Sweet find, I think people will like this. Moved it to Newswire. Why not? Thanks for the heads up! Keep finding the cool media \m/

Killing Fields is fucking amazing. I wonder why they released such a solid track as a b-side and not on the next album. The next album material must be really good. Putting the bet down, like many others, that the next Julien-K album drops before Linkin.
-
How about 15 songs on the album? That'd be a winner for me.
-
As far as I know, 4.0 is completely done. I am very isolated of the development of the new version. Amanda and Mike have basically handled the entire thing themselves...I'll check on it today. I believe it should be ready?

That has nothing to do with it. Just because I'm tired of hearing about DBS, that doesn't mean I can just all of a sudden say "NO MORE DBS ON LPLIVE". I mean I could but wow, what an asshole-ish move that'd be. You know why we've had DBS, Julien-K and GBC news the past few months? Because there's not a damn thing going on with Linkin. We post every Linkin update we can but if we just did that, we'd literally have like one article every 4-7 days. I see no harm in covering the other bands...it keeps the news flowing and believe it or not, quite a few people come here to get news on those bands. Oh I forgot, Joe's back in LP, lol. Forgot he was in Not Alone. That's awesome, hope to hear him on the new album after an absence of about 3-4 years. LP is conquering all sorts of cool stuff with this new CD - a new "genre-busting" album as well as featuring a pre-MTM member! Wow

This. Totally agree.

I replied to that with my account, also "Hahninator", but it has a picture of me from Stuttgart in the profile so you know it's me lol.
-
Wonder why someone would use the same nickname as me, lol. Wonder if he's an LPL member. Or another site member.

Check out this thread on LP.com. The thread says this: "Reply by Hahninator 8 hours ago I can confirm that he did speak of the new single saying it would be called Awake and be released in June. He also stated that they would hopefully start touring by August." Just letting you know that this is NOT me. I have an alias of "Hahninator" on LP.com but for some reason it is letting other people choose the exact same nickname as me. I think this is quite confusing and can be misleading, but I thought I'd let you know that I did not post that. I don't believe that information is true at all, but who knows. I'm just saying whether it's true or not, I want you to know that's not a statement from me. Apparently this guy goes by Hahninator too. Weird. Double aliases ftw.....or not....ouch. EDIT by Nameless: By the way, this info is not true at all (referring to the "Awake" track and tour info). People in the chat started to talk about this right after the chat w/Mike just to tease those who didn't go (me included). In my honest opinion, i hardly doubt that Mike would say such a things in an unofficial LP.com chat.

Songs that will be erased of the setlist
hahninator replied to JZLP-Benningstrong's topic in Live Talk
I just would like to see some songs I haven't ever seen before. A Place For My Head, Hit The Floor, Figure.09, anything. Anything they rarely played or didn't play at all last cycle. -
No offense to anyone involved or any fans that like it but I wasn't into that episode at all. Kinda tired of all these DBS updates, DBS this, DBS that...I'd like some solid LP updates. That was cool and all but like....it seems LP alienates us every time they go to the studio lol. I'm glad we got some 2010 Phoenix footage though. Does this mean they are releasing an LPTV for the summer tour last year? I saw the Epicenter footage...I'd love to see some footage from the shows I was at It was good to tell us that we'll get more LPTVs soon, but this was more of a DBS Webisode thing. And LP only halfway done *headdesk* Oh well, lol. Just really tired of DBS.

Is there any MTV2 footage of songs from that show?

Possibility Of 2nd Download To Donate Album

DTD......to Chile! -
We get so much misleading info about the DSP's it's incredible. I was told all of Europe 08 was recorded and the reason it wasn't released is because they couldn't mix them on the road due to the touring schedule. They were mixed after the fact. Dunno why they aren't released lol.

Heard about 3/4 through various Ryu webstreams

They changed it? I love Here We Go. Sick beat and hooks...great opening track. Nothing else really epic that I've heard even though I haven't heard all of it. Call My Name is cool, the sample at the beginning is funny lol. Damn is alright, I like Pirate Song and the Holly song is decent. Haven't heard a few near the end except Dunky Fividendz which I like. Solid album..just wish it was released. Need Jay's thoughts on it, lol.

None of LP's studio material is "rare", lol. We have shared everything on LPL. She Couldn't, State Of The Art, etc...we posted all of it.

Mike said shortly after he posted this on his blog that he was going to do an interview video with White Pegacorn, but hell, that never came. No idea what the deal is.
-
The thing that is pissing me off about LP is the lack of updates. Once again they leave their fans in the dark about what the hell is going on. No LPU photo journal, no decent video updates, no solid blog posts. One post every 3 months is basically like...nothing. They isolate their fans so much it's disappointing. I don't really understand why unless it's unintentional. Of course they take a while to make a CD but it comes out GREAT so I don't mind waiting that much, but I sure wish we had some updates or a solid form of communication from the studio to the fans as to exactly what the hell is going on at NRG while they are making this album. They keep telling us time frames like "we hope to have an album out ASAP", then "the end of 2009", then "early 2010" now they are saying "hopefully by the end of the year". Wouldn't surprise me at all if it was summer 2011.

I don't even know if I could reply, I don't think the page would load if I listed everything. I have hundreds of gigabytes of LP and LP-related material.

Papercut bridge Inglewood 04 Chester/Rob get out of sync as soon as they start it lol
-
Great show. First time for WID chorus singalong I think...Chaz nailed the 30 second FTI scream, Papercut was nasty, ITE had the a capella bridge for one of the first times...LOUD CROWD on it, OSC intro was unique, band was just on fire. #1 version of TLTGYA ever played in my opinion...just a lot of stuff went right to make it an epic show lol

Mike recently posted on his blog about the new LP Archives recordings that are now available. He said: "Don't know which to get? Try Atlanta GA, August 2007. Maybe Madison Square Garden, 2/21/2008 (with a guest appearance from Jay-Z). Maybe Osaka, August 2009...So many good ones to choose from." Atlanta! That was my first LP show...that's great that Mike mentioned that one. Osaka is a good one as well...the Japanese crowds are amazing. What are your top few favorite DSP's? He also said, "Fans have been asking for it, so here it is: a full online catalog of our live performance recordings from 2007-2009." Well, not FULL (we're missing everything pre-Projekt Revolution 2007, a few random 2007 shows, the entire European summer tour in 2008 and a few 2009 shows) exactly...haha. Hopefully they continue to use this method to sell shows in the future.

2007: Auburn, Atlanta 2008: New York City, Camden 2009: Stuttgart

Jack shot a DVD of Charlotte 08 so it might be in there. I was at that show and don't remember that but that's not saying it didn't happen. Fav part of that show was Chaz kissing Talinda during the middle of Faint or Phoenix having a M&G with a girl in the front row during the middle of POA. There's audio of the 2nd one due to the DSP's, I remember hearing that. Lots of DSP mistakes. OSC Auckland 1...something happened to Chaz's mic on the bridge.
