  1. Why wouldn't we get the dates until a day before pre-sale? I have never seen an artist do that. Usually it's 3-4 days before pre-sale at the worst. Edit: Also pre-sales usually happen on Thursdays with general on-sale times on Fridays. This has been the case for 99% of shows I have been to or seen the details for. So the 8th seems wrong.
  2. I know I've asked this before but is there any new insight into when these dates will be announced? I was expecting today so here's to hoping as the day isn't even close to over.
  3. Ignore what I said about The Gorge. I didn't realize they played it on the Carnivors tour as I went to the Phoenix date. But i'm back in Washington for good now. And I really hope they don't go back there. Don't want to make that drive if I don't have to.
  4. Was it confirmed to be an Ampitheater tour? Where did you see that at? Upon further review Linkin Park has only played The Gorge twice. 2001 ans 2014. For the sake of my sanity they better play White River Ampitheater or at least Ridgefield. While Ridgefield is just as long as a drive as The Gorge, It's an easier drive and has real bathrooms lol. Last time Blink-182 came to town, they played both the KeyArena and Ridgefield Ampitheater. I doubt Linkin Park would ever do that, but that would be cool if they did. EDIT: Upon further review Linkin Park has never actually played at KeyArena. I am genuinely shocked. Not even Deck the Hall Ball 2003 was at the KeyArena [Venue where they host it every year now]
  5. Too many shows in a row. Also, If they play The Gorge I'm going to be angry. Beautiful venue but WOAT drive out in the middle of nowhere. Doesn't even have real bathrooms. I almost fell asleep at the wheel last time I drove home from that venue. Normally Linkin Park plays The Tacoma Dome when they come to Washington. My guess is they will play The Tacoma Dome or Key Arena. Maybe the Ridgefield Ampitheater if they feel like switching it up. But if I had to put money down I would bet on KeyArena.
  6. Interesting. The 1975 did verified fan pre-sale and it was show specific.
  7. It seems like everyone only gets pre-sale access for one show. You can't sign up for a second show it looks like.
  8. Could definitely see both things happening. Some people definitely need to learn to read before they complain. I hope we don't see too much of it though. People are already complaining about them announcing a tour. LOL. People need to understand that they play old music on their tours.
  9. It also says when you complete the process that you will be switched to the closest city near you automatically if they don't come to your city. "You are currently in line for Seattle, WA. If the band plays there, you'll get a confirmed spot in that line. Otherwise, we'll place you in the closest tour city. Don’t worry, you won’t lose any of your progress! If you’d like to change cities, you can also transfer at any time." From LPL facebook: '1. The LPU goes FIRST as always. There is no need to do these social promotions or preorder more album copies if you're in the LPU already. That's mainly for non LPU members. LPU GETS FIRST ACCESS. 2. LPU M&Gs will occur on the tour as usual!' So looks like if you are LPU, you don't have to do anything special but sign up.
  10. Depending on how many people in your city sign up you might not even have to jump in line to make the cut. They aren't making you jump through hoops if you don't want to. all you have to do is sign up and hope for the best. You don't have to do any of the extra stuff if you don't want to.
  11. Yeah, I see that now. Thanks! I still have faith they will come to Seattle though! Portland and Vancouver, BC are close but usually they play Seattle if it's a Fall tour. I'm guessing they end up playing Portland, Seattle, and Vancouver. If it was a weekend I could drive to Portland though. Vancouver is out of the question.
  12. That seems like way too many dates but I'm happy if they come to Seattle! I see the band didn't actually announce anything on social media so maybe the Blink rumor is still true especially if they just come close to those areas and not actually all those cities. The 1975 did pre-sale this way and I thought it worked great.
  13. Blink-182 also has their "new" album coming out May 19th so you could say the same for both parties.
  14. Blink-182s current tour which is in B-cities ends May 9th I wonder if that affects announcement at all? I'm now guessing next week it will be announced but it could be announced the week after that.
  15. Came here to say that Blink-182 is playing Life is Beautiful fest September 22nd. But someone already beat me xD Could be an off day or could be after the LP tour. LP tour could just be lats August- early September.
