nothing' from The Hunting Party AND has guested with the band before on other songs, so it's definitely possible we see the tour's first guest come out! Helmet are known for their songs 'Unsung,' 'Milquetoast,' and more. Bad Omens are the a part of the newest wave of bands that have broken through in the metal world, already a huge band in their own right and ready to win over more Linkin Park fans. Clearly inspired by Linkin Park in both sonic and emotional terms, Bad Omens' sound is built to pierce through their listener with soaring guitars, screams, and beautiful atmosphere in between. You can expect to hear some of their most popular songs, including 'Just Pretend' and 'THE DEATH OF PEACE AND MIND.' If you're going to the show, who are you most excited to hear? Page Hamilton from Helmet ripping a guitar solo with Linkin Park during 'Bleed It Out' at their show for Relief Live! in Los Angeles, California on November 14, 2015. Will we see Hamilton come out with the band in Dallas? Who'll be heading to the show? LPLive staff members Hahninator (Mark), GlassCastles (Nick), and Ben Newberry will be at the show, so be sure to say what's up if you see them! Weatherman Rogue Soul reporting a pretty wet day for the DFW area, so be prepared to get wet if you plan on waiting outside, and watch out for possible lightning! Dallas is outside the area that should be concerned about severe weather, but all the same, be weary. An official merchandise booth will be open outside of the stadium starting at 2pm, so if you want to go early and grab some merch, get it done! Linkin Park's From Zero World Tour continues next week in South America with their very first show in Colombia as well as a pair of shows in São Paulo, Brazil celebrating the release of From Zero. The band have also begun announcing festival appearances in 2025, with shows penned in for Las Vegas at Sick New World and Ohio for Sonic Temple. Listening parties for From Zero have started kicking up around the world, so be sure to check out our full list of them to see if one's happening near you! And if you're in Australia, Canada, or Brazil, be sure to check out the new pop-up events the band have announced for you, as well. It's time to really get back in business! The second leg of the From Zero World Tour kicks off today, November 3, 2024 in Nanterre, France at the Paris La Défense Arena, with Sleep Token as support. Let's pick up from where we left off: the band wrapped up their first run of shows back on tour back in September, at the Inspire Arena in Incheon, South Korea. It was the first time the band had performed in the country since 2011, and the fans definitely let it be known that it had been far too long. Even Mike remarked after the show, "I think that was the loudest crowd yet," and we can't help but agree. A sold out arena sang Linkin Park's songs back at them almost as loud as they could play them, as the band delivered new hits like 'The Emptiness Machine' and 'Heavy Is The Crown' while still finding time for a mixture of fan-favorites ('Papercut,' 'Lying From You,' and more) and deep cuts (namely 'My December' and 'A Place For My Head'). The show concluded very grateful performance of 'Bleed It Out,' with Mike rapping a verse of the Xero song 'Reading My Eyes' over the bridge as a final treat for the amazing fans at the show. These shows have been unforgettable for both the band and the fans, and this is certain to continue in France! The band's performance of 'The Emptiness Machine' in Incheon was shown during the NRJ Music Awards in Cannes, France on November 1, 2024. Linkin Park's last performance in France was on their final tour with Chester - the One More Light European Tour in the summer of 2017. The band had two festival stops on the tour: the opening date of the tour at Download Paris and a show in Clisson at Hellfest. The band laid out new tracks like 'Heavy' and 'Battle Symphony' (which received pretty polarizing reactions at the Hellfest festival, but the band ultimately won the crowd over) while still finding time to refresh on older tracks, like bringing out a brand new intro featuring 'Remember The Name' for 'Waiting For The End.' These shows also featured the beloved 'Fallout' and 'Roads Untraveled' mashup intro that led straight into 'Talking To Myself!' The band's last headlining show in the country was almost ten years ago in November 2014 on The Hunting Party European Tour, featuring a huge set with heavy new tracks like 'Guilty All The Same' and 'Final Masquerade' and some special moments, like 'Runaway' leading into 'Wastelands' and 'The Catalyst' being sung over the 'Bleed It Out' bridge. Austin Carlisle from Of Mice & Men joined the band for 'Faint.' It's certainly been a long time coming for Linkin Park's return to France, and it's safe to say that this show will definitely line up with their hefty legacy of shows there! While missing France on the Living Things cycle, the band's shows there on the A Thousand Suns cycle were nothing short of legendary. The band performed at the Main Square Festival on July 1, 2011 toward the end of their second European Tour of the cycle, and though this was the first show ever to not feature 'One Step Closer' in the setlist at all, the band still brought a powerful show with new tracks like 'Iridescent' and 'When They Come For Me,' as well as other hard-hitters like 'From The Inside' and 'Crawling.' On the first European leg in 2010, the band performed in Paris the day after the 10th anniversary of Hybrid Theory, a moment they had to celebrate in style. And what other way to celebrate than performing 'A Place For My Head' in its entirety for the only time on the entire A Thousand Suns Tour?! This performance