  1. Email him and buy it.
  2. Yes he will be.
  3. Total bullshit. Ryan is 100000x more active on stage than any other DBS member by far.
  4. LP, DBS and FM are not sellouts. You are fucking crazy if you think otherwise.
  5. Could possibly be from a movie like the Sanitarium 03 intro. LP uses some crazy samples sometimes (see: She Couldn't, etc)
  6. I thought that we had 3 versions of CBI live: -UKU Sonisphere CBI (supposedly from Sonisphere but heavily edited) -CBI live single version (from Stuttgart) -CBI live iTunes version (?????)
  7. So on the iTunes Out Of Ashes page, I could have sworn I saw a track 14 a week ago that said "Crawl Back In (Live)". I went to buy that song today to compare it to CBI live off the CBI single and I realized it's no longer there. Does anyone have any info on the track? Was it preorder only or did iTunes remove it? If anyone has it, would you care to PM it to me? Thanks! And speaking of Crawl Back In (live), a good quality version of DBS playing the track on David Letterman last night. Chester nailed it! As always, good to see the whole band enjoying themselves.
  8. The newest update from Chester's Twitter..... "To Jody Rosen critic at Rolling Stone and Mr. Douchebag at New York Times. Thank you for your kind words *wink* glad you like the record" NY Times CD review can be found here; Rolling Stone here. Excerpt from the Stones review: "Ashes is slightly redeemed by ballads like "In the Darkness," which bears a resemblance to the winning emo turn Linkin Park took on the Rick Rubin- produced Minutes to Midnight (2007). But the album is oddly inert, lacking both the brute force and big choruses that raised Linkin Park to rap-rock godhead status." I think the term "emo" is being thrown around too much. What do you think?
  9. Got someone texting me the set.
  10. "You know what I mean You could put a label on a life, Put a label on a lifestyle You know Put a label on how you wake up every morning And go to bed at night" What does that come from in High Voltage? I assume it's a sample of another song?
  11. DBS nailed it. Excellent performance.
  12. Sweet, DBS is rocking it. No backing instrumental here....this is pure rock. Ryan looks badass as hell. They extended the CBI main part a bit at the beginning. Great performance and lighting. Elias is up high...this is great.
  13. DBS has posted a video of Chester at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City. He is getting his makeup done, getting ready to perform on the David Letterman Show...you can view the video here. Chaz also said DBS "shipped over a billion record on iTunes"...interesting. The performance info can be found here for the David Letterman show, where they played 'Crawl Back In'. You can watch it . Hope your release day went well! I hope we get more info on the acoustic songs / '20 Eyes' cover soon. The New York Gramercy Theater show is tonight too. Is anyone from LPL going to the show? Be sure and report the setlist!
  14. Holy shit I need to be at this. I wonder if I can possibly find a way to go to this, lol. Ok so, Ozzy Osbourne, Chris fucking Cornell, CHESTER, Andrew from Wolfmother, Billy Idol, Travis Barker from Blink, and Dave from Jane's. WOW. George Lopez? That guy is epic too. My god that's the best lineup I've seen for anything. I wonder if they will do a Camp Freddy type deal and cover a bunch of songs together or what. This is insane, I really like this lineup. Impressive job whoever put this together!
  15. $119.92???? Are they fucking nuts?! What kind of price is that??? After my heart attack at the price, I realize the link I clicked put in 4 quantities, LOL. $30 is great, I'm buying it now
  16. Chester seems to have no fucking idea what is going on with his CD release. "So we started playing ‘20 Eyes,’ we recorded it and we really liked it. There’s nothing we’ll ever be able to do with it, so we thought that this was kind of good way of letting people have it." Where/when/why/how?
  17. Looks like they plan on touring until mid December. God help us when Mike tells us the new CD won't be out until Fall 2010.
  18. Just went and picked up 2 copies. Paid $14.50 for one, kinda pricey. First, the positives. Positives of the CD: - Badass CD design. Just looks sexy as hell - Awesome cover....back is meh (too much Tom Whalley, LOL, na jk...no design on the back but whatever) - CD info...like the CD displays the names of the songs in my car when I play it. No other CD does that for me, that's badass right there. I hope LP has that on their next CD. Negatives of the CD: - Booklet. Like 6 pages of art and no lyrics. WTF. No lyrics in a CD released in 2009? I thought every CD had lyrics, lol. Fail. - No bonus tracks. 12 songs, no "The Morning After", no acoustic stuff, nothing. No special edition. - Jewel case. Took my copy out of the seal, played the CD in the car on the way back, and then put it back in the case and took it to my dorm room. Barely any touching and there's already a scratch, lol. Jewel fail. Jewel case is just a cheap ass product IMO. Overall opinion: I like DBS and the CD design is cool, but that's about it. Jewel casing is a piece of shit these days, the booklet has no lyrics, we still have no info on bonus tracks (I doubt we'll get a DVD)... 6/10 on the release whereas Fort Minor got a 10/10.
  19. I spoke with a guy who got these first two dates from the Breaking Benjamin management.... Dead By Sunrise will be playing two festival shows in Texas in late November and early December (which Breaking Benjamin will also be playing, of course) - Houston & Grand Prarie. Ticket on sale dates haven't been released yet...I'll get more info for you on these two shows soon. 30.11.2009 Houston, TX, Verizon Wireless Theater, KTBZ "Buzz Festivus" 03.12.2009 Grand Prairie, TX, Nokia Theater, KDGE "How The Edge Stole Xmas" Show Next, they will be playing Vegas yet AGAIN (what's new?) at The Joint @ Hard Rock Hotel as a part of "Holiday Havoc '09"...they will be opening for Alice In Chains. Tickets for this show go on sale SATURDAY, and apparently some sort of internet presale starts THURSDAY. Info here. Will we finally get another "Man In The Box" collaboration at this show? This will be their first Vegas show this year...they will have played Vegas more than any other city by the end of the year. 11.12.2009 Las Vegas, NV, The Joint @ Hard Rock Hotel, Holiday Havoc '09 I added these three shows to the DBS page. Hopefully we'll get a few more shows announced around the USA shortly. Thanks to Garrett (LPPanther) for the heads up! Don't forget DBS plays a song or two on David Letterman tonight in NYC, and tomorrow is the big Gramercy Theatre show for them!
  20. Once again, news goes in this section: http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showforum=4
  21. Today is the big day - Out Of Ashes is released in the USA! Does anyone have any special plans for the CD release? BTW If you have a twitter, let's get #deadbysunrise a trending topic!
