Hit the Floor and forgotten don't work because while the choruses are quite big and crowd-y, the verses kill the vibe alot. they're both quite agressive songs but they also fall into your slower paced category in places. also, Fallout, Requiem, Radiance should be added to the list... I can't see these being resurrected. Burning In The Skies may be gone forever now too, which is a shame really...

I agree with CriSco92 I don't think either Berlin or HOB will become the "Living Things Live" DVD. there aren't enough Living Things songs performed at either of these shows and I think the band wouldn't want to piss people off like that. LT Live has to be a post-album release show. HCT?

I'm sure you'll get a refund if you've pre-ordered. it's been mixed (since Mark was talking about Ethan) so it's likely to surface somewhere else, similar to the Red Square show, or maybe as a live DVD for LT (although only 2 LT songs perhaps rules this idea out)... I'm sure it'll be released another way

I'd love to see Roads Untravelled, but I doubt that'll happen. BID, Lost In The Echo, In My Remains are dead certainties. Skin To Bone'd be cool too, but it may end up like BITS and be a cool song, but doesn't translate too well -

thanks man. it just struck me how different they all were, and I know Black Keys have done something similar quite recently (including the animators for South Park ). I'll go look it up on Mike's blog in a bit, cheers!

the big headphone-like things look more like ear defenders (similar to what Brad wears) if he's still got the cable going up for the regular In-Ear Monitor (IME) then I guess he wears the Ear defenders to isolate what he hears in his IEM, or perhaps he's decided to start wearing better ear-protection (10 years+ of touring and shows will ruin your hearing )

I've been having a look through the posters on PR'08, and it strikes me how different each individual date's poster was in terms of style etc. were they done by different artists/designers or...? can anyone give me some background on them?

I think most people cite it as not selling well relative to HT/M and that's probably true -
it's tops the vid ducko posted only shows the outro, but the gapless transition into FTI is what makes it doubley cool check out - Float-Rite Park Somerset, WI 28.08.04 and Shoreline Ampitheatre, Mountain View, CA 05.09.04. both are have pretty decent audio sources
