  1. Ryan Shuck of Julien-K, Orgy, and now Dead By Sunrise posted a message on MySpace about their shows in Europe so far. The message was posted on August 3rd (woops, I just saw it now - better late than never!) so I apologize for being late. "Linkin Park has been nothing but COOL to us. These guys are in such a huge band – they don’t really need to give a shit about anyone – but are instead they are some of the best friends you could ever have. They’ve really been going out of their way to make us feel like they want us out here with them, and that they think what we are doing is amazing." You can check out the full message here.
  2. Time zone FAIL. It's 11am in the USA where I'm at and the show is already over? That's hilarious, lol. I looked at the LP Japan fansite and they don't have the setlist up yet but I guess they'll post it sometime soon Usually they are really fast.
  3. lol. I liked in Stuttgart during the Numb outro/BTH intro the crowd was all like MIIIIKE SHINODAAAA clapclapclapclapclap, haha. Hilarious.
  4. 1. I never said anything about DBS being advertised or anything Wil, lol. Check Astat's post, you meant to direct that at him - I never mentioned anything dealing with that lmao. 2. I'm just going by the audience recording. Yeah the crowd may have been great, which I am sure it was, but you can't really tell by the recording here. It sounds like the crowd isn't really into it. That's just my 3rd party opinion, but I'm not hearing the fans go nuts in this. 3. POA ending is not the APFMH outro (which is badass). I was referring to Rob continue past Brad on the song ending and then they like...did the ending again, it was weird. I like it though, pretty unique and something they have never done before. Sounds like the crowd up front was killing it but the people in the back weren't feeling it. Or wherever this taper was, it sounds like noone around him was into the show. I was all the way back in Zurich and the crowd was rockin' so that's where my opinion comes from on this.
  5. POA ending was a fuckup for sure. Crowd sounds pitiful.
  6. Crowd sounds just TERRIBLE. Can't hear them at all between songs, BTH outro sounds like a full failure on the crowd. No noise after POA between the end and the outro. Wow. Sounds like the worst crowd of the tour. I think the taper was up close so wow, I hear maybe like 10 people clapping and they sound far away. DBS just totally flopped with the crowd. I think only the first 2 rows were even into the show lol.
  7. Yeah I saw that at Stuttgart, that's really funny lol
  8. Thanks man. Welcome to LPLive...thanks for taping the show, we really appreciate it. Can't wait to hear it
  9. It also takes hours to even get the show in the first place, lol.
  10. Check out DIME right here for a newly posted audience recording of the Knebworth show on August 1st. Thanks to "inabsentia" for the show! The quality sounds great, so be sure to check it out. Newly added - 4shared direct download - LINK

  12. 4.0 is actually coming believe it or not. No bullshit this time either, lol.
  13. Word. Ignore the ignorant people. I criticize people like a motherfucker but I know when someone is doing a good job. The LPU has improven SO MUCH since like 2006...it's incredible. My earlier post looked like I was criticizing the FMM. Well, I was kinda saying they didn't need a DBS fanclub but I don't or didn't ever hate the FMM. Them releasing the demos to the fans...one a month was probably the fucking coolest thing I've ever seen any fansite do. If only someone could convince LP to do that for us - WOW, haha. The LPU is rocking it. M&G system is still a bit buggy in my opinion, but the exclusive videos, audio and chats are GREAT. The support system actually exists now, the staff is doing a great job. Not to mention free giveaways!?!? Huh!? Those rock too. LPU is good, yo.
  14. I am posting this as a congratulations not only to our staff and our contributors but to the community as well for your support of the site. I am very proud to say that LPLive has now reached two thousand members on the forums. We are always gaining more members as something big comes up in the LP world and we thank you for it. I am glad to see more people gaining interest in the site. We've had almost 400 members on at once...usually this happens for big events like the first show of a new tour, the release of an LPU CD, the debut of a new single, etc. Two thousand members is pretty big in my opinion, at least for a fansite like this. I planned LPLive in the beginning to be just a very simple site for people to reference to if they needed something - I never expected to have a lot of supporters and members. It's even more astonishing to me that we get more guests than visitors at any given moment. So thanks LPLive for two thousand members, for over ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND downloads of She Couldn't on our site alone and all of the support you've provided over the years. I can happily say we will keep bringing you the exclusives (no, I haven't forgotten about the last one in the 'series' yet!) throughout the years as well as the live show information!
  15. How the FUCK is that stupid? What are they going to do, make a DBS fanclub to steal more money from fans and post a video every now and then when they can just as well do it for the LPU? I hope they learned their lesson with the FMM...it only lasted what, two years? Id rather be in the LPU and have it last as long as possible.
  16. The LPUnderground has posted a new Dead By Sunrise trailer - you can view it on the LPU homepage. Their little info piece about the video reads: Dead By Sunrise will be releasing a new trailer tomorrow on their MySpace page, but we wanted to give it to LPU members FIRST! In it, Chester talks about how the band came to be. We'll be posting some more LPU-exclusive videos shortly, so stay tuned! Awesome! Good to see the LPU getting a lot of exclusive videos. Hopefully they are working on a DVD to release with Out Of Ashes. Also, the video confirms the album release date in the USA. It will be on OCTOBER 13th, 2009.
