There's more information available today about LP playing in Santiago, Chile on October 9th for the Maquinaria Festival at the venue Club Hípico. The promoter of the show, TransistorGigs, has confirmed to the music website HumoNegro (who is in charge of announcing the official festival event information) that Linkin Park, The Pixies and Incubus are the headliners for the show and it will also feature Cavalera Conspiracy, Rahzel, Erol Alkan and a few more bands that will be confirmed later. The festival will start at 12:00pm local time and run until 1:00am, so it'll be an all day festival. The promoter says Linkin Park recently 100% confirmed their participation in the show, so we expect an announcement to be on LinkinPark.com within the next few days. The link below also gives all of the ticket information for the show and more info on the bands. It says things like the venue capacity is for 50,000 people, etc. The official promo poster for the concert can be found here. So it seems Linkin Park really is playing in Santiago, and right now this would be the first show of 2010 for them. Congratulations South American fans! Source here. Thanks to Danielpsoad-09 for the information, translation and getting me all of the info I needed for the post. EDIT: Show roll call thread can be found here.

Figure.09 -- The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.
hahninator replied to Legend's topic in Everything Linkin Park
This is the best post I have ever read on LPLive. Ever. This is amazing. -
You joined in March 2010. I was posting things like this in mid 2007, lol. What PR02 shows?
-
This. I think that's a bad album name. But for a single, it could possibly work. Sounds totally different than anything LP's ever done. Doesn't sound like a song with the OMG I HATE MY LIFE, I SUX lyrics that Hybrid Theory had.

This fucking message game Mike is playing with us is holding up the new album.

Added setlist notes and tidied up show notes for the following shows: http://lplive.net/shows/20070524.php http://lplive.net/shows/20070525.php http://lplive.net/shows/20070527.php http://lplive.net/shows/20070528.php http://lplive.net/shows/20070530.php http://lplive.net/shows/20070601.php http://lplive.net/shows/20070602.php http://lplive.net/shows/20070605.php http://lplive.net/shows/20070606.php http://lplive.net/shows/20070608.php http://lplive.net/shows/20070609.php http://lplive.net/shows/20070611.php http://lplive.net/shows/20070612.php http://lplive.net/shows/20070613.php http://lplive.net/shows/20070616.php http://lplive.net/shows/20070707.php http://lplive.net/shows/20070717.php

Today, while editing the setlist notes for the 2007 shows on the European Tour, I discovered something I've never seen before. Most hardcore fans of LP live (as well as LPLive.net lol) know that Rock am Ring 2007 was the first time that the band extended the bridge of 'Bleed It Out'. It's pretty cool considering that was only the 10th performance of the song before they started altering it and changing it up live. I don't think they've changed other songs that quickly...? But anyway, 6 shows later on that tour in Zürich, Switzerland, the band changed the setlist slightly. 'What I've Done' and 'Bleed It Out' were switched...'Bleed It Out' closed the main set for the first time and gave the band a lot of room to mess with it. And mess with it they did. I'm sure many of you are familiar with how many things 'Bleed It Out' has had over the years, from a drum solo intro to several sing-a-long bridges to a slow -> fast outro. Today while researching the European Tour, I decided to look at that very first 'Bleed It Out' that they closed the main set with, from Zürich. After rewatching the video about 15 times, I decided to share with you guys. Mike and Chester start their idea of the "Say ohh ohh" bridge, but then immediately go into getting each side to curse at each other. Hilarious! The only other time I've seen anything like this is the bridge of 'A Place For My Head' at the Reading Festival show in 2003. Check it out!

Added setlist notes and tidied up show notes for the following shows: http://lplive.net/shows/20080213.php http://lplive.net/shows/20080215.php http://lplive.net/shows/20080216.php http://lplive.net/shows/20080218.php http://lplive.net/shows/20080219.php http://lplive.net/shows/20080222.php http://lplive.net/shows/20080223.php http://lplive.net/shows/20080225.php http://lplive.net/shows/20080226.php http://lplive.net/shows/20080229.php http://lplive.net/shows/20080304.php http://lplive.net/shows/20080306.php http://lplive.net/shows/20080307.php http://lplive.net/shows/20080308.php http://lplive.net/shows/20080310.php Bleed It Out had so many damn notes near the end, I don't even care if it goes onto two lines lol. At some point I'll go back and fix the other 2008 ones and list all the stuff it had instead of just saying Mardi Gras Mix. But not right now Waiting on Jonas to add my corrections to: (can't be edited via the Site ACP) http://lplive.net/shows/20080221-1.php http://lplive.net/shows/20080221-2.php Now on to 2007...lol....

