Need to see Mike post on his blog about this and take this guy to the fucking cleaners to provide me with some great Friday afternoon entertainment. That = better than another message.
-
This might be the most illegal thing I've ever seen lol. Imagine what kind of fucking contracts you'd have to sign just to get access to this CD. Damn. If we got threatened to be taken offline by WBR just for posting What I've Done, I don't wanna know what's gonna happen to this guy. Or maybe they can't do anything at all. Who knows. But it'll be interesting to see if this gets pulled or not. Someone isn't gonna be happy seeing this on eBay.
-
Remember that guy on eBay that tried to sell the Fort Minor instrumentals in like 2007 for a huge sum of money? Then WBR got it taken down? I'm not sure if this is THAT guy or maybe the She Couldn't asshole (the one that made 100 CDs of the 8 track demo and resold them for a huuuuuge profit), but someone is up to some dirty work right now on eBay. The account was created recently and the guy is from LA, so this might be that She Couldn't dude that is leaking internal WBR CDs. He told me once he got them all from LP's manager, but I don't buy that. ANYWAY..... Check this out, someone is selling 16 multitracks of One Step Closer from an internal WBR CD from February 7, 2001. 16 TRACKS ONE FOR EACH CHANNEL & GREAT FOR UNDERGROUND REMIXERS & THAT ONE LINKIN PARK FAN…VERY RARE & HANDED OVER FOR THE REMIX PROJECT “REANIMATION” CD-Reference: *Warner Brothers Rec., February 7th, 2001 from DA-88 source, individual tracks, without timecode; not all DA-88 tapes had time code & none had a sync pop at the top, so all tracks are "wild",without accompanying time code. Total time: 42 min & 42 seconds (TRT/43:42) LINKIN PARK : Track "One Step Closer" Parts 1. Sample Snare/Kick 2:26 2. Snare /Hat 2:31 3. Toms L&R 2:06 4. Overheads L&R 2:32 5. Room Mics L&R 3:00 6. Click 95bpm 2:29 Total 43:42 Check it out here. This is probably a copy of the CD LP gave the Humble Bros to remix OSC with. Hopefully LP management, WBR, Mike or SOMEONE sees this and gets this taken down. Just so some of you know, there's already several files of multitracks from One Step Closer circulating out there somewhere (I believe we posted them on LPL at one point...?) from Guitar Hero or whatever game OSC was in.

WTF is this. Figure.09 does not have an acoustic guitar. I thought they were making Figure.09 part 2. I do not approve.
-
Great suggestions. Would love to do the following themes: - LPU 9 - LP DSP - Collision Course - Fort Minor - Julien-K LPL radio idea - Nick brought up the idea of having an LPL player stream all audio shows...like, everything.
-
I like that little slogan lol. I think we have big potential with this. What about maybe a big art contest for LPLive? Top 3 winners get prizes and everyone that submits good banners can have them on the site. That'd be SWEET. And we can have the forum members vote on everyone, etc. That'd be really cool. I made a thread in Newswire for this, btw.
-
So LPLive 4 has been out for a little while now - what do you guys think? I wanted to ask you if there was anything you'd like to see on the site that we currently don't have? A few things that are still being worked on include the download section (I promise it'll be really big) and the setlist notes on shows (those take so long to finish up). But what are some of the things you like, some of the things you don't like and what are some of the things you'd like to see changed/fixed? Like do you want more site/forum themes? Which ones? Anything you want to see changed or added to the show/year pages? I made a poll here in Site Information in the forums asking about rotating banners since quite a few people said they wanted to see them brought back, so go drop by and vote on that if you have a second. Thanks!

Acoustic guitars are holding up the new album
-
Time for a poll. A few people have brought up the fact that they'd like to see rotating banners on LPLive again. They were removed for 4.0 but I believe we can put them back in if people have interest. We can take the good ones (none of those blurry ones lol) from 2.0 and add them to 4.0, or we can actually do different banners for different themes. People can submit new ones too of course. I like the banners we had in 2.0 - some were really cool so I definitely think we should bring some over to 4.0, maybe in the 2.0 theme, but a bunch of new ones would be sweet. What do you guys think?

Recordings don't even exist for like 30% of these. For the rest, do some trading, collecting and searching. Total pain in the ass to rip shit from DVDs, convert FLAC to mp3 and all that to make one huge upload post of this. Some of this isn't even allowed here.

This is badass. But Papercut is one word, not two, lol. http://lplive.net/shows/20070813.php It's from this show.

