  1. "hits"? gotcha, singles, not the hits at the end of POA
  2. still can't get over the goofy movie title...
  3. search the other HT/M threads, there are alot of people posting in those with rips to the later installments it does have its own thread here
  4. have not kept up with getting physical copies of singles on LT. broke these days bump for update: Kerrang! Magazine - #1421 - 30.06.12 - bought ages ago Burn It Down EP - thank you Pioneer0
  5. pretty cool that they're getting vocals from other band members too. i always think it add more depth to use members for back-up rather than endless takes of the same voice like chester did on DBS
  6. nahh mate, making a nice deal of going down to the record store and (literally) getting my hands on it. I want to be called a slowpoke when I make my "ipubenrvipbqerbpi" post haha deal
  7. currently still sitting here with my fingers in my ears
  8. ha! well I'm off out tonight. I even turned off my speakers to check this thread was listening only - PURE dedication you wait - I'll be "IAUBSDVIPBRVIBRIVBEYBEYBVPIABRVNER[iVUEAG" all over this place once I get my hands on a copy I paid for
  9. I'm still plugging my ears
  10. that guard sounds like an ass...
  11. was abaout to make this point for all the people who were saying greatest Hits are pointless. alhtough even now (digital music) i tend to Download a Greatest Hits album if I don't know where to start with an older band that I've just discovered for myself. I still think they're relevant. although on the "lost in translation" note, I think its highly unlikely that LP will release a Greatest Hits this year...
  12. I thought you said your spotify wasn't working and couldn't listen to it?
  13. these are the lyrics from the official lyric video, therefore I'm sure they're correct. why would the band try to deliberately mislead people?
  14. oh god yeah, for some reason I always forget about Chorzow... no idea why, one of the first few shows I got a hold of, and i still forget about it nice to see them nearer to home though yeah?
  15. flashmobs should be special. the WJL one was cool, but doing them like, 3 times a show with bad jokes from ages ago is a bit... meh
  16. at least Serg all you have to worry about is picking yourself a decent spot. is this your first time seeing them? was front row for mine, could not have asked for better "have fun" to all those going well at least if it's an autumn tour it'll be during term-time for me fingers crossed for an actual Nottingham date, the Manchester/Birmingham combo is so frustrating...
  17. I haven't paid that much attention to it, had no idea there were two voices, so yes, I am therefore deaf. but it was obvious that Chester was doing his usual thing of backing up a few lines here and there. and I agree that that last chorus needs to kick the listener's minds in the balls (to coin a phrase from the man himself...) there's some proper nasty-ass growling going on in the studio mix that's missing from the live show
  18. at the big zero for No More Sorrow
  19. I got your point perfectly, I guessed you meant more agression. but yes, the term "scream" probably confused me a little i don't think Chester could have managed a scream that long back in the day. we were mentioning his voice from this era overral, Crawling is a small part of that.
  20. youtube links for proof, both of you...
  21. I personally think Figure.09 is overrated I would only see it come back if it had that "blood, anger, suffering" intro/outro to From The Inside... I said Robot Boy, only because it's never been played live and I'd be interested to see how they'd pull it off, especially since members of an online forum who are not in any real way affiliated with the band, proclaim it's that difficult to do... c'mon LP - shove that in our pipes and make us smoke it!
  22. HT - By Myself M- Somewhere I Belong MTM - Leave Out All The Rest ATS - Wisdom Justice and Love/When They Come For Me (tied) LT - Castle Of Glass/Lost In The Echo (tied)
  23. had no idea this was being played at the Monsters of Rock venue. man, I've watched those videos of Pantera playing there when they were an itty bitty band and Phil wasn't the methadone mess he shortly became... back in the day eh? this has got a nice panning shot of the whole crowd for Pantera, who were JUST THE FIRST BAND ON... enjoy, russian fans! 24. i think it's incorrect to say his voice was "stronger" back in '00-'01, it was much rougher round the edges, which of course is good for agressive songs, but in terms of actual singing, the result of 12+ years of live shows he has gained a voice that would be considered better in terms of actual singing ability, it happens to a lot of big touring bands that he singer's voice changes drastically since their breath control , sustain etc, just improves all the time.also, if people say that the rougher, "older" sound is better, take your case up with that 17-sec scream of Given Up... a scream can't carry a tune though... a scream is more a noise than a voice