QFT. Would rather not be affiliated with people getting fucked by WBR lol.
-
I'm sure it will be lol. Got a request to take it down, sorry.
-
Internal website.

lol @ noone believing this. I'm telling you, it's as real as it gets, considering it comes from an official WB website, but believe what you want. They release stuff like this early on the sites so retailers/media can preorder it and all that. I actually don't know if it has the title on there or not, just a date.

I see them dropping either Given Up or No More Sorrow, or rotating them. FTI and LFY yeah. But probably keep SIB and Numb...LP has to play those singles, lol! Heck yeah I saw 4 shows in 2008 on Projekt Rev (Charlotte, WPB, Tampa, ATL) and WPB was by far the best. I had a BLAST. The crowd was just amazing and the setlist was A+. It's the only time I got to see What I've Done open the show...I loved it. Very very good show. I will be attending all future LP shows in West Palm Beach lol
-
I say Sweden gets a show in 2011. Definitely a part of the European Tour in the summer of 2011. I bet LP does Rock am Ring, Rock im Park and some other huge festivals. But as far as this goes, I'm glad it's not Copenhagen again...I'd rather LP play in different cities they've never played in before. Like Hannover in 2008.

We have sources inside Warner Bros in various countries across the world who leak and give us this information. Some of it has to be censored to protect various things...this isn't exactly the right way of going about doing things since this information is of course, supposed to stay within the record label/band's management and not supposed to be leaked, but we do leak things sometimes....this is one of them. We can't give any information on the source and exactly who and WHY the things that are censored are censored, but I can tell you that this is as legit as it gets. This is no scam, lol, I don't let our staff put up bullshit information on LPLive. I check and make sure everything we post is as legit as it can be (and if something is wrong, I do take blame personally since I approve just about everything that's put in the Newswire...usually it's not wrong because of us, etc). /2cents

Setlist notes added for this show: http://lplive.net/shows/20080212.php Setlist notes added for these shows as well as we titled these 10 shows and put them under the "Minutes To Midnight Promo Tour". Show notes and all that updated. These 10 are ready to go. http://lplive.net/shows/20070428.php http://lplive.net/shows/20070430.php http://lplive.net/shows/20070502.php http://lplive.net/shows/20070503.php http://lplive.net/shows/20070504.php http://lplive.net/shows/20070506.php http://lplive.net/shows/20070511.php http://lplive.net/shows/20070512.php http://lplive.net/shows/20070518.php http://lplive.net/shows/20070519.php Right Hand Side Menu updated. Links on the Upcoming 5 Shows for LP have been changed from lplive.net/shows/ to lplive.net/2010.php and the Julien-K ones to lplive.net/julienk.php. That's all for today. More tomorrow.

Thanks Mike. Updated the setlist notes and tidied up the show notes (& added a few) to these shows: http://lplive.net/shows/20080116.php http://lplive.net/shows/20080117.php http://lplive.net/shows/20080118.php http://lplive.net/shows/20080120.php http://lplive.net/shows/20080121.php http://lplive.net/shows/20080122.php http://lplive.net/shows/20080124.php http://lplive.net/shows/20080125.php http://lplive.net/shows/20080127.php http://lplive.net/shows/20080128.php http://lplive.net/shows/20080129.php So all of those are done. Now I have to do the North American Arena Tour in 2008 and then....on to 2007. Damn lol. So time consuming to do the setlist notes but at least they're very accurate. You have to listen to every single DSP...certain songs every night: Points, Bleed It Out, A Place For My Head, Breaking The Habit, etc.

If Jay-Z plays the London shows, holy shit lol
-
Wow congrats! That's awesome! Post in the show roll call thread and maybe there's a few others from LPLive going to the show.
