Elaine Posted October 26, 2011 Author Posted October 26, 2011 No quote tags in the Newswire please mkay? Sorry. I'll refrain from that in the future. ^^
linkink Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 How about Breaking the Habit? They haven't included that on an LPU CD for the last couple of years.
Twiilite Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 As much as I would love an LPU album full of B-sides, I think a few acoustic versions of their songs would be just as incredible.
Elaine Posted October 27, 2011 Author Posted October 27, 2011 (edited) As much as I would love an LPU album full of B-sides, I think a few acoustic versions of their songs would be just as incredible. Compromise. Acoustic WITH B-Sides, a mixture! How about Breaking the Habit? They haven't included that on an LPU CD for the last couple of years. Breaking the Habit Piano Acoustic? And they did. The demo on LPU9. Edited October 27, 2011 by adaminator1
crazygolfer Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 I would love a studio recording of Rolling in the Deep, would be so dope. I can't count how many times I've watched the live performance.
Geki Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 Can't fucking wait. I joined LPU in 2004 for 4.0, and have renewed each year since. Plan on doing it again this year. Cannot wait for the CD!!!
Pez Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 How about Breaking the Habit? They haven't included that on an LPU CD for the last couple of years. Let me just quote a lyric which Chester wrote himself to sum up this quote and actually the whole LPU situation.... "I don't wanna be let down, I don't wanna live that life again, Don't wanna be lead down the same old road..."
matassi Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 i would love a cd that is either b-sides, remixes, acoustics, or studio versions of some of their live intros and outros. the last 2 lpu cds have been awesome, hopefully this one continues the trend.
FORTsunrise Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 I think it be cool to at least see one of the future LPU releases to be comprised of entirely new songs the guys recorded specifically for that years cd. Kind of like an EP in the vein of Papa Roach's Time For Annihilation and 12 Stones' The Only Easy Day Was Yesterday.
alexbism Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 Breaking the Habit Piano Acoustic? That's on a DSP from toronto x) .
Sucre06 Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 Breaking the Habit Piano Acoustic? That's on a DSP from toronto x) .Here the video of this performance:
Geki Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Here the video of this performance: I was at that show... such a great performance. I think they should have done BTH in full piano version like this for the rest of the 2008 tour, or in future shows. It's a beautiful version of the song.
ThePretender Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 They should make The Linkin Park Underground Theme Song.
GingerLP Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 They should make The Linkin Park Underground Theme Song.meh. i think its good they change the LPUTV song each year.
Mr_wil5on Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 I want real message boards. +1, I really wish they would have stayed in groove with what LPU9 had to offer. It was great, though I never really posted on the message boards

ThePretender Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 meh. i think its good they change the LPUTV song each year. I wasn't quite serious ^^.
Dark_Adolescent Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 I just wish they had something worth purchasing the membership for at all. I loved the LPUX CD but other than that they didn't have anything relevant to my interests, so I never became a member. Meh.
HybridThe0ry97 Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Not a member, but interested to see what the tracks will be. Feel the same way. I was an LPU member years ago, it basically represented me paying to be a fan...and that's not my thing.

Other people answer this too.
FearOfTheDuck Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Who needs official message boards when you have LPLive
