  1. Anyone has that stock image they used to create the LPU 9 cover?
  2. Steve Aoki's new album entitled "Neon Future II" is set to be released on May 12th, 2015. Back in 2013, it was revealed that Steve Aoki and Linkin Park had been working on four or five songs together. Only few months after the release of their first collaborative track, A Light That Never Comes, they went back to the studio to work on new music for Aoki's new album, Neon Future. A Billboard article revealed this new track would be called Horizons. About the song, Steve said: "’Horizons’ definitely has the definitive ‘Neon Future’ sound. It’s not quite done yet, but it’s the track I have worked on the most of all the songs on the album and I can’t wait for people to hear it." @steve aoki now #neonfutureII is 99.3% finished... onward to the future @steve aoki Mastering session for #neonfutureII as we speak. @LucaPretolesi Full day #mastering session with @steveaoki for #neonfutureII @StudioDMI #STUDIOLIFE @steveaoki Final stage of #neonfutureII. #mastering @lucadigitalboy @steveaoki #neonfutureII 99.7% finished. @steveaoki Finished up the studio part of #neonfutureII and called my brother @thesharkdaymond to mothafuckin' celebrate with some mothafuckin' tea mothafuckaaaaasssss!! @steveaoki Finished up the studio side of #neonfutureII!!!! Now onto wrapping up all da paperwork and all that red tape signed off. This part sucks. Now that the album is completed, it will be released May 12, 2015 with Steve saying, "Neon Future II coming 5/12 ft. new music w/ @LinkinPark @SnoopDogg @RiversCuomo @NERVOmusic @MatthewKoma + more TBA!" 3/1 EDIT: Steve Aoki performed a live version of the song at his concert in Chicago, Illinois that was broadcasted via Yahoo! Live. Download + listen to the track here! The song is a mashup and has drops by R3hab (Samurai) and DVBBS & MOTi (This Is Dirty). Lyrics here. 4/2 EDIT: "Horizons" is now "Darker Than Blood," and is the lead single from Aoki's upcoming album. The single will be released on April 14! What do you think?
  3. Wind-Up wanted Amy to ask Mike because they were recording Fallen at NRG at the same time LP was recording Meteora. Amy didn't think the song needed rap vocals in the first place and didn't want to ask him, because it was basically just a case of Wind-Up trying to make Evanescence's first single sound like LP since they were the "big thing" at the time. Amy talked to Chester about it and asked him for advice, he told her to do what she wanted and not listen to the label, so she never asked Mike. Then the label gave Amy a big "fuck you" and brought in Paul McCoy from 12 Stones (another Wind-Up band) to do the vocals she didn't want them to force into the song in the first place.
  4. Yes. Same thing with LPU 12. My favorite is: "This may be the first time I've ever heard this one!" (Asbestos)
  5. Can anybody transcribe it?
  6. Sounds great! I was just thinking about it yesterday. That you could add all these new conversations you had with the band members to "The Grey Daze Story". Can't wait to see it.
  7. Can anyone post the screenshot? We had GATS listed as "Bunky [or Blinky]":
  8. According to the Facebook post, part 2 is coming next Friday.
  9. Jonathan said he left Grey Daze in 1995. So the shows mentioned by Sean (LA, San Diego, Las Vegas, San Franciso, etc.) happened before that.
  10. Link.

  12. mp3 download.
  13. In case you haven't seen it yet, there's a list of all available proshot recordings: http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=8358&do=findComment&comment=158402 I hope it helps. I think it would be great if you could manage to use more footage from the Hybrid Theory and Meteora days.
  14. WTF? http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=11479
  15. Okay, I guess I didn't quote the right part.

  18. Wow! Can't believe the links are still working. Funny how it is tagged as "Mark and Mike". I remember the Barack Your World website only had the music video. I think these download links were just something people found... I could be wrong though. Since we're talking about White Pegacorn, I remember their YouTube channel had a fake list of band members. Anyone still have it?
  19. If I remember right, there was no mp3 download of Barack Your World. The first time we heard the song was in a YouTube video with nothing on it (just a black screen). A few days after, the music video (and the website) were launched. Right after the song was recorded, Mike told us to "go find it". I think there was a mp3 somewhere out there, someone found it and uploaded it to YouTube. If you read Mike's post, you'll see he said "I didn't put it up". "Magic Doors" didn't have any video by the way. Just a still image.

  21. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQwc8ryP7b8 Mark Wakefield credited for "One Step Closer". WTF? Emile Haynie isn't credited for "A Line In The Sand" on BMI but he is credited on ASCAP. Did he really work on this song?
