Yes! Go Braves indeed So Bercy will likely always be Bercy?

I had to share this with LPLive - this is too funny. Venues get renamed all the time and usually people are like "Dang, the new name sucks" or something similar, and refer to the venue in the future with the old name. But this name change was too funny to just pass up and ignore. The Ford Amphitheatre in Tampa, Florida (where LP has held Projekt Revolution in 2004, 2007 and 2008, and where 'Wish' off of the LPU 4.0 CD came from) has been renamed to.... Hilarious. Source here. Thanks to Preston for the heads up.

About 6-10. Show pics as well as whole audience, venue and M&G. Definitely want M&G pics.

LP - 10.11.2010 - London, UK, O2 Arena (Night 1)

Gonna try and make it out to this show. -
Don't even think about it, that'll never leak. The ones for MTM were never even heard of they were kept under such secrecy.

Tons of stuff flowing in, this is great.

On the show pages we now have an image gallery at the bottom for show pictures, ticket stubs, show posters and more. You can see what shows have them on the year page by checking the S, P and T on the right hand side of the page. Now since LPLive 4 has launched, I'm asking for all of you to submit whatever you've got! We'll take a few show pictures from shows, we'll take your ticket stubs, your show poster images, everything. Make sure it hasn't already been submitted from your show (lol) and if it hasn't send it on in. We made the form really easy for you to use. Access it via the Site dropdown menu and -> Contact And Submit...or just use this link: http://lplive.net/contactandsubmit.php For those of you who have your 2010 tickets and show posters already, send in pictures! You can also use this form to submit site corrections you see that need to be made. But scroll through the site and especially if you've been to an older show, see if we have your image from it. We are lacking in the 2007 and 2008 areas and that's just unacceptable....like noone here went to the Vegas 08 shows or London, ON 08? A lot of Projekt Revolution is missing too. Try and take good pictures if you can. We want the site to be as complete as possible and here's where you can help. Things we are taking: ALL KINDS OF PICTURES (LP, DBS, JK, FM, any band we cover on LPL) - Show pictures - Ticket pictures - Upgrades of pictures we already have on the site - M&G wristbands, VIP wristbands, GA pit wristbands, any kind of wristbands or passes - Show posters - Anything that we don't already have on LPLive that has to do with the show basically We would like scans preferably but if not, please no blurry pictures...take good ones! We want this to be a good database of LP information. Thanks!

Brazil Show Confirmed / Sheffield NOT Confirmed
hahninator replied to hahninator's topic in Newswire
I think the largest newspaper said yesterday in Chile that LP was playing and 2 more today said it or something. I'm pretty sure that show will take place. LP really needs to do a full South American Tour. Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru. Then play Mexico, Guatemala and Costa Rica...DONE. -
I fully believe there's a message in that GIF.

Brazil Show Confirmed / Sheffield NOT Confirmed

Yeah if you had to ask my personal opinion, I'd say between now and next weekend, they'll confirm both Chile and Sheffield. Then I hope a fucking USA tour! -
Brazil Show Confirmed / Sheffield NOT Confirmed
hahninator replied to hahninator's topic in Newswire
There's a show in Chile 2 days before this, lol. -
LP has confirmed the Brazil show via there website here. "Hey Brazil, we'll see you in October. Yes, it's actually happening. We’re excited to announce that we’ll be playing in South America for the first time in 6 years on October 11th at SWU Music and Arts Festival in São Paulo, Brazil. Ticket info coming soon. Click HERE for more information on the the festival." Congrats! Hopefully they base a South American Tour around this show. EDIT: Adam wants me to tell you guys that the Sheffield, UK show on 6 November is NOT confirmed officially by the band yet. Due to MySpace glitches, shows are appearing that have not been officially added to their list, and this was the case for Sheffield. Stay tuned to LP.com and the LP Twitter for announcements and official confirmation of shows.

Change the theme!

http://lplive.net/2009.php New year page http://lplive.net/shows/20090730.php New show page Yeah we thought custom was better. We thought about making it all interlocked with the themes but I wanted one forum theme and one site theme, so I thought custom was best. And yeah of course there's always an hour of transition time lol, nothing works 100% the second you put it online Hope you enjoy it.

Remember at the bottom right of the forums you can change your forum skin to match your site skin!!

