  1. What did he say about that incident? Also, I hope there IS a DSP. Athens was almost lost due to a power outage. Let's hope they got Epicenter. They have the main computer, a backup, and a backup to the backup. In Athens both the main and the backup failed, but they got the backup to the backup. Damn. Wonder what they got for last night. I guess they'd put part of BTH in front another show or something.
  2. http://downloads.linkinpark.com/ All DSP's will be posted here.
  3. Has this happened before? A power outage right in the middle of a song? I know at Edgefest in Toronto last year the lights went out on 'A Place For My Head' but it sounds like everything went out here. Check it out . Nice job by the crowd. I guess that's what Brad and Chester were talking about that we saw on the webcast!
  4. That's the reason I liked DBS the most besides seeing Ryan Shuck rock the fuck out harder than all of LP combined, lol. The crowd goes nuts for LP, then sit there and are like...HUH for DBS. New Divide comes and literally tears the place down. Everyone thinks LP is done but then they hear the New Divide intro and it really gets them going. In Stuttgart and Grafen when New Divide came on it was 10x more epic than just a regular LP encore. So for that reason, I like DBS in the set.
  5. Yeah I guess if it's at a festival like that, the crowd is going to be like WTF. Very similar to the Knebworth show. It gets fans pretty pissed I guess.
  6. I really don't give a flying fuck. I voice my opinion on the setlist and say it's crap, I have people tell me to STFU. I voice my opinion on the setlist and say it's awesome, I have people tell me to STFU. I fucking don't care to tell you the truth
  7. The amount of bitching in this thread about the setlist is just utterly ridiculous. They played one North American show in 2009, this was it, and they played some cool stuff in it that they haven't done in North America before and yet people still bitch like hell about it. That's just sad. You can not like the set but some of you take it too far. I feel embarrassed that so many people on my site get so upset over what they play. If you were at the show I'm sure you'd love it. And about DBS, yeah it sounded really weird at first but after you saw it it was awesome. Who the fuck cares if you paid money for LP, it's an extra bonus. LP could just do 19 songs like they did at over half the shows on the tour and go home, but they let DBS do 3 songs at some shows to extend it 20 mins BUT you still complain about it. DAMN. This is not some rotating setlist tour, it's an escape from the studio tour where LP plays what they're comfortable playing and goes out and has a good time with everyone. If it was a normal tour with 30 dates and rotating setlists OF COURSE I would say that changing a verse over POA isn't changing the setlist but DAMN they could have just done 19 songs the entire tour with Petrified/There They Go over Points like the first show had and gone home back to the studio. Mike went out of his way to spice up the shows just for the hardcore fans so they'd have some cool stuff to enjoy if they had seen LP a lot before or if they were traveling from far away, etc. He added APFMH over POA in Athens for the LPU, he added RME over POA in Stuttgart for LPL, he did Bloc Party/High Voltage combo mashup over it at that show too. Then he posted on his blog to ask YOU FANS what YOU wanted over POA. You submitted requests and he did something he's never done before: Dedicated, and also brought back Step Up, which was only done twice before (one on PR07 and one at a club show we don't have a recording of). You requested it but you still bitch after the tour is over that the setlist isn't good enough. You weren't even there! Mike spiced the everliving hell out of the set with more additions during 1 tour than I have ever seen them do before. He did quite a few verses over POA's intro and outro for just like an 18 show tour, he added some cool Hands Held High verses to the set, etc. It's very surprising to see so many people get so damn upset over a setlist. Believe me, I would be the first one to bitch about it and I did after Istanbul. Then I saw this setlist 4 times and thought it was one of their best ones. Joe and Brad are all over the stage, singing, jumping up and down like they didn't do on the MTM tour. Session is BADASS as HELL, From The Inside fits perfectly in the #2 spot; the WID and NMS long intros are totally great to have in the middle of the set. Even Leave Out All The Rest which I hate, I said after the Graz show that it was the best song of the show. They had so much more energy than PR08, they had a better setlist than PR08, and rocked it harder. You can have your opinions but I think this was one AWESOME tour. I can't wait until next year when they change it up and we get some older tracks.
  8. First show for that was Grafen. He expanded it over time in Asia to make it longer. So yeah every show from Grafenhainichen until now he has done it.
  9. They seemed very well-rested to me when I was in Europe. I got new songs, I got a new setlist and I got a well-rested LP when I saw them four times this year. Saw some shit I thought I'd never see live.
