  1. thx for the videos and your effort, ana. just one quick advice for future endeavors, you should either film/tape OR enjoy the show . it has a huge influence on the audio quality if you constantly sing along in all tones . aside from that good work!
  2. there is so much truth in that in too many ways.
  3. nah, don't be so hard with yourself. it was all a bit of a misunderstanding and the whole topic should get laid to rest. let's continue to be happy about the new shows those guys provided us. @michaelangelo i know about the problem concerning the person you mentioned but as i seem to be on the minority of people actually feeling offended by his behaviour there is not much we can do about that. as long as he can say what he wants in the harsh tone he actually uses about 90% of the time and gets away with it we can't do anything else but accept that while keeping on. don't let that affect your taping activities.
  4. oh, and not to forget: thank you blackchester aswell as michaelangelo in the other topic. it's you guys who keep this site entertaining (along with all the productive staff members of course) and i really do worship your effort you put into taping AND sharing. great job!
  5. well put, thank you!
  6. i would bet on certain staff members taping a few shows but (like always) won't share them .
  7. i hope everyone that goes enjoys themselves. have fun and rock out .
  8. and i really really hope that happens! there is no other way bands will drop prices. i can just speak for the "e-werk" and IMO that one is too big (appr. 2000 people fit in there). there would've been alternatives like the "live music hall" (1000 people) or even my highly loved "underground" (about 500 people). the "e-werk" isn't even a club anymore.
  9. i was on the edge of giving in and ordering a ticket for the cologne show... but then i saw the prices again and was like "yeah, screw you". it is a shame that a DBS show costs as much as the 30STM one with huge differences in popularity and (IMO) quality. they should've made a small club tour. that would've fit the band much more.
  10. wish you the best for LPL4! keep up the good work :)

  11. that's pure garbage actually. lp are slow workers. we have to accept that. i don't like the fact either, but what can i do? whatever mike actually said about the gap between new releases, it was clearly pointed at a new album as he was refering to their past releases. oh well! there are different kinds of bands. you got the "thrice" (released 3 full albums in 2 years plus a live dvd with 25 songs on it), you got the "30 seconds to mars" (4 years for their last album) and as an extreme "guns 'n roses"... not to mention that the recording time has no influence on the quality of the final product... i really hope everyone got that by now!
  12. just stopping by to emphasize the i-dont-care-site of lplive. thanks
  13. woa, it must've been ages that i've been on lp.com. so i don't bother at all for this exclusive .

you practically said it yourself. don't announce release dates if nothing is fix and there won't be any complaining. i would like to see your reaction if LP announces an album and pushes it back three times while hyping it even more everytime .no bad feelings intended, just saying.

thx for the info. sad what happened!keeping quiet (or at least hyping when everything is ready to go) is always the best thing. i don't complain about lplive or anything, just thought now would be a good point to actually reveal it. keep up the great work!

now you could at least tell us what this BIG boohay was all about. seriously!
  18. and it's in no way justified to add 10€ to the german shows.
  19. i read an interview once with someone in charge at eventim.de and he clearly said that "artists" (whatever this means - managers, members themselves, etc) are the price setters.
  20. you are 23 . if it wasn't for the distance i would guide you under my "wings"
  21. considering about an hour of material (therefore an hour long setlist) the price is in no way justified.
  22. what??? that's damn expensive! have to overthink my attendence...
  23. haha, no! but i see how one might understand it that way . the US is a much bigger country and while bands, that come over here to europe, normally tour around germany (mostly: berlin, hamburg, cologne/düsseldorf, munich) and cover all directions because germany is like 800km to 600km in size, americans get ditched all the time. even smaller american bands get anywhere near SOMETHING big in germany while smaller bands in the US often can't get over their state or tour their neighbour at max. so, if schoecknlgdssd-guy (sorry, can't get it right right now ) complains about a 1 1/2 hour drive (or less than an hour train travel!!!) than he should rather be happy to not live in big america. hope that clears the fog
  24. oh come on! as if cologne would be THAT far away... should be lucky to not live in the US i'll be at the cologne show for sure. prices won't be too high, so call me in.
  25. i stopped collecting them after the 2007 summer shows. they all sound the same (except for minor differences) and it's more than enough to get hold of the different setlists. having them just for having them is stupid. everyone who listens to all of them or needs them for reference should pick them up, sure. so, these DSP news don't get me excited at all .
