Since we have 14 or 15 LPLive members (sweet!) attending the Dead By Sunrise show in Hamburg on the 7th, we decided to organize an LPL meetup once again. After successfully organizing four in Europe earlier this year (two in Germany and one each in Austria and Switzerland), LPL thought it'd be cool if we could get everyone together at this show once again. Soooo...here's your info: WHAT: LPLive Pre & Post Show Meeting WHEN: October 7, 2009 WHERE: Grünspan, Hamburg, DE - Delta Radio Secret Show Meet directly in front of the venue before and after the show. You should see some sort of little sign that says "LPLive.net Meeting Spot" somewhere around the front like we had in the summer. Don't be shy, say hey if you think you're near the right people. We had some cases in Germany in August where people didn't know it was us and missed the opportunity to say hey. I won't be in attendance at this show but I'll be back in Europe next year. Fabio, Jonas, Mike, Pati, Max, Alex, Stefano, Anne, Lisa, Ben, Ana and a few more should all be there, so meet up with them and have some fun. They'll be taking a big group photo after the show. Have fun!

Surprised there's no Into You or In The Darkness. I didn't think he'd do Give Me Your Name but I thought the others would be done. Interesting since ITD was played live before acoustically. Oh well, lol. Hope the show is a lot of fun...I'd like to see this set at some point.

Dead By Sunrise will be performing their first full show of their career today in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Wasted Space @ Hard Rock Hotel. After a 3 song performance at Club Tattoo in 2008, a 5 song acoustic performance in Las Vegas earlier this year and 3 song performances in Linkin Park's first encoree this summer, they are finally ready for their first full show! After this show, they will head to Germany to play a secret club show in Hamburg, Germany and then continue across Germany and the US until the end of October. The full schedule can be found here, although I personally think between the 1st and 10th they'll announce a last minute show in London or perhaps another location due to statements by Warner Bros representatives in England. What can we expect from this tour? Dead By Sunrise said they will be performing their "full album" live, which means the 12 tracks on the CD and hopefully "The Morning After" as well. They also will play a cover of The Misfits' "20 Eyes", which Chester and Ryan covered under Chester's band "Bucket Of Weenies" in 2005 and 2006. I guess we'll get 14 songs? What do you think? Totally agree. I also have a big big problem with the bridge. Play the acoustic version really quickly. Notice on the bridge...Amir and Ryan just go fucking AT IT with the guitar. Sick as hell, they trade off as the guitars sound the same and it combines for one epic solo. As they keep going, Chester goes with the OOOHHHHHHH all over it.....EPIC. Bridge on the live version is just fucking sick. The studio bridge's guitar solo is so fucked up man...total garbage. Not a fan of it at all. Then Chester comes back with the same generic chorus...on the acoustic version he sang the last chorus in a higher pitch and made the ending just awesome. Studio version has the ending repeated for fucking ever and is so repetitive. Not a fan of that either. Intro and the rest of the song has so much electronic stuff...it's not attractive to me. The studio version gets a terrible review from me, I don't like the fake drums, I don't like what they did to it at all. Biggest failure on the CD other than The Morning After. I love certain songs but they massacred Let Down. I prefer the acoustic version MUCH more. Studio one isn't emotional at all...I feel like they just killed the song and ruined it. I bet a demo sounds better for it....

I think it's interesting. Not the best track I've heard of course but the lyrics remind me of a Chester-version of Hands Held High in a way. Pretty interesting track, glad it was included on the CD.

It was Into You until I got fucking addicted to In The Darkness....damn that is one epic track right there man. I fucking love some of these songs. Seconded man. QFT...the song is incredible.