  10. WORD. Amen to that shit. I saw 4 shows on this tour and loved every single one of them. Tons of energy, some BADASS performances, awesome crowd. Mike did Reading My Eyes for me so I am eternally grateful. I wanted to hear it more than anything and he did it Badass tour. Got some amazing stuff this time. Session, Dedicated, RME, both NMS/WID long intros in a set, HHH, ND, everything. Saw DBS twice. Had a great time this year and can't wait to do it again in 2010. LP was excellent. Another good show to wrap up a tour but I dunno why everyone is bitching. Performance looked magnificent to me. I'm sure if you were there you'd love it lol.
  11. Fuck that shit, you are nuts. Mike has changed the setlist so MANY TIMES this year JUST for the fans!!!! A Place For My Head, Reading My Eyes, Step Up, High Voltage/Bloc Party, Hands Held High verse 2, then HHH a cappella->HHH2/KRWLNG, Dedicated. And here you are telling them to change it up.
  12. Yep. BIO was awesome. Good main set. Can't wait for ND, fucccccccck it will be awesome.
  13. All the webcasts get terrible receptions from fans. No idea why, probably the quality. If they were at the show they'd say it was the best LP show ever, lol. ITE had PMA over it quite a bit this year. Band seems really lively. Great show.
  14. Chester sounds great to me. Band is totally opposite of mechanical. Very lively and all over the stage.
  15. You are on some fucking LSD if you think Joe didn't mess up the Crawling intro. HHH is awesome. Glad we got to hear a good version of the ambience they added over it in Asia.
  16. Chester isn't leaving LP, LOL. If you think that'll happen you are crazy. Mike just gave one of his best interviews in a while. He is fucking awesome. He basically said they were gonna release music more often. I like it how he said he didn't rule out the album after the new one could sound like ANYTHING - HT, Meteora, Reanimation, MTM, new album, etc. Fucking great last little speech by Mike.
  17. PR07 webcast was at night. Seeing LP in the daytime was badass. Stuttgart was 99% in the day and was really fucking cool. Grafen was half day half night and I thought that was incredible too. Then some are at night that rock it too since the Session lights OWN (see: Graz, etc). Gonna suck if you go to bed and miss something cool. No telling what Mike might do!
  18. Sucks no Chaz guest appearance, damn. I really was expecting that. I say LP does Petrified over POA, APFMH over the outro. Same set as Europe. Nothing special. But if they did NRL then today is THE time to do that shit. LP should've headlined. Hometown show. Only USA show of 09. Tool is doing a USA tour and could play LA (hell maybe they are already lol). Atreyu asked for hands up for LP then Tool, LP had about 3 times as many. The crowd is a majority in terms of fans for LP. Is this the first webcast we get of LP when they take the stage in the daytime since...RAR04? Omg.
  19. Yep! I'm going to keep the 2 I bought and wait until we see how many we get, then use mine if like we can't get the Japanese ones right away or something.
  20. No it's a browser error, LOL. It's making him hear the audio of the LPU 8 trailer. SOTD rewinded starts hence why he thinks it's a remix. BIO is in there, etc. I have the same problem on my home computer. Plays that shit on every official LP site I go to. LPMB, LP.com, MS.com, etc. Not sure why it does it so I guess it's a brower or coding problem. But yeah it's the LPU 8 trailer audio
  21. No idea but we get a DSP so it's all good
  22. Is everyone not capable of simple math and converting from time zone to time zone....?
  23. Watch the Epicenter '09 webcast HERE. The Epicenter 2009 show in Pomona, CA has just finished and it marks an end to the 2009 touring cycle for Linkin Park. What did you think of the show? Setlist: 01. Session 02. Given Up 03. From The Inside 04. Somewhere I Belong 05. No More Sorrow 06. Lying From You 07. Points Of Authority (Petrified v2 intro/APFMH outro) 08. What I've Done 09. Leave Out All The Rest 10. Numb 11. Breaking The Habit 12. Shadow of the Day 13. Hands Held High (Verse 1 A Capella) 14. Crawling (Reanimated intro w/Hands Held High verse 2) 15. In The End 16. Bleed It Out (w/drum solo intro) Encore 1: 17. Dead By Sunrise - Crawl Back In 18. Dead By Sunrise - Fire 19. Dead By Sunrise - My Suffering Encore 2: 20. New Divide 21. Faint 22. One Step Closer What did you guys think? No Roads Left wasn't played, will it ever be? Did you like the show? (Keep in mind its probably the LAST show of 2009 for the band.)
  24. That shit has happened the entire tour. You're just now getting upset about it?
  25. I might be going.....
