yeah i'll be interested to see how they arrange things in a stripped-back acoustic format

it's difficult to know when you're being serious my man a proud day! hahaha that's a prety good one tbh, but think about how many shows don't get that from LP - it's just "hands up", "yeah" or "thank you!". sure, the lighter/phone thing is cool, but that's something that's more visually impressive to the band than anyone in the crowd (unless you're seated of course!) they do interesting things SOMETIMES and it's really rare to find a show after 2006 with anything that is unusual or unique to one particular show. I'm not hating on the band's style because every band should be unique, but I just get the feeling that LP has changed their attitude since the '01-'04 era :/

yeah at Sonisphere UK they just seemed real tired, and I was sort of disappointed by it - my friend and i had psyched ourselves up loads watching RTR and stuff (probably not the best plan!) but yeah, I had an awesome time since it was my first time seeing them and it was my first proper gig and all, but I've seen bands since that have really made me realise just how little was actually memorable and special about thei Sonisphere performance. hahaha yeah Green Day is considered one of the best live bands ever - not the best precursor to LP

true... but a live gig is about seeing the band and getting something more than just the music setlist syndrome shouldn't be a factor in a band's live show

I don't know about everyone else, but I always get the feeling the band just want to rush and play a ton of songs without really connecting with the audience. sure it's all about the music, but it's nice when you go see a band and feel like you're both sharing in something rather than just watching some people play songs you could listen to on a CD. for example... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PyCoMVkJcvs thoughts? edit: tons of edits - no idea how to embed videos...

a message from ryan on Facebook- in response to Jay Gordon: Orgy - the actual BAND Orgy - is NOT "ok" with this "new" Orgy "thing". We think its ridiculous. Seems like an Axel Rose move to us, and we dont want to be associated with it at all. We have told Jay for 5 years that we would be happy to do the REAL Orgy - with ALL the original members, and all the original unique gear that makes Orgy such an amazing live act. NO - we are not "too busy" to do Orgy, in fact, for the 20th time at least, our agent approached us to possibly do Orgy BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR, and Amir and I said "YES", if its the REAL ORGY. Not a hybrid, no impersonators - JAY, PAIGE, BOBBY, RYAN, and AMIR. The real band. We have too much respect for what we all created TOGETHER to stand by and watch it turn into a COVER band that goes out and fools our fans into buying tickets thinking they are going to see the REAL band Orgy. Orgy is a BAND. Thats why its COOL. It isn't a PERSON. I will have a lot more to say this week, on every outlet available to me. In the meantime, we are somehow going to fit a Dead By Sunrise show into our "busy" schedules.... somehow Chester Bennington, a truly big rock star, easily works in Linkin Park and Dead By Sunrise - weaving in between JK and all the other stuff we do... its not an "either/or" situation.. we can do EVERYTHING - IF Jay actually wanted too. Somehow.. we went around the world 4 times in the last year and a half.. and still had MONTHS and MONTHS off. Weird. If the REAL Orgy wanted to tour, we could have scheduled it. Im sick of repeating myself. Ryan seems things aren't great :/

good point actually, without sitting through all the songs he sings on and endlessly playing piano notes I'm not sure if there's any other way to find out... google has failed me! he seems much more limited than Chester - considering how he said it's a struggle to sing No Roads Left live... I'd say he's a tenor (since he's definitely not a bass!) but I really don't know
