  1. That's where you get me wrong on all this. While two completely different side projects, Mike handled Fort Minor really well, having Us tours as well as touring to other countries, Tons of bonuses, Fort Minor Militia, and so on. I've never had any worry that Chester would leave Linkin Park, otherwise that tattoo on his back would be quite silly wouldn't it? Almost everything about the side project in my opinion hasn't really been handled to the best of it's overall ability, and while yes, I am complaining about it, I'm not gonna hold it against Chester. It's his own thing, it's his choice on wither or not doing the side project in the first place, and it gives the fans music to hold over until The new Linkin Park record holds on. The lack of promotion is definitely true though. I remember hearing Where'd you go on the radio at least 5 times within an hour on my then radio local station (v100) and I can honestly say I haven't heard any song by Dead by Sunrise once. It's a shame, and not Dead by Sunrise's fault at all. there's my two cents.
  2. It's ridiculous how much of a joke Dead by Sunrise is becoming. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed Out of Ashes even though I thought it wasn't anything special, but with the lack of advertisement, a site, lack of shows in the United States, and this desperate nonsense, Chester really should end this for the time being and try picking it up some other time. I was really excited about his side project ever since it was originally called Snow White Tan, but enough is enough.
  3. Agree with you 100% of the way on that.
  4. Your definitely entitled to your opinion "DrSeus", but I'll just invoke my right to disagree with it, Mike can sing (definitely not the best ever though, but I enjoy it), I personally think he has great rap flow, I think all of Linkin Park is very talented, and I enjoy listening to Linkin Park live, but of course, that's my own opinion. What makes me wonder is why your a member to a Linkin Park fan site if your constantly criticize everything about them with little to no praise.
  5. Easily I've got to say Fort Minor, when I first heard Where'd you go, It just resonated with me! Many others I liked including get me gone which was interesting, Kenji, Red to Black, Cigarettes, Feel like Home, and Remember the Name were my big favorites off the Rising Tide. To me, while I liked Out of Ashes, there wasn't anything that wow'ed me about it like The Rising Tide did.
  6. I'm liking how this is going, Hopefully this is out by Summer of this year, I just read one of Mike's post back in 2008 saying how the new album might be out in 2009 lol
  7. I'm sure you judge rappers by their lyrics, not how they're voice sounds like... but besides that, I like Jay-z's rapping and the way he sounds while rapping.
  8. Yeah, I think the place for my head remix would've been one of my favorite remixes on reanimation if the 2nd verse wasn't so awful, I usually just skip it whenever I'm listening to it, Other reanimation remixes that I don't really like is H1vltg3 and Enth E Nd, I just could never listen to both of them fully, especially Enth E Nd.
  9. Looks like I can't join till I have my LPU subscription damn a whole week of wait!
  10. Any quality rip of this?
  11. Translation: In the crossover platinum-selling Linkin Park so we have often felt that they would prefer to be at home in the future. Their affinity for science fiction themes is known not only for their "Transformers" soundtrack "New Divide". Even in her early videos, they always reappeared. Now, Linkin Park will go down in musical history as the first rock band to a new song exclusively released by iPhone game. So what does that one in video games, you already know - is now including the iPod Touch or iPhone for the decisive medium. And the times when we went to the record dealer of confidence to pick up a 7 Inch ordered, seems even further into the mists of time to dive. Volume rapper and songwriter Mike Shinoda is now placed on his blog about the song before the game. "Linkin Park: 8-bit rebellion" and read a tribute to the good old days of 8-bit processors have, and the graphic hervorbachte these devices: "Many years ago the world was living in 8-bit are harmony until PixxelKorp came on the scene. Now, formed in the substrate under the banner of 'Rebellion' resistance to brainwashing campaign of this diabolical company. You have been selected by the rebels to solve a mystery. The six leaders of the rebellion important objects stolen. raise you again, is the only hope to foil the plans of the diabolical PixxelKorp too. " The new song "Ten Minutes to Midnight" rewards the player until the end of the game. The band has worked closely with the designers in the development. Shinoda, who himself is also active as an artist, sent to the graphics team for detailed character sketches. When will the game exactly the AppStore is available, is not fixed yet. But it would not last much longer, so Shinoda.
  12. Can't wait for it to release, it's to bad i can't see it entirely right now since i won't get an LPU subscription till next week
  13. In everyone's opinion, if you had to choose, what would you say your least favorite Linkin Park song to be? This thread isn't meant to be about complaining about songs they've composed, but I'm just interested in what you guys have to say. For me, I would have to say Hit the Floor, only because the song had such a kick-ass intro, i kinda felt a little let down by the verses, otherwise it was an okay song in my opinion.
  14. "Pictureboard", which, according to Shinoda, was played once live with Bennington, probably some time in 2000 after the name change to Linkin Park That's all the info that I know or probably anyone who wasn't at the concert knows about it. Why?
  15. I personally thought the big exclusive was the pictureboard concert, but i probably was just getting my hopes up too high. It's a shame about being lied to, so it's in no way your fault, so no need to apologize. Can't wait for whats in store for this year! Heres to hoping that our hopes aren't way too high for the new song on 8-bit!
  16. Ah I see, well thanks for the information that you provided, still answered some of my questions regarding the band.
  17. Thanks for the move. What exactly lead to the break-up? Was it that it wasn't as serious as Gray Daze in making music or something else?
  18. Na, didn't the group dissolve or something? Cause I know for a fact Juelz Santana moved on a year or two after, and that Jim Jones left for whatever reason. I've heard Don Gilmore be another possible person being referenced in this song myself. I've always wondered who it was about though. you have an interview proving he was rapping about Jeff Blue by chance?
