  1. Yep it's the same formula and I agree - they need to change it. It is incredible live but listening to a recording, I hit skip on like half the set. Numb live needs like...a fucking intro or something. They need to change stuff, lol. I really rock out and enjoy it live but I do agree with you that they need to change the formula and do it differently in 2010. I was really bummed by the setlist for this tour until I saw a show and also saw Mike changing stuff up. I thought 09 would be the year they did some By Myself or With You or something, but I guess that's next year, haha. Still cool though. We got Mike to do fucking Reading My Eyes over POA!
  2. Uh, yeah there was dude. Every venue has a box office no matter what. No matter what kind of venue, it has a box office. There has to be a place to pick up Will Call tickets, VIP passes, guest list passes, LPU meet and greet passes and all of that shit. A place to buy tickets. You were sitting like 50 feet from it when we saw you. You took a picture with us of the DBS sign RIGHT next to the box office for Stuttgart. It was some tiny little box window thing, but it was there. Grafen will have a weird one too but there will be one - they have to have one for these kind of shows.
  3. With all due respect, I think you are incorrect. In fact, I know you are wrong. Session is an excellent opener. I've seen it three times going into Given Up on this tour. Two were indoors but the Stuttgart outside venue in the daylight is EXACTLY how it was performed in Knebworth, so I know exactly what I'm talking about. Session into Given Up is quite solid my friend. It fades in and all of a sudden, BAM the instrumental kicks in and the LP banner starts going up. Everyone stares at the stage, throws their hands up and sees Joe rocking it up on Mt Hahn. Then the band comes out and rocks it with Given Up. Essentially Session is just a show intro and Given Up really opens the set song-wise. It's really good, I see nothing wrong with it at all. How the fuck is it a failure....? NMS long intro is still in there and it gets the pits going every damn time. I'd rather have Session and Given Up open the show with the NMS long intro later in the set than have NMS long intro open the set and have no Session at all. Watch the Stuttgart videos, Session is great. Nothing has failed. This is a very solid tour, the crowds are responding great to the band outside of the DBS stuff. LP is rocking it HARD every night. They don't talk to the crowd much but they bring the energy song after song and really get the crowd into it. I haven't seen Joe Hahn have this much energy in years - he is absolutely killing it on stage. Mike Shinoda is going fucking crazy changing the setlists during the tour, that is extremely badass. Lots and LOTS of pure energy from the band and some A plus solid performances. New Divide starting the encore is the best song to open an encore since Crawling in 2004. The crowd goes fucking OFF for ND, Faint and OSC to close it. I am really enjoying this tour - it blows PR08 USA the fuck out of the water in terms of energy, the setlist and band performance. Totally destroys it. LP is doing really well on this tour. The whole band is hopping around like hell on stage, rocking it start to end. No longer are Brad and Joe just sitting there chilling during songs...those days are gone. I am one of the most hardcore fans of the band and I am really really enjoying these shows. The setlists may not have the older songs in them that the fans want, but shit the shows are incredible. And obviously I am not the only one that thinks that since the reviews are great for every show I've been to.
  4. What's up LPLive nation? The next performance is the final show of 2009 for the LPLive crew (excluding me going to Epicenter). [AndOne] and I have had a blast going from his house to the shows - Graz, Zurich, and Stuttgart. We've met a lot of LPLive'ers out there and had a totally great time with you all. We will post pictures from our meetings and all of that in a few days, don't worry. Grafen will be our last show, but possibly the best. Check out how interesting the venue is. Anyway, we are doing one final LPLive Meeting after the show - we'd love to say hey to you all. In Stuttgart we did one at the box office but some of you missed us. If you want to meet us in Grafen, you need to find the box office (Kasse) somehow because we will be there after the show for about an hour or so . See you there hopefully! Anyone going to the show? Excited?
  5. Setlist updated and posted. Thanks to Wil for the info.
  6. The show is over - the eighth show of the tour. The setlist page can be found HERE. Who went? How was it? Setlist: 01. Session 02. Given Up 03. From The Inside 04. Somewhere I Belong 05. No More Sorrow 06. Lying From You 07. Points Of Authority (w/ Petrified verse 1 intro, A Place For My Head outro) 08. What I've Done 09. Leave Out All The Rest 10. Numb 11. Breaking The Habit 12. Shadow Of The Day 13. Hands Held High (Verse 1 A Cappella) (Transition ->) 14. Crawling (w/ HHH Verse 2 intro over KRWLNG) 15. In The End 16. Bleed It Out ------------------------------ 17. Fire (Dead By Sunrise) 18. Crawl Back In (Dead By Sunrise) 19. My Suffering (Dead By Sunrise) ------------------------------ 20. New Divide 21. Faint 22. One Step Closer Looks like Stuttgart's POA was legendary. The Meet & Greet for Sonisphere was 13 members meeting Rob and Brad. Maybe we can get Mike tomorrow in Grafen and request something else from him.
  7. As you all know, Dead By Sunrise played three songs in Stuttgart. Joe_LP, a member of the staff, alerted me to these videos that were posted on YouTube today. Check them out, they look really good to me - the best I've seen from DBS. They are in High Def too. Enjoy! Check out Ryan Shuck of Julien-K going fucking crazy on guitar!
