Just got back from the show, had a M&G! All the guys were really chilled and lovely, short but sweet. Really liking this format of Meet and Greet actually, there were only a small number of LPUers so it was pretty intimate. Mike chatted to us for a bit after all the others had left! Can't believe i met them !!!

 

Glad to hear Papercut and The Messenger at this show. During the BIO bridge i'm pretty I sure can safely describe it as a "Party Mix", similar to that at MK. Mike and Chester had a little competition Also, gave the guys an England flag at the M&G for the second night running (Melian got hers on at Manchester ;D). Had LPlive written on it

I don't see why people fuss about LP having a few verses of song on the bleed it out bridge. It gives some people the opportunity to hear a song they wish they would perform live and adds more epicness to the end of a concert for sure. I went to projekt rev 07 and 08 and both years they played bleed it out at the end and i didn't really like the 2nd year of doing the OHHH eeeee Oooo singing stuff. I would definately have liked it better hearing a cool singing of another song in the bridge. I think that the more variety they can do with the setlists the better. Especially since there are fans that go to a lot of shows in a tour. I Definately think they should trying out some other songs over bleed it out, and as time passes maybe switch some songs out for a classic like A Place for My head, and a new song like Burning in the Skies in the set list. There are songs that we are really getting teased with but also want to listen to in full. I just hope LP can give us some more surprises as they continue to tour. They're doing a pretty good job so far. I don't see why people complain so much this year especially since they already have a kick ass setlist.

It definitely does, especially when they are "fixing" mistakes to make every show sound generic.

 

Hopefully LP will be comfortable with the new songs and stage before the US tour so they can mix it up. Considering the prep-work needed for songs (samples, lighting etc) and the band's hatred for certain material (Runaway, No Roads Left, etc), not too confident that we'll see more than 30 different songs on the complete touring cycle. Kind of sucks, since bands like 311 play at least 80 different tracks on a standard summer tour. At least Mike's there to throw in a random verse here and there!
