  1. That video was posted on LP's YouTube account - I think it might be forever gone now....

  3. I'm gonna start referring to that 6th strings song as: 6SS. I hope 6SS gets released, and LP plays it live. lmao.
  4. Fun coincidental fact: Demo name from Brad's computer on Making of MTM: "get what i deserve - mike" New Divide lyrics: "That I get what I deserve...."
  5. Dead By Sunrise will be playing their next show tonight @ The Roxy in West Hollywood, California. This is their first LA-area show! Is anyone from LPLive going? Mike will be there....see if you can say hey, haha. The setlist should be the same for them, but you never know. Hope the show is fun! Edit by Nameless: -The setlist was the same as the previous DBS shows. Some early photos by LPU: -The line outside The Roxy -Meet and greet -The stage Thanks to MrInfluXion and Adam for the live updates
  6. Wonder if they'll play it in 2010. Chester said he hates the song, lol.
  7. Messaged Celph on MySpace to see what he has to say about it.
  8. When you say GA center ticket, you mean pit don't you?
  9. So we know LP played 'Runaway' at least in 2007 - at the Bamboozle Festival. After that show, their first US performance for the new album, the band played two more "full" headlining shows before embarking on their European Tour. One of those shows was Webster Hall in New York City - the show that was shown nationwide in theatres for Minutes To Midnight. They debuted 'Bleed It Out' at this show, too. The other show was the KROQ Weenie Roast y Fiesta in Irvine, CA. However, between the last two shows I mentioned, LP played a show at Jimmy Kimmel @ the House Of Blues in LA on Sunset Strip. Now, here's where things get iffy. 'What I've Done' and 'Bleed It Out' were played first, but the rest of the set remains a mystery. It's the only show since 2004 that we aren't 100% sure of the setlist for, actually. Noone ever came forth with details on what else the band played. We were able to piece together a setlist from songs people said they "enjoyed" from the LPU Message Boards...songs like 'One Step Closer', 'Papercut' and 'Faint'. We know from YouTube they played 'Breaking The Habit' and 'Numb', but we aren't sure of anything else. Is it possible LP played 'Runaway' one other time in 2007? Did anyone from LPL go to this show? Can anyone confirm/revise the setlist? It's certainly possible they played the song once and then dropped it, replacing it with 'Bleed It Out', but we can't be 100% sure. It's very likely that this one might still remain a mystery....
  10. Never heard before.

  12. Kinda bummed it's not a new song, but we'll see what we get. I wonder what the choices are from the MTM sessions. They have 4 tracks - one is the 6th strings song. I wonder if any of the other 3 are heavy.
  13. I think I'll just go to every LP show in the USA in 2010, lol.
  14. *facepalm* We saw the picture of Amir playing "live" in the studio...I'm sure BBC is a live performance show. LP was live when they did it in 2007.

  16. 17 songs for MTM. 12 on the CD, 13th is NRL. 4 bsides. 1 of them is the 6th string song and there are 3 more. It won't be Grecian or Japan, those were never finished. My bet is that it's the 6th string song. I fucking hope it is, omg.
  17. Yes and $25
  18. *calls in Astat*
  19. Best intro - Macao Best vocal performance - Grafenhainichen. He messed one line up but he nailed the rest of the song, it's awesome. He even let the crowd sing a line. Whole band was really into that one. Graz was badass as fuck but that was because it was the first time I saw ND live.
  20. Email the address in the video. I'm buying a copy too. It'll be an A+ product since his Wantagh 07, Wantagh 08 and NYC 08 DVDs are excellent.
  21. Due to my Facebook account being messed up for several days, I didn't realize until now that 10/15 was Pooch's birthday! I'd like to say sorry for missing it (damn FB, haha)...but I want to say Happy Birthday to Pooch - nice work again this year and we hope to see you again w/ LP in the future! He is currently tearing it up on the DBS "across the world in a month" tour. For those of you who don't know, Pooch is the fan-friendly live engineer for Linkin Park / Dead By Sunrise. He mixes the sound each night so LP sounds crystal clear (literally...LP is one of the best sounding live bands I've ever heard and I've seen 40+ bands just this year), and also mixes the live audio releases LP does via http://downloads.linkinpark.com with another guy named Dylan. Pooch is the reason we can enjoy the shows over and over again on our iPods, in our cars and on our computers. He's helped out LPLive quite a bit over the years, just remember we wouldn't be where we are today if it wasn't for him. Thanks bro & Happy Birthday!

  23. Working on another interview...I'm always trying to get something cool (or new/fresh) in terms of exclusives & interviews for LPL. This time, I found an interesting person that is willing to share his story of working with Dead By Sunrise - a guy named Thomas Brodahl, who worked with the band on the design & concept for the artwork and was also a director for the whole art situation with the album. If any of you have any questions about the DBS art in any shape or form, then post a comment and I'll include it in the interview I'm doing with him. Perhaps he came up with the design of the physical CD...perhaps he got the idea for the photoshoot...etc. Let's see what you guys have to say and I'll get a list of questions to send off if I get a few good replies. Thanks!

    Mike + GBC

Check out Mike's latest post on his blog here. Get Busy Committee is getting ready to drop their latest album, and you can email their manager for several tracks. What's also cool is that Mike mentioned LPLive & our interview with Ryu in the post...sweet! "The with an expected October 27th release date, the Get Busy Committee continues to build… Amazing Ryu interview with Buddyhead: http://www.buddyhead.com/11251/ Great Ryu interview with LPLive: http://lplive.net/interview6.php" Badass...thanks for the shoutout Mike. The GBC album is going to be a good one, I'm not going to lie...I am pretty excited for its release.
