  1. If Chester truly didn't give a fuck he'd have canceled Indianapolis and then the entire tour yesterday. But he didn't.
  2. https://www.facebook.com/lplive/posts/10153183029738267I posted about this today. LP France and WCK Production made a full concert experience of the show. Pretty cool. Watching it now and the angles are solid.
  3. Geki, it sucks you lose travel expenses such as the hotel (and maybe flight, but you're driving right?) but your tickets will be refunded. I know you have GA pit for the shows but you have an extremely high chance of getting that again for future LP shows since this tour is selling extraordinarily worse than Carnivores Tour (except Brooklyn and Orlando). Nashville (seats 20,000) had no more than 8,000 there, Indy had around 7,000. You will get pit again. And I understand being upset because we have plane tickets to Atlantic City and Brooklyn this weekend. We'll go anyway and have a good time whether there is a show or not because we don't want to just sit around and lose money on plane tix and hotels. Ryan Shuck commented on my FB and said they weren't canceling the whole tour. We'll see if he's right. It's a case where they need to see if he needs surgery or to see if this will impact him long term if he plays 15 (!) more shows on it across two countries. There's a reason to be upset but there's no reason to be an ass about it. Of course he plays Indianapolis because Chester is a great guy and isn't the type of person to pull out of a show 4 hours beforehand while fans are entering the venue. That hasn't happened to LP ever except for the festival in 2008 where Brad's ear infection had them cancel. This whole thing is bringing out some true idiots online. Some of the top things I've seen...."OH CHESTER CANCELS ENTIRE TOURS ALL THE TIME WHAT THE FUCK", "THEY ONLY PLAYED 3 SONGS IN WEST PALM BEACH IN THE ARENA LAST YEAR BECAUSE HE PULLED THIS SAME SKETCH SHIT", "The band has never cared about their fans and cancels as much as possible". Christ. All incorrect. I sympathize with those who are affected by the cancels but I TRULY don't understand people who live in Pittsburgh and Albany that have NEVER traveled outside of those cities to see the band. It's like the "poor me" thing. LP has played within hours of both of those cities in the past few years....I guarantee if they changed *something* in their life that they spent money on that they could afford to drive a few hours *one* time to see LP instead of waiting for them to come to their city for so many years. Hell, they haven't played in Albany since 2001 and Burgettstown, PA got their last show in 2008.
  4. That has to be absolutely miserable to be the lead singer of a rock band and you can't jam during the show. Chester is easily the most active person on stage in the band and moves around a lot on literally every single song. That'd be torture to play 15 more shows, attend an LPU Summit, and travel across two countries while in a wheelchair and/or on crutches. Geeze.
  5. http://lplive.net/shows/db/julienk/20141024J Wasn't this just the video Ryan put on his FB? California Noir?
  6. Ok so the crowd at this show was terrible. Entire 300s closed off, 200s had empty sections, floor was around half full. Band sounded great once again for two shows in a row so that's a plus. Set B is good, except for the encore. I like A a lot. I guess they are tired of UIG/Rebellion. Next, I have a few things to add. Phoenix was on the synth pad before BID waiting for Chester to finish his speech. When BID started (he thought it was LITE), he panicked and ran to get his bass, ha. Then on BID he started throwing picks into the crowd. Mike asked Tim from Rise Against to come out on BIO. "DO WE HAVE ANY....FRIENDS HERE? ANY FRIENDS THAT WOULD LIKE TO COME OUT?" and they waited like 10 seconds....looked to the side of the stage, etc....no Tim. Aaron is fine on Iridescent but Austin sounded pretty bad on Faint to me.
  7. Not me. Mark when APFMH is dropped: God damnit where's APFMH? Mark when APFMH is added: Just watch my Instagram videos from Orlando and Nashville. The setlists are much better with FTI/APFMH, to me. I can tell the band isn't enjoying UIG, and they are on the micstand the whole time on Rebellion. Fuck it. Chester is EXPLODING on FTI/APFMH this tour and I love it. Keep those. That would be me complaining. I haven't complained about anything since Orlando. Huge fan of these setlists. The new production and the epic sound of this tour makes this one of the best LP shows I've seen since 2009. They are kicking ass on this tour...Chester sounds like a boss. FTI/APFMH are huge additions to the show.
  8. The whole show is canceled. LP is the headlining band. Those bands might elect to move to a smaller venue and do their own shows, or partner up for a show. I bet that is something they were already working on before LP officially announced the cancellations. They'd tell the openers before the general public, for sure. I did think they'd cancel shows this tour but I thought it would be because Chester got sick. Didn't think it would be a legit injury. I am now interested in what canceling two shows will do. I know nothing about broken bones, but what is the difference in playing Albany or Atlantic City two days later? I bet this is so he can get back to LA and get it properly examined to determine if he can continue the tour or if he has to have surgery (or just heal) and cancel the rest of the tour. Hopefully it gets made up if that happens.
