  1. All of these are fine examples of why the band shouldn't put dates on demos that they give us. For example, instead of Dedicated (1999 Demo), they could just have had Dedicated (Hybrid Theory Demo). Basically like what they did with stuff like Debris on LPU12, they just said Debris (Minutes To Midnight Demo).
  2. I don't know about any of you guys, but EDM is huge where I live. We have local EDM parties at clubs almost every week and I know TONS of people that are obsessed with EDM and dubstep. They even played UIB (DatSik Remix) at a Halloween EDM party I went to this year.

  4. I feel as though WID bridged the gap between their old sound and their new sound with MTM. I also think that is what they set out to do.
  5. The only bands that don't adapt or try new things are like hardcore punk bands and death metal bands, etc. LP LIKES to experiment and do stuff. They weren't forced to. Selling out would have been LP just making Hybrid Theory every single time. By changing and adapting with MTM, the band survived and became bigger than they ever were because of it.
  6. No, not really, because the band has always wanted to experiment. Even back in 2000-2004, they were lumped into the nu metal category, but they were different than the other nu metal bands in ways. Back in 2003, someone in the band (I think Chester) said they wanted to start heading in the direction that BTH was. With MTM they sort of did that, but took it further. The band is smart, they knew they needed to adapt to survive. I think selling out would have been them trying to cash out on the whole nu metal thing album after album. LP has managed to stay on top (one of the biggest bands in the world today) and adapt in ways that other nu metal bands didn't and now most of those bands aren't relevant or around anymore.
  7. LP is becoming more hipster everyday.
  8. I respect you in the same way but What I've Done seriously is my absolute favorite song by the band, I'd be crushed if they dropped it. But yeah, I'm sick of waiting literally all day long, standing in the same spot (I already have back issues) and then being crushed against the baracade and shit. I'd rather get seats and enjoy the entire day.
  9. Yeah, I guess. That and the fact that they are seem primed for a movie. What I've Done was a bit different than the others but I could still see it having a movie vibe to it.
  10. Honestly, if LP were ever going to play RU live, this would be the time. It's not on a major tour and this is most likely the last show they will play in the LT era because this summer we will probably see a first single from the 6th album. It would make sense. But this is LP we are talking about here, they never do anything cool like that. I don't expect it much besides the same old set.
  11. I still firmly believe that ALTNC will be on Transformers 4 or be used in the movie. It fits the movie so well, it has that same feel as songs like New Divide, What I've Done and Iridescent had and it's also way more electronically driven than the others. Electronic music is what is big right now in the music scene and the movies is about robots essentially.
  12. No More Sorrow needs a return!!
  13. Definitely. The MTM anticipation was insane...
  14. Praying for a 12 song album.
  15. Vertical Limit is fake.
  16. WTCFM, Blackout and Wretches are all good high energy songs from ATS. They could have kept those, as well as Waiting For The End and it would be fine. It's when they played stuff like BITS, Iridescent, The Catalyst, The Messenger and all the interludes from the album that put people to sleep.
  17. I wish we could actually get a REAL clip of new music. Lol. Or an idea of what the final shape of the album will look like, sound wise.
  18. I've always appreciated that LP does their own thing and creates unique music and pretty much just make whatever they want. MTM didn't really shock me. I guess what shocked me the most was probably the first time I heard The Catalyst and then the rest of ATS. I wasn't expecting that much of a change.
  19. I love MTM and if they were to drop those, all they would have is Bleed It Out and I highly doubt they will keep the medley. I've seen LP live 15 times now and I'm over being in the pit and getting front row, etc. The next LP tour I am going to get seat tickets and just enjoy the day instead of making sure I get the front and waiting there all day. What I've Done is also my favorite LP song of all time and it would seriously suck if they didn't play it. Remember that girl who got really upset when LP didn't play In The End and Chester tweeted about it saying they were definitely going to play it after that and felt bad? That's like me with What I've Done.
  20. I used to say that I wouldn't go to another LP show once they permanently drop Given Up from the sets, but now I don't care AS much. I would still hate to see it go, but I know someday it will happen. If they ever drop What I've Done, I honestly won't go. But I think I am safe with What I've Done at least.
  21. Pretty much this. I don't see why they would play the remaining songs off of LT if they have a new album coming out and they didn't play them on the whole LT tour. I would like to see some really old LP songs return like RME or HV, maybe even And One, that'd be awesome.
  22. Yay, another Meteora Era fan.
  23. Never knew there was a full show source for this. Would be awesome to have.
  24. Mike could make another FM album using electro beats and stuff like he rapped over on IBG and STB on Recharged. Would sound awesome, actually. This way he could get all the electro stuff out of his system and keep LP free of it.
  25. I wish I could go back in time and experience all of that.
