  1. "we"? it's in the "certificiations" column http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linkin_Park_d...y#Studio_albums
  2. probably been said before, but Docklands '01 showpage is going to need a particular source added
  3. I often think the same thing about Meteora on the basis of LPU demos
  4. LT was nothing compared to my copy of The Gaslight Anthem's "the '59 Sound" - it's a legit copy, but it genuinely looked like someone had put the cover in MS paint and printed it off on the glossy paper - SO pixelated
  5. yeah I know, I mean I made a mistake thinking it was Pale, the one being played in "making of" is a different song I forgot what Pale sounded like and made a false assumption
  6. reposting for truth. the DSP is a by-product, not the product
  7. yeah there's definitely more lines to it, Mike talks over the top though so it's hard to hear the actual words
  8. agh! sorry, i completely forgot that that wasn't Pale. this is song I meant - another one: during the working stages of "Fear" ("Leave Out All The Rest"), one of the lines that follows the "after my dreaming, I woke with this fear" melody, was sung by Mike as "the sun was still sinking, and after it'd gone...", which is an an alternate take to the version of "Fear" released on LPU9 source: 'MTM making of' at ~6m30s
  9. so all the US fans are boring except those who get tickets for Madison Sq. Gardens...? this makes no logical sense...
  10. on the "Making of Meteora" feature, Rob can be seen tracking Drums for the Demo "Pale", which was finally released 6 years later on the LPUX CD roughly around the 10min mark
  11. i'm taking the mention of the band as a "wildcard" as exactly that - a wildcard
  12. love the burp contribution to Billie Jean, whoever that was... nice to have a longer episode too
  13. award acceptance and performance. pretty low quality at the moment, I'm sure a better video'll surface not a very good performance IMO
  14. the LPA thread's got pretty far with the lyrics http://www.lpassociation.com/forums/showth...043#post1223043 also, I've been watching the MTM making of doc.
  15. man, I feel so "young" of course, yeah I forgot about Jen and Nick
  16. hands down, i think you're going to win this haha
  17. true, scat with no illustrative purpose toward a song we know would have been more annoying to listen to than just the instrumentals on their own
  18. LP was also my 1st concert. well, the first headline act I went to see, the crown of the first proper band I saw at sonisphere goes to Alien Ant Farm
  19. i have a MASSIVE excel sheet which lists the shows/sources I've got, which I update each time I get something new. It took about 2 years to make so yeah, I know how time-consuming it is...
  20. which year did you attend your 1st LP show? (Fort Minor and Dead By Sunrise don't count!) personally, Sonisphere UK, 2009
  21. this isn't relevant to the LPU discussion, put it in the Bruiser thread here
  22. the show broadcast starts in the US at 2000hrs (8pm) in EST, for you in Pakistan, the show broadcast will start at 0800hrs (8am) in PKT on the 19th! for anyone else who wants to calculate when the show will be happening in their local time, you can figure it out by googling your country's +1/2/3? hours value against GMT in terms of this broadcast, the numbers you need are - 2000hrs (8pm, 18th) EST = 0100hrs (1am, 19th) GMT
  23. to repeat what Astat said in the shoutbox, "Song Q" was the working title for Hands Held High. Debris is really different anyway, so I don't see how you arrived at this! and for those wondering why Asbestos is being repeatedly compared to Given Up - it's the drum pattern that's very similar, plus there's lots of clunking about on muted strings that's pretty synonymous with Given Up now. I agree it's a tenuous link, but its similarity to a stronger song like Given Up might explain why it was left unfinished (if the timimg of both tracks was similar, I may be making 2+2=5 here...)
  24. the video's in this thread - http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=9271 he left because the lifestyle he had on tour went against his new religious beliefs. it happens sometimes
