First video is the MFR build in the LA area. 1:00 total. 10 seconds of intro and 10 seconds of outro...40 seconds of Phoenix talking. Really? Phoenix even says "I'm gonna come show you guys the site a little bit". But there's no video of that. This is really short and I can't say it's uninformative but it kind of is, lol. Like you are told they're doing a build but there's not really any info on it at all...it'd be cool to see what exactly they're doing and just some more content for a video. Surely they did more that day than just have 40 seconds worth of video from one band member. Next video is from Istanbul and is 1:37. Much better video. General solid Fiore editing of the Istanbul show and a little backstage footage. I was expecting this on an LPTV of the summer tour in 2009 but LPUTV works too. Maybe the next LPTV series will have an episode of this tour. I like this video, pretty cool. Still hoping for an LP tour website done officially with the setlist, show highlights, some pics of the show, 1 or 2 videos from the crowd or side of the stage of some cool moments during the show and maybe 1 backstage video. That'd be fucking sweet.

Adam wanted me to tell you guys that he put up a 1920x1080 banner on the LPU downloads page, which can be found here (well, that's the news story about it, haha). Thanks to LPL members for requesting it...now it's available for you LPU members to download. Enjoy! He also wanted me to let you know that this size will be available for all future LPU's (10 and beyond). Stay tuned within the next few days for a great LPU-related giveaway via LPLive and other fansites!

Since the first full show of 2009 (Istanbul), Pooch (LP's live sound engineer) has been playing this after every Linkin Park show and most Dead By Sunrise shows.
-
No. Blackbirds will not be on it. I see another LP track though. Different other artists hopefully though...would like a John Mayer contribution. DBS should put a track up there...20 Eyes studio version or a Vegas live track. No idea why the Haiti earthquake is getting so much attention versus the one in Chile. Unacceptable media coverage in my opinion. Does South America not matter to the media?

Secret Linkin Park Project w/ Exclusive LPL Track
hahninator replied to hawk's topic in Everything Linkin Park
Exactly. Way way way over exaggerated statement by that person ftw. -
So I can be online only and still get the music? Gonna definitely downgrade back to online only then lol.

05? QWERTY = nu-metal no matter if you like it or not and it's from 2006. Good we got some album news. Sounds like with another update i can move my prediction from june 2011 to April 2011. Wouldn't surprise me if they said they hate this batch of songs, scrapped them all and restarted the entire process.

Because 99% of the time you tell us Linkin Park is playing Brazil and I can remember at LEAST THREE totally different situations where you guys were 100% sure LP was playing Brazil and South America and that everyone needed to post about it ASAP. Guess what? It didn't happen. That's why your site's credibility has gone to shit. I can't ever believe anything from you guys anymore if everything you say is going to happen never happens. So don't say LPxDC is garbage when you told us Warner Bros Brazil told you LP was playing in Brazil last year. Oh wait, they're the source for this article too. D'OH.

Don't think it is rare at all considering CS released it in 2005, but I posted about this about 3/4 of a year ago and noone came forward and said they actually had the rips, so I decided to rerip them.

Yeah I know that LPL 4 is becoming the next Chinese Democracy, buuuuut like the long awaited Guns N Roses album, I promise LPL 4 is coming. It's in the final stretch. All the setlists and show notes, setlist notes, etc are all in place. So what in the world could be left? [AndOne] is adding our final pictures to the pages. At the bottom of each show page (when available) we're going to have a small little gallery of pictures. We'll have the picture of the ticket stubs, show posters, and a picture or two from each show. If there was an LPL M&G, that picture is included too, and if there was something else cool like a backstage pass picture, we've got that on there too. Amanda is still tidying up the final themes as well. As I'm sure you know by now, you'll be able to select different themes for the site, like a DBS theme, a Hybrid Theory theme, etc. There's one or 2 special ones in there too. Lots of hard work by three very significant people have gone into this version of the site - Amanda (SouthernGirlAM), Jonas [AndOne], and Mike (SpikeMinoda). They have worked really hard and are really ready for you to see the final product. Very soon! I have a date on the tip of my tongue, but I want to make sure everything is completely done first, and we'll roll out a date ASAP. I really think it can happen in two weeks.

I just reripped into WAV, converting to FLAC and tagging now. I can send you a few so you can check them out if you want. They sound really good to my ears.

This random idea of yours is the best thing I've heard in months. What a better way to please some album-starved LP fans than give them these rips that the community somehow lost? lol I love it.

So thanks to my good friend Sean (HybridMeteora798) from back in the day, we're working on getting those lost Reanimation 5.1 layers back to everyone. The old LP remixer that went by the name "Agent" or "Bloodfrost" ripped them in like 2005...it seems everyone lost them that had them then. I think that'll be the next LPL release. Not right here on the homepage of course because Warner will eat us for breakfast like a bowl of cereal, but I think we can do it via torrent like it was done 5 years ago. Wow has it been that long, haha? Remember how cool those were? Those really gave some good insight into the album, I really loved those. In fact, I believe I purchased like 2 more copies of Reanimation just because of the stuff I heard in those layers. Starting the work on getting those ripped now... Stay tuned!

Seether is putting a new CD out this year? Sweet. Lots of good stuff. 10 Years coming in September. New AIC soon, new TCV soon. So LPTV in the next 1-2 months actually means LPTV in November and an album in late spring or early summer next year? Sounds about right. New LPLive law says anything to do with album release timing or anything to do with the next LP CD that comes out of Mike's mouth, you have to automatically add 4 to 6 months to it for realism.

This. Hate My Suffering. Terrible song.

