How do you know that? Crawling has a lot of fills in it, but it's nearly impossible to pick them out with the rest of the song. You can only hear it when you listen to the multitrack. Who knows what the other songs hold. There's a fill on Papercut that doesn't follow the guitars at all, for one. Plus, I'm fairly certain Forgotten has little to no variation on the bass from the guitar root notes. The verse bassline is just the chorus bassline with a slightly different rhythm (I believe, but I can't really hear what the rhythm is for the chorus, it may very well be the same).

I'm so hoping I can go to this. I've been dying to see the band for 6 years, and this is the first time that the date and place has worked out so perfectly.

I'm completely against a THP sound. There's hardly any electronic influence on the album, which is kind of a staple of LP's music. I didn't like that on THP. It's a one-time deal, otherwise there's no use in keeping Joe in the band imo.

One Step Closer is actually referenced in a book, "The Heart and the Fist" by Eric Greitens, specifically the bridge section of the song. It's an autobiographical book about a SEAL and humanitarian's experiences, and the reference appears when he is recounting his training in the year 2000. Just thought this would be interesting.

I laughed so hard at this description. While I'm at this, I'm gonna say that the Figure.09 and Hit the Floor chorus synths sound really alike (the rapidly repeating ones for want of a more descriptive them).

Eh. Listening to the instrumental backwards, I highly doubt it. It's got too long of an attack when it's reversed. I personally think the beep is an effected harmonic from a guitar.
