  1. LP > Karaoke Master
  2. It won't. He would never sacrifice anything related to LP for STP or whatever. I also think he canceled the tour because he is hard at work on the new LP album with the guys and they want to get it out this year. I don't think it has to do with STP recording a full album at all. STP is just a side band, it's not LP, you know what I mean?
  3. If they are going to do a ''B cities'' tour like you said before, I think they will play Florida. If they do a B cities tour I probably won't be able to see them in all the usual places I see them like Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York and New Jersey. Actually, maybe New York. They did a B cities tour in 2008 for the MTM Arena Tour and they played New Hampshire and New York so I think I'll be able to attend those. Maybe Montreal.
  4. Nice!! LP really seems to be putting in a huge effort to hit up a lot of places this year and do it right. I can't wait for the US dates to be announced.
  5. Boys Don't Cry! He covered it with BOW but a studio version would be epic.
  6. Hell yeah. I haven't listened to a lot of old recordings from LP (mostly just the infamous ones) and Montreal was awesome. I bet Toronto will be as well.
  7. I would love to hear Chester's vocal take on a Three Days Grace track... his voice would fit pretty much every song by them, but preferably something on the heavier rock side. Stuff like Home, Animal I Have Become, Happiness, etc.
  8. Cool for the India fans. Hope LP will play a show there during their next tour.
  9. Is it possible to purchase a Xero tape from anywhere? The 1997 tape.
  10. Wow, really? LPUX was my favorite LPU release since 9 by far. Unfortunate, What We Don't Know, Pretend To Be, Pale and Coal are some of my all time favorite LPU tracks. So good. What We Don't Know is beautiful and epic. I am happy that none of these awesome tracks ever made the albums because it keeps them underground for hardcore LP fans. No regular or casual LP fan is going to just look up demos and stuff like that most likely. LPU11 had some decent tracks, I like Slip and Blue a lot. I would have liked Bang Three a lot more if it had some demo vocals, the very first vocal take would have been cool to hear. LPU12 was a bit of a disappointment. I loved Homecoming but that song seemed primed for vocals, I can almost guarantee that they had vocals on it at some point. I liked Asbestos a lot but again, they should have had some epic screams from Chester for the chorus.
  11. I just got my LPU13 package in the mail today. For some reason, the package this year seems like it isn't as much. I know it's pretty much what we usually get. I just feel a little unsatisfied after purchasing the 60 dollar all-in-one package. The shirt is pretty cool but it's tight. I still like it a lot though, I will definitely be wearing it to an outdoor LP show in the future, it seems perfect for a hot summer day. The poster is pretty badass. I like the artwork, but it's a very small poster and I don't like how the portraits of the band are from years ago and not recent pics of the band. Kind of odd. The PlugAir thing seems a little stupid to me. I downloaded the PlugAir app and I keep getting an error every time it tries to read my LPU Plug Air. The CD case is ultra cheap, just a very cheap plastic sleeve that doesn't even hold the CD in place and a very low quality paper booklet. I am not a fan of the design on the lanyard this year either. I don't know. I hate being the only one to complain about LPU13 but I feel like the package for every other year so far has been better and I've been a member since 3.0 so that goes a long way back. As far as the online website goes, it seems pretty decent. I didn't like the website design for LPU12 at all so I am happy that this design is a lot more cleaned up. I do wish we could get some more LPUTV episode but that is ultimately up to Mark Fiore anyways. The forum of coarse is atrocious but it has been like that ever since LPU9 I believe. I don't even remember when the old forum was used but I can remember it from 2008 so I think it was 2009 that they changed it. Either that or it was 2010. Anyways, not much more to say. As far as the CD goes, I rarely listen to it honestly. It's been out since November of last year and it hasn't really grown on me. Past LPU albums have been better IMO. I do like Primo and Cumulus a lot but the rest are 'meh'. It also bugs me that the Ryan Giles and Beta States songs are on the actual CD for some reason. I like the whole 10 song demo CD thing we get each year and I don't like it being on the physical CD, I think they should have just been downloadable mp3's from the site similar to when they released stuff like Crawling during LPU8 or Morning After during LPU9.
  12. I agree that Spraypaint was better than Be Somebody, but you have to understand that Be Somebody wasn't really on the album, it was a bonus track for the Special Edition. I think the 16 songs that Mike picked for the album were great and the best choices, but there are definitely other good FM tracks out there that didn't make the cut. I love all FM tracks. But yeah, I think The Battle was re-recorded. I think it's cool that they did that because The Battle that is on The Rising Tied is only 30 seconds and it cuts off very awkwardly. Lol.
  13. I know that on Celph Titled's ''The Gatalog'' he released The Battle (Full Version), Cover And Duck and S.C.O.M. all without the remix skips and stuff from We Major. Didn't Apathy release something as well, with Bloc Party's original version? I want to collect all these. How many songs from We Major were released elsewhere??
  14. Mike's remix of Victimized is heavy as fuck though.
  15. All signs keep indicating to a ''heavier'' LP album. Chester first said it back in mid 2013 when he said the stuff Mike was writing was super heavy and stuff and also that Mike was listening to a lot of metal, punk and hardcore music. We all know LP usually listens to music to give them inspiration while writing albums or they usually won't listen to music at all. Also, Mike said he wants to ''revive the rock scene'' a bit with the next album and that he hopes to get a movement going. Mike also has been hanging out with Austin Carlile from Of Mice & Men a lot (super heavy band) and they just played a show with The Offspring and Bad Religion, both punk bands. I am so pumped up about this, but I can't get too excited because this album might end up being the opposite of this.
  16. I just got super excited when I read that but I don't want to get too excited because this could end up like MTM and not be heavy. Even though I love MTM to death. I just want a heavy record from LP or at least a few super heavy songs.
  17. The new remix EP is out today. Sounds great, I recommend the purchase for anyone. I don't love EDM but this EP is pretty good actually.
  18. I don't think that Tumblr is official.
  19. Yeah, I had no idea LP was planning on releasing the album and doing a full world tour in 2014, so I guess it will be a very busy year, especially for Chester doing his STP stuff. On a side note, I wish I could go to Soundwave. LOL. Last year I wanted to go so badly when LP played. Seems so awesome. Nice weather, great country, and you gets tons and tons of days of great bands.
  20. Well both System and SX-10 played that night and so didn't Xero. Unless the same lineup took place before this date, I will call it the first Xero show ever.
  21. Mike calls ALTNC ''Victorious''. I think it was the demo title for ALTNC.
  22. But Chester has said before that he sucks at guitar.
  23. This is probably a stupid question, but was the 11/14/1997 show with Xero and System Of A Down the first known date of the band overall? I know there have been pics of flyers and stuff like that from over the years, but I'm really curious. Mike also mentioned in the SSMF interview that the show with System Of A Down was one of their very first shows, so this made me more curious.
