  1. Agreed Martinez.
  2. I hope there isn't any Fort Minor shit in the new set. I want to see motherfuckin' Linkin Park. And I am sick of RTN and Welcome especially.
  3. Hmm. I don't think they have even uploaded any videos yet even though LPU 16 will have been out for several months soon. Last year they did all the track-by-track videos very early on after LPU 15 launched. In other words, I haven't even been on that part of the site. I do have a LPU 16 membership, the deluxe one, so I get access to it. But I'm not sure what kind of account you need. Do you mean you have a LPU 16 account? Or a prior one? Or no LPU account at all? Because I know if you're not a LPU member you obviously can't view the content (although I think there was a glitch that allowed non-LPU members to watch the videos at one point, if that's what you mean). If was likely fixed if that is what you mean.
  4. I think Mike even said in the LPA Podcast from December 2015 that the band felt unhappy with the whole Project Spark thing for GATS. The band knows that it messed up the album. Like Liontor said, the first single is extremely important, it's probably the most important part of the entire album cycle for casual listeners and stuff, as well as hardcore fans too, in a way. The band will probably want to do a proper release this time around for it, like they did with BID, for example. With GATS, they randomly posted one night saying to play COG on Shazam and you could hear the song. And then the Project Spark music video was pure shit. Then there was a long gap until UIG came out, etc. The band wanted to have GATS as the first single and Mike also said in the LPA Podcast from December 2015 that the label wanted them to come out with Final Masquerade, but the band didn't want to. But even with GATS as the first single, it could have been promoted much better than it was. BID was perfect, to me. It was a huge single and it helped LT hit number one. It was everywhere in 2012, I remember hearing it everywhere, even people that I never thought would like LP were playing it. The music video was huge for it, it was even used for the NBA. And then they announced HCT right after it and that was the band's highest selling tour of all time in the U.S., so.... I remember the band posted a video that said ''Check out our new single Burn It Down, coming xx.xx.xxxx.'' or something (I forgot the date). That built a lot of hype, that's what they need to do this time. For a big mainstream band like LP, they can't do what indie bands and indie artists do by releasing music for free or unexpectedly. They should do it the old fashioned way, because that's what works for LP.
  5. What they need to do, IMO, is announce the single weeks before it comes out to get people hyped. Then have a good music video for it, not like that Project Spark shit for GATS. Promote the fuck out of the single everywhere; all social media, etc. Then announce a huge tour, including most places around the globe, and the U.S. with a huge big name support act. Don't give out too many singles before the album drops like they did with THP, I hated that. And hype the album up huge, then drop the album.
  6. Well, to each their own. I admit that the news isn't as exciting as it will be once the single is announced and everything after that.
  7. There is a lot of new info. For one, we didn't know the band recorded in Canada for this album. We had known of London in September 2015 and obviously Los Angeles, but not Canada. We also learned of a few new collaborators on the album, as well as the fact that the band is producing the album themselves again like they did with THP. And Mike also said that it's almost here, noting the new music. So I think this is basically the end of the wait, with a single coming soon.
  8. Thank you so much.
  9. Yeah, you're probably right. Usually for a print interview like this one, it would have been a month or so ago, maybe more. I think January will be the first taste of new music with a single, this kind of confirms it now. And album probably March or April, with a huge summer tour across the globe, etc. Seems much more easier to figure out a time frame now.
  10. Possibly the best interview about the new album so far. Really cool news. I'm also excited as hell for the new single, which should be coming soon, like Mike said. Shit is about to start.
  11. We need scans of the original. This interview is translated pretty badly, it's obvious to tell. I hope it surfaces soon because this is probably the best interview we have yet for the new album.
  12. Some of the LPU releases have gems in them, but they are few and far between.
  13. Maybe KOC will go on to play more shows in 2017 and beyond. Pretty cool. I think they should play the whole U.S., so that more people can go and see them play. Chester clearly has fun doing it, too.
  14. After listening to the the entire show at once, yeah, this was definitely a shitty performance. Papercut sounded ok, the pro-shot, but that's really it. Damn.
  15. House Of Blues in Boston isn't that big of a venue, no. not compared to places that Linkin Park plays and stuff. I've seen two other shows there before, both STP with Chester in 2013 and 2015. The crowd was small, though, it definitely wasn't sold out. A lot of people at the show were commenting on how there weren't a lot of people at the show. It was closer to being sold out when I saw STP with Chester there.
