  1. Didn't the Summer Sonic 2006 broadcast on TV come quite a while after the shows? In the BTH video of Chiba City that's on YouTube you can see the huge sweeping camera go over the crowd, so it apparently was recorded. I guess wait a while and when they announce a TV airing, we should get it recorded. We also need QWERTY live recorded!
  2. Apathy has posted a new message on his MySpace page here, stating that Mike is producing a new track of his called "Shoot First" that has both Cypress Hill and Celph Titled on it. "My new album "Wanna Snuggle?" is done. Guest appearances include : all of The Demigodz (of course), Cypress Hill, Phonte (of Little Brother), Chip-Fu, J-Live, Blue Raspberry, Holly Brook and more. Production done mostly by myself... but Mike Shinoda produces "Shoot First" featuring Cypress Hill and Celph Titled." Apathy's first album was pretty cool and I enjoyed his work with Fort Minor, so this album should be good. Plus, a track produced by Mike - who could go wrong? Anyone know of any other work Mike is doing with other artists? Isn't he supposed to be on a new Cypress Hill track too?
  3. They are touring just as a break to get out of the studio. I'm one of the biggest critics of the LP setlists ever and I still thought these shows in Europe were badass as hell. Great setlist, crowds rocked. Only thing I didn't like was how LP didn't talk to the crowds during the shows BUT when they talked in 2008 you couldn't hear them very well at the shows I was at. In Atlanta in 2008 I had no idea what they were saying before LOATR so it's not a big problem with me. Show is kinda short yeah but they will be back next year with longer sets that I'm sure they will talk during. Session -> Given Up, NMS/WID intros, POA outro, HHH/KRWLNG, New Divide/Faint/OSC all were badass. New Divide fucking blew the place apart EVERY SINGLE SHOW I saw it at. Damn that is such a good song to start the encore with. I hope they keep ND there next year to start an encore, but also play about 22 songs every show and talk a little more. Hopefully they drop 2-3 songs but if not it's ok I guess since the shows are great anyway. I'll be in Europe and the USA next year.... EDIT: One thing you said was they had no energy...that was the complete opposite of what I saw.... PR08 last year in the USA the band seemed really tired to me, so this was a complete change of that in my opinion. Joe Hahn is fucking BACK - he was going crazy the entire show. No longer is he turning around and being bored on NMS, he's jumping up and down and all that. Tons of energy from the whole band...Brad singing BTH, everything. It was really really good in terms of energy. Only thing I saw fans complain about was lack of talking to the crowd and a shortened show. This is an escape from the studio tour so I guess the talking and length will come next year.
  4. I can confirm I saw this setlist in Grafen. Security guards had copies of the setlist (WTF), so I saw one and tried to take a pic but the guy folded it up when he saw me. Scandinavian outro means the POA outro I'm sure, lol....nothing special. M&G was like 25-30 mins before the LP setlist so no way they could retype it all up that fast.
  5. LP's fifth-to-last show of the year will be at the Mihama Athletic Field in Okinawa, Japan on the 11th. It will be the band's 19th show in Japan ever, and the band's first headlining show (at a non-festival) since 2007 in the country. The setlist should be the same as usual - no Dead By Sunrise at this show. Hopefully we get some updates after the show since Mike said he wanted to do something "different" over 'Points Of Authority' at the last few shows. Speaking of 'Points', can anyone confirm the setlist for Osaka and let us know what Mike did over 'Points' at both Chiba City and Osaka? It seems the Japanese are very slow at updating us with setlists this time....hopefully we get some info on those shows soon and don't have to wait for the DSP's. Lastly, Ana has found a legit copy of an actual setlist from the Stuttgart show, which you can view here.
  6. Well first time in 2009, before in 2007 when they did Australia/Asia it was bad too. The 08 Winter Tour that hit the Western USA was bad too, lol. Mic is fucked up at the beginning of Given Up. Interesting. I bet that'll definitely get fixed on the DSP....
  7. I don't think Epicenter will have anything that special to be honest.... Is Chris Cornell playing any shows that day? Might bring him out on Crawling.
  8. When LP is on the West Coast of the USA, in Asia or Australia, it's impossible to get fast, accurate setlist info. I love how the East Coast USA fans and European fans get that shit in immediately. Pretty cool. It was awesome being at the shows in Europe and then talking to an LPL member after the show. "Yo Mark hi, I Twittered the setlist" or "Hey Mark I sent sckofelng the setlist by text message". Hell yeah, that is awesome.
  9. Thanks. Do you know what Mike rapped over the beginning and end of Points Of Authority? Petrified / A Place For My Head? Something else?
  10. http://www.linkinpark-japan.com/bbs/read.php/1249040861/3 SUMMER SONIC09 LINKIN PARK 01, Session 02. Given Up 03. From The Inside 04. Somewhere I Belong 05. No More Sorrow 06. Lying From You 07. Points Of Authority 08. What I've Done 09. Leave Out All The Rest 10. Numb 11. Breaking The Habit 12. Shadow Of The Day 13.. Hands Held High 14. Crawling 15. In The End 16. Bleed It Out Encore: 17. Fire (Dead by Sunrise) 18. Crawl Back In (Dead by Sunrise) 19. My Suffering (Dead by Sunrise) Encore 2: 20. New Divide 21. Faint 22. One Step Closer The reply to the post says that the guy thought Fire was first. Still nothing 100% confirmed though. I guess I'll wait for more posts confirming that before I post the set. I doubt we'll know what was over POA until we get the DSPs. Japan is really slow this time for some reason...
