Seriously i didnt think DTD had a theme at all. Im not worried about genre because what the whole point of the album is to write or produce music which has somewhat showed consideration, sympathy for those in need. When it comes down too it i reckon resurrections and Not Alone were two stand out songs from the album because they both are about what is happening at this very moment (or that moment). Alright there was some songs that had nothing to do with it but they were exclusives to help the course. IMO i dont think having metal or really heavy songs are good for this type of album Well yeh. Thats whats going through my head atm.

This is actually an really interesting thread. I cant think of anything else off the top of my head that hasnt been mentioned already. Ill see if i can think up anything else over the next few days

Really Good all round song. I showed it to my friend whos really picky with his music and didn't tell him who was it. He surprisingly liked it. Hopefully the albums as good as this.

I missed New Divide. Did anything special happen after they stopped the recording.

FM hands down. Because of the amount of stuff Mike did for FM eg the mixtape then he had the website all the promotion which is all something that DBS doesnt have it stands tall. If DBS did have all that then I still think FM would come out ontop because it seemed to get a better reaction.

Hey. Im Jay Only recently discovered JK through this site. into the album and all. Kinda hard when there not actually selling JK stuff here in Australia but i shall still do my best to support them.

I actually just though. Ive only heard Fire on the Radio Twice when it was people ringing up choosing what song (eg one song vs the other) DBS won both of those. But as for videos and all I haven't seen it once on Aussie TV.

And just think, Imagin the amount of time they would of rehearsed it and all. That could be close to 1000 times played.

XBox 360 ROD But i actually had a day of gaming with my mates with out 360s and that was random games for 24 hours. (like cod saints row etc) and 360 didn't overheat or anything.

I find this interesting. The 2nd video seems really old cos Mike with the buzz cut and Phoenix with no hair, It seems like this was recorded back when the hurricane happened and only just recently released it with Not Alone on the song (remember not alone was made this year)

While were on Lyric changes on shows. What does he whisper in Shadow of the day during the verse? He does it quite alot yet im never able to get what hes saying. After he sings "Your friends all plead for you too stay..."

Wow it is actually pretty Dope. I love the way they play the stock footage. Edit: its also a shame Shinoda is in it for like 2 seconds yet his name is still along side the artists. Id pick Not Alone Video over this tho.

Sydney 20/10/07 During Bleed it Out Phoenix had bass problems Swapped his bass (to backup) in time for his part in the 2nd verse. Can be heard on the DSP recently released (No bass Verse 1 and Chorus). EDIT: In video you can see Phoenix go and change his bass during the chorus.Fixed in 2.0/4.0 Thanks!

Well Im currently in a band myself. Ill use the Setlist we played at a gig not so long ago. Unfortnually we only get about 30 min sets around here which is a bitch. 1. Israels Son (With Long intro [secertly gives us time to finish setting up] and big breakdown) 2. Like a Stone 3. Shadow of the Day 4. Seven Nation Army (audioslave style) 5. Killing in the name (big ending) Also if i have time i normally rap Hands Held High or my own song acapella. Both songs have political views.

I actually had this discussion years ago when i was with a chick that was a big blink fan. I did a poll and it was pretty lob-sided to LP but then again, alot of people i know are LP fans. For some reason i don't think they suit well. Like blink is very punkish style. And you might get more people to see Blink then LP. but i think they would be a good support. Id prefer them over some of the other bands they had support them (I only liked Chris Cornell because of his Audioslave stuff. Thats was gold)