  16. So, just saw Kings Of Chaos last night in Boston. Was a good show. Did the ''Pass The Line'' thing that they offer at The House Of Blues where you can eat there and skip the main line. So I got in before a lot of other people and got right up on the bar. There wasn't a large turn out at this show by any means, very little people, probably the smallest crowd for any show I've ever been to. Frany Perez And The Truth were pretty good, and they did a cover of Closer by NIN which was cool, and messed around with the crowd a little bit. Kings Of Chaos nailed it. They opened up with Vasoline, White Wedding and Fire Woman (Fire Woman being by favorite song that KOC performed) with Chester singing all and it was awesome. Robin Zander was at this show (he wasn't on the Vegas dates) and he ended up doing a random version of The Flame by Cheap Trick, acoustically. I don't think he did this at the NJ show but I could be wrong. He said Matt Sorum asked him specifically to do it and he felt awkward doing it but he was just going to do it anyways, and he performed it. Lol. Robin also sang Surrender by Cheap Trick, which was cool to hear live. Billy Gibbons did a few ZZ Top songs, Sharp Dressed Man and Tush, as well as Waitin' On The Bus, I really enjoyed Sharp Dressed Man a lot, really cool to see these songs live, even though I'm not the biggest fan of this style of music. Steve Stevens did a long solo before Chester came out and sang Edie and Interstate Love Song. This was when the show got kind of annoying, because some girl next to me got pissed off at me because I wasn't ''into it'' enough for her, I guess. In reality she just wanted my spot on the rail. Nobody was jumping up and down and screaming during Edie and Interstate Love Song because they were acoustic so everyone was kind of chilling out during those, but not her. Robert DeLeo even shook his head at her. Lol. I've been to a shit ton of concerts in my life and I've never been yelled at by anyone for not freaking out. She got annoying so I finally just moved back and let her and her boyfriend into my spot on the rail. Being second row wasn't as bad as having to deal with it. And the next song was also Ace Of Spades, done by Matt Sorum, dedicated to Lemmy, so the girl went crazy, I was glad I moved back. It was a cool cover and everyone was having fun. Chester came back out for Sex Type Thing and Love Removal Machine and killed both, super high energy and it was great. He took off his shirt and jacket during these (wasn't sure if necessary to add or not but fuck it) lol. Rebel Yell and Dream Police were done by Robin and were both good. Robin also sang I Want You To Want Me by Cheap Trick and for some reason it wasn't on the setlist, but he definitely did it and the crowd loved it. Billy Gibbons came back out for a few more songs and the biggest surprise of the night was Chester doing Whole Lotta Love by Led Zeppelin. No idea this was going to happen and it was easily the coolest performance of the night next to Fire Woman for me. I had listened to Chester sing it so many times over the years with Camp Freddy and other bands and it was really cool to see live. He killed it and the crowd went nuts, including myself. Chester then said he loved Boston and would see us again soon (hinting at LP tour?). Tried getting a setlist and a guitar pick once the band was done playing but to no luck. I did manage to take a photo of the setlist from someone that got one, though. Overall, a cool show and I think a lot of people would like it, even if they weren't super into that kind of music, because it was just cool to see.
  17. Sounds good to me. And would be a good time for release for both.
  18. Hell yes. Been a long time coming. Can't wait for the new single + album. Hopefully we will see the first single in January!!!
  19. Amazing about the band selling over 20,000 within the first 24 hours of pre-sale.
  20. Where does AFN have a glitch?
  21. Well, LP shouldn't totally forget that they just released The Hunting Party a few years ago. They should keep in mind the attitude that they had when writing it and not forget that a few years ago they were bashing pop music basically. It's fine if they want to go pop but they should still keep a little bit of a heavier side to it. Chester's screaming is basically the entire reason that I fell in love with LP in the first place and a song doesn't have to be nu-metal or even rock or metal to feature screaming in it, just look at tracks like Blackout and Lost In The Echo, some of Chester's best screaming comes from those songs and they are more electronically driven than others. I want at least one or two tracks with screaming, which I bet will be on the album. If ATS had one song with screaming, then there is no way in hell they will abandon that entirely. Because even if they don't want Chester to scream anymore, tons and tons of LP's songs that they play during their live show feature screaming, so it doesn't matter AS much to me.
  22. He did sound bad. Guess Papercut is an exception.
  23. How do you think this was one of his worst shows? Holy shit he sounds so good on Papercut. I don't listen to the low quality shit like that. You have to go by SBD audio or pro-shot audio.
  24. Hasn't been updated or posted in for quite a while. We need new news.
  25. Now all they need is to book shows in Venezuela, Columbia, Paraguay, Chile, Uruguay, Ecuador and Guyana and some more.
