  1. Song at the end: http://www.wemix.com/clip.aspx?key=85AC427081F6C5B8 (aka the winner of Mike's WeMix contest) About the guy that made that song: http://www.astatedynasty.com/Zii-Interview.php Cool instrumental clips...heard that MTM instrumental from LP.com from 2007...then there's another one in there we've never heard too. Gold Gun Girls clip is cool. Overall video is really fucking cool.
  2. Mark Fiore has edited together a new video for Mike's video section on mikeshinoda.com entitled "Glorious Excess (Dies)". It's a short film (11 minutes, 21 seconds) talking about the artwork and the entire art show....it's a great video, you should definitely watch this one. Awesome background music too...good overall production on this one. You can check it out here. Thanks to Adam for the news! Nice job Fiore!
  3. A London show at the time of the album release is confirmed and the German DBS page just announced that one song performance on 10/10 in Germany, so I'm sure there will be a full show in Germany at some point around 10/10.
  4. What the hell kind of tour schedule is this? LOL East coast -> West coast -> East coast. Pretty funny. Hope we get a Miami, Atlanta or Nashville show somewhere in there! I also hope they have a song in the set Mike can collab on in Los Angeles, or even Chris Cornell or something.
  5. Sweet. Hopefully more USA show dates ASAP. Weird that LP.com/LPU hasn't posted anything about this and tickets go on sale tomorrow.
  6. Is this going to be a performance or just an appearance as promo?
  7. Session Given Up Lying From You (w/ Summer 08 intro) With You No More Sorrow (w/ long intro) Papercut Points Of Authority (w/ 09 intro & outro) Reading My Eyes Figure.09 (w/ PR04 transition) From The Inside What I've Done (w/ AMBO intro) Valentine's Day Numb Breaking The Habit (w/ 09 intro & outro) Crawling (w/ Hands Held High a capella verse 1 / verse 2 over KRWLNG intro) P5hng Me A*wy Shadow Of The Day The Little Things Give You Away - New Divide Faint - A Place For My Head (all extenders) One Step Closer (Reanimated intro & bridge)
  8. A live demo. It's still a demo, whether it was performed live or not.
  9. I'm just going by previous statements that said "DBS will be at X on Y day" and it turns out it's only half the band or less than half. Usually just Chester, Ryan and Amir.
  10. Word. And one was a mixtape! lol
  11. 99% sure DBS will NOT be doing DSP's on their tour. Don't think it will happen. The touring crew is entirely different from DBS vs LP, meaning the entire live DSP crew isn't with them, etc, etc. Epicenter seems like the worst show, yeah. I hope they do KROQ AAC 09, man.
  12. Because you can compare Mike's solo project to Chester's solo project. I see no reason why you couldn't do that.
  13. I wonder who they mean by DBS. Probably Ryan and Chester.
  14. And then we're gonna travel through Europe to see them play the new LP stuff live in 2010!
  15. Point: Don't listen to it if you don't like it. The end. Simple solution, lol.
  16. Ah no, no sarcasm. Tried to be enthusiastic but I guess it came off as sarcastic LOL. I hope the album is a "darker" sound, kind of similar to Move On by Fort Minor. Something like that would be cool. I'd like a nice mix of rap-based songs and rock-based songs - something we haven't had before. HT and Meteora were the rock songs mixed with the rap/rock nu-metal sound, but I think if Mike did a song for an LP CD that sounded like it was entirely for FM, it'd be badass.
  17. Thanks for the information and thanks for registering. I appreciate getting the correct info right from the source! - What other bands are on Level 7? - Do you work directly with Chester / Dead By Sunrise (or LP mangement) since the guys in Julien-K are in Level 7? Like perhaps collaborating on press releases / tour plans or something like that?
  18. Mike just did a new video interview with Billboard.com, which you can find here. It looks like it was filmed at his recent Glorious Excess art show. "I don't think it's indicative of where the next record is going," Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda says of "New Divide". "We mentally want to get back to [2000's "Hybrid Theory"] not because we want to sound like [that], because I don't think we do," Shinoda says of the forthcoming Linkin Park album, which they aim to release in the first half of 2010. "But we want to make this record a record with identity, hopefully not one you've heard before. One you can listen to and say, 'That's brand new... It's definitely Linkin Park, but it's definitely different.'" A "different" sounding album. Sounds exciting!
  19. Fake.
  20. Yeah no doubt that FM will destroy DBS. I was biased coming in that there was no way DBS could outdo FM in terms of creativity since Mike went above and beyond and got so much fucking underground recognition for the project, but I think I was right, lol. Still need to hear the full CD to confirm it but I think if you compared the side projects, a majority of fans would say Mike's is better. No offense to Chester at all and I'm not saying DBS sucks (because I'd be the last one to say that since I love nothing more than seeing Ryan Shuck tear the fucking venue to pieces by slamming his guitar all over the place), but I prefer FM at this point in time.
  21. No complaints except about the length - the track is solid. My favorite so far. Shaping up to be a solid solo album, this song is sick. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH MEEEEEEE \m/ Can't wait to sing along with Chester to this live.
  22. Level 7 is the management company for Julien-K...Chester is involved somehow. The whole thing is "hush hush" really.
  23. *wonders where I can download a copy of it*
  24. Late night EST.
  25. Confirmed to be happening now.
