Good LPTV. These are the kind of episodes that LPTV has been lacking IMO. It's really cool how they put everything together so quickly, especially how Mike was handling everything while being in the vocal booth and what not.
1. I'm thinking it was recorded a few days ago, so most likely 2010.
2. I don't think it will appear on the new album. Mike said the band is trying to get music out quicker and in more ways for fans than ever before so it most likely is just a track dedicated to the relief effort for Haiti which is pretty amazing IMO.
I wouldn't say the whole DBS thing sucks. I really enjoy Out Of Ashes and seeing them live was pretty awesome. I do agree that Chester should get fully back into LP mode though. This whole problem with DBS interfering now could have been avoided if DBS had good management to start with. Release the album in October like they did, then immediately start a world tour, they could have been done by December.
I have to admit, the only songs that I really like from the compilation are obviously Not Alone but also the Kenna and Hoobastank tracks are decent too.
We'll get the game soon enough. Basically we'll have two new LP songs to listen to from January, pretty fucking awesome if you ask me. We got New Divide, Lockjaw, Across The Line + Demos, You Are Not Alone and the new 8bit Rebellion song.
I forgot that DBS was still like active...or whatever they are. I thought side projects moved on after a certain period of time...I thought Chester was working on the new LINKIN PARK record...
You've got to be kidding me. Mike is BY FAR the most talented member of Linkin Park. While I agree he may not be the most talented singer out there, I enjoy it and he is great rapper IMO. What makes Mike so talented is how well he is musically.
Just because a bunch of famous people died in 2009 could be a lot to someone, and mean nothing to someone else. That has to be the single most STUPIDEST way to bitch about people wanting a new LP song. You make no sense.
And why compare Trent Reznor to Linkin Park? Wtf? Besides, Mike is 1000 times more talented than Trent IMO.
I highly doubt it would be a new song. They already are releasing a new song with 8 Bit Rebellion and TLTGYA would fit in this situation anyways. Who knows, maybe it'll be a compilation not including LP? You never know.
No, I highly doubt they would just release the game without a big announcement and release date. I'm assuming it will come out on a Tuesday so it could be January 19th or January 26th IMO.
