  1. yeah I think I've mixed up alot of tracks from shows that are labelled "Live at BBC Radio1" since there were two shows... that's something I really need to go and fix in my iTunes files (sigh)
  2. kinda sneaky but it works - if you act casual with a laminate or a pass you can pretty much do anything you like. "I do this all the time guys, jeez"
  3. just, wow... I see the point of a lot of the thing like the F1 GP app, Recharge etc since they're accesible to alot of people for a relatively low cost. but you'd need to be seriously dedicated to LP/seriously rich/seriously stupid with money to get this. the cost really outweighs this, and most people who are going to be using this for a music producing purpose, probably would have got a similar system/programme already, the LPification won't be what pulls these people towards buying. I could understand an Mike endorsing them as a product, but I see no reason for the raft of exclusives on this product.
  4. yeah, UK releases have the writing on the other side. and yes! I'm not the only person who thinks this about the album art! I like the front cover, but was expecting more of the same cool stuff in the booklet, but I was really not that impressed by it. I remember Mike saying somewhere that the art for this album would be really innovative and interesting, but I don't feel LT has lived (no pun intended) up to the standard I expected. ATS was the most satisfying overall entire package in my opinion - special editions, amazing artwork etc. I dunno, maybe I'm disappointed with that aspect because I expected too much from such a rapid release...
  5. true, very true. posting for people who would want all that info in one thread
  6. Vavouras, you're not far off... (dell.com/openlabs) http://www.dell.com/content/topics/segtopi...eep&~ck=mn: top of the range = $1,572.99 O_o
  7. I know I've still got a ton of things I was in the middle of seeding from lp-bits, so I'm sure we can get stuff going again like the last time it went offline.
  8. if there's a derelict house I'm pretty sure that there'll be some DRAMATIC slow-motion in there I'm glad it's not just a performance video this time though. If i want to watch the band play in a room I can watch a live DVD haha
  9. there\'s also a fair few Julien-K remixes missing from this list-
  10. if it's listed on the DSP stie, it is likely to come out, it's just taking a while - (talking about RaR/RiP)
  11. off topic: but i wonder how the scared little office guy works out the lyrics to a death metal album - "URURRRUUUUIIYRUURUR" back to topic: Jats, where is the booklet incorrect?
  12. and (i've heard) so is Rob
  13. you added my swearz damn you and of course no-one's questioning that, it's a great mentality, I just ain't a fan of UIB, and in places, I can't help feeling like the album is a little rough around the edges, particularly since it's followed something like ATS which seemed so damned thought out. I really need to post a review of dis album...

    Choose Shows

for me it'd be - UK Sonisphere 2009 - (my first show, front row and everything) I was going to say in audio, but HQ video would be awesome, there were pro cameras filming for the crowd screens, and I've often wondered if we'd ever see them surface like bits of my next choice... Smokeout '03 - it's just one of those legendary shows. the BTH debut and chester's reaction is something we've all seen on YT, but the whole thing'd be sweet to finally get to see/hear. then it would probably have to be one of those Xero or Hybrid Theory shows from the 90's. I love watching shows like Mason Jar, AZ '00 and just knowing how close to the brink of massive success they are at that point... either that of the BOW show Geki mentioned, it sounds pretty funny
  15. haha of course, it'd need to be a bit more "grown up" than some of the HT/M songs I'm sure they've done something similar for KROQ AAC. that and there's a picture of Phoenix playing a double bass somewhere... i would see a possible setlist of - 01. [intro - no idea, something new for the event] 02. Faint 03. I'll Be Gone 04. Burn It Down 05. Leave Out All The Rest 06. ?? 07. Castle Of Glass 08. Shadow Of The Day 09. Papercut 10. Given Up 11. From The Inside 12. With You 13. Numb [keys outro] 14. Breaking The Habit 15. Jornada/Waiting For The End 16. Iridescent 17. The Messenger ------------- 18. Crawling [KRAWLING intro] 19. In The End 20. Powerless 21. The Little Things Give You Away 22. Roads Untravelled 23. One Step Closer
  16. amen. the horn section makes Enter Sandman sound so damned evil - the OSC "shut up!" bridge could sound bad-ass with that kind of treatment
  17. if that title got you expecting something else, I do apologise... Metallica's S&M (for those who might not know) is a live album from '97 (it think) taken from two shows where the band performed a load of their classic and current work with a full orchestra providing an extra addition to the songs' instrumentation (the SanFran Symphony Orchestra conducted by Michael Kamen if we're going to get snippy on the details). I have had this idea for a few weeks since LT's release (yes, inspired by Castle Of Glass) and I wonder who else thinks this could be something damned cool? I'm not making some sort of "do this or we'll hate you" thread. but i'd be interested to hear what people would think of this. I'm sure the band would collaborate with arrangements, and I think this would work with a large amount of LP's songs - the obvious - Breaking The Habit Castle Of Glass In The End (the string parts have been amplified alot in this recent Euro Festivals run) the "ooh that'd sound amazing" - The Messenger Iridescent KRWLING? Faint Little Things... - enough said the "damn! that'd be interesting" - W&K The Catalyst Victimised what do we reckon? - setlist you'd like to see? how would you see the songs being arranged? a few CA shows, or a full tour?
  18. I do like the art in the lyric videos, but the art in the album booklet is somewhat disappointing. it seems completely different to what's in the lyric videos. it's personal taste yes, but I was expecting alot more of these cool distorted, flaking, bursting figures than a load of odd textures on CGI elephant head
  19. for me it's that each piece is cool on its own, but I dn't see how they fit together, even the two rap parts don't fit in the same song in my opinion (stress the last three words). Id love to see what they'd have done with all three (*ahem* four) parts if they'd been doing that ATS-style following ideas down the rabbit hole and into the electro-trippy wonderland mind-f___...
  20. "EMAIL MYSPACE!" "LIKE A BOSS" "HAVE A RANT" "LIKE A BOSS" (repeat to fade)
  21. I'm still struggling to like UIB as one complete piece.
  22. I don't think they'd list it on the DSP site if it wasn't going to be released so, yeah... I guess it'll come out eventually
  23. I don't see LGM as a big "crowd-y" song. I like the song, but it's not that easy to move to
  24. it's ranked within the "9.0" category of other songs we know are on the album so I'm sure it's a working title or one of the album tracks. anyone going to an M&G? ASK THEM!!