  17. Yep. He said the new album is progressing quite well, they have a lot done on it. Mark said he is the guy doing the DBS stuff - he did the trailers, etc and filmed all their stuff, so I ASSUME there will be a DVD since he said he had a ton of stuff recorded for it. He told me they lit up the machines for the LP show, which I saw later that night...it was awesome. He just talked to me about my travel plans and asked me when was going home to Atlanta, etc (cool he remembered from the M&G).
  18. No hurry. It takes me months to do mine, lol. I write like an essay for every show. Or maybe a book. Hah.
  19. I don't think the album drops until October.
  20. James has reported that Dead By Sunrise will play in the UK in September. ''We're back in the UK in September. Pity there’s not another Sonisphere then.'' Elias Andra, Dead By Sunrise Source is here. Hopefully they will play a full tour that hits the US, Europe, and more.
  21. Graz - After the show we met Marth, he was really cool and showed us his front row pictures of the show. He discussed how the show was compared to the 2008 one and more. Picture here that was taken by a nice drunk guy from Austria. On an off day between the shows, we decided to go to Frankfurt so I could purchase a European Rail Pass. While were in the city, we met 'sckofelng' (aka Garo) and spent some time with him, including lunch and a short tour of the malls in the city. Picture here. Zurich - At the LPL M&G post-show we ran into some great people. My awesome Serbia friend, Anne and SpikeMinoda joiend us for Stuttgart too, so we spent quite a bit of time with them. Picture here. Later we had to take another one since more LPL members shows up! I met an awesome guy from France that I spent an hour talking to at McDonalds (go Braves!). Picture of that here. Never mind that SpikeMinoda and I look drunk, haha. The next show was Stuttgart and was a HUGE show. 35,000 people! Here is our first M&G picture. Left to right - SpikeMinoda, AndOne, graveguard, me, Anne, and our epic Serbian traveler, haha! Well, after that meeting, we decided to steal a HUGE Dead By Sunrise poster...we had to burn the plastic ties off of it that held it to a tree so we could take it. Here is a picture I took of all participating LPL members, now including Yugialex on the right. Another shot here by Spike. Here is me carrying the poster from the venue to the train station. Lastly, here is the police in Stuttgart telling us we have to leave it there and can't take it with us. Bummer!! The last show for us was Grafenhainichen at the Ferropolis. On the way to the show, AndOne and I met an awesome LPU'er named Stefano on the train. Here is Stefano and I getting ready to rock out in the pit! Later on, we finally got some Dead By Sunrise posters and then went to have our post show LPL meeting. Michalangelo and his Polish Chaos Crew (hahaha) showed up as well as Ana! Picture here. We had a barbeque after the show which was great, but then we had to walk like 10km back in the rain to the train station! Crazy! Oh yeah, I also met Mark Fiore at this show! Picture of that here. Thanks Stefano for taking the picture!
  22. Hey guys - just thought I'd put up a post with some pictures from our trip. The LPL crew went to four shows...Graz, Zurich, Stuttgart, and Grafen and had a great time. After the shows we met up with some awesome LPL members and just enjoyed the evening until we all had to leave. The pictures can be found HERE. We all had a really good time at the shows and I am glad we were able to meet so many of you. A full review of each show with TONS of pictures will be posted in the Reviews section on the forums sometime soon. Hopefully we can do it again next year! A final thanks to everyone for hanging out with us during and after the shows, and a final shoutout to Anne for getting Mike to rap Reading My Eyes in Stuttgart!
  23. Best review ever. Bam, bam bam....smashing the beer on the top of the car...OPEN! and then a Hahninator beer shower. Hilarious!! The post show hangout was the best one yet. The Polish Chaos Crew, LOL. That bbq was really tasty and a lot of fun, we have to do it again
  24. I dont have a phone in Europe that works, lol.
  25. Awww you should have said hey! Yeah I was talking to Pooch for a minute after the show, damn....didn't know you were there haha. FUCK THAT WAS AN AWESOME SHOW. Talked to Mark Fiore before the show and he told me they lit the machines up for the show, and wow dude during the WID intro, FUCK. The fucking machines lit up like hell and were in sync to the LP lights and everything. DBS ROCKED IT. New Divide tore the place apart AGAIN, I fucking love the track. LPL meet and greet owned. Ana is awesome, I love her. Met a lot of cool people. Stole a DBS poster FINALLY. Was close as hell and got some amazing pictures. So jealous of the LPU meet and greet. Right on the beach on the water with Mike and Phi. Niiiiiiiiice. Lots of interesting show notes for this show. Man that place is in the middle of fucking NOWHERE, had to walk like 10km back in the rain to the train station, what a mess. Great great great show, I am still in shock at how dope the venue was.
