    I find it extremely contradicting that the people who are idolizing the 17 second scream are the same ones who wanting more ballard-eque LP albums.

    Honestly I think they've lost their uniqueness. I have tons of LP merch, tattoos, etc. I am/was a big fan. I personally think WB is to blame in all of this.

    umad? I'm expressing my opinion just like you are expressing yours. Less guitar is a bad thing when they're known for their energy and all of a sudden they just completely abandoned their signature sound on ATS. I'm going to state my opinion in hopes that the outcry from ATS can avoid us ever getting another LP cd like that.

    Easier To Run. That's why I love it so much. Deep lyrics without compromising the traditional LP sound.

    Chester dominates the vocals in LP now. He's definitely not the frontman of the band anymore. Thanks, Rick Rubin!

    The LPU is a joke now. Not worth the money since meet and greets are not guaranteed( I'm 0-5) and the forums aren't what they were. The cd is the only bright spot.

    I'm not a fan of this. I wish they went a different direction. Maybe even let Mike produce it on his own.

    Yeah, it's funny that I look forward to the lpu cd's more than I do for album release now. They have a lot of great older tracks. Speaking of which, isn't their obligation to Warner over after their next cd? Correct me if I'm wrong.

    I'm actually all for another DBS record. I liked it a lot more than ATS.

    The only songs I liked on it are BITS,Blackout and Blackbirds which isn't even on the cd. By far, the worst LP cd to date.

    Or how about they went back to rock and hip hop but expanded upon the 3 minute song and verse formula and made something truly experimental. I just think they excel in the rock/hip hop category not the pop/ballard one. It's like they're the jack of all genres (now), master of none.

    I bet they have enough good bsides to release an entire retail cd if they broke up or went on hiatus that Warner could release.

    Explain how ATS is not pop. If you read all of my posts, you'd see that I'm not always pessimistic.
