LPAmerican has posted the following, (English has been fixed up for my liking) "According to the Peruvian sites cronicaviva.com.pe and larepublica.peo, Linkin Park will play a concert in the country during their tour that is scheduled to happen in October. The show will be in Lima, Peru, if the negotiations end up coming true. Linkin Park has already confirmed concerts in Chile and Brazil, and another show is rumored for Argentina. The Peruvians' hopes can also be boosted by a statement from a Brazilian businessman who believes that the band will play five concerts in Latin America." Of course, nothing has been confirmed yet but Gabe Simas has posted on Twitter that he thinks that LP will play 5 shows in October down there. Thanks to LPAmerican for the heads up.

I think that's a great idea. Dave did that with a Foo CD. Rock songs on one CD, acoustic/softer songs on the other CD. If ATS had two CDs (I wish), I'd love it if one was electro and one was rock.

God damn the Airplanes version by B.O.B. they play on the radio is AWFUL. First of all, part 2 destroys the first one. But they play the first one, dunno why the label released that one as the single, but they speed it up slightly...it's so recognizable. Hate it. One, Master Of Puppets, and The Day That Never Comes by Metallica, A Looking In View by Alice In Chains and several Tool songs...I've seen quite a few LONG songs on the radio. I doubt Catalyst will be edited in mainstream radio. It might have a radio edit but I bet they play the studio version very frequently. It's LP, lol. On radio, I've heard a long Two Step by Dave Matthews Band, Susie Q by Creedence Clearwater Revival, I Will Possess Your Heart by Death Cab For Cutie, Hurt by Nine Inch Nails, etc. They play tons and tons of long songs. lol @ Down With The Sickness. You kinda HAVE to edit that as the bridge is like pure cussing.

My two cents on this entire thread: LP has Warner by the fucking balls and I believe they can play whatever they want live. I think few bands have that ability, but I do think LP has that. I talked to 10 Years personally with Preston in April and Tater flat out told us the record label forces them to play certain songs live (mainly Beautiful and the other singles). HOWEVER, LP is a band that wants to bring it live and in my opinion, they think by playing all the singles live will get a crowd really going. That's true, but I do think they should switch it up more. It sucks Mike said in the LPU chat that it's unlikely we'll ever get any HTEP songs live due to the fact that they had to play the bigger songs. Chester's back was fucked, but it's fine now. How do I know that? I saw FOUR shows in 2009 and Chester & the rest of the band was ROCKING. Even Joe was bouncing (WTF, is it 2004 again?). Chester is fully recovered from that injury. I was really worried that he wouldn't be moving at all on stage last year but he really brought it, so there's nothing wrong with him obviously anymore. I do wonder though, why he could nail the FTI intro scream fully in 2007 but in 2009 he couldn't even get like half of it? Maybe they do hate certain songs. Easier To Run was dropped in 2003 after only two tours...I found it interesting they did P5hng Me A*wy in the encore in 2004 instead of ETR. I do think they'll bring certain songs back like Figure.09 and especially some HT songs since it's the 10th anniversary. Surely they'll change the god damn setlists this year since it's an entirely new touring cycle. If not...oh boy, lol.
