  1. So I am here with a report of the show! This is the first Linkin Park show I have been too so naturally I decided to write a big long post about it. I took the light rail to the stadium in hopes that the show would end on time to take the light rail back. This made the concert a lot cheaper. The concert was held at U.S. Airways Center, which is a nice venue for concerts. I have been to this arena two times before. Once for a basketball game and once for an Imagine Dragons concert. I walked into a side entrance where I ended up right next to a merch table. Normally, I don't splurge on anything when I go to concerts but this time I decided to buy a T-shirt. To this date, I have never owned a Linkin Park T-shirt or a Tour T-shirt. I ended up picking out the gray T-shirt that has the tour dates on the back. Now onto the show. I was in row 18 which ended up being nice because there was a hot girl next to me as well as a hot girl in front of me who knew the people next me. I ended up talking to her for a bit. She was there for Linkin Park as opposed to the people in front of me who were there for 30 Seconds to Mars. She said 'The Hunting Party' had to grow on her but now she likes it. Also, while this may upset the online fanbase, I heard a lot of people talk about 'The Hunting Party' going back to their roots. Anyways, first up was A Fire Inside. I used to be A Fire Inside fan. However, after Decemberunderground, they fell off. When it came to their set, they sounded good but I didn't really know what they were playing as I stopped listening to them a long while ago. The last they played was 'Miss Murder' and that was all I needed from their set to be happy. So, Indeed, I enjoyed AFI's set. Next came 30 Seconds to Mars. I am a huge 30 Seconds to Mars fan, but I have to be honest. I wold never go see a 30 Seconds to Mars show ever again. This was my first time seeing 30 Seconds to Mars and the only information I knew about their live sets were rumors I have heard over the years and one live stream I watched in 2010 I think. The main rumor is that Jared Leto only sings 50% of the words. The second is that they ignore their early work completely. ALL rumors came true. The first thing that I thought was weird was the outfit Jared was wearing. No offense, but it looked like I was at a Kanye West or Tokio Hotel show. Secondly, the rumor that he sings 50% of the time. This was SPOT on. He only sang 50% of the words. Yes, crowd interaction is good, but not in a way that is overkill. I come to hear you perform, sing your dang songs! Jared Leto, if you are only going to sing 50% of the words in your songs, you are in the wrong business. The third and fourth go hand in hand. This is that they ignore their first two albums. Do you want to know how many songs they played from their first two albums? 1. It was an acoustic version. They also act like no one in the crowd knows their previous music. Jared asked, "Do you guys know a song called Kings and Queens?" 'Kings and Queens' is not that old. It's from the album before their last one. As long as the person knows 30 Seconds to Mars, they will know the song. Stop ignoring your work unless you are literally ashamed of your past self. Well, on to Linkin Park. They were amazing! I did not follow the setlist this tour because I wanted to be surprised. However, since I followed the European tour, I already knew what was potentially coming and a lot of stuff was familiar. Starting off the show was the best opening ever! Guilty all the Same into Given Up into Points of Authority into One Step Closer into Rebellion into Runaway with other little things thrown in! It was the best way to open the show! So in your face and heavy! The rest of the set was great too. I am very happy that Final Masquerade was played, it sounded killer! The whole band killed it. Chester, Mike, Joe, and Rob especially! It really was an experience to remember. Honestly, I thought they were one of the best live acts based on videos but this just cemented it. This was the best performance from any band or artist I have ever seen! If it wasn't for 30 Seconds to Mars, this would probably be one of the best concerts I have ever been too. However, because of 30 Seconds to Mars lack of a performance in my opinion, there are other shows this year that have topped it. But don't getme wrong, it was insane! I will definitely go see them again if I ever get a chance! And to AndOne's comment, I loved Crawling last night!
  2. Arizona is hot AF so it makes sense to me. Anyways, I will have a write up soon about my show experience!
  3. Drawbar out second? Its a top 5 song on the album. OUT. I guess Ill vote seeing as the song I want to lose might get out this round: War.
  4. These fans do way less "bitching" than you think they do.
  5. >Implying everyone who goes to Warped Tour is Anti-Mainstream.
