  1. This song is sick af! I know a lot of people complain about this being "generic music", but LP has never done anything like this before, and as someone who hasn't been spoiled by listening to too much pop music, I've thoroughly enjoyed every song that's been released from this album so far. We have a catchy chorus with great vocals from Chazz, Mike spitting some sick lines in a style he hasn't done before, solid guest features that ease into the song nicely, and probably the most "active" instrumental out of the three songs. I can easily see OML becoming my favorite LP album to date. I've enjoyed every song so far. Hopefully that trend continues. Thanks for the awesome music guys!
  2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-Dx1aWPTiU 0:30 - 0:53 Well, It was under our noses this whole time, and we missed it.
  3. Maybe the song is secretly about hoes. You don't know Mike's personal life. You leave him and his bitches/hoes alone and let em rap
  4. Chester sounds really good here. I dig it.
  5. That's exactly what he means. People that complain about the music not always catering to what they want.
  6. Take a chill pill. I've seen some of the mods give the new tracks a couple hits because they don't like Heavy or Battle Symphony. Don't put yourself on a pedestal either. You toss your insults around more than a salad. It doesn't make your opinions & insults any better than someone who enjoys the music or someone that calls you out on thorough inconsistencies (Astat of course). Its one thing to discuss and debate, its another to act like a 4 year old.
  7. Noticed something big. Heavy was stuck on my mind the second I heard it. This, not so much. That doesn't mean I don't like it, but replay value may not be as strong as Heavy. That being said, the song is still pretty damn great. The synths have me hooked from the getgo and the lyrics definitely have a nice twist from usual LP. Big props to the amazing bridge. I'm completely captured by that part and would have loved for it to repeat somewhere in the final chorus, but for what the song is, easily give it an 8/10. Maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but this album is looking to be a favorite. Onto the next track
  8. Well Mike said that One More Light is a very stripped down song with Chester on vocals, and Mike on piano. I imagine it'll sound a lot like that clip.
  9. Where was this said? Nevermind https://twitter.com/LPAssociation/status/834060607930384384?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw
  10. The song sounds amazing. I have to say that it hits hardest from a lyrical point of view. 2016 ended on such a hard note for me (my dog passing away, mom and brother in a car accident, parents talking about divorce, etc) that this sinks into "the feels" completely. Wish it would have come out a month earlier. Beautiful song nonetheless
  11. I'm sure it was anticipated. Mike mentioned the polarizing reactions people got from ATS when talking about reactions for Heavy. It was expected.
  12. And music is dictated by age, right?
  13. Lmfao I'll admit, I didn't think it was the bad of a song either
  14. All I gotta say is farewell to all you posers. Thanks for your time with LP
  15. Its all subjective. Whatever the case being, music is music. If you guys don't like the sound, you just listen to something else. Not a big deal.
  16. I'm all for this if LP7 sounds like this. Complete 180 from The Hunting Party. Definitely would feel fresh and if I ever feel the need to go headbanger crazy THP and other albums are still there
  17. That first link didnt work for me either. Had to close out the tab and reclick for it to work. Tbh, really not worth the trouble. Audio quality and angle are both bad
  18. He sang part of the bridge. Always a rare treat. Plus, he sounds very smooth
  19. I would almost agree if I didnt't like the synths much more in Darker Than Blood, not to mention that fucking great ending. It would have been infinitely better if it had Chester's lead vocals from the final chorus across the whole song
  20. Fire Woman is fucking awesome. Chester is just killing it!
  21. Couple months ago he said the album was complete, but that he and the label were discussing how to release it because the music was to "club" for consumer sale.
  22. I wonder what kind of ice cream Rob likes.
  23. 24. Not really. LP always performs shows before album releases. This isn't anything new. Only thing we might expect is one or two new songs to pop up for this particular show.
  25. Considering the weird promotions LP has been doing lately as well as these recent shows Chester has been popping up at, it kinda seems a bit off putting to me that he left STP because of "time constraints" when it actuality it seems like he's got a lot more free time on his hands than ever before. Don't get me wrong, the guy can do what he wants with his life, but it kinda comes off as a tad disrespectful.
