i highly doubt it. the set's already pretty long at an hour and a half. I actually find myself getting bored of bands who are on for more than an hour - "yeah great thanks, hurry up I'm tired now..." oh and don't quote "Green Day" here people - they're a whole different kettle of fish... @Ginger - haha true, bitching at the band on a forum is pretty useless

I'm sure they'll play the single, if these festival shows are almost the 'build up' to the Living Things release later this year, it seems likely that most TV/Radio/anything promo is going to be of the new single. I also doubt they'll play "live", if other bands who seem unlikely to play in this semi-mime way have played like that (Muse) then I doubt the station'd make concessions for LP. also, I don't think LP "forced" TOTP to have the song played without lip synch. at the time of LP's performances, most performances involved a backing track but the bands had to at least sing live. LP played in 01 and 03 right? at which point the show was kind of waning in popularity, around the sort of time that studio PA equipment was getting better at making songs sound as slick as they doid on record and bands at the time were therefore being given the choice as to how they wanted to perform. LP played live, but that's not because they forced the producers to do anything...

pretty likely it's the chorus - it name-checks the title in my estimation the song seems to be about the whole building up this HT/Meteora sound then disassembling it in MTM/ATS [/2cents]

i'm liking chester voice on this - it's only on laptop speakers so I can't really hear much of the rest of the song's depth - but the lyrics feel a bit ...lazy if i'm honest. but then again, this is just a tiny piece opf a full song so I'll reserve my final judgement until the 16th

it does sound like 'common' on record. but then again if i don't know the words i tend to just make a vaguely similar noise along to the recording. don't think I've ever looked up lyrics because I desperately wanted to know what they were. except for "Black Dragon Fighting Society" - try and decipher that on your own!

true that, but since we've been teased with it I don't think it'll be the final title. not knowing the title has been a rather interesting thing for this promo, is this the first time LP's been promo-ing an single for an album which has been as-yet untitled...? it's quite a nice way to flip things up a bit IMO

ok so maybe they did have other touring plans, but I think my point still remains, both are too big to have one headline over the other. 2007 - MCR were flavour of the month, and the Black Parade tour was fucking MASSIVE. would have been a poor choice by Muse's management to pass up on that much exposure, it's understandable that they were supporting. I think the only reason MCR supported on PR07 was because it was Linkin Park organising the tour, you can't really turn up and be like "oh, i thought we were headlining..." Plus having just finished the Black Parade Tour (taking into consideration all the stories of tour fatigue) MCR would probably have wanted to go back to a slightly less intense cycle where they weren't the main focus of attention. the band seem to have enjoyed PR07 for precisely this reason - way more relaxed.