is one that hardcore fans know very well, and we simply can't have a pre-show for Paris without revisiting it. Linkin Park performing 'A Place For My Head' in full for the only time on the A Thousand Suns World Tour on October 24, 2010 in Paris, France. The band visited France a handful of times on the Minutes To Midnight World Tour. On the 2008 Winter European Tour, the band made two stops there, the latter of which was in Paris. The band opened with 'Wake' and 'Given Up,' exploding into one of their best setlists ever featuring a double encore of a rare 'In Between' and 'What I've Done' with its legendary AMBO Intro followed by 'Bleed It Out' with a drum solo and 'Faint' with its massive extended outro. The band's first show in Amneville, France on the tour was perhaps even more massive, with an absolutely devastating intro run of 'What I've Done' with its AMBO Intro, 'Faint,' 'No More Sorrow,' 'Somewhere I Belong,' 'Lying From You,' 'From The Inside,' and 'Points Of Authority' with an 'In Stereo' verse over the intro. Just nasty. The encores followed suit, the first featuring 'My December' and 'Breaking The Habit' and the second featuring 'A Place For My Head' with a guitar solo intro and 'One Step Closer' with its then-new extended outro. The band stopped there earlier on in the tour on the very first proper leg of it in May 2007, whipping out a 'One Step Closer' show opener as well as rare tracks like 'The Little Things Give You Away' and the piano version of 'Pushing Me Away,' on top of support from Thirty Seconds To Mars. One of the very first shows of the Meteora World Tour happened in Paris, early on in the LP Underground Tour. This show featured many rare Meteora tracks fresh off the burner, including 'Hit The Floor,' 'Easier To Run,' and 'Session.' The band played many shows in France in 2001 once they broke through to Europe following the release of Hybrid Theory. Their own headlining tour of Europe came in September 2001, with a show in Paris that featured a bunch of old specialties like 'And One' and 'Step Up,' as well as a brief tease of Guns N' Roses' ' Sweet Child O' Mine' before the show ended. During their opening spot on the Deftones' Back To School Tour in March 2001, the band played shows in Rezé and Paris, introducing Deftones fans to their music with the likes of 'By Myself' and 'Forgotten.' The band's very first show in Europe whatsoever happened at the start of the year in January, followed by their first TV appearance the next day, where they played 'One Step Closer' on Nulle Part Ailleurs. France has always been a part of Linkin Park's history, and that's definitely continuing today. Linkin Park's first TV appearance not only in Europe, but ever happened on the French TV show Nulle Part Ailleurs in January 2001. Back to the present, will Linkin Park have any surprises in store for us as they return to the stage? The band graced the stage yesterday for the Worlds 2024 Opening Ceremony, where they graced us with a special extended version of 'Heavy Is The Crown' with a new intro and bridge. While it's likely that these extensions were just meant for the theatrics of the event, it would be nice to see live variations get added to the new songs - a more stripped down version of the song is coming on the official Arcane Season 2 soundtrack later this month, so perhaps that could be incorporated into it! The band have been hard at rehearsals for much of October, so it's looking likely that at least a few changes will be thrown into the existing set. Perhaps another old song like 'No More Sorrow' or 'From The Inside' will get an Emily debut, or perhaps some new songs will be thrown into the mix: Emily herself claimed she's very excited to play 'Two Faced,' 'Overflow,' and 'Casualty' from the new record. The band has also released 'Over Each Other' from From Zero since they played their last show, so it's likely we'll see that get added into the set as well. Mike did say they are working on adding a new song or two to the set, so we'll have to see what goes down in Paris live! On top of the possible setlist changes, the band will be debuting their stadium stage at this show, not performing in the round on a 360 stage in the middle of the venue for this one (here's a peek at the stage setup), so it'll be interesting to see how everything translates to a different set up. Comment below what your guesses are as to what changes will be made to the set. The band has invited quite a lineup of artists to open up for them on this next run of shows, bringing in some of the new generation of rock music that they helped inspire to their stage. In Paris, the band will be preceded by none other than the theatrical and massive Sleep Token! I personally had a chance to see them at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City earlier this year, and I can wholeheartedly say that they put on a really incredible show. Known for their blending of metal and electronic and pop elements, Sleep Token have risen in the last few years as one of rock's most promising new acts. From dramatic rockers like 'Ascensionism' and 'Granite' to more emotional, atmospheric tracks like 'The Night Does Not Belong To God' and 'Euclid,' Sleep Token's sound will definitely resonate to those who have appreciated the more experimental qualities to Linkin Park's music. If you're going to Paris, be sure to arrive early enough to see them! Who's going to the show?! Weatherman Rogue Soul reporting in a pretty chilly day (~9°C) with sun and some clouds, so bundle up and get ready to jam if you're heading to Nanterre! An official merchandise booth will be located outside the venue starting at 10am, so if you're in the area and want some merch, stop