if anyone's interested, Crawling was first played in Seattle's Showbox Theatre actually had quite a number of song debuts in this show... actually, just realised that the show page is wrong, And One's debut was definitely not at this show if it was played in Orlando '00

agree that it's had its day. the song, purely by its time signature and how the guitar part is constructed, is a song that has always felt like it drags too much. I'm not sad to see it go, but won't it be funny if it becomes one of those songs like With You, that would never have been dropped from the HT-era setlists, yet has since become something we all want to see live again in a few years time?

he knows album sales are crap, everyone knows this, Mike won't care if the album doesn't sell too well (ATS didn't).I think everyone's too quick to accuse the band of being money-grabbing in terms of album sales. do you not think the band gets more money off tours like every other band...? I'm sure Mike's not that much of a heartless ninja... I don't see why people are getting upset at Mike trying to encourage leak-listeners to at least make a social event out of it. chill the hell down people!

I don't view a leak as a bad thing, i just don't think it feels as special or personal. that's my only reason to not download leaks. it'll be damned tempting when it gets out , but it'll pay off when i get to have my little moment with the album

ahhh gotcha - intro to verses and choruses etc. thought there was something drastically missing from the recordings. I guess he didn't scratch that at the shows. it would have been mixed properly for the DSPs no doubt.

I do remember ATS, I knew about the leak, and I abstained not for any weird moral reasons, normally I'd be on that shit. but I like stuff to feel special if it's something I've been looking forward to. haven't even pre-ordered the album. might make a day of it and walk into town to get it - there's no special edition I'd want to pre-order more, so why not

going to do what I did when I got my (physical) copy of ATS listen on my dad's big speakers downstairs, booklet in hand taking in the lyrics and album art as I go and I will be ignoring leaks and leakers (on a personal listening level) ...