  6. Trust me, Most of the West coast doesn't get anything. It's just Cali A. How is it your right to generalize an entire fanbase or everyone who likes a genre? It's not right. We hate when people generalize LP fans or LP themselves yet we turn back and do it to others?B. Along with comment A, not everyone who likes this type of music buys everything from Hot Topic. I know a lot of people including myself who like this kind of music, and no, most of them don't shop at Hot Topic or buy stuff with their parents money. As for me personally, I've only bought one thing ever at HT and that was a Blink-182 t-shirt (my favoite band). C. I like or used to like every band that LP collaborated with tonight except Issues. Does that make me snobby? Does that make me anti-establishment? Watch yourself who're you start generalizing. I expected better from someone like you.
  7. Well, according to tweets ive been seeing, some LP fans were already going to Warped Tour. But, anyways, they need to play a very heavy set. Don't go to warped and play Numb. Play stuff like Victimized/QWERTY
  8. 1. Mark the Graves 2. A Line In the Sand 3. Rebellion/Final Masquerade 5. Castle of Glass 6. Leave Out All the Rest 7. Breaking the Habit 8. Skin to Bone 9. In the End 10. Roads Untraveled Besides the addition of 'The Hunting Party' songs, Skin to Bone, In the End, and Roads Untraveled moved higher on the list of my favorite songs. LOATR has made the top 10 again, which it was in for the longest time until 'Living Things' came out
  9. Q1 and Q2 (really should be no difference): 1. Mark the Graves 2. A Line in the Sand 3. Rebellion/FM EDIT: Holy crap, LPL can now do double polls
  10. 1. War 2. Keys to the Kingdom 3. Until It Breaks 4. Hit the Floor 5. Easier to Run
  11. So I haven't said much on this site, but I love it. THP is 4/4 and shaping up to be their best album yet. I also find it funny how the songs got better with each release. Rebellion>Wastelands>UIG>GATS (IMO) Really love this song! Exicted to hear FM soon!
  12. wait, so you can't hear Page on the song? Is that what I am understanding?
  13. I know you are in love with it and have always liked it the best which is why I was shocked you said something different. It was in the shoutbox so I can't find anything
  14. Wastelands Artwork confirmed real from linkinpark.com download! This mean I could be right about iTunes Countdown after all and we could hear Rebellion and FM soon Hopefully before the album leaks!
  15. It is not on US yet either. Im sure we will get it later tonight. As far as the artowkr, the other two besides Wastelands look real to me. But I have no reason to doubt it whatsoever because Spotify is as legit as you can get.
  16. Yes, and the usual method is through Itunes which is why it got I believe unofficially named an "Itunes Countdown" Also From LPA, Wastelands is avaliable in Russia:
  17. I havent said much on here sijnce I usually comment more on LPA But I LOVE this song. I think it's the best of the 3, barely ahead of UIG. Wastelands>UIG>GATS. But I love them all! 3/3 so far! This album is shaping up to be their best album yet for me! And Like Danielpsoad said, apparently these songs ardent even the highlights of the album! Ive heard great reviews from every track. Some didn't like "War" because its a punk type song and a lot of LP fans dont like punk. But besides that the reviews havent said a bad thing about this album. I have a feeling KTTK and ALITS will be my favorites but we will have to wait and see. So far this album is blowing away any other LP album away. If all the tracks are at least as good as GATS this will easily be their best album yet. The only song im hyped less for than the rest is Final Masquerade. I don't even know why, I just always forget the song exists and stuff (until it recently showed up on Spotify, now ill never forget about it.) But even with not much hype for this song, Im sure its amazing! Aparently its the second softest track on the album (UIG being first) but also has energy to it! So im exicted to see how it and the whole album turns out! Are you calling out LPA? Cause that definitely not necessary AT. ALL. No reason to hate on LPA. Cant we all just get along. Also, if you are. No one on LPA has said its a nu-metal song. We have compared it to "Meteora" and a lot of us are claiming it's what "Meteora" should have been. But no one has actually said it is nu-metal. I havent seen that word once when describing the song. And Ive read every post on LPA about it.
  18. Are you sure? You said LT was your favorite in the shotbox once. and we were all surprised
  19. Ill try to get to the point. Tell me if you need more clarification as I have confused people before explaing this. An Itunes Countdown is when an Artist releases music prior to an album release through Itunes as a special thing. Some emxamples to put it in perspective: The normal type: A band releases a song a week leading up to the album. Usually between 3 and 5 songs. Coldplay's "Mylo Xyoto": Coldplay released a song a day the week before the album. One Republic's "Waking Up": One Republic released one song every two weeks (I believe 3 songs) up to the release of the album.