News report! New LP album set for September
hahninator replied to jez87's topic in Everything Linkin Park
LP didn't tell me that, so LP isn't lying to me, lol. LP rehearsals start in early September. No sooner, no later. -
News report! New LP album set for September
hahninator replied to jez87's topic in Everything Linkin Park
This. I know rehearsals start the first week of September. So I guess rehearse for a week or two. Santiago is October 9. I guess they have time for at least an LA or NYC show (or both) beforehand. If the record comes out the 3rd week of September I can only see them rehearsing for like a week and a half then going to play some shows. Usually they start well before the album release date. I wonder why they aren't this time. -
LP - 10.11.2010 - London, UK, O2 Arena (Night 1)
hahninator replied to hahninator's topic in Show Roll Call
I'm doing seats. I did pit for Zurich, couldn't see shit, did pit for Grafen and Stuttgart and loved it. Depends how early you wanna get there. I'm showing up during/after the opening band, really late, so I want seats. This is not a trip about LP for me, just a trip to England/Scotland with my girlfriend and also being able to see LP. She was only down for night 1, had to convince her to do night 2 too by saying we didn't have to show up at 4pm lol. I'll get seats and when the USA tour rolls around jam in the fucking pit. -
LP - 09.11.2010 - Birmingham, UK, LG Arena

This isn't a Projekt Revolution show. Or tour for that matter. In fact, there's nothing Projekt Revolution-related that's been announced at all since 2008. -
I saw Jay-Z two weeks ago at Bonnaroo. He uses the Points Of Authority riff in the middle of 99 Problems as well as playing the Numb/Encore instrumental. I LOVED his set. Fuck, he closed with Numb/Encore but went into a 9 minute version with fireworks and stuff. The place was going crazy. My tape is up on DIME of it. It's 6 years later but I wish LP would tour with Jay-Z...a big tour. The crowds would still love it. Play all 6 CC songs. Not of that half of Numb/Encore bullshit lol. I can only dream...
-
Yeah actually this is really good for LP. The first time they might've thought it was just a one lucky show thing. But now they have 2 shows there - Chile AND Brazil, and if the crowds are REALLY awesome they will probably realize they can tour in South America and make money. Maybe then next year or in 2012 they'll play there again and play more countries...slowly adding more. I've seen LP 9 times. I'm all for them playing in places where people have never seen them before. Serbia, India, Israel, South America, Central America, west side of Canada, South Africa. That'd be awesome. Just give me DSP's of them all and I'm good to go!

Clearly, Figure.09 is the best song ever written by Linkin Park \m/
-
This can all be solved by Mike just growing a pair and performing No Roads Left live. But wait, that might hold up the new album.

Europe > USA. Make the transition with me LOL

ericbobo "@lplive: LP confirms Chile show. Argentina rumored...? http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=4709" 7 minutes ago via Twitter for BlackBerry® Bobo follows LPLive, LOL. That's badass!!!

Valentine's Day destroys the album version of Bleed It Out. There, I said it. I love Valentine's Day for its very unique song structure. BIO album version just does not bring it and doesn't do the song any damn justice. Now go listen to BIO from the best DSP ever (aka Auburn 2007) and THAT is a masterpiece. Slow -> fast outro at that show, DAMN. BIO live is a monster. Well, it was in 2007. 2008 and 2009, it was cool, just not as epic. But BIO album version...yucky.
-
You guys that have waited for so long, why don't you save and travel to Brazil or Chile lol? That'd be sweet if they added it. I'd like to see them do like a 10-12 show tour in South & Central America but it'd never happen.
-
Yeah for real, I bet these shows will like 50,000+ at each one. They are festivals but still, the people wanna see their Linkin Park lol. That'd be cool if they confirmed Argentina and even another country or 2. LP needs to give some attention to those countries. This is a really good start too - maybe they'll go back there next year or in 2012. I like the fact they're playing 2 shows...2 is better than 1. However, I do hope this means we'll have DSP's for both lol.

Consistent with our threads about the Chile show (6/16 rumor here and 6/26 promoter confirming here), Linkin Park has now confirmed their appearance in Santiago, Chile. LP.com: "We're excited to announce that we'll be performing at the Maquinaria Festival in Santiago, Chile on October 9th. Tickets are on sale now HERE." LP.com source here. And guess what? This confirmation now makes this the largest Linkin Park tour in South America...EVER. Two shows. Err..yeah. The rest of the 2010 Linkin Park tour dates can be found on LPLive here or on LP.com here. Also, LPLive user "XeroSoldier" has posted a thread today in "Got News?" about a rumored Argentina show. Source for that is here, and it doesn't really say they have any confirmation from the band, but they say that it's "expected that the band will soon confirm an appearance in our country". I do know that that's a pretty legit website so it could be true, you never know, but I don't think they have anything but a rumor going on at this point. If anything else comes up about Argentina, I'll be sure and keep you all informed. And we just fixed the image submission form too, so as you guys are getting those 2010 ticket stubs, be sure and send in your pics/scans! Right now we only have all 5 German shows and the Manchester show. We definitely need more! Thanks and congrats again to those in South America (Chile & Brazil)!