by early! Linkin Park head back to the United States for a massive stadium show in Dallas, Texas on November 8 before heading down to South America for their very first show in Colombia and a pair of shows in São Paulo coinciding with the release of From Zero. For those excited to hear the album, the band will be hosting a huge array of listening parties around the world over the next weeks to give fans a chance to hear the album in its entirety before its out - we've compiled a full listing of them all, so check it out and see if anything's going on near you! As always, we'll have you covered with everything going on at this show and the forthcoming tour and in the Linkin Park world, so be sure to sign up on the forums and share your voice, and follow us on social media (Twitter/X, Instagram, and Facebook) to stay caught up with everything! Linkin Park's run of pre-tour promo appearances continues (or starts, I guess) on November 2, 2024 with an appearance in London, England for the League Of Legends Worlds 2024 Opening Ceremony at The O2! Linkin Park will be part of the opening ceremony for this year's world championship playoffs - and given that the single 'Heavy Is The Crown' is the Worlds theme song this year, it's no real mystery what they'll be playing here. In fact, the official page for League Of Legends Esports lists all the performances out ahead of time, so there's very little to leave to the imagination when it comes to the music at this. The lineup includes Ashnikko with 'Paint The Town Blue,' Mars Atlas of Forts and Tiffany Aris with 'Still Here,' and of course Linkin Park with 'Heavy Is The Crown.' We're not quite sure if this is the exact sequence the ceremony will go through, but we know Linkin Park will bring the music to a huge finale with 'Heavy Is The Crown.' Being that this is an Esports event, you can be very certain that there will be a wide array of very accessible ways to watch this all go down. The image above includes all the info you need - the livestream will start at 7am PST / 2pm GMT and will be streamed live on lolesports.com. We'll be watching along with the rest of you, so stay tuned with us and send us your reactions to the event! The production is bound to be insane for this one. After this show, the band head to Paris, France to kick off the second batch of tour dates this year with a massive arena show at the Paris La Défense Arena on November 3. The band have been rehearsing all of October for these upcoming shows, so who knows what's in store for us! Be sure to follow us on social media (Twitter/X, Instagram, and Facebook) for coverage on all the madness coming up in the next few weeks!

Things are heating back up in the Linkin Park world as we enter From Zero release month and the next leg of the From Zero World Tour! As the band begins to kick the tour back up with shows in Paris, Dallas, and São Paulo, they will be offering up some promotional performances in Europe before the big shows begin. The first of those will be for the NRJ Music Awards in Cannes, France on November 1, 2024. The event is held at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannes and will broadcasted on TF1. Now, we're not entirely sure ourselves what the situation is with this performance. Based off of the announcement, it seems unclear whether or not the band will be performing in Cannes themselves or if the performance will be pre-recorded. It's looking more likely to be the latter, though what that entails itself is also uncertain. Billie Eilish, who has also been announced as a performer at this event, will be performing a show in Atlanta the day of the award show, so it seems at least some performances will be pre-recorded. The band has been rehearsing thoroughly for much of October in preparation of this next batch of shows, so they'll have had plenty of time in Los Angeles to have done some sort of private performance for this show - perhaps similarly to their performance for the Rio+Social event in 2012, where they showed a couple of songs from a Third Encore rehearsal ahead of their Music For Relief / LPU show a few days later. The band will likely just be playing one song - most likely from the new album - and it really could be any of the three we've heard so far! 'The Emptiness Machine' has taken the world by storm, so it seems like the most likely contender given that it one of the band's biggest songs in their career. 'Heavy Is The Crown' is another possibility, knowing that it'll be the focus of their next promo performance the next day in London for the League Of Legends Worlds Opening Ceremony. New single 'Over Each Other' could receive its "live" debut as well here, seeing Emily take the spotlight at a different type of event for the first time with the band. We'll just have to wait and see what happens! Linkin Park's last performance at an award show was in April 2017, when they performed at the ECHO music awards in Berlin, Germany, performing 'Heavy' with Kiiara. The NRJ Music Awards kick off at 9:00pm CET on November 1, 2024 and will be broadcast live on TF1. On top of their performance, the band are also up for the award for Best International Group, up against Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, Måneskin, and OneRepublic. For those outside of France, we'll be seeing if we can find anyway to tune in from abroad so we can watch as well - be sure to follow us on social media (Twitter/X, Instagram, and Facebook) for coverage on the band's upcoming tour dates and the release of From Zero on November 15!

Episode 3 will not take as long, promise 😁
-
What a lineup. Only problem with this festival is, how can you possibly keep making this sort of lineup a one-day event 😂