  9. It's behind Pooch. So not a great spot. You'd be better off on the actual floor. They had a good amount of people there yeah. Not too spacious.
  10. Only two setlists this tour. A and B. They will not be performing Rebellion, UIG, or any other "newer" songs off of THP to my knowledge.
  11. Soooooo many butthurt people about the setlists lol, finally some sets I JAM to. FTI and APFMH are fucking epic. I have no idea how Brad was/is so against playing APFMH when he seems to have a blast playing it live. DOYS / LFY was fantastic tonight, way better than the start of Carnivores. Awesome stuff. Hope Jay-Z comes out in Brooklyn. Band in excellent shape this tour. Tonight's crowd was awful. Maybe 8,000.
  12. I would never wait in line for LP unless it was a club tour for HT or Meteora. I am 90% sure they'll do A twice in a row. Indianapolis for B. To my knowledge, they've already decided to do it that way. I'm not at every show. This tour I am seeing 5 shows.
  13. Just watch my instageam video. I thought the intro was some Brad fakeout tease 100%. Because how many times have I wanted to see APFMH? A million. I said na no way. Then it began. I lost my fucking mind. Whole song. The production was so disgusting. Lights going everywhere. Chester BLOWING up.
  14. Oh I will take FTI and APFMH aka two of the filthiest jams in the fucking business over THP all day long. Please watch Chester on FTI on my Instagram. The man was EXPLODING. APFMH production was insane.
  15. No transition into WID but the transition from ND was there. Yes same fast tempo crawling.
  16. Holy mother FUCK. Freaking out. I'll post a review later tonight. Pooch introduced me to Mark Tremonti(!!!!) after the show wow. So happy. FTI and APFMH were disgusting. 30th show for me and THAT happens. Haven't seen FTI in 5.5 years. Those two blow Rebellion and UIG away. Astat: ND was 100% full. Weird the setlist says short. It's wrong. Crawling was a new abridged I guess? Intro, first verse, chorus, ending. Is that different than what they've been doing? APFMH had Brad solo intro then the studio intro after it. It was so good. Not 2008 Brad solo intro. A new one. Production was spot on. Huge loud sound. Pooch cranked it. New lighting on a few songs like WID. I'm on about a level of 25 out of 10 right now. So impressed. Chester in FLAWLESS shape tonight.
  17. I think Orlando might be the most gloomy, boring town I've been to see LP in in quite a while. At least Mansfield had Boston nearby. Orlando doesn't have much at all.
  18. Really was hoping for ALITS. The band seems lazy to me if they don't change the setlists but maybe they just don't feel motivated enough to do it. They love this show a lot.
  19. I'm here in Orlando. What I think they'll do is drop Runaway and add War, in both sets. I don't see them changing anything else. And I think they'll keep all 3 guests in the set. What I hope they DON'T do is shorten something or drop something because it's the first show of the tour. Sunrise 2011 and WPB 2014 both had that happen. They've had trouble with the first show sometimes. But let's hope for Set B at least. I'll tweet the set live and you'll see it on the LPL Twitter as Soul will copy it and put it there. I tweet too much random shit for me to do it myself from the LPL one. Starting to enjoy the stuff we do outside of the shows more than the shows themselves. Good opportunities to see the cities and to do fun things in them. The shows take a lot of time and energy but I guess it isn't the same if we don't go.
  20. I think they are tired of BID. The interview Mike said where they felt "forced" to play certain songs that were "...more inclined for radio" (aka he was being as "musically politically correct" as possible lol) hinted to me that they are tired of that song.
  21. Really not sure. War seems like the easiest one to play so it isn't really surprising to me. I wonder if they'll keep it at that or add A Line In The Sand. I bet they didn't rehearse for so long (only rehearsing for 3 days for this tour) because Phoenix at the Rock am Ring interview said that they rehearsed "pretty much the whole album" in April/May. For a song they already know, I'm sure it's just keeping them fresh with it. However, Castle Of Glass did take them a few weeks, haha.
  22. I don't think we will ever see them play another show without BID, Numb, FM, etc...or at least a majority of those. The band loves those singles.
  23. I think Slipknot will headline Mayhem.
  24. The coolest find yet (to me) is the super early promo for a Grey Daze show that mentions STP covers. Epic.
  25. Fiore is SUCH a fucking tease with stuff that I honestly would agree with you here. If anyone is the person to do that, it's Fiore. I am hoping they play it too, man, Really want to see that live. And oh that mix of Wastelands is so good. Damn. Wish we had DSPs.
