    MIDI from DBS?

scarily poetic for an internet forum ;P I think this is a request at the moment
  2. all i'm saying is, they were hosting DSPs on their site. and the page for their site now just has the words "account suspended". "suspended" implies more than just server problems - plus I don't use twitter at all I think it's a total waste of time...
  3. and you're getting your figures from...?
  4. hahah true...
  5. *bump* i'd love to see this vid - it looks great
  6. in LP's history, 2 fans have got onstage to find themselves being tackled by security - the first time at Sunrise, FL in 2004, and the next time in Holmdel, NJ in 2007
  7. got a couple of little show notes Mason Jar, phoenix, AZ '00 - Mike promoted an early LPU-style "Bags of Fun", for - as Chester calls them - "The 3 craziest fuckers in the house" on In The End The Fillmore, San Fransico, CA '00 - The band brought up 2 fans to rap the "foreit the game" lines in Points Of Authority - is this the 1st time anyone's been brought up to rap? Float-Rite Park, Somerset, WI '04 - Mike dares Chester to kiss a dirty shoe thown onstage... EDIT: so as not to double post... http://lplive.net/shows/20110125.php the text for this page is shown in black for another source besides the DSP, yet the page lists nothing. it should have this i assume... Equipment: Sony TCD-D8 (Line In, 16/44.1) + Sony ECM-717 Location: 50 Ft. from left stack (see artwork picture for ref.) Taped and transferred by: RyanJ (ryanj@reflectinginthechrome dot com) Transfer: Tascam DA-20 > Optical In > M-Audio CO2 > Optical Out > Digi In > Macbook Pro > Adobe Soundbooth > WAV (normailze to 0 db, fade in/out end of show) > FLAC Taper's Notes: "Unfortunately this tape is incomplete. I was late getting to JLA and I literally ran 3/4 of a mile with my DAT recorder in my pants to get to JLA. As I was getting in The Requiem was playing. But unfortunately I set off the metal detector (I forgot to empty my pockets), then again and again. I thought for sure I was not going to be able to even see the show. But they let me in. So I immediately went in and went down the first aisle I could… Unfortunately for me, no floor access! So I jumped the boards and an usher grabbed me. I told him I was on the floor (showed him my ticket) and he made me wait for a band and get my ticket hole-punched… I finally was let in but "The New Divide " was basically over. I got the last 5 seconds of the song. This was my 14th LP show and this was up there with the 2004 shows I saw. Chester's voice sounds better than ever and it is pretty amazing to see what LP has become all the way from the start. This is the Epic B11 setlist. The mid-set is very slow, but holy hell does the encore own your face! Blackout is just straight NASTY!!!! I was very hesitant with the ATS songs in the set, but I really enjoyed them. Overall, besides being incomplete its average. I mean I just started rolling once I got on the floor, so I am happy how this turned out. I will upload a FLAC version soon. But I thought LPL would like this to share out. Enjoy!"
  8. yeah but the "we are not expected to return" could imply something else went wrong :/
  9. I don't know when, but I certainly know why. LPAmerican (confusingly referred to as LPA) has been suspended - and I suspect this is since the site was hosting DSP audio shows for free download. proof that no site is safe - stay sensible LPLers
  10. It looks like its going to be in Black and White... also, what if you don't live in the US and don't have a "Best Buy" in your country...? EDIT: ok, I didn't read this properly I thought it meant they were releaseing another live DVD...
  11. well since Shadow of the Day is pretty much gone.... Bleed It Out trolololololol
  12. also, I'm not even an LPU member so... :/
  13. meh! i'm not that fussed... haven't got the disposable income, and I only like signed stuff if it's done front of me.
  14. watching the New Divide vid - EPIC fail on the bridge hahah, and also, I love the way the entire audience is motionless holding cameras
  15. if this is the track on the "Ozzfest 2001: The 2nd Millenium" CD, then this is from Alpine Valley Music Theatre, East Troy, WI 09.06.01 EDIT: http://lplive.net/shows/20010609.php the CD back says the recordings were from either Alpine Valley or from another show that LPL doesn't list LP as having played. I'm not at home and don't have the actual CD with me so I can't give you any more info at the moment, will update this when I'm next home
  16. ahh right cool, I had been looking for the leaked version of the album inthe off chance that it was a real early leak and that any of the songs were different (I wasn't into LP in '07, this was last year, so don't kill me for downloading leaks ) I did get one which was just Grey Daze tracks under different names, but if it's either fake tracks or just the actual album then I'm not fussed thanks for your help guys
  17. when MTM was leaked, were the tracks at all different to the final release, or were they just the same tracks under different titles? if it was a couple of weeks before the final album release then fair play...
  18. True - it depends on what makes a crowd special - the Transformers 3 "Wisdom, Justice Love" signs were amazing, but then there's that show where the crowd broke the floor of the club... depends on what you consider the term "greatness" means... EDIT: god i sound like Stevens... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Remains_of_the_Day
  19. I honestly wouldn't mind a 3D broadcast of an LP concert, in the same way that they broadcasted the Big 4 concert from Bulgaria - in cinemas nationwide only problem with this is the fact that you only get things showing for one night, or in about three cinemas nationwide... - very annoying It's something i think LP may do someday, but I wouldn't want to pay through the nose to go see it...
  20. We Made It ...again
  21. +1 oh, and New Divide has to win this...
  22. actually yeah - if CC was on Pro-Rev '08 and preceeding Aussia dates, then there is a similarity in the (likely) LP selected acts for Pro-Revs and stuff but maybe he was chosen by management for those aussie dates, and then LP wanted him back out on tour when they had the oppurtunity to pick supports? either way I'm not hugely fussed - it won't destroy my world view...
