LPCatalog Exclusives: Linkin Park/Jay-Z Mix
lpliveusername replied to michalangelo's topic in Everything Linkin Park
It was made by this guy: http://web.archive.org/web/20080912003655/http://www.al-b3.com/indx.htm The links on his website are still working. You can download both the explicit and edited versions if you want to compare them. It's in my "Fake Linkin Park Songs" list. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jyz8FrMPe7c -
Anybody knows where this is from?

http://lplive.net/shows/db/julienk0607/20070116 Marked with the setlist icon here but the show page doesn't have a setlist. http://lplive.net/shows/db/julienk0607/20071231 All the other JK DJs shows have "JK DJs Show" on "Event" except for this one. The note is also missing in the 2006-2007 page. http://lplive.net/shows/db/julienk1213/20120212 Soundcheck isn't listed in the setlist. -
We have a list of proshot recordings. You can start from there. http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=8358&do=findComment&comment=158402

Don't know if anyone noticed but I've also been listing quotes about music videos for a while. These days I added quotes from the "Lost In The Echo" and "Final Masquerade" directors. The list already included quotes about the "One Step Closer", "Pts.Of.Athrty", "Enth E ND", "P5hng Me A*wy", "Given Up", "What I've Done" and "Iridescent" music videos, but always from band members. What do you think about this? Should I keep adding these things? Here's the list of updates by the way.

Thank you very much! That's amazing! Yeah, shouldn't it be in the first post?

Phoenix: "Currently close to the venue, hoping the weather calms down so they can play the show." LPU: "Who is your favorite bass player?" Phoenix: "Favorite bass player is prob McCartney!" LPU: "What's your favourite song to play live right now? (Mine's A Line In The Sand)" Phoenix: "A Line in the Sand is my favorite live song right now... Always fun playing new stuf" Phoenix: "Brad is back in action! Chillin' with him right now " LPU: "Are you guys back in the studio?" Phoenix: Always writing... always trying to create LPU: "Will LP ever tour with 30stm again???" Phoenix: "I'd love to at some point. Those guys are great to tour with." LPU: "Are you gonna reschedule the THP tour with Of mice & men?" Phoenix: "Tour can't really be rescheduled, we had to cancel so we could refund tickets" Phoenix: "Having said that, we would love to tour more with OM&M and Rise Against!" LPU: "How many different bass guitars do you have?" Phoenix: "Lots of bases in different spots all over the world, but I have 2 favorites!" LPU: "Favorite music genre?" Phoenix: "I've never been a genre guy... I actually think genres are only helpful in a store setting" LPU: "will you get an apple watch?" Phoenix: "Apple watch... Not sure I'm on board with that. I'm interested in it, but not sold yet" LPU: "How long do you rehearse a new song before playing it live?" Phoenix: "Depends on the song. We try to all come to rehearsal knowing the new song, and then figuring out... The arrangement. But different songs are more challenging to figure out how to play live... for example, Blackout was a bit of a monster!" LPU: "How's your relationship with Siri? lol" Phoenix: "Siri and I generally are on good terms, but we have communication issues" LPU: "Did you attend Coachella?" Phoenix: "I've never gonne" LPU: "how many hours a day do you sleep?" Phoenix: "Somewhere between 2 and 8 depending on circumstances Emoticon grin" LPU: "when are you guys coming back to usa?" Phoenix: "We are in the US right now!" LPU: "This !" Phoenix: "Costa Rica looks nice!" (When asked about his favorite metal band) LPU: "Instead of it being a rubber band, it's made out of metal." Phoenix: "I like this!" LPU: "Batman or superman?" Phoenix: "Batman for sure. So much cooler. But Superman would win in a fight, no contest" LPU: "What do you think of Jared being the new Joker?" Phoenix: "I think it's going to be awesome! Can't wait to see it!" LPU: "Best moment of 2014?" Phoenix: "My chat from 2014"

2015.05.17 - Columbus, OH - Rock On The Range

If you still don't know where that is, use Ctrl+F to find it. -
I remember Astat saying the single version of "White Noise" had a different mix from the album version. The album version from A Thousand Suns is also different from the album version on the single. On A Thousand Suns, the song starts with a piano note while the single version doesn't have it.

No. Nobody ever called "It's Goin' Down" a X-Ecutioners cover or "We Made It" a Busta Rhymes cover, so I don't see why we should do it with "Darker Than Blood". -

I think he was trying to say that what Vesanic wants to do had already been done.

I don't even know why he is complaining. Rock In Rio is happening in Brazil in September with an amazing line-up. -

Ferropolis is the only Dead By Sunrise show with the official release listed as a source. All the others aren't listed: http://lplive.net/shows/db/deadbysunrise/20090704 http://lplive.net/shows/db/deadbysunrise/20091007 http://lplive.net/shows/db/deadbysunrise/20090730D http://lplive.net/shows/db/deadbysunrise/20091212 I think there should be a note on the Ferropolis show page explaining that "Crawl Back In" from this show was released as being from Sonisphere. -

The Ultimate Working Titles Thread

Yes, this makes sense. Mike said he got the idea for "Until It's Gone" while he was working with Steve Aoki on "A Light That Never Comes".
