  1. ha! we just got a shout-out
  2. have got this on in my living room. was tempted to make a "living (things) room" joke, but i refrained until now... 4 mins
  3. for those who want to know, Zane Lowe's show is on BBC radio 1, 7-9pm GMT. http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/zanelowe/ and LPA's sourcing Zane as saying it'll be around 7.30pm the bbc site allows web streaming of the radio broadcast too, (in the black "on Air" bar at the top of the site) so you can listen live even if you can't pick up the radio frequency where you are - at least, I know that uk fans can, this may vary for other countries... EDIT: and I know this may be jumping the gun a bit, but... the scavenger hunt ending in the uk rumours of uk dates to come promises of "a surprise or two" UK dates?
  4. I love the fact that they're working a manic schedule to get all this stuff out for release so quick. I'm sure it's hell for them, but I know I certainly appreciate it also, I knew that that sped-up playback thing was how they acheived the slow-motion (yet in-time) effect in the videos, but that speed is genuinely nuts!
  5. i dunno, freak on a leash has always made me think of Chester's sort of "uurrrgh" voice in And One... but then again, that was a while ago now, that tone in his voice is long gone
  6. Alibi - 30STM (Mike on verses, Chester on chorus) Bother - Stone Sour Broken Hands - Hundred Reasons We Are Godzilla, You Are Japan - Lostprophets (becuase they could kill on this song) and for the sheer brilliance, I would love to see them cover Nobody - Skindred
  7. 9pm for uk fans isn't too shabby BUT i have just checked my calendar to find that that evening, I will be offensively dressed and playing drinking games to Eurovision at someone else's house... great.
  8. nice find man, thanks! always nice to see audience shots as well as the pro-stuff
  9. I too am noticing the ^^ of LP in advertising. but don't they do this alot around new album time...? possibility ("conclusion-jumping"?) of a Monaco show at the F1, similar to Abu Dhabi, would be pretty cool though
  10. I think i seriously need to re-download all the demo tapes. I'm sure I deleted some of the files out of not noticing tiny little differences in some of the songs. "oh yeah, I've already got that demo" brb!
  11. yeah I knew Brad was the only one not on the In Ear mix, thought it was a little odd that it was being referenced on wikipedia (and surprisingly specific!) I just edited the page to take out the reference to IEMs. no worries man, it's not interrupting! most of the full audio shows are released "officially" from http://downloads.linkinpark.com/ you do have to pay for them, and we don't post links to them here for that reason. any links to audio on this site are recordings from audience members. full videos are either from TV broadcasts/Web streaming/etc. or again, footage that audience members have taped
  12. "fishy" legit...? if it is, it's nice to finally have a solid date for the video release PS. great to see you back buddy
  13. no wonder no-one's heard of him then
  14. that could just be the set-up specific to the awards ceremony, maybe other bands used it too. we'll see in a few months
  15. yeah they modelled the billboard stage on the one used for the video
  16. if it stops moving pretty quick it's still likely to be a Roland V-cymbal. I have them on my kit and you can set them up to be pretty much motionless, they get quite annoying if they're loose to be honest If I remember correctly he got one of these following seeing Rob Swire (Pendulum) using one as a "guitar" while they supported them on the US leg of the ATS tou. it's pretty much a MIDI set-up that feels like a guitar - easier for people who want to trigger effects but find guitar scales easier
  17. yeah I'm in the 1st chorus, he sounds a bit rough right now. 2nd verse picks up though nice stage set too. looking forward to seeing how the LT tour pans out thanks Sharwood for putting that good quality link up side notes: Chester's stretched his lobes further I love his dad dancing haha
  18. I'm thinking of doing a visual timeline of all this stuff now... NEED TO GO TO BED THOUGH!!
  19. if it's Rob and trigger cymbal (you said it moved like on, so i'm guessing it's not just a pad) it's likely a Roland CY-12C (if Crash) or CY-13R (if Ride) since he's got a sponsorship with them. if it's to the left of his high-hat I'd say it's a 12C since that's how most drummers have their kit, but I'm just guessing, I don't know Rob's set-up or even if that's how he has his own particular rig configured.
  20. ATS, even if the Reanimation guests were possible. you should have made this a poll
  21. wow I had my facts straight for once!