  16. Hmmm, thank you for the response! I am buying Kendrick Lamar tickets on Friday which is why I'm wondering. Need to make sure they aren't on the same day. Kendrick's show is August 1st so I expect I'm good was just curious. Also just anxious to see if this tour comes to Seattle! My friend really wants to see Linkin Park so I'm banking on them coming close by
  17. Are dates being announced this week or that same week?
  18. Wll think to past tours. I do not remember a 30STM rumor or an Incubus rumor circulating around before it was announced. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I'm actually surprised we got a rumor this time around. Also, Derek usually doesn't post information unless he knows it to be true, so I think whoever he has been in contact with has reliable sources.
  19. Yeah, I saw that post too. The caption said they were excited to meet new faces. So I expect it to come early next week
  20. I agree with you on this. I guess I should have clarified in my post. Of course someone still has to close the show and that will LP no doubt but I wouldn't expect Blink to be an "opening act" for Blink in the sense of a traditional opening act. I would expect them to co-headline and they are. Honestly I feel this should have been a tour when Blink-182 announced it's reunion. ATS era co-headliner with Blink-182 and Linkin Park would have been amazing.
  21. Studio? SureLive? He sucks pretty bad Tom, Matt, and Mark. All three of them can't sing well live. A) Matt sucks worse live than Tom. I've seen them live with Matt. Not only can he not sing live like Tom could not, he can't play the guitar very well live which is something that Tom was actually a master at. Matt Skiba doesn't even know how to play Carousel correctly. Blink-182 is currently on a tour with the Naked and Famous in B cities. That plus the fact it will be Linkin Park's first tour for their new album means it's a good chance they would hit A cities. And to other posts above, Blink-182 and Linkin Park sell out/play the same type of venues. They both play arenas. To think that they wouldn't co-healine is crazy. Neither band would agree to open for one another.
  22. When Blink-182 and My Chemical Romance did a co-headlining tour, Indie Electronic Duo "Matt and Kim" was the opener on majority of the dates and all dates had an opening act. I'm guessing the same will be here, that they have an opening act. As far as this tour, I will be there if they come to Seattle. Blink-182 is my favorite band. Tom DeLonge is my favorite musician of all time. The Blink-182/My Chemical Romance tour in 2011 came to Seattle and I missed it. I'm so mad because I have never seen MCR and will never get to see them again. I also had never seen Blink-182 and this was a time when Tom DeLonge was still in the band. I told myself I would NEVER see Blink-182 in concert with Matt Skiba. Normally, I'm okay with new singers but Blink-182 is not Blink-182 without Tom DeLonge in my opinion. I also told myself I would not listen to any future releases they release. I have not listened to California nor do I ever plan to. I will also not listen to the deluxe version which is essentially a whole new album. However, I did end up going to see the band. Last year, Blink-182 went on a tour with A Day to Remember and The All-American Rejects. That is a stacked lineup if I have ever seen one. Both of those bands I love a lot and had never seen either band before so I immediately decided to go. Now, I have seen both Linkin Park and Blink-182 one time each. However, I have a friend who only goes to concerts if I go with him. He really wants to see Linkin Park live and I already told him about this lineup and we have already decided we are going together. He has never seen Linkin Park live so this gives him a chance. Back when ATS was released, I was going through a huge Linkin Park faze even though they were already in my top 10 acts of all time. I decided to look into the tour history of them coming to Seattle and found out that U.S. tours that were during the summer and fall, they would stop in Seattle. U.S. tours that were winter tours, they would always ignore Seattle. My suspicion is this tour will happen in August/September so I have a good feeling about them coming to Seattle. Even though Blink-182 isn't the same to me, it will be still cool to see two of my top 10 acts of all time again, together on the same stage on the same night. Here's to hoping they have a band I like opening for them as both times I saw them separately they were 4/4 on bands I like as openers. Note: I did not proof read that, so sorry if there are any mistakes.
  23. Is that where the CDS originally came out? We should contact the record stores in the area where they orginally released
  24. Twitter show it in order of last followed as well and they followed him on Twitter. I wonder if it has to do with the album because I would LOVE a Chance feature But I have doubts that is the case If I know anything from sports trades and such though is that something is probably going down between the two. Did Chance follow LP back?
