Reason for nomination: Fabio is a not only a great LP fan but also a very helpful one. He is as good as a LPL staff who sorts many of a mess. I first met him in the LPU and its because of him I came to know about LPL in the first place. Though I seldom post here (another reason why I would give 'my prize' to him) and only active in the LPUMB but never fail to check out the homepage regularly and read posts. And yes lastly he is a good friend

 

For Fabio LP is not only the band he loves

Reason for nomination: Well, nowadays people don't care about tapers and the work they're doing (Mainly because of the DSP's sold..) Seriously, what reason is that anyone is a hardcore-linkinpark-maniac/collector/whatever you call them? Or another example: 3545764567 posts at LPL? IMHO there are thousands of them so everybody should receive the prize.

Tapers on the other hand are working their ass off trying to get as best recording as they can so later it can be shared among lp community (days after the show or even years - making it a great exclusive)

I would nominate AndOne or nkramar, Mark or ChesterChaz but obviously i can't due to rules...This leaves me with few guys who are still active.

Would love to choose from people I know, that are very good friends but I'll stay with tapers, Bartek mainly. There are other but as I said, i choosed from the active ones. Hopefully he's work will be appreciated as much as other tapers work also.

I don't know a lot of LP fans who are that tolerant and open minded of the new direction Linkin Park are going now.

I'm always reading stuff like "oooh I loved the nu metal so much" from good friends. But she is one of that people who never did that and you can talk with her seriously about anything that depends on LP even when its not always "candy". And she is also a very good friend of mine and I would be really happy for her if she would win that, 'cause she deserves it!

(I'll never forget that Dead by Sunrise show early this year. I was only standing right in front of Chester because she kept an amazing place for me in the "first row" )

Reason for nomination: He's the person I've known the most in the LPL community. I first talked to him icer1 year ago and since then I'm convinced that he would deserve any LPL prize. I've first met him at the 2nd LP Show at Greece. There was a period that we were trading DVD shows. He even wanted to record LP's show, but his camera broke 'cause a guy hit him by accident when the opening act was playing. In spite of that, he didn't complain because he knew that LP's show was more important to him that his camera. He even caught a pick that Mike threw to the crowd. I think he still might have it. Now, we're two good friends that met each other through our love for LP!. Anyway, Vav is a great guy, you can find him anywhere on LPL and he loves LP as much as anyone else here. Maybe even more. I really hope he wins.

I think he should win this contest. He has been a fan of LP since the Papercut video came out. So he is pretty old in this business The last few years he was trying to promote the band everywhere he could, he has been making remixes, videos, T-Shirts, working on a website and other stuff. He is a really cool and creative guy, but a bit underrated. He is good to everyone, so helpful. If you have any questions about the LP or any problem you think he could help he does everything just to help you. As a fan he has made friends with a lot of cool people from quite a lot countries around the world. (and keeps chatting with them) He always says when he will have a lot of money, he will travel around the world to meet all of his net-friends. I don't know him yet personally, but I consider him as my brother. We are planning to go to an LP concert next year. I know it is going to be an awesome trip, but at first we need to get a car

He loves Linkin Park from the bottom of his heart, he was at 2004 concert in Brasil and now, even if he living far away from city where show will be he found money (its a lot, believe me) to see, enjoy and to take part in the show of our favorite band! Reason for nomination: Well, as he said in his post he's the person I know the most in LPLive We started talking online as we were both trading linkin park shows back in the day, and I can assure you he's the most devoted fan I've ever met. He'd do anything to find any show and I was amazed by his collection of bootlegs. Then we met last summer in LP's concert here in Athens where I had told him I'd record the show and share the dvd with him, but unfortunately some random guy broke my camera as he mosh pited on me. I was amazingly pissed but he backed me up on this one telling me that I should forget about it and enjoy the show, and that's what I did. And he was right because LP were outstanding for a second year in a row, and I would have missed a lot if it wasn't for him. We've been good friends ever since, and I admire him a lot because he's an open minded fan,and truly loves Linkin Park. And not only that; I remember him saying how he feels he owes to Linkin Park because they got him to listen to all those kinds of music, learn so many other bands and in the end form his musical tastes. That's when I realized how much Linkin Park has affected my own tastes, and furthermore, my own life,perspective and personality, turning me into the person I am now. And I believe that's a lesson for everyone. So Jako, thank you man, and I really hope you win the prize.

Well, when I first heard that we're allowed to nominate someone, I was thinkin about Mark or Jonas cause we owe them a lot for this awesome website. But when I read that we can't nominate Staff members, it was an easy decision to make, cause I can't think of any better person to win this awesome price.

 

Why Nameless?

I gotta admit it has more personal reasons. He made it possible for me to meet Chester Bennington in 2009 and he's been a good friend ever since.

But I also know that he does a good job at lplive.net and / or the italian Fansite... sometimes waiting until the late night to look out for news concerning Linkin Park. He's helpful wherever and whenever he can, and respectful to anyone who is respectful towards him. He has a good sense about what's right and what's wrong and he often puts other people before himself..

 

Why the iPod?

Even though he's a mac user, he doesn't have an iPod or iPhone... isn't that odd? xD No, seriously. He's a collector, just like me, and he already got all the LPU CDs. And even though I'd like to have the iPod, I think he deserves it a hundred times more for his loyality towards Linkin Park, his awesome personality and engagement. Actually, I would even pass on the LPU CDs to make him get the iPod - that is how much he deserves it^^

 

There are probably others who deserve it too, but unfortunately I don't know them all. But I'm sure you guys will make the right decision.

He has been a hardcore Linkin Park since the old days, and he has also contributed to LPL in many different ways, especially with news and some live facts. He's definitely one of the most dedicated chilean fans I know, based on the fact that he likes collecting LP shows in audio and video, he loves playing LP songs on piano, and he is also writing a songfiction inspired in each of the ATS songs.

Besides, he's one of the most active members of the chilean Linkin Park community/fanclub called 'Midnight Soldiers'. I know he will be very happy to receive the LPU cd's, since he hasn't been able to sign up for the LPU due to economical reasons. He's as excited as me to seeing Linkin Park for the first time in Santiago in a couple of weeks, and I think that giving him this valuable LP CD collection would make next month perfect.

Reason for nomination: Where should I start? There are so many reasons to nominate Daniel. I knew him at the time I was becoming a Linkin Park fan, and he’s the most kind fan you’ll ever meet. He’s always trying to help people getting new info, or media about the band, since he collects live material, and meanwhile he can, he will always share it with newer fans.

Also, some of the best reviews and analysis from LP songs that I’ve read came from this guy. Reading his review of MTM a couple of years ago in the Chilean community of LP changed completely how I understood the album. I guess I’ll nominate him to win the iPod just because he owns most of LP albums.

Finally, I would say, this guy loves LP, he likes their music, he understands it, and even he sings it because he’s a singer. He is also one of the few Chilean LPUers, which shows his dedication for the band. I haven't met another person with such passion for the band. He respects the other fans, which in many cases do not agree with the band's decisions, and he also is willing to help the newer fans when they have doubts, or need some kind of material. Besides, he's been a contributor to LPL for a long time, and that's why I think he deserves some recognition.