  8. We will get it, be patient. Wilderness went and he is a loyal staff member, he will get us the info don't worry.
  9. Germany is better, lolol. I had a fucking BLAST in Stuttgart, oh my god. http://www.rc-luftbilder.de/ferropolis.htm Check out the venue for tomorrow. Oh man.
  10. Thread winner, I agree 100 percent. Some DBS songs are good. WIC is incredible. My Suffering is some total shit in my opinion from what I've heard. Fire has grown on me...still not liking Crawl Back In much. Let Down is incredible. It's half and half for me. Gotta wait till I hear the full CD in October. I love MTM. Incredible record. But HT and Meteora fucking destroy it.
  11. How did he do it in 2008 then at all of those shows?
  12. They play shit over the PA to soundcheck, LP hasn't done a real soundcheck themselves in god knows how long...2003 as far as I know. Well, Live 8 had one and Tokyo Zepp 06, so I guess it happens every now and then. But anyway, that'd be fucking unexpected and badass if they added APFMH. I highly doubt it but it'd be cool.
  13. Box office before and after the show. No excuse not to find it, it was RIGHT in front of the gate to enter and exit. Right directly in front of it close to the entrance, lol.
  14. We have said the LP setlist is the same for the entire tour at least 15 times now. And still, every single show post people come up with reasons why they think LP will change the setlist for that show. Damn.
  15. LOL 9.10 to me is September 10th. I forgot the Europeans do it backwards. WOW. Ever since I got the sticker in Graz I thought it was Sept 10th. Holy shit I am dumb. lmao wow.
  16. Well that's just the opinion of some. I mean even though I wasn't feeling DBS, I can't judge them until I personally hear the CD. The crowd wasn't feeling it much - some were don't worry - but DBS played a heavy set. Ryan and Chester were rocking out...Elias too. Amir, Brandon and Fu weren't really moving but man Ryan and Chester were everywhere. A lot of screaming and stuff. New Divide is in a perfect spot. The UK crowd will love it, maybe not the non-LP fans but the LP fans will explode. The place just went fucking apeshit insane when Mike came out for the ND intro on the Virus. Everyone was so ready for LP to come back on stage and man they lost it on ND. Then Faint and OSC, holy shit the place about melted. If they would have done APFMH I believe the stands would have collapsed from all the people jumping and people would've passed out in the pit, lol. We were ROCKING it like HELL up front. I think Sonisphere UK will be an ok show....lots of haters but lots of lovers too. Remember it is the only LP UK show this year so all the hardcore LP fans will be there going nuts.
  17. Sure but I don't know if we can 100% say for sure he didn't plan to transition it. It's possible he planned to do HV into BP and then just fucked the transition up. But it was great regardless of intentional or not that he did HV into BP into POA for the intro and then bam the full POA song. That was really fucking cool.
  18. If LP does not talk to the crowd AGAIN then there is no way this show is going to be one of their best ever.
  19. I'm not going man. I never said anywhere that I was going, lol. I am only going to Grafen and Pomona. I just went to Graz, Zurich and Stuttgart.
  20. Sure there's a chance, but I dunno how good. How silly there is no DSP.
  21. In an hour a half in Stuttgart they did the full LP set plus DBS. So they have plenty of time. Mike will go into the crowd most likely but I doubt the Given Up scream will happen lol.
  22. Welllll after an eventful show in Stuttgart that featured a lot of new things in the setlist, the band will next play in Knebworth, England at Knebworth Park as a part of Metallica's Sonisphere Festivals. This one will last over two days, so LP headlines their own day instead of directly opening for Metallica like they did in Pori, Finland a few shows ago. Stuttgart sure saw some badass stuff. The Dead By Sunrise portion was cool, right? And a huge shoutout to Anne right here who hung out with us in Zurich and Stuttgart after the shows. She is the one that asked Mike for us to do 'Reading My Eyes' over 'Bleed It Out'. Mike thought the idea was great, and instead did a totally different 'Points Of Authority' than he has ever done before. The intro featured 'High Voltage', 'Bloc Party', and lines from 'Points', while Mike gave his first LPU shoutout in years on the outro and rapped 'Reading My Eyes' over it for the first time ever. Incredible! So please thank her for prompting Mike to keep changing the set. What will Knebworth bring? Is Mike going to keep changing stuff? Who all from LPLive is going to the show? *HERE* for those interested are the band set-times for both evenings. Linkin Park will be set to go on at 9:00 P.M UK Time.
  23. I wasn't feeling the DBS. The crowd wasn't really feeling it either. Everyone around me went crazy on BIO and then DBS came out and everyone was like ....wtf is LP done? Not a very good reaction from people around me. Then ole Shinoda came out for New Divide and it was like their savior had come back and holy shit the place blew up. If they would have done ND, Faint, APFMH, OSC, the place would have fucking melted.
  24. Because noone updates the damn setlist page when we are at the shows. It was the first one I made before a show and people are like...upset about it, lol. It's not a big deal, it wasn't linked to the homepage or 09 page.
