lpnonpoint Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 NYC is so far from Miami! I just cant wait for the tour. I wish they would do more shows in smaller venues but i know that cant happen. Quote
leftshoe18 Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 (edited) I'll bet that this will be the only show where they play ATS in its entirety. If they do that idea at all. Edited August 19, 2010 by leftshoe18 Quote

Ree Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Darn I live kind of close but I have work at night. Can't you book a day off or call in sick? haha such an amazing opportunity! I really hope this gets broadcasted somewhere. Quote
leftshoe18 Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 (edited) Didn't Ana say Mike said at the prelistening party that they were playing only ATS in 2010? Oh, really? I hadn't heard that yet. Nevermind me folks. Just to get this straight. That's not sarcasm, I really hadn't heard that. Edited August 19, 2010 by leftshoe18 Quote
ChuckCheese Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Didn't Ana say Mike said at the prelistening party that they were playing only ATS in 2010? No. I'm 99% sure he didn't say that. Quote
JohnathanM56 Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Well, since my friend has LPU and pre-ordered the album, I'm most likely going. This is one of those times where I'm glad I live in NYC lol. See you guys there. Quote
avo17 Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Dammit! Not a member of LPU but I live so close! I feel like they're taunting me lol. Quote
threewingedfury Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Flying to NYC = much cheaper than driving. It's like $90 to fly from Atlanta lol Maybe for you. Cheapest I can find is $179 round trip, not to mention cab fare and whatever else. Looks like NYC is only 8.5 hrs from me, so $100 round trip for gas. I might just drive up afterall, who wants to help out with gas and I pick you up on the way? lol Quote

threewingedfury Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 If you're serious, I'd definitely be down for that. Let's see how much tickets are first. My husband would be with me, but I could fit 2 more people in the car if they're willing to help out with gas. Quote
dromani22 Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 about 4 / 5 hours from MA. i hate not having a license. i want to go to this SO bad. like more than anything. Quote
LinkinParkHotspur Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Not sure if I'll be able to attend this one. More likely I will in LA. I wish it said this: LPU: "Join Linkin Park in celebrating the release of their new album A Thousand Suns with a rare small room performance in LinkinParkHotspur's apartment. This special event WILL sell out. Make sure to bring ear plugs to protect your ears and prepare to not have any personal space." Quote
hahninator Posted August 19, 2010 Author Posted August 19, 2010 Tickets aren't free for the LPU? Quote
kelies Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 (edited) I can probably just walk there after class. Hahaha. My campus is only a few minutes away. Edited August 19, 2010 by kelies Quote
lakersfan13 Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Tickets aren't free for the LPU? I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I've never joined. But it does say on the website that LPU members and then people who pre-order A Thousand Suns will have the first chance to purchase tickets, so I'm assuming they won't be free. Quote
holdlife Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 sounds awesome. wish i could go! i'm only a few states away from NY but i'm not sure i want to make the trek up there. i bet it's going to be awesome though for who ever gets to go. Quote
castro78 Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 I'm definitely going....I live 15 minutes away from the venue. Of course it will take 2 hours to get there in rush hour traffic, but it will be worth it. Quote
LPxDC Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Would really like to know the price of tix. Going to the show from va hopefully Quote
Chriznis Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 I am DEFINITELY fucking going. No matter what. There's no stopping me. See you guys there! Quote
dromani22 Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Would really like to know the price of tix. this. Quote
ShinigamiPWN Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Road trip? If we could get a bunch of people from the south to go together, it may cost us less I want to go pretty bad myself, but I'll be heading to Port Ewen, NY on the 17th for a chinchilla show and it's too bad I'm not going to the area earlier as it would be much much easier and cheaper than having to drive back and forth to NY twice in the same week. But I've gotta find a way to go. That'd be bitchin.. but as it stands.. it's just too short notice for me. If it weren't for my mum being all.. "Let's try and go to NY!" I would have just not even bothered with the idea of possibly going. Quote
LPPRJKT4 Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 (edited) USA, the home of awful venue names ^^ Jealous you can't make it? You guys get the better setlists, we get the early shows, we're even lol. I am DEFINITELY going to this one, nothing will stop me! Not even.... EDUCATIONAL TELEVISION??????
