  1. haha you had more persistance than I did, was going to make one, but the changes in tempo in the W&K rap got annoying, gave up after about 20 mins trying to make one. props. DLing now
  2. it's not tiny, mid-sized sort of thing methinks equivalent to some of the O2 academies in the UK maybe?
  3. i meant news as in dates/venues etc. I know the vague proposal
  4. yeah, it'll be like the festivals from '09, the transition from LT to ATS seems to be a similar position to the MTM to (New Divide) album break. i doubt we'll se rotating sets while LT isn't out. +1 i can't see any of the longer interludes being kept, maybe if they have Fallout/Catalyst or Empty Spaces/WTCFM as a build to the beginning of the encore. but I can't imagine anything more than that. If Points comes back (unsure if it will, but hear me out) wouldn't it be awesome if they put a verse from W&K over the intro/outro? it'd be a pretty big jump in the tempo of the words, but i reckon that'd sound epic! "no-one make a move 'less my people say so, got everything outta control now everybody go- FORFEIT THE GAME, BEFORE SOMEBODY [...]"
  5. I'm sure you're not the only one who's going to have a good time for that same reason. just please don't bitch about the setlist you can at least go to this show, we've still no news on any UK dates yet
  6. gotcha, didn't know that the '03 LPU tour was for non-members too. reposting whole message for its positivity. it'll be an ace show regardless of what they do and don't play. big band in tiny venue and the same price as HCT, i'd far rather pay to see that than another arena show
  7. you see my point though, Rob's clearly never going to play guitar live since they sort of need him for drums and t'ing, but has no random picks made, yet joe does? odd...
  8. LPL Y U NEVER HAPPY WITH BEING ABLE TO GO TO SHOW!? STOP SETLIST TRADING AND GO ENJOY SHOW you never know, you may get a few previews of new songs like the last LPU tour, (but the band may not want poor quality recordings of songs surfacing before the album does - didn't they try to heavily restrict electronic equipment for kesselhaus...? even if some stuff did surface ) I won't hold my breath for rre songs like robot boy etc, because LP have always been a mainstream chart-bothering band, their shows aren't suddenly going to go all smashing pumkins and have chester suddenly turn round and say "we're not going to play any well known songs, here's 'No Laundry'!" either way, you're seeing an internationally famous band in a small venue - still pretty damned cool! and all this "discounts for LPU members?" is silly - it's an LPU tour, isn't it only LPU members going!?
  9. plus New Divide was not an album song
  10. ahhh cheers man
  11. is '03 the last time they did this? or does Mayan Theatre count? shit yeah, MFR =/= LPU
  12. HOB? sweet venues, lucky US fans!
  13. i figured this wasn't something appropriate to ask on the plectrum submissions thread. sorry for that off topic post AndOne :/ but yeah, does anyone know why Joe had guitar picks made for him on the MTM tour? I'm sure he didn't play guitar on the tour (or any prior tour) ever, so why have them made up?
  14. germany is so ON this year haha. no surprise though - germany's a firm favourite for le band props to the person who has tickets to each and every German gig. any takers?
  15. true dat, releasing on youtube is free, pressing, packing and promoing an ++ bundle isn't
  16. Qwerty95k has it covered audio rip anyone?
  17. BID already has quite alot of "personal stuff" back in there. Mike's rap could be about politicans/world leaders etc, but I dunno, it sounds more personal to me. plus they've done a few interveiws saying that the personal themes are back. I do agree that MTM is their most important album though, I've certainly said it before, but MTM was the stepping stone from HT/Meteora into ATS. even if alot of the fans disliked either album, ATS couldn't have existed without MTM, and everything else the band produces from this point on will be influenced by the creative descisions made in the '06-'11 period.
  18. sounds cool. may get involved...
  19. yeah like i say, it's easy to warp perceptions just through some simple editing, ATS kind of needed to look stressful (?) LT's definitly going to look easier in comparison. but like you've said, this is a tiny snippet of a whole process, we'll see "LP, Y U NO USE REAL DRUMS!?" put to bed
  20. I'll be the first person to say it: COLOUR there, it's been said, we can all now move the f--- on... EDIT: the process this time around does feel much more relaxed, it could be that these videos have just been edited differently to capture different things, but since the band's been so confident on their next step this time around, I think it's possible that this has been a much more relaxed period. you're always going to be more stressed when you're about to release an album that's relatively off the wall from your band's usual output, but now that that's happened, it would certainly boost your confidence to have had ATS not totally fall on its face. it's natural for the band to seem confident at this stage methinks
  21. what he said 2009 just sayin'
  22. am I the only one who is perplexed by the fact that Joe had his own picks on the MTM tour...?
  23. could this not be due to bad microphones? or chester not having sucha rehearsed, rounded voice? but this is an interesting perspective. I listened to Meteora today, and I've never really noticed the "emotionless" quality that people have said they see in this era of Mike's rapping, but today i really felt that on nobody's listening.
  24. it's Charlotte, NC