  11. Yeah Pooch plays the OSC bluegrass version after all LP 2009 shows. Hilarious.
  12. Learn to read, please. Anyway I hope this big gap in the dates allows Pooch to really give us some quality recordings here. Crank up Mike's backing vox on NMS and New Divide...crank his guitar...everything.
  13. He's done Step Up I believe twice - West Palm 07 and that club show after Australia 07. It's Goin' Down I think once? Not sure. Those would be cool. As long as he doesn't do Petrified 1 or 2, Bloc Party, In Stereo 1 or 2, or anything else he used to do all the time, that'd be great. It was a real treat to get High Voltage combined with Bloc Party and a few POA lines on the Stuttgart one and RME on the outro (fuck. yes.). I like how he did APFMH over the end by request as well. Now is the perfect moment for him to change both the intro and outro nightly. Papercut would be insane, Dedicated, Step Up, High Voltage again, anything. High Road!? I think he is really going to surprise us with the last few shows of 2009. We don't know what he did in Chiba City or Osaka. There are 5 shows left, so there's a chance to do 5 he has never done before.
  14. Holy shit a new song within the next 7 days?? Sweet!
  15. On Mike's blog, he has asked fans for some help, which you can read about here. "At the shows, I've been doing different verses at the top of our slightly remixed "Points Of Authority." I need some inspiration: what verse should I do tonight? Something different would be nice..." 'Second To None' has only been done once...'Respect 4 Grandma' could be done. Some people think 'Dedicated' and 'Papercut' would be cool - I agree! In Stuttgart a few shows back, LPLive got him to do 'Reading My Eyes' over the outro, which was totally badass. He also did a combination of 'High Voltage' and 'Bloc Party' over the intro at that show too. I think now is a great time for him to switch it up even more - we might get some great verses on our DSPs. Meanwhile, a typhoon hit Taiwan yesterday and caused record flooding. Guess where it's heading now? China, of course! LP is heading to both areas, although a different part of Taiwan. And recently there was a 7.1 magnitude earthquake near Tokyo (where LP was playing yesterday for Summer Sonic). Looks like the guys are going to be experiencing the bad side of Mother Nature while in Asia! Wish them a safe trip! Hopefully no shows are affected in China. Japanese setlists I guess will come later? Nothing from Chiba City or Osaka yet....
  16. Still nothing. Probably will have to wait until the DSP comes out.
  17. The next show for LP will be at the Maishima in Osaka, Japan for day two of their Summer Sonic run this month. The setlist should still be the same as Europe, but once again we'll need confirmation on that since Mike likes to change stuff up (especially on this tour). Summer Sonic Day Two! Anyone going? The crowd last night was at 60,000 I believe...that's a pretty big show for LP. If anyone gets the confirmed setlist for Chiba City, let us know and do the same for Osaka. Dead By Sunrise will be playing and we'll get a DSP (sweet, a DSP from a festival show), so we all should be looking forward to it. And Mike Shinoda is looking for inspiration, do you want a different song over POA for this show? go to Mike's blog and request.
  18. Not a thing. 01. Session 02. Given Up 03. From The Inside 04. Somewhere I Belong 05. No More Sorrow 06. Lying From You 07. Points Of Authority 08. What I've Done 09. Leave Out All The Rest 10. Numb 11. Breaking The Habit 12. Shadow Of The Day 13. Hands Held High (Verse 1 A Cappella) 14. Crawling 15. In The End 16. Bleed It Out ------------------------------ 17. Crawl Back In (Dead By Sunrise) 18. Fire (Dead By Sunrise) 19. My Suffering (Dead By Sunrise) ------------------------------ 20. New Divide 21. Faint 22. One Step Closer That's the setlist most likely, but we don't know what was over POA intro/outro and if anything else interesting was done.
  19. Once. Been done one time. PR07 with a ton of other bands. I'd like to see JK get a 10 song opening set for LP. That'd be totally badass...Chaz on TD and all that good stuff. Ryan said DBS will allow JK to continue so I think we will see results that differ greatly from FM/SOB. JK will make at least another album in my opinion and that might allow Chester to make another record with DBS as well. It all depends but I think JK will succeed due to DBS, which is what the band is saying anyway.
  20. Well considering it says the show name, the show date and everything right there before you even get to the setlist, I'd say you are stupid for not noticing, lol. That site doesn't report very much on shows.
  21. That's from St Petersburg and it was copied from LPLive, lol. Chiba City had DBS.
  22. Now that'd be a great place to see a show. Isreal, wow. I'd have to attend that one, lol. Didn't Chris Cornell just play in Israel...?
  23. Noone has reported it yet. Noone here went to the shows I think and the LP Japan fansite hasn't posted anything yet. Once LP goes out of Eastern America or Europe, setlist reporting becomes very scarce and hard to come by, lol. The Western USA has no idea how to report a set and Asia/Australia are pretty bad too
  24. Yep. Please stop posting in the wrong sections. This is NOT NEWS. This is General LP Discussion.
  25. Which is why I didn't tape the German shows but why we needed a taper for Sonisphere. Feels good coming home to hear a recording of the show you went to, right? Hilarious how you say we're screwing over the band by taping when LP supports us sharing the shows and thinks it's cool we record shows that there aren't DSPs for so fans can hear them that both went to the shows and also ones that collect them and compare one show to another. LP doesn't consider that screwing them over and the fans don't, but you do. Interesting. Your other point is invalid too because every LP taper I've met personally and every one I've ASKED online about it has said they bought the DSP for the shows. I buy them for every show I go to, Nick does, every taper I've organized since 2007 has, etc.
