Going to the DC show my first pit tickets! excited!

ugh.. VA date please please please :[

i really hope i see a VA date in there. the only times they've come here has been during PR in the summer and it's always been the beach... i'm hoping to see a charlottesville or bristow date in there if not, i will travel to DC/NC if i have to!

after several hours i can't find it at all.... disappointed

1/10 - no roads left. 1/10 - easier to run. 1/10 - numb. 1/10 - all interludes on ATS. 9/10 - every other piece of music they have ever graced with their talent; including reanimation, mmm... cookies, not alone, we made it (technically not their song but w/e), etc. OH, and: 1/10 - fort minor. 9/10 - dead by sunrise.

LP wins just because of the nutella.

cut out the pointless interludes and it'll be perfect. i'm glad they played "the messenger"... i hope it gets played at the US shows as well.

This. he looks wayyyy too huge considering in recent photos he looks no where NEAR that big. plus the skin tone looks off ;\ LAME.

this is an awesome set list! starts out with heavier stuff then melds into slower stuff, and now back into the heavier side! wish i was there, i bet it's a badass show!

Because no one was there to see LP compared to all the others that were performing/nominated. That's why they weren't even mentioned during the show until 7 minutes before hand.

Chester is human too, he's allowed to not be perfect, the same as Mike. In my opinion he was fine but I could barely hear him.

So they're playing at the end of the show for sure? I was guessing they would be opening.

my thoughts exactly. like i said, i've never seen them act like that until i watched this. very upsetting.

there's way too much distortion in the editing, almost made me sick with the way the camera kept shaking and blurring. and it kind of came off as none of them being happy and constantly being at each others throats about things. i know a lot of it was most likely stress but i've never seen them all so frustrated. the end though, where chester gave his 'fuck everything' speech, redeemed it.

This. What he means is the POSITIVE meaning of "love", not the semi-negatives that are in POA and In Pieces. Also, lol @ the cd being "so guarded" ............

they usually don't announce US dates until approx Feb/March if I remember correctly.

wow more than one song at the VMAs? that's exciting... i wonder which other ones they will play.

I love all the actual songs with vocals, but I don't care for the interludes at all. They flow well, yes, but I prefer actual songs to crickets chirping or speeches with robotic effects. When I have my playlist on random, the last thing I want to hear come up is something like "Empty Spaces", you know? I will probably do what I did with Reanimation: remove the interludes from my music library. The one exception is on "Wretches And Kings"... the speech at the beginning and end adds to the song perfectly, I actually love it. Overall though, this album is absolutely amazing! LP did not fail me, and I admit as one of those dreaded "old school HT fans", I was very skeptical at first. I am in love with Chester's vocals on The Messenger... so glad they opted for an acoustic track.
