Aiman Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 They got something hide, i totally forgot New Divide. But 11 songs is too much for 30 minutes of Performance. Maybe if The Catalyst of What I've Done out. Quote
RogueSoul Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Numb/Encore Outro w/ Mike & Chester, Short Outro Transition into Ballad Medley Quote
Twiilite Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Absolutely LOVING this performance. Chester is on fire tonight! The medley-action is perfect for a 30 min set like this. Quote
Catalyst619 Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 BID as a closer probably. Though I'd love OSC. Quote
RogueSoul Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 (edited) Looks like they're doing another medley. No second verse Sing-a-long outro returns & BID. FAINT DAMN AWESOME LIGHTS ON OUTRO OSC. Last song Edited September 23, 2012 by Soul Quote
Astat Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 01. In the End - New piano intro, shortened version (no second chorus/bridge - Mike also messed up and repeated the first verse twice) 02. Bleed it Out - shortened version (only played through the bridge, included the "speed up" that normally leads into Sabotage, but it transitioned into WFTE instead) 03. Waiting For the End - w/Apaches intro and Wall of Noise outro, shortened version (no second verse/chorus) 04. Lost in the Echo - no 2012 intro 05. Numb - w/Numb/Encore outro lyrics tease (Mike and Chester), piano outro transition into... 06. Leave Out All the Rest/Shadow of the Day/Iridescent (medley) 07. What I've Done - extended piano/singalong outro, shortened version (no second verse/chorus) 08. Burn it Down 09. Faint - w/extended outro 10. One Step Closer - w/extended outro I wouldn't call anything a "medley" really, they just did some quick transitions from one song to the next at certain points, and cut parts out of various songs. RogueSoul Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 (edited) CRAZY show. Here's everything: http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showtopi...st&p=175201 In The End (Piano Intro; Abbreviated) Bleed It Out (Abbreviated) Waiting For The End (Apaches Intro w/ 'UNTIL IT BREAKS' rap; Ext. Outro; Abbreviated) LOST IN THE ECHO Numb (Outro 'Numb/Encore' lyrics tease (Mike/Chester); Short Keyboard Transition Outro) LOATR/SOTD/Iridescent (Ballad Medley) What I've Done (Sing-a-long Outro; Abbreviated) BURN IT DOWN (Outro Mess up) Faint (Ext. Outro) One Step Closer (Ext. Outro) Show Notes: - The band played a special set due to the 30-minutes they were given at the festival. - For intros and outros: "In The End" featured a Piano Intro for the first time, 'Numb' had its 'Short Keyboard Transition Outro' for the first time since 9/25/11 Singapore, 'What I've Done' didn't have the intro that leads into the piano, 'What I've Done' had the 'Sing-a-long Outro" from 9/8/12 Carson, and Joe messed up the outro to 'BURN IT DOWN'. - The band abbreviated songs throughout the show so they could play as many as possible. 'In The End' didn't have a bridge, 'Bleed It Out' was stopped right before the bridge, and 'Waiting For The End' had no second verse or chorus. Then at 'What I've Done', there was no second verse or second chorus. Other Notes: - First time LP played the iHeartRadio Festival. Due to time constraints, the band had to play an abbreviated 30 minute set with a special setlist. The band played at 10:30PM as opposed to the regular 9:20 PM. - They played after Taylor Swift and before deadmau5 - Chester was a bit ahead of the song during the bridge of "What I've Done" - First time 'In The End' opened a show in the first spot in a set, 'Bleed It Out' was in the second spot and 'Waiting For The End' in the third spot. - Before 'LOST IN THE ECHO', Mike had the crowd cheer "Las. Vegas. Linkin. Park. Sucks." Edited September 23, 2012 by Soul Quote
TheProfessor Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 yeah i jumped the gun using that term. But oh well, shortened songs were the thing tonight... and why not? with a shortened amount of time they did what they had to, to fit as many songs as possible Quote
Aiman Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Surprised there was no New Divide, honestly. Quote
Twiilite Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Can I just say that Linkin Park came out and performed like fucking LEGENDS? That performance was pretty near flawless. I especially loved seeing the twitter responses from people who've never really listened to the band and are now hooked. Quote