Welcome to LPLive 4.0! Here's a simple (& hopefully short) guide from the Hahninator on what is up with the new version of our live website. The first thing you'll see when you log in is a different theme most likely. At the top you'll notice we have all new dropdown menus instead of the links on the right. Everything is organized in nice little dropdown areas so you can get to them quicker. Check out the themes on the right. Hybrid Theory, Reanimation, Meteora, Minutes To Midnight, Dead By Sunrise, Music For Relief and LPLive 2.0 are all themes you can select. On the right hand side of the homepage, you'll see a log in for the forum! Everything is all integrated now so the forum theme matches the site theme, etc...you're logged in to the SITE, not just the forum. Scroll down and there's the huge huge huge upcoming/previous show area for LP, Julien-K and whoever else is touring. Scroll further and you'll see Random Fact Rotation. Provided by the community know-it-all Astat with a little collaboration from me involved, we tried to find some of the coolest facts around (we have over 100 and something so you shouldn't get bored that quickly) for you all. Next let's move on to the year pages. I wanted an entirely new design for the year and show pages and this is the best idea we all agreed on. New headings for each tour and opposing them is the number of shows on the tour. Everything is a bit more separated, but there's flags in there for each country now! All the colors are in tact - blue for rescheduled, black for sources, etc. Wait, what's that S T and P? S indicates the show has Show Pictures, T means Ticket Stubs and P means Show Posters! So now on the YEAR page you can tell what the SHOWS have without even clicking them. Click the show for more information, which is what I want to show you next. The new show pages are huge. We had the whole page to work with and we took advantage of it. Previous and Next Show links are there as well as a link to return to the year page. There's full information at the top on the show, opening bands, etc. Look below for the setlist and the setlist NOTES to the right. We only have notes in for a few tours, they are quite time consuming so we'll be adding those over the next week. There's show notes, other notes, sources, debuts, and then the pictures. Sources are now at the bottom for those of you casual fans that don't want to see them, haha. Other highlights: The statistics page (under the Site dropdown). That will have a lot more added to it in the coming weeks but it's a great start in my opinion. Also, the Contact & Submit. VERY easy way to submit show photos, show posters, ticket stubs, everything. It emails it all right to us from the form and can be added to the site ASAP! See Amanda's thread for more information on 4.0. And now for a huge THANK YOU to everyone involved in 4.0. Amanda has literally been in charge of the entire process from the start over a year and a half ago until now and has really kicked some ass in getting it done. Major major thanks and an incredible job done on her part. She really brought it with designing the themes too...which are my favorite. A new ACP behind the scenes makes it so easy for staff to get things done now and I do really appreciate that too. Mike has transferred all the info from 2.0 to 4.0 and has continually edited it all throughout the entire process. I am pretty sure Mike has put more man hours into 4.0 than anything I've ever seen. Nick came up with the rotating theme idea and has provided thoughtful insight from day one to now...a big advisor on the entire project. Jonas has been an epic help too. He oversaw the entire build of the site, helped with the ACP and the design, edited all the shows and content and served as a big advisor in the creative process of the site. Jonas is the one I worked with closely on the new show/year pages. Lastly, SergSlim has spent quite a time on the site himself with a lot of mass transfers of show pages and layout-related things. LPLive really wouldn't be where it is now without these people. They dedicate so much fucking time into this website it is INCREDIBLE. I literally had almost nothing to do with 4.0 - I helped do the year/show page ideas and then left it up to the team to make everything happen. 4.0 belongs to these people. They came through very well, I love the results. Ever since I was in Germany last year, we've been going through hardcore ideas and designs for the site...these guys have really come through. Thank you to Amanda for heading the entire project, thank you to Mike, Jonas, SergSlim, Nick and everyone else involved one way or another with LPLive 4.0! We have lots of stuff that we are adding to the site (setlist notes lol) throughout the coming weeks, so I'll post in the 4.0 area as it's all updated. I hope you enjoy LPLive 4.0! Please let us know what you think! -Mark

Where are you from? -
this = big thread lol

Not sure on any plans right now but I want to try and go to 1 of the German shows. Maybe Frankfurt.
-
Think I might try 1 or 2 German shows.

If you head over to the Live Talk area of the forums, I just started threads for something I've been wanting to do for a while on LPL. It will be very successful if we do it right and can we people to participate. I made a thread for every show on the tour, and in these threads, people discuss who's going to each show, stuff like where to meet up pre and post show (LPL M&G info too), maybe what to eat and all....then after the show you post your pictures and discuss the show. Other people that want to follow a show will now do it through those threads too, so everything is all organized into 1 thread for each show and not scattered into several throughout the forums. With that said, let's give it a shot. I know the shows are months away but we can at least say maybe who's going or something, haha. Wilderness/Lee Adams will be attending all Europe shows. 11.10.2010 - Itu, SP - Starts With You Festival 20.10.2010 - Berlin, BE, O2 World 22.10.2010 - Stuttgart, BW, Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle 23.10.2010 - Linz, AT, TipsArena 25.10.2010 - Paris, FR, Bercy 27.10.2010 - Köln, NW, LANXESS Arena 29.10.2010 - Hamburg, HH, O2 World 01.11.2010 - Zürich, CH, Hallenstadion 02.11.2010 - Frankfurt, HE, Festhalle 04.11.2010 - Manchester, UK, MEN Arena 06.11.2010 - Sheffield, UK, Sheffield Arena 09.11.2010 - Birmingham, UK, LG Arena 10.11.2010 - London, UK, O2 Arena LPL Meet&Greet at the upcoming LP Tour So if you're going to the shows, drop a post! This will help when 4.0 comes. Thanks!
