Song is kinda weak but it's very catchy. Going to be interesting to hear the rest of the album. Out of the 3 songs I heard live this summer, this one was my least favorite but the album version is pretty dope.

Of the 3 they played live this summer, Fire is my favorite. However, Walking In Circles beats them all by far. Let Down is godly but the album version sounds weak from what I've heard. WIC is just incredible to me, I really like it.

Yeah DIME doesn't allow Metallica. Another one of their stupid rules, lol. Blame Metallica actually, DIME is just following what they say. Metallica used to be open taping but they sold out and now won't let any fans share any recordings they made of the band even when they were open. LAME. So blame Metallica, their management and/or their label for you not being able to download ND/CBI lol.

LP will be playing at the Shanghai Stadium in Shanghai, China for their first of two shows in China that will wrap up the Asian leg of their 2009 touring. After these two shows, the other being Macao on the 16th, the band will head to the USA and play one final show in Pomona, CA on the 22nd. Will Mike do anything else cool over 'Points'? Maybe a verse from 'Papercut'? Any other cool ideas that you've suggested? Also, a torrent of the Sonisphere UK TV broadcast has been posted on Demonoid, which you may download here. Thanks to YOU GUYS suggesting it, Mike rapped verse one of 'Dedicated' over the intro to 'Points Of Authority' at the last show in Taipei! This is the live debut of any kind for the song, which is definitely a huge rarity by itself. Thankfully we are getting a DSP for this show, but you can check out a low-res YouTube video of it here. Lots of highlights for the 2009 tour - 'Reading My Eyes' over the 'Points' outro, 'Dedicated' over the intro, 'High Voltage/Bloc Party' over the intro...'New Divide'...'Hands Held High / KRWLNG'....Dead By Sunrise. This is turning out to be a great tour! He also did 'Step Up' over 'Points' the other day, which is the first time he's done that since 2007. Mike had this to add: "...I threw some of "Step Up" over it the other night, and "Dedicated" last night. Dedicated sounded pretty good, in particular..." Thanks Mike! I can't wait to see what he has in store for 'Points' in Shanghai, Macao, and Pomona. Do you think he'll keep the song in the set for next year and keep doing requested verses over it?

CBI will be out before the 18th via the DBS MySpace. It will be in a few days. Let Down I have no idea about, Fire 9/9 I guess. Full album Oct 13, lmao. Maybe they will play full shows soon and we'll get recordings.

Well LPLive, I think it's time for some new interviews. I will be doing a new staff interview very soon as well as one from just a general LP fan, but I wanted to ask you guys a question.... Who would you like to see featured in a new LPL interview? I'm talking like...someone outside of LPLive. Maybe a member of a band LP has worked with (Ryu?), maybe someone in the crew for the live shows, or maybe someone that works in their management? Suggest some jobs you'd like to have an interview/perspective from or some names and we'll see what we can do for you! I'm interested in what you guys are thinking. We already have a few lined up but it'd be good to get an idea as to what the members want to see in terms of an interview with someone. Ryan Shuck (Julien-K / Orgy / Dead By Sunrise) was our latest, maybe we can beat that one? Previously we've also had Pooch (the live engineer of the band), Cyclefly (who worked with Chester on a collaboration), and Greg Watermann (the official photographer of LP).

Linkin Park will soon be playing at the Taipei County Stadium in Taipei, Taiwan as part of the 2009 Summer Rock Summit that is going on there. Hopefully the weather calms down a bit for the show - Taiwan has been hit hard by typhoons recently. You could say this is a make-up show from last year since the band canceled its Taipei show that was a part of the Music For Relief Asian Benefit Tour. Taipei will be the first of three shows in a row that LP will be playing as (unofficial, but good enough for LPL) make-up shows from last year, with Shanghai and Macao coming next. Three more shows are all that remains in Asia for LP, and then they wrap up in Pomona for 2009. This is a big show for 'Points Of Authority' - what will Mike rap over the beginning and end? Speaking of 'Points', we still haven't heard if he did something great in Okinawa! Where are our Asian setlist reporters? We are still waiting on Osaka and Okinawa information. Anyone from LPL going to Taipei?