I'll talk about Linkin Park any time of day - Hahninator's 19th Birthday Thread
hahninator replied to Jen's topic in Newswire
Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes Lee, that's hilarious haha. My girlfriend got sooooo mad I was texting you at 5am about LP, but oh well LPLive isn't going anywhere. I will try my hardest to get with 4.0 this month. There's no excuse for us to take this long. I accept all blame and I'll try right now to see what I can do to get it out ASAP. I appreciate the thanks but LPLive would not be what it is without YOU. We have a lot of LOYAL fans that love the band (even so much that they, or we, criticize them a lot, but we just want the best from them lol) and support this site. I thank you all. LPLive would be nowhere near where we are today without you. I can't wait for some 2010 album news (or 2011?) and tour dates. I'm sure I'll go back to Europe and see all of you who I saw the first time and then meet more of you. Thanks for being a member of LPLvie through thick and thin -
I'm talking big bands like The Offspring.

Wow. Solid questions, better than what I could've come up with but the answers, woahhhh. Generalized much? He gave no information, just cleverly reworded the question. I like how he answered a "How?" question with "Yes". Jesus. I wish LP would open up. They take ages in the studio, give us hardly any updates when other bands will throw full demos or photologs or webcams from the studio at us or something...they have been recording since November 2008 and we've gotten: Lockjaw (took what, a day?), New Divide (several weeks), and reworked versions of Blackbirds and Not Alone (I'm sure both combined would've been about a week). Unacceptable. Where is the album?

Astat FTW

I just tried to download the new tracks twice, and in both files I downloaded, I don't see any of the 3 new tracks. Can someone upload them and link them here for me please?
-
Astat does more research on a topic before posting than anyone I know, so don't tell him he needs to "try know better about the shows on south american region to after say anything". I remember when this announcement was made in 2008: Due to unforeseen technical issues, Nine Inch Nails' October 15 show at the Poliedro de Caracas in Caracas, Venezuela has been moved up a week to October 8. Tickets for the October 15 show will of course be honored at the new date. The same issues have unfortunately forced the cancellation of the following shows: Tue-Oct-07 Sao Paulo BR Via Funchal Thu-Oct-09 Porto Alegre BR Pepsi on Stage Sun-Oct-12 Bogota COL BIMA Mall The promoters fucked Trent and lied to him about the NIN production. They couldn't accommodate the NIN show when they initially said they could. This also happened to NIN in like Taiwan or something last year, lol. Poor Trent. South American promoters are known for being very sketchy and have been proven to lie to bands to get them to commit to shows when in actuality they can't accommodate them properly. I don't blame bands for not touring down there...it's a very weird situation.

So who all has beaten the game? I just looked and saw that 3 of the top 20 on the game are from our site! BlackChester is in the lead with SpikeMinoda and AndOne not far behind. Very cool! Hope you guys are enjoying the game! I am taking it slow so I don't beat it so fast because I doubt any updates on the missions are coming very soon. I'd like to only do a mission a day or so. But I have seen LPLive mentioned on the boards and stuff around the game, like in Downtown, etc. Has anyone else played the game and noticed some LPL members throughout? Catching a few of you LPL members around the game, cool stuff. If you have any screenshots, feel free to post them here! xefuzioner in Club Tattoo Jacrid in Casino Row Say hey and add me if you're playing it! "hahninator" is the name. While you're at it, if you want to be added by others, post your usernames in this thread so people can find you!

I can't figure out how to play offline.

Ran into you in the game today and took a picture, lol

Mine: 01. Across The Line. Track just does it for me. One of my favorite all-time Linkin tracks. The vocals and lyrics bring it and the song structure is excellent. A Rob Bourdon drum roll, Chester screaming, I love it. No idea why it wasn't on MTM...this is a QUALITY song that I absolutely love. 02. New Divide. Didn't really like it the first few months. It took me seeing this one live before I liked it. The intro in Graz was REALLY loud and the crowd just blew. the. fuck. up. when Joe started the song. Then in Stuttgart, jesus christ the entire crowd just lost it on New Divide when LP came back out since they thought LP was done due to DBS playing 3 songs. New Divide into Faint into OSC was the most epic LP encore I've seen and after witnessing the orgy of New Divide live in the encore, I started liking the song a lot more. Nice Trent Reznor bridge and the intro is classic Linkin. 03. Blackbirds. Hmm, odd intro but once again proves Linkin can bring it in the song structure category. Starting with Easier To Run and then Valentine's Day, I am getting more and more impressed with the way they compose songs. Sweet lyrics in this one but Chester singing over the beat is ehh. I can definitely see why it's not on the CD. It lacks in the length department and is a bit repetitive with no climax. Not my favorite but it's tolerable. Mike's rapping on the bridge is nasty. Brad coming in with the beat is cool though. Did Rob have anything to do with this song? 04. Lockjaw. I know this is entirely a Mike Shinoda production with a little Rob Bourdon, but it's still cool. I like the sample with piano and guitar over it, slowly progressing to the climax. Always had something for Lockjaw ever since I first heard it. Just clicks with me and actually comes close with Blackbirds but due to the length is number 4. Pretty sweet little composition. 05. Not Alone. Charity song, yeah. Not a big fan of this one. Not a big fan of the singing in this one, Chester sounds a bit whiny to me. It's cool for a Haiti song but I would NOT like to see this one live. It sounds like a 100% Mike Shinoda production (lol @ the intro reminding LP fans of Shadow Of The Day) with the beats and all. I'd like less drum machine stuff and more real drums from the Rob department. Best part comes on the ending (yay for more song structure experimentation by LP) where Joe is scratching. Yes, it's small but it's big for me since I was very upset at barely any Joe scratching on MTM. Welcome back, brotha!
