  3. shaping up to be a pretty busy summer. just hoping for a uk date or two
  4. that picture isn't loading for me - but yeah, I'll keep an eye out for the film...
  5. never thought I'd see woco stop collecting. sucks
  6. should be good - be interesting to see how the more guitar-based elements of this work in remix terms I hope it's not done lazily thouhg - a CD of just techno with bits of a song I happen to recognise is not cool - but then again DTD was good, so we shall see...
  7. on the front cover near the bottom - "+ what's next for Linkin Park?" doubt this'll be anything major though - usual "we're working on it, we're playing some european festivals" stuff
  8. I doubt LP will play any festivals in the uk this summer, if at all. and Reading/Leeds isn't their scene, plus there are some strong rumours for headliners already. wouldn't mind green day myself, I don't go to reading/Leeds all that often so it doesn't phase me I actually think Sonisphere looks pretty interesting this year - nice mix. just awaiting more bands to be announced. but i do agree - having missed them on the november '10 date, they need to come to the uk
  9. I guess the band can't just announce stuff if the festival organisers want to announce bands in big groupds by themselves like sonisphere, download reading/leeds do. at least LP gets to announce their own tour dates LP aren't going to do a Foo Fighters and just wreck the festival organiser's hype...
  10. it would be lush, but I think these festival setlists will be very much like they were for '09 - just the previous album and the usual singles. sure we had New Divide that year but that was something already released prior to the dates. there's only been one occasion where the band premiered a song live without it being on record (the infamous QWERTY ), and I doubt that we'll get something like that in this tour cycle. wasn't QWERTY never intended to be released anyway? didn't they record it after the reception from fans? if that's correct then the band has never actually premiered a song from a new record in their entire history. I guess we could still get our hopes up for Robot Boy though...
  11. +1 there was a hell of a lot of promo for ATS that simply hasn't appeared for #5 yet I highly doubt an album in May - first single? maybe - album? no
  12. woah these sound cool, where can I find them? or is that something I'm not allowed to request...? :/
  13. liking the avatar pic haha. go check out the blackout thread in "main street" :)

  14. wow, I've been missing from here for a long time :/ looks like a cool line-up, unfortunately - trapped upon the isle of britannia...
  15. the band seems to really like being in Germany, they might just hang for a few days before travelling
  16. if only more people thought the same way...
  17. sounds like a right ****... spread his name around - warn people
  18. ...
  19. I'm sort of confused about the "Monga version" of Let Down I've just watched it, but can anyone tell me which film were the clips taken from (I'm assuming it's a film...) and why was this version made...? I'm not sure what the song has to do with a ninja academy...
  20. so in answer to my question, yes... it surprises me tha JK don't have this in alot of stores etc. - talk about poor distribution will buy it when I have the money, can't really afford to be buying direct from band merch sites right now - sure the CDs are reasonable, but shipping's always through the roof.
  21. can you only buy the physical album from their website?
  22. hmm i'm not sure, I do think Shannon's drumming appears more skillful - he has a tendency to play the snare at points that would seem out of step, or unexpected, and I do prefer his drumming style and tehnique. but then again they are both playing different styles of music, Rob's drums (particularly in early LP stuff) was designed tp not be too flashy - just a steady hip-hop beat. got to hand it to him that later stuff like Little Things is quite a difficult rhthym to pin down and the faint intro is pretty cool. Rob's definitely a good drummer from the Bleed It Out Solos (it's not easy to make those up...) but like brad's guitar he's not trying to be flashy and it's not easy to tell if he's ann epic drummer or not like I say, different styles of music.
  23. really? the faint outro is terrible! not sure the W&K into Papercut works either... on the more positive side, i like the transition (technically both an outro and an intro - see what i did there? ) between Figure 0.9 and From the inside in 2004. that and the 2004 numb intro.
  24. what he said...
